Sun out? Tired of noisy stinky indoor playgrounds? Try this park. A modern blend of Australian rolling landscaping backed by 300 year old gums and scrub. Organic designed beds and paths wend around multi layered play equipment connected by wooden bridges, climbing walls and cubby areas. A variety of play equipment should keep many occupied. Follow the path to a well resolved sandpit which references the agricultural history of the area. A very large stump makes for a great natural climb for little ones. Discover all the details and sculptures that reference the wildlife and equine themes. All this is complemented by a mini lake with a circuit path. Bbq facilities are here too. You will have to follow your children around. It is very easy to lose sight of them in this park especially if you are with the BBQ. Bubble taps aren't there or hard to locate. Perhaps near the BBQ. Take a bottle.

A large wooden style adventure playground that has tunnel slide and big slide, sand pit with a digger and little funnels to pour sand into. Four person seasaw, two normal swings and one toddler swing. A tractor, noughts and crosses, find the treasure, count the fish. Rope net you lie in, shop front with a bell. Rocking climbing wall, flying fox. Farmyard wordsrarch, farm find, slide puzzle and 3 funny mirrors. Lots of tables under shelters with bench seats and other seats around. Barbecue, drinking tap and tolites. Lots of grass area to have picnic on and for the kids to play on. Also a lake where you can look at the ducks.

we were at the lake across from the Adventure Park... hopefully the Council is putting in some Toilet facilities in the area, as this area is very popular with families (the area has bbq and picnic facilities) and there is some work going on both on the Adventure Park side as well as the Dog Park side... better amenities encourage more folks to enjoy the area.

I have so many great memories here but accessibility could be improved, especially with the chip bark being terrible for wheelchair users and not many accessible play options. Please do not feed the ducks, not even seeds, it will rot and kill them or make them dependent on human feeding.

Very small park, and there are some kids rides. Me and my husband went for an evening park and it didn’t have much. There is a small dirty pond which has a walking bridge. We took a round there and it ends in 5 min. It may be good to take your kids for a quick ride.

Large playground, great for young and bigger kids. Playground had multiple levels and are tall enough bigger kids can play. Really cool tractor Nice dog park area and nature walk near by Biggest down fall was that the toilets were filthy. Disgustingly filthy.

Lovely park. This park has been renovated and now its much better than before. My kid love playing hours in this park. This park also has small walking trail. With a decent BBq station and toilets... this is good park to spend time over weekends. Thanks

Large park with play equipment and sand pit, small lake with ducks and swans and bbq facility (walk around the path to the right over looking the lake). Small car park but you generally get a spot. Rubbish bins on site. Lovely spot. No toilets.

My kids (and I!) adore this place. Not only does the playground have different levels and all kinds of different equipment and elements including sandpits, swings, slides and monkey bars but it is next to wetlands with plenty of bird life

Big playground split over a few areas with lots of sturdy equipment to entertain, climb, swing and challenge kids at various age groups ... and there's a dog park across the road as a bonus for your 4-legged other child :)

Saturdays are the free community 5k runs or walk at 8am. Next to the Merna Adventure park. Fantastic circuit great volunteers and awesome way to meet people while keeping fit. Very well organised and perfect settings. YC

Good place for the kids to play The only thing is there is no public toilets they should have them makes it very hard for the kids not to go to the toilets they can't stay to long at the park.

Very busy, hardly any softfall mulch if a kid was to fall off any equpiment. Slide finished too high off the ground for most kids to reach making it dangerous and not enough parking for cars.

Not far from south morang here we live. A nice themed adventure playground for kids with lots to explore. We went and stayed atleast an hour and a half without getting bored.

What would otherwise be a beautiful park has too much trash scattered around. All bins overflowing. Council should probably have the bin men empty the bins more frequently.

Well designed for kids, but too many unavoidable safety hazards .. limited resting place under shadow.. remote from all other services. Not a single cafe within 2kms

Nice place. Good activities for kids. Place for bbq is a bit far from play area. Lots of ducks and lorakeet. Nice natural views of water, greenery and wildlife.

I think the way this park was built is wrong. In my opinion, it's quite safe for kids play as playground is constructed on a hill with rocky slopes around.

Need maintenance and more activities for kids. A bit dated as it has been in this format for in excess of 13 years. Parks and gardens need attention.

Good park heaps are playing area for the kids. Only down side is it didn't have public toilet near so had to go home once the little one needs to go

Really good place for kids of all ages has a little bit of everything. Swings, slides, climbing equipment, ducks and a dog park. Highly recommended

Nice little park with some swings for kids to enjoy. Some ducks could be seen in the ponds. I just couldn't find any drinking water in the park.

Really good modern playground in serene surrounds. Nice walking trails too. 2 BBQs and tables at the plaground however BBQs is not under cover.

My local park and is now getting a bit long in the tooth. It could do with a refresh/update. The kids still love it and that's the main thing.

Such a great park, feed the ducks, bring kids bikes, play in the sandpit, play on the adventure playground. Heaps of fun! Bbq facilities too!

Beautiful park, easy parking, perfect to feed the ducks. Toilets available, there was a coffee track there to, slides And swings avaible to.

Equipments, landscaing and size are great. Kids loved this park, but there is no toilet! I would not go back there unless i move to Mernda.

Nice place, especially the wetlands, but the adventure part is a little lacking. Eltham and Bundoora have older but better play equipment.

We love bringing our children to have a run around on the playground or walking around the lake or to just sit and watch the water birds.

Old & rundown, still ok to burn toddlers energy older ones over 5 get bored quickly, be careful of snakes in summer & rats in wet season

I went there for a wedding. It is a very nice place with some nice facilities for a barbecues and a nice playground for the children.

Beautiful park and beautiful weather. Would have been even better if there was bike and basketball or soccer area as well. …

Best playground in Mernda. Plenty of place for kids to run around and play. Come to this place atleast 3 to 4 times a week.

Not very good for the younger kids. Spread out play areas and very high up equipment. Wood is rotting in some areas also.

Nice and clean after the revamp, lots to do including sand play and a tractor. Definitely not toddler friendly.
