I was visiting Menara DBKL 2 on Aug 11th for license enquiry. I would like to express my gratitude to the DBKL staff who helped me on that day to complete my task, the timeframe between 3.10pm to 3.40pm. I was waiting in the queue to make payment after the license approval. However unfortunately the system was down on that day and without any further explanation the staff from counter 1 & 2 asked me to sit down in front of the counter 4 window and handed me the computer to login into DBKL. Only words given was "You have to do everything by yourself, we can't always help you." Funny thing is I was told by the staff who approved my license to specifically complete the whole process by making the payment at the counter because my case is a little bit special whereby I won't be able to make payment online. "Never Listen" / "Never Offer Alternative" --- is kind of the service we are expecting from authority and indeed that was what I getting at that time, sitting at counter 4 feeling clueless on what to do. Doesn't help when you see the staff at counter 1 & 2 borak & laughing and don't give a damn on what happened. Because for starter we usually go through the agent & runner for license enquiry, however after 7 months without any progression, I decided to pay a visit myself to find out what happened. And I didn't expect I have to carry all the DBKL login details when usually I was not even the one who constantly follow up on the case. After sitting there 15mins cracking my head on how to login DBKL system, another staff in his casual clothe (with sling bag^^) passed by behind the counter, as in someone who is ready to go home. I believe he can see my frustration and even though he seems to be ready to leave, what he did was sat down in front of counter 4 and asked how he can helped. I explained my situation and immediately he offered his assistance to expedite the whole process. Another funny thing is he actually didn't fully understand what he supposed to do in my case. Ironically he asked for help from the staff of counter 1 & 2. Staff 1 & 2 did offer the explanation over the conversation so that staff 4 know how to proceed to the next step. Staff 4 reconfirmed by saying that my case can only be settled over the counter, and just merely logging to the website won't settle my case. So a staff who is about to go home (I might be wrong) passed by coincidentally and stepped up to solve my problem while all along there were 2 other staffs who knew the answer chit chat in their standby mode. My case was resolved within 10 minutes after staff from counter 4 stepped in. The payment was done and the whole process considered complete. Million thanks to staff who helped on counter 4 between 3.15pm-3.40pm on Aug 11th. You truly are different than the rest and I hope you will be able to inspire the rest to follow your step. Kudos and GOOD JOB~ The 5 star is for you only and for those who doesn't deserve the 5 star, we do hope that you improve~
website down for 3 weeks. and the website is so not friendly user and outdated. nak bayar pun susah, nak pergi sana buat lesen pun tak senang, tak ada proper car park. counter reception orang tu, main bimbit sahaja, tak erti buat kerja. macam mana you nak kita malaysian maju? you banyak wang, tapi tak tau guna untuk maju kan governement office? kalau boleh, satu hair improve 1% pun bagus la. sedikit improve janji system improve and bagus. ini pun one of the satu reason, Malaysia tak maju macam jiran (SG) kita. juga one of the reason, malaysia ringgit tak strong. jangan selalu macam katak di tempurung, pergi tengok dan belajar macam mana jiran kita atau top company hired good and right attitude people to run and improve la. fikiran jangan short term, tolong fikir long term and majukan malaysia la. counter reception tu, jangan selalu tiktok atau social media. improve your knowledge and improve the company situation la. do beyond your normal job scope. think out from the box. tolong la tolong.
Most Terrible experience here especially with the staff officer who worked at the front desk, a lady with blue uniform. Did not know the name but I hope DBKL can look into this problem seriously. Hope you are able to trace the staff officer who worked at this shift. I came on 28/10/2022 2.45pm for license renew. I was wearing overknee skirt and she was rude to reject me from going up. There were few more ladies wearing overknee skirt too and were rejected. We emphasized that our length of skirt were over the knee and we are not wearing any sleeveless or sexy attire. Lastly, she allowed us to go in but shouted us in a rude voice. She even shouted at an old lady who was in queue. Is this the way you treat people? Is this a proper manner? Couldn't you inform us politely instead of finger pointing with harsh? What a shame on your department! Government staff wearing nice blue uniform but with this kind of attitude. Hope DBKL or whoever in charge can look into this problem seriously.
Datang untuk mohon lesen papan tanda klinik. Sebab tak boleh buat online. (Fail#1). Parking motosikal senang, tepi bangunan dah ada. Parking kereta rasanya susah. Jam teruk waktu pagi. Baik gunakan public transport atau naik motosikal sahaja. Ada kaunter saringan sebelum masuk bangunan, kita diberi nombor. Lepas masuk bangunan, buat pendaftaran untuk dapatkan pas pelawat. Untuk buat signboard, perlu ke tingkat 5 - Bahagian Utara (ada tertulis pada pas pelawat). Di Bahagian Utara Tingkat 5, semak semua dokumen dengan merujuk kepada papan kenyataan dan mohon semak dengan pegawai di kaunter 12 atau 13. Lepas disemak, dapatkan nombor giliran di kaunter 14 dan tunggu untuk giliran anda. Fail#2: pagi-pagi lagi sistem down so terpaksa tunggu. Tempat duduk luas dan selesa. Tandas bersih. Keseluruhannya pegawai bertugas mesra dan membantu.
Khas utk Bahagian Perlesenen. Servis yang teruk dan sangat-sangat menyusahkan penjaja. Kene datang 3 kali hanya untuk mendapatkan lesen sementara Receptionist tak bagi informasi yang salah, pegi ke kaunter pun cakap sediakan gambar dan salinan ic. Nak ambil gambar terdekat dkt jalan TAR. Bila datang kali ke 2, staff lain ckp nak salinan surat tawaran dan salinan resit penbayaran tapak pula. Nak photostat kena pergi seberang jalan besar dkt bangunan kwsp. Dah ingt settle, esknya diinform yang salinan ic tiada, padahal kita dah submit, dia yang hilangkan, padahal masa kita submit document staff tu bergayut dgn kawan kat phone. Then kata nak batalkan lesen kalau tak submit salinan ic. Tak ke menyusahkan? Servis mcm sampah.
Come here for no choice...rude officer, need to wait for almost 2 hours...before this came here for two days and telling you that nombor giliran habis...for sure I tell you come earlier, do you think someone will care when we write a review here? No there are not. Hope my review will really been read by those ego and rude officer...really can't understand work on 9am but finished work on 2 or more even earlier...terbaik Malaysia...really proud with you all♂️
Such a bad experience I’m a 9 month pregnant lady came here regarding a license. The staff work in the main lobby stop me said I can’t go up coz of my dress I wonder why I’m wearing a proper pregnancy dress till my knee with sleeves. Fine they stop me going up and only let my hubs but they were so many chair empty fry don’t have heart to let me sit there or approach me to sit on the chair till my husband come down!! Is this how government treat human beings?
Very Bad customer service. Call the helpline to get information on my license. Agent told me go to the office. I when to the office they ask to go another place and get letter and come. My question is why the customer service agent doesn't know about this. Even the Receptionist downstairs doesn't know. They ask me to go 5th floor they will tell you what to do. End up coming out of DBKL office with no work done. :-/ Please improve your SOP. Kind request Thank You
building is old but it is being somewhat maintained.... now there have a appointment system which is absolute nonsense since even you have an appointment, it doesn't mean the correct PIC will be in office. The online system does not inform PIC or their respective department someone is coming to meet them. Don't bother to call, for the past 3 week calling their respective department and not even one picks up the call.
katanya buka 8am-3pm, tapi 11am lebih sampai nombor giliran dah habis. lagi mau tanya pun kena tunggul pekerja2 habis cakap-cakap ketawa baru dilayan.last diberitahu hantar borang pun kena pakai kaunter, nombor dah habis kena datang esok pagi, tak boleh u punya hal.
Sewaktu bangunan ini dikendalikan oleh pkns, bangunan ini sangat dhoif. Sebaliknya berlaku, apabila bangunan ini diambil alih oleh pihak dbkl, bangunan yang dhoif telah bertukar menjadi bangunan moden seperti bangunan disekeliling nya.
Beware when you park at the open space parking beside the building, especially in the morning, their security gates are always out of order. They will simply charge you RM10 when the machine is not working. Very bad experience
Kakitangan DBKL sangat menpunyai kesabaran even though system tergendala. Lagipun, anggota2 yang bertugas serta pegawai2 pun memberi additional support to semua public2. Especially warga emas. Keep it up.
Tolong letak staff yang berpengalaman , 3 hari saya datang , beratur dari jam 6pagi tapi kesudahannya satu hari satu barang xcukup , kalau diberitahu apa yg perlu dibawa dlm sehari kan senang .
Parking mmg susah, so prefer someone who can drop by. Most of the counter 12.40 dh Kate come after 2pm, sbb dh nk lunch time -. My experience dengan level 6 Kaunter Kewangan.
Only go if no choice to renew the premise license. Was turned back twice in 2 days coz they have run out of numbers in the afternoon. Will go there the 3rd day before 8am .
Puan yg jaga di bahagian perlesenan tingkat 5 sangat2 mmbantu dan senang faham. Salute your explanation and assist. 5 star to you kak, lupa tanya nama pula tadi.
kaunter lobi menara dbkl 2 menyusahkan. faham je prosedur kena bagi dokumen utk dpt pas pelawat, dah memang takde lesen, takkan tak boleh terima ic!!!! merepek2.
It's ok considering the new norm SOP. Limited parking. If want to park besides the link bridge to KTM for any business in DBKL, better come early in the morning
Customers service number not in service , call many times no response or go offline , whats use of this department customers services?
Remember to make online appointment before you reach this place before 1pm during this critical period of time. Yes. They are open.
Only issue is that it's quite a small and expensive parking... Especially for a place that requires you to wait for your number.
Advised to use public transport to reach here. The parking is too expensive. The building staffs are very friendly and helpful.
I went on 30 Dec 2022. The parking area next to their building is closed. So park at maybe SOGO mall or somewhere nearby
