The security guard working the shift here is unreasonable and I will not be back. I sat down to charge my phone for 3 minutes after finishing shopping for some essentials. I had just pulled out my phone cable when the security guard b-lined it from his desk to *stop* me from doing so. I explained that I wanted to ensure that I would have enough charge on my walk home and maintain some form of connection to the outside world as a sensible safety precaution as a female walking alone. I even specifically got a cab from work to the mall so that I could do my shopping locally and walk home. He didn’t even have a bit of empathy he said it was for the cleaners only - end of story. Which is ridiculous, look around this place and you will see tacky arcade machines and massage chairs that I’ve never seen used - Every other modern mall has a charging station area in the food court or even as a locker system where you can pay a couple dollars and charge your phone. Not to mention, they had no working accessible bathrooms available. Don’t go to this slum mall. Spend your money anywhere else but here.
Not a fan at all. Hey did a renovation a bunch of years ago to try to make the place a little nicer but it went downhill very quickly. Went to change my daughters diaper and found used needles in the washroom out in the open. Blood on the toilet. Water everywhere. Was disgusted and worried about what all might be living all over. Went to the handicap bathroom instead for more room and on the toilet paper holder there was not one but five used needles. FIVE. That’s a junky party proof in the handicap bathroom. We ended up changing my daughter behind a tree in the field behind the mall. Went back in the mall for some food and told a cleaner who was talking to a different cleaner at the time - the entire time we were there they didn’t step foot in either bathroom to clean it up. Maybe I missed that they went in? I peeked my head in… and it hadn’t changed one bit. I will never ever step foot in that mall again. Ever.
Updated Covid-19 times. Several of the hand cleanser receptive I tried were empty and this was at 11am. The mall isn't exactly booming with visitors at this time. Disappointing, hence the drop in rating. If visiting Service Canada, park in the rear of the mall. This was the first mall built in Millwoods (circa 1978 +/-) Over the years it has tried to reinvent itself numerous times. A couple of the stores that opened back then are still there: Safeway, the barber shop, and the Daycare. Medical offices and a Service Canada now occupy a lot of space. Times change. In its present format Im not sure how or how long this mall can survive.
This 4 stars represents it is an okay mall for essentials. (ATM + bank, groceries, medical center, hair and beauty salons, cell phone repair and tailoring to name a few.)This is not indicative of quality but rather that it has room for growth and new business to add to its vitality. There is a new grocery store named Freshco added to the mall. I am confident it is going to serve a lot of members in this neighborhood area. I recently discovered that the washrooms have been updated through renovations, they look clean and smell nice.this update has now been posted in 2022.
The original pharmacist and staff remain at Fresco! Fresh faces for all your shopping needs, too, for groceries. Shout out to Moe and his incredible staff! They've been cutting hair in my family for decades. Great that Shopper's Drug Mart & Canada Postal outlet service the community. Always count on the friendly staff at Petro Canada when popping in for gas or lotto tickets. There are numerous services also available now and it's great to see the agencies in the first mall in this community. I remember when it was built and saw the changes throughout the years.
This is a mall on its last legs and it shows. While the new renovations look great almost all the service stores in this mall are going by the wayside. You know this place is in trouble when the McDonalds closes down....I will repeat, the McDonalds felt that they were better than this mall. Good place for government services and medical outlets but it is clear. The writing is on the wall. Sad, as this place has stood the test of time for years but, unfortunately, it was already going down hill in the 90's.
15 years back, this Mall used to be so bubbly and brilliant place. But with changing demography of the communities around, it has lost some of its sheen, yet the place reminds you of Ltd brilliance in past. Shops, shopping windows & walking-shopping area combination is one of the best community-based malls. The presence of local unit of Service Canada is an added value to mall. Nice place for indoor morning & evening walk, when winter chill discourages you from this light exercise.
I've lived in Millwoods all my life and only really know Millbourne from when I was little. I remember it being dark without much in it, it's always been a place I avoided. I recently went back because I hear about a great Filipino restaurant. I was actually surprised who nice the mall is now. It's not great, there isn't much besides a few restaurants, service Canada and Safeway but it's no longer dark or as scary as it once was. I would go back and give it another chance.
It's nice, it also has welcome centre for immigrants and service Canada, which are two very important places. We can also shop from shoppers and Safeway there, they also have a food court and a McDonald's! Other than this, Tim Hortons is very close to it, if you'd like anything else. There is a dentist clinic I suppose and a salon for waxing, manicure and pedicure, and some little shops in the middle of the mall. People are nice, thank you!
This mall needs serious renovations. I question why it's referred to as a mall all together. It's a dark little place with a crappy food court (which I would never purchase food from b/c I'm almost positive there's issues with rodents and insects in this mall). The actual stores you can shop in are few, and it's basically filled with government offices and medical facilities. It's better off torn down completely and rebuilt if you ask me.
It's a ghost mall waste of space time and what should be a prime location for a mid class restaurant, pub ,light night liquor store and a gym ! Boom 5stars people coming going spending and later to all the Huanters , Gengars, and shady people up to nothing good or needed in a the community ( drugs )!! Bad and crimes . It's an amazing opportunity! OK I'm done my rant peace love and chicken grease you beautiful people! Smile
I like this mall for the various stores within. You can shop as well as stop for a bite to eat if you get hungry during your shopping time. They also have other stores like Canadian Tire in the same parking lot as well as other restaurants and a few other stores close by. It's always a pleasure to come to this mall, it may not be a huge mall but it has a variety of different shops to choose from.
This mall fills your needs. Not one you'd really want to hangout at. I've had meetings there and will stop to do my own thing and get what I need at Safeway and Shoppers Drug Mart. Very clean I will add, many bathrooms available. Lots of wasted space. Lots of medical and services can be done there. Food court options are unique with ethnic varieties, only McDonalds as a food chain option
Worst reception. They are very rude and hang up phones on you anytime they want. They should close this location,if their stuff doesn’t know how to deal with patients. They have no respect for anyone.Craziest service ever.responsible people should take action.Front desk ladies are crazy..They think they are doctors.Very unfortunate..
Between the two public washrooms. One was out of order and the other did not have a change table. The only one available was in tower two, which there were no proper directions to get there until I took the wrong elevator up on the other side of the mall. You think it would be more family friendly. Not a great experience.
This is not a shopping and spending time with friends type of mall. But it's great for the purpose that you are going for. Groceries, haircuts, nails done. Stuff like that. It also has a good court with different places than most other malls. If you are going to the mall knowing what you need, you will be all set.
It is a small mall. Above of all it has Canada service centre, shoppers drug mart, TD bank, Wellcome centre for new immigrants, Safeway, MCDonald and many more. I included all the important place here. There is also a place named Aroma which is really good. I like their indian food, they are both cheap and testy
Very convenient, clean shopping mall, not busy for banking @ TD Bank, shopping @ Safeway & Shoppers Drug Mart, medical appointments, medical lab, employment insurance, retirement pension, physiotherapy, First Aid & CPR Courses, 2 dental clinics, 2 barber shops, Macdonald, Tim Hortons & small food court.
It's a nice peaceful mall with tons of fast-food chains, a little Shoppers, Safeway, some clinics, barber shops, immigration services, a vape shop, taekwondo, a kids place, a dental clinic, a massage clinic, etc. It was the perfect first go-to shopping place for a new immigrant, and probably still is.
Small mall with few shops. Hands down best shoppers drug mart I've been to- selection and savings wise. I also am a huge fan of their smoke shop. Cheapest ciggerates and paraphernalia in the city. Oh and the Safeway bakery makes sum killer donuts that are both tasty and unique to that location.
It's not that I dislike it, but you don't come to milbourne mall to shop.. I actually wouldn't even call it a mall because it doesn't really have any "retail store". It does have services clinics, agencies and salons. Has a food court with 4 or 5 venders if you include McDonald's.
Like a lot of malls, Milbourne is trying to find its place in everyday life. A lot of the places within are now service oriented shops like Government of Canada services, salon, nail shops, etc. Shopping is limited to groceries like Freshco and convenience stores like Shoppers.
There's not much to do at this mall. There is a small food court and some shops. There's a Safeway grocery store. It's a sad reality that other smaller malls will probably suffer the same faith as this mall because of the convenience of online shopping and competitive pricing.
I went to the grocery store, for a last-minute pick up during Thanksgiving. I can't remember the name of the store it was good, and the staff was pretty attentive, even though it seemed lightly staffed and they were busy. I felt bad for the cashier, it was his first day.
I like going here cause there medicial clinics, there a place to get your nails done , your hair done, shoppers, freshco, td bank in one spot . Make in easy to go in and get things done a the people are nice and do a good job getting what you need so thank u everyone.
Not really much in this mall. The 3 major things in this mall are a Shopper's Drugmart, Frescho & Canada Revenue. The food court only has 3 options, 2 of which made me sick. No clothing stores at all, as my friend put it "It's a quick stop old people mall"
I love this mall. The prices are terrific. Sales in almost every store plus I can go to my doctors appointment. Shop for groceries. Get my prescription. Lots of parking and Tim Horton's is right there as well. Five stars for Millbourne Market Mall! !
Convenient location to get several of my needs met today. I had bloodwork done, grabbed a few items at Shoppers Drugmart, had a free flu shot, and a delicious meal at the food court that has a wonderful and broad selection of items to choose from.
It's a great resource with many facilities including groceries, bank, blood lab, Canada Post, food shops, medical and dental clinics, Barber, jeweler, etc. The ample parking area always provides you with a spot to park as well as Tim Horton.
The food court is disgusting it only caters to ethnic cultures there is nothing to eat unless your are accustomed to eating the ethnic foods I didnt know what to order so I had a pip and bag of chips. It reminded me of a market in New Delhi.
Over the decades a number of stores have left this location. However, it still has lots of helpful businesses such as seamstress, cell phone fix, hair dressers, DynaLife lab, Shoppers Drug Mart. The Safeway is being replaced by a Chalo's.
I am really liking our newer Fresh I. Just started to shop here and am liking it. The store has a nice selection of fruits and vegetables. I bought some baked goods that were very good. Also, the store is clean and tellers were friendly.
The only thing this mall really has is a food court. It is rarely busy (outside school lunch hours) and has some good little places in it. Easiest place in Mill Woods to grab a cheeseburger, a donair, and some butter chicken in one stop.
I got my eyebrows waxed at the beauty salon here and they did a terrible job. Complete opposite to what I had wanted would not recommend it and will not be going back there ever again. The rest of the mall is great though love the food.
if your the kind of person who wanna evesdrop and learn the new gossips well this is the place for you, you can listen to the stories of diffrent people who hangout there in the food court. good food and good gossips nice combination.
This place is amazing! The food is inexpensive here compared to other malls in town. Highly recommend! In particular, the food from Grill Corner are excellent! I really love their sweet and sour fish as well as the fried chicken.
The mall is quite sad nowadays, it used to be so good, with a McDonald's and general more things but it's just getting sadder. They do have do have some good grocery stores and a Circle-K but it's just not what it used to be.
I made a visit today, I had an appointment at Service Canada. Due to covid the mall has very few visitors mostly to service canada or dental clinic. This place has variety of stores, eateries, a good place in the surrounding.
Just stopped in at FreshCo… which I most likely will only ever do if I’m absolutely desperate!! Price match or not, that was no sale!! It only counts as a sale when you don’t raise the prices through the roof before hand!!
Safeway, Shoppers Drugmart, TD bank, Canada Service Centre, Dentist, Medical testing center, McDonald's, and a small food court. Has the necessities and some shops selling inexpensive goods. One large storefront vacancy.
The food court they have here is really something special. Half the vendors are mom&pop businesses where you can get something relatively unique. It's a nice alternative to the same franchises at every other food court.
It feels like home and Government agencies are available, still very convenient place to shop, also Dyna life. Was in Freshco and good produce and someone spilled some milk on the floor and was cleaned up in 5 minutes.
I've a sentimental attachment to this place. Always feel relaxed when Im there. Some renovation is in progress here. There used to be a first aid and fire fighting training centre. Looks like they moved out from here.
We came here for The Canada Service Center. It was early so the stores were not open yet. For this reason we did not walk through the mall. However we appreciate the convenience of this Canada Center location.
Small place for the amount of traffic they get. Mc donallds competes with all the other food stands. Quiet place to sit in the food court The food stand on the corner is amazing. Two hair dressers smoke shop.
Wide variety of businesses and services share a roof here. Usually uncrowded, safe and fun place to go. If you want to eat some tasty tempting international food, please browse the court. …
The best and one and only is Burger Baron corn fritters. You absolutely cannot beat this. Always hot and crispy and best with either ketchup or red jam depending on what kind of mood you're in. Enjoy.......
Mall is open for salon and other small stores which do not have entry from outside. But if you wanna shop in Safeway, shoppers or wanna go in service Canada offices then there’s entry from outside mall only
I get good groceries at fresco. I like the fast food area But my favorite place is the Champion Hankook Taekwondo. Thanks to all masters that teaches with love and respect for students in this school
Went to the dentist at Melbourne mall the mall is nice and clean, Ever since they taken that pub out of there I recommend coming back All friendly staff and local stores are Still open some of them.
It's a very good place for spending the time because there is a big rest area with M/C Donal and other types restaurants there and with shoppers Drug Mart, TD Bank n also there Dayna Laboratory.
Tons of parking, good services like the medical lab and Services Canada, dental clinic, drug store and grocery store to name a few. Food court always smells amazing with various ethnic dishes.
The person at the lottery booth was on her phone and couldn't help me locate a store in the mall, the security was very helpful though. The lady who ran the sewing place was friendly! …
I was treated fairly until some staff seemed afraid and racist towards my young native apprentice. Perhaps a person should be judged by there actions and not by their physical appearance
Not a mall so much as a bunch of clinics and offices. Has a small food court, bank, and pharmacy and grocer. Otherwise there are no clothing or stores other wise. Maybe a jeweler, salon?
It's more of a strip mall than anything will not alot to do, but it's really easy when you live right across the street to the mall. Good place for food tho! Zacks donair is amazing
Now that Shoppers carried grocery items I've seen the neighboring Safeway store has picked up it's game. The mall could use some brighter lighting and a few new restaurants.
An alright mall to go to if you live in the area but the mall doesn't have any shops that makes you go out of your way to go there. Ample parking space is a positive.
I only go to use Shoppers Drugstore. Probably the most dangerous parking lot on the south side. Be prepared for near misses and watching others get hit by cars.
Good Mall for the area. Lots of surrounding establishments. Visited my Doctor at the adjacent building. Lots of schools in the area so speed limits bothersome.
Very quite mall. But shoppers drug mart here always has very good sale going on. Safeway has a fresh produce. You can buy pure gold from High Glow jwellers.
Absolutely third rate with a terrible food court. The food served is awful and I had to discard my order in full. The food seems unsafe and a health hazard.
Government services. Medical services and a small amount of convieient shops. Nothing trendy so it's a pretty low-key mall. Perfect for the neighborhood.
Pretty small place. Small food court. Nothing to write home about. Has some medical places and some mom n pop shops as well as a shoppers and fresh-co.
Mainly government services with a small food court, terrible parking with most stalls reserved for government and they do ticket and tow be careful!
I took my 1st aid safety ticket there. The mall has a food court and everyone is abiding by the wearing of masks. A safe place to relax and shop.
Went there to a Service Canada appointment. Places in the mall are a little crowded and the lines are long, but the overall experience is good.
Calm place with appropriate number of visitors. Nice place for kids to run and play around. All types of utility stores and services available.
Small market with Freshco, shoppers drug mart, few clinics, a Service Canada office, and a small food court with a few halal food shops …
Small clean mall. Food court looks nice. Legit came here for Canada service. Long wait times. Recommend you book ahead online to see an agent
Been going here for years, and just recently the security guard has been following my family around the mall & to any other store we go to.
Worst clinic ever, I phoned them to book an appointment the lady was so so rude she didn’t even listen properly she just hang up the phone.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see so many ethnic and internatonal food items in a shoppers drug mart. Good customer service as well
Kind of a sad, little mall. McDonalds left within the last few years. Not much going on other than a Freshco and Service Canada Centre.
It offers a variety of fast food restaurants. It has lot of other amenities and shopping choices as well. It has lot of parking space.
Place is not exciting at all. Barely any stores to shop. It's less a mall and more a collection of physically connected businesses.
This mall's fast food court have 2 Filipino turo-turo style menu. It also has an East Indian where I order my vegetable samosas.
This mall couldn't possibly get worse. Unless you spent 4 hours waiting at the service Canada center. The shoppers is aight?
Absolute dump. Food court is pathetic and if it wasn’t for Shoppers Drug Mart and Fresco I wouldn’t even enter this Mall.
Clean secured and lots of stores inside that can get you shop and spend easily couple hours there as well as a TD branch
Good mall, you have access to dynalife as well as service canada and there are doctors clinics in the mall and near by!
Mostly an office mall with a small food court but the food is very good there. Mall is clean and nice inside though.
I've never been fond of this area and especially this mall. If you need too pick up a couple things it will suffice.
Good Doctor Visit Experience! Friendly Doctor Office in Millbourne Market Mall. Excellent Service! Lots of Parking.
First time ever there and it was quite the drag to be honest. The peoe in service camada were friendly and helpful.
My experience in this area is awesome love Tim Hortons. All the best in 2023 may God bless us all in Jesus name Amen
Appears like an old age mall but food court is good. Shoppers at the mall holds quite attractive deals year round.
Not enough stores ! Lower the rent ! So people can open a business ! Some business is better than no business!
Visited with a dear friend I haven't seen for a couple years at least. And the Timmies' Coffee was great too.
It's convenient since shoppers drug mart is located withing the walking distance of service Canada
We only go here for Dynalife blood work. As for the mall, there isn't anything special about it
Needs a good dollar store but otherwise not bad. Lots of services but not much for shopping.
Too much panhandling there the employee at freshco are rude Disrespectful n unhelpful
Went there fir service canada and never took long to get done with what I needed
Kind of feels like going back in time but has a few of the basic necessities.
Mall is a little dead now a days, it does bring back some good memories tho
Convenient lots of parking a little less crowded then millwoods town center
Mall is undergoing some renovations. Pretty quiet while I was there.
Wonderful place and every thing you want you will find here
I'm in this place daily. All my shopping needs in one place
