I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting this Laundry Mart for the first time, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment my partner and I stepped foot in the establishment, we were met with rude and disrespectful behavior that left us feeling utterly disgusted. Firstly, let's talk about the prices. I went to wash four duvets, which I thought would be a relatively straightforward task. However, I was shocked to learn that the cost of washing alone was a whopping $30. As if that wasn't enough, an additional $10 was required just for drying them. Seriously, $40 to clean four duvets? This is an outrageous price by any standard, and I couldn't help but feel like they were trying to rip us off. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was appalling. As first-time customers, we expected a warm welcome and some assistance with the process. However, the owner seemed disinterested and unwilling to help. When we asked for guidance on how to operate the machines or any instructions specific to washing duvets, they responded with curt and dismissive remarks. It was as if he couldn't be bothered to offer basic customer service. The owner, in particular, stood out as the epitome of rudeness. Not only did he ignore our questions and concerns, but he also treated us with a complete lack of respect. His condescending tone and dismissive attitude were deeply upsetting. It's disheartening to think that paying customers should be subjected to such mistreatment, especially when it was our first time at the Laundry Mart. My partner and I expressed our dissatisfaction and cautioned him to be polite, instead, he started yelling at us and us we could leave his establishment if we are not happy with the service. We couldn't leave right away because our clothes were still in the dryer. I couldn't help but wonder if the owner's behavior was driven by something deeper. The way we were treated left me with the unsettling feeling that racism might be a factor. I sincerely hope this is not the case, but the owner's demeanor towards us was so unwarranted and harsh that it raised suspicions. Given the exorbitant prices, the lack of assistance, and the disrespect we encountered, I cannot in good conscience recommend this Laundry Mart to anyone and I would not be returning here. It's clear that they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction and basic decency. I would much rather spend a similar amount at a reputable dry cleaner, where I don't have to endure the manual labor myself and where I can expect to be treated with respect and professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this Laundry Mart at all costs. Find a cleaner that values its customers and is willing to provide the level of service and respect that every paying patron deserves.

A small sized laundromat that also provide dry cleaning and alteration services. The owners are helpful and friendly enough. The machines are all rather small. The medium sized and the big one are overpriced but if you are in Ottawa you have to chose one of the 3 laundromats that are open as of 2021. Price list, per load, as of December 2021: Small washer: $2.50 Medium washer: $3.50 Larger washer (only 2 available): $6.00 Big washer (only 2 available): $14.00 Dryer: $0.25 for 5 minutes Big dryer (only 2 available): $1.50 for 24 minutes. These dryers are available to you only if you use "Big" washer. I had to wash one comforter which was too big for my washer. I used the Large washer, but I could not use the Big dryer because, as per their policy, I did not pay for the "Big washer". Other dryers are all of the same size and I wasn't happy with the results. This place needs some cleaning. I was afraid that if I drop my comforter, I have to redo the wash. There is a small waiting area. For regular washing if you do not have washer/dryer or if yours is under repair, this place is great. For comforters, be prepared to spend $14 + $1.50 for each. They provide wash and fold services and I did see many bags washed, folded, and ready for pickup. They also provide alteration and repair services.

Terrible terrible service. As I'm typing this, the owner is yelling at a customer. Everytime I come here he's always yelling at someone. Terrible customer service. Make sure you don't follow the online hours given, cause theyre completely wrong. Last load is at 3. Walk in at 2.58? Ha! brace yourself for the owner to come yelling at you and cutting you off cause they decided not to update the hours online. The place itself is absolutely nasty, I don't know when was the last time they swept or cleaned, which is quite worrying considering this a laundromat. If you can find a better place, please I highly encourage it. Their bigger washers are super expensive and an absolute rip off. Their tailoring services are mid at best. Do yourself a favour and look for something else.

You could do worse, but if you have another option - take it. The machines are top loaders, and there are not a lot, so be careful. The place is dirty. The worse part is that you are stuck here with nothing to do. Next door are pizza shops (2), a bakery that has a woman's only entry in the front, and men only in the rear. Surplus furniture. And when I was there some dope smokers with facial tattoos. One woman, the other I am not sure. This place has a last wash at 3, which is best as it is not the sort of neighbourhood you want to be in too late, and I grew up near by. If it is not Wednesday, go to Maple Laundry. It is worth the drive.

This place is a complete rip-off!!! I took in a med sized dog bed to be washed and was told that I would have to use the machines at the back, fine. When I handed the owner a $10 for change, he told me that wouldn't be enough and that it was going to cost $14 just to wash the bed. I am guessing that he would want the same to or more to dry and so I would have been $30+ in just to wash the bed. When I called him on it, he got all upset and started yelling at me. Needless to say, I left and found another place that didn't believe in ripping their customers off!!! Stay far away!!!!! I would give no stars, if possible.

Please don't go there, the guy working there is the most unfriendly person I ever met. Very rude for everything you want like change for the machines or help when the machine is not working. Also the store closes at 5 but that is not true! The last cycle is allowed at 3pm (see photo) which is ridiculous because one load lasts 30 minutes. Also the whole area around the place is very sketchy and unclean (like the store itself). Last but not least the prices are average, so there are a really better places to go wash your clothes than that!

Firstly there was no option to give no star so I had to give 1. The outside was really outdated but let’s say “do not judge a book by its cover” when I entered its like I went through time and back to the 50s. Machines look like one of the first ones invented. Once the washing was over its like Noah’s floods came out with the clothes. Needless to say it took over 1hr to dry one load of laundry. And the Owner was not cooperating and didn’t want to do anything except watch his golf. He did come back to life once it was time to get paid.

If I could give it zero stars I would! I came in looking for a large dryer to dry items I had washed at home and without explination was flat out refused service. When I asked why he just rudley said if I use the washer I could use the dryer but not just the dryer. No further explinatiin. I can't understand why I would be treated with such hostility right off the bat. This whole exchange took maybe 2 min but it left me feeling so disrespected I will not be returning to give them any of my dry cleaning business as planned.

When called and asked for the price of using the machines I was told $1.25 but when I showed up the costs were almost triple that. The owner of the laundromat was rude to myself and my girlfriend and also to a couple others and polite to a select few. I do not recommend this place as they provide false pricing to lure you there and are just ignorant to some customers for absolutely no reason. -5/5 rating from me, the worst score I have ever given anywhere. Avoid this place!

Pros- The machines function and are relatively clean. They provide quarters and sell the necessary products like detergent and dryer sheets. They offer services like pick up/delivery, dry cleaning and alterations. They have a TV usually on the sports channel. Cons- Sometimes this place gets really busy and then the small parking lot is full or there are no machines available. The building is somewhat in a state of disrepair. They close early (last load is at 3:00).

5 stars for existing. Not many self sever laundromats these days. The large capacity washers are great for doing a bunch of blankets in one load. I would have spent the entire day washing blankets at home but did them all at once in two machines. I used three of the smaller machines at the same time for clothes and towels. I got a lot of laundry done in a short amount of time. Very convenient. The people that run the laundromat are very friendly and helpful.

I can't imagine any situation where I would prefer to wash my stuff outside my home, but it was nice to go there when I needed to. They didn't seem particularly happy to see us, and the once a staff member thought it was ok to touch the laundry I was doing as I was putting it into the machine. He wasn't helping, so I'm not really sure what that was about. It looks like laundromats are closing more and more, so at least this place is still open.

A decently sized coin laundry that also has a dry cleaners in it. The owners are helpful and friendly enough. The machines are all rather small and the medium sized one is a bit overpriced but it's the only coin laundry I've come across so far with wifi so I don't mind paying an extra dollar or two to make my time inside pass by quicker. Will probably use this location again!

Would not recommend. This laundromat was smelly, cluttered, and incredibly busy. We came to wash our bedding, as our in-home machines are too small for their size, and found the bedding smelled worse AFTER being washed and dried. We have to rewash everything. If you're in a pinch, could work, but could not recommend in good conscience for regular use.

Sometimes there is a lot of stuff around clothing-wise but it usually doesn't interfere with you doing laundry. Do laundry machines work really well and have never had problems

Updated hours of service by business owner? Why would you update your hours a week ago and then not actually change them? I took three buses to get to your laundromat, which is the closest one to where I live and I get there after reading that you have changed your hours and... surprise ! You're still closed at 5. I will never come here again.

If I could put no stars I would. Owner very rude to his customers. Yells at them telling them they are lairs when they tell him his machine is broken. Tells you he doesn't care if your his customers or not. Doesn't care if he loose business. I would never go there again. Almost wanted to call police on owner that's how bad it was.

Arrive to wash a single quilt on a quick wash cycle. Was directed to a machine, not told the price or offered any information. Upon starting the cycle was told we had to pay the owner $14.00 for a single load and told it would take more than 45minutes. Would seriously recommend avoiding.

Most unfriendly owner, gets mad when you ask for change and doesn’t want anyone to touch his machines. At one point he pushed my mother toward the cash register and told her not to come back if she kept asking for change. I would give it a zero rating if I could. Was also very racist.

Just so people are aware that this place is not open till five but only till three because the guy wants to clean his place 2 before he closes so if you have to do laundry you can’t if it’s after 3pm his customer service is terrible. Go els wear if you need to don’t go here! …

Its okay, $3 for wash and about $2-$2.50 for a dry. There was lots of hair on the ground and it got on the bottom of my laundry basket. Not much in the way of covid measures. There's no change machine so you have to ask for change everything you need some.

My machines at home are too small for my comforters so I came here. The machines are faster than mine which is great and the man running the show was really helpful and friendly. The machines are a great price too. Really cheap. I'll be back.

Great laundromat. Friendly owners...husband & wife & cute little dog! Premises clean & machines in excellent working order. Not too crowded and they always provide quarters for machines. Parking lot small but functional. Highly recommend!

Don't let the age of the outside and sketch of the following businesses mislead you! The husband/wife duo that run this place are friendly, courteous and they do great alterations. Compared to other places the prices here are also fair.

I needed a laundromat urgently, as my washer needs fixed! They have great hours and equipment. But, the best part was the gracious help I received from the owners! Very helpful, as I had not used coin machines in many years

This laundromat is great for self serve laundry.. owner will provide change as most machines use quarters or dollars. Owner was very friendly and always offering to help which was appreciated as it was our first time here

Nice laundromat with friendly people. The machines are clean and there are plenty, 28 I think of each washers and dryers. Store itself is a little cluttered with so many services offered, but over all a good experience.

It was my first time there and the facility was extremely clean the staff was very helpful I lost money in the machine and with no hesitation they came over and replaced the money no question asked I would go back

You can wash your clothes here. Average prices. Owner is as chatty or quiet as you are. There's some clutter.. but doesn't stop you from washing your clothes. Not high end.. but I like it

Owners/staff were really friendly. They helped getting me sorted out using the large capacity washers to wash a sleeping bag. But they need to replace the magazine pile from the 90s. :D

The washers didn't ring out the clothes very well so they were wetter than they should have been, and even after 40 minutes in the dryer, some areas of the clothes were still damp.

Don't bother getting your dry cleaning done here. Its done out of house and that leads to long delays. They changed the prices and make you pay more than original price.

The owner is very friendly and cleans every machine after each use! Prices are reasonable. All machines are working and in good shape. Plus there’s wifi available.

Coin Laundry that doesn’t make change or have a coin machine? Can’t even turn on the open signs when the place is actually open because the hours aren’t accurate.

It does not comply with the service hours, it says that it closes at 5 pm and being 3 pm it is closed, the service and attention are terrible.

It's a Sunday thing i do my laundry then so all my work clothes are clean you are better off to show up at 8 am cause it gets full fast

Their website says they close at 5pm, but I wasn’t able to do a load of laundry at 3pm due to “last call”; make it make sense.
