Updating review as Miska has tried to remedy the situation. The following review still stands but I am impressed with their customer service. If you order an Aluminum landscape trailer, I would suggest insisting on 3/16” expanded and horizontal support bars to compliment the vertical bars on the gate. This would definitely solve the issues I had and the rest of the trailer is solid. I bought a small aluminum landscape trailer from Miska . The gate was very poor quality. The expanded on the gate was 1/8”, poorly welded and not welded at frequent contact points. If you stepped on, or ran the wheels of a machine on any part of the gate without a support beam the mesh just bent and cracked. Almost all the weld points were ripped off within a month and the entire sheet of expanded had to be replaced. I was only running small push mowers and 32” Walk mowers up this ramp and the trailer is “ commercial duty”. I emailed my salesman and he told me they only can get 1/8” expanded so I called Metal Supermarket and ordered a sheet of 3/16” expanded aluminum which I got in 2 days. The 3/16” is much more solid and I had it welded on locally along with additional vertical support beams at an additional cost of almost $600. The rest of the trailer was fine but the gate quality was unacceptable considering the light duty use and short period in which it was destroyed and the price paid. Those are zip ties holding the expanded on after a couple weeks of use. You could not even walk up the ramp without blowing off a weld or crushing the expanded. The final pic shows what I had to have done to the gate to fix the issues I was having. A support beam was added in between each of the existing support beams so the wheels of the mowers would always ride on a support. The expanded was also upgraded to 3/16”. The gate is very solid now and matches the rest of the trailer in durability. Just a quick update. I recently purchased an aluminum trailer from Action trailers and they use the thicker 3/16” expanded on the gate. I don’t understand why Miska uses the thin 1/8” expanded on an otherwise solid trailer.
My wife and I purchased a 31’x7.5’ snowmobile trailer from miska trailers May 23rd of 2018. I visited Miska the week prior to look at trailers for our upcoming cross country move, I dealt with Lewis and he showed me several trailers. I explained that we were moving in two weeks and traveling a large distance. We secured the trailer the next day and setup a hitch time the following week (May 23rd). I arrived early and was asked to pay promptly, I did and waited to be called out back. Once out back we hooked up the trailer and one of the yard staff checked my lights and told me I was good to go after signing their sheet. I took it upon myself to inspect the trailer before I left, I noticed a fair size damage to the rear passenger side of the trailer. After hours of back and forth I was told they would make it right and I took the trailer. After some more back and forth the next day it was left at miska arranging with stealth ( the manufacturer) to warranty the work once I was moved across country. Since then I haven’t heard from Paul (despite leaving voicemails) I reached out to stealth myself and now the production manager has been in contact with me. No plans have been put in place to fix the trailer and weeks go by with no word back from either party. The trailer still has not been fixed and in fact never made it all the way across the country. A panel started to come unglued and a tire blew due to an axle being placed incorrectly. I hired a 53’ tilt and load to deliver the trailer from where the tire blew in Quebec to our new home in PEI. I have many pictures of the trailer and all damage, bills, etc. Do your research before you spend any amount on an enclosed trailer. I hear their flat trailers are ok. Hi Kevin, just an update for you. My trailer and all of the expenses that we incurred during the failure of the trailer, have not been resolved to date (oct 10/18). Also I haven’t heard anything from miska for months now. Thanks for all your help.
Me and my husband did not have a good experience with miska trailers what so ever and the 2022 gd miska trailer that we bought from theme was suppose to be brand new. This is not the trailer we first seen! They switched the trailer to something else because there was not one bit of rust on the trailer we seen apart from on the sides where the bolts are and where the metal meets together there was rust i believe leaking from the sides. Since the first phone call to picking up the trailer it has been a complet disaster. Being pushed aside and Doug the salesman was trying to discuss how we run our business and how they run there's wich is none of there business. Paul is a complet nightmare told our finance gentleman off and threw our phone along with slamming his door. I was promised to pick up our trailer two days ago. We stayed at a hotel to even get the trailer that next day. Doug called me to yell at me and tell me that the deal was being canceled and that they were refunding us the money back. So I hung up and drove back home i have four children. I then got a call from a lady named Ashley stating I could come and pick up my trailer. Three days we drove back and forth from noelville to miska trailers. Not one time did they care that they were giving me the run around. The price of gas right now is ridiculous. They also tried to tell me that I had to go and pay and pick up the plates and pay for the gas again. So Unreal how they treated us. Not impressed at all. We got our trailer yesterday and we have not put anything in the trailer yet except for the ladders and a few other things so there is no way in one night it grew all this rust. Please do not buy anything from theme. It is not worth the heartache.
Good: (website & sales experience) Roughed Custom Trailers. Thanks to Jason Longley for accommodating a weekend pickup. Miska offered lots of custom options to tailor the trailer to my needs. They we're also helpful in addressing last minute changes to the trailers configuration. Not so good: (Quality control issues) - Flat tires: 3 out of 5 tires on the trailer were at 15 PSI upon pick up. (rated 65 PSI). - Delay: trailer build was completed 2 weeks later than scheduled. - Incorrect spec stickers on trailer: The incorrect spec stickers were placed on my trailer upon pickup. (Incorrect trailer GVWR/Axle rating). - Missing fasteners: Upon pickup the break away battery controller was secured by only 3 our of 4 screws. Also the break away activation switch was not secured at all (taped to the trailer frame). MAKE SURE TO THOROUHLY INSPECT YOUR TRAILER BEFORE PICKUP. Terrible: (Pickup experience) Upon pickup we had issues testing the trailer brakes. When we asked a technician to inspect the trailer they were immediately defensive and rude. The technicians acted arrogantly, not listening to our concerns and refused to troubleshoot the issue. Mean while other customers were being assisted with their trailer pickup and trailer issues. Finally after a manager was contacted, two different technicians offered to help. They successfully tested the brakes for us, confirming their proper functioning. It is disappointing that this good trailer was soured by a lack of Quality control and a poor Customer service experience.
I tend to do extensive research before making any major purchase. Wanted to cut out the middleman and go directly to the factory! Found some cheaper options but they seemed to be missing things, like a full floor. I came to the conclusion Miska Trailer Factory was the way to go. Right away Paul Burns was great to deal with. He set it all up, and I made the 5h drive to go get her. I Keep driving west and found this no start tundra at a garage in Gods country. Floated this baby 7h home and she pulled like a dream. Brake controller on the truck quit but that's a different story, snowstorm and all. The only advice I would have, is to spend some time looking at the available options. They are a lot cheaper than you think. If your going to build it, get exactly what you want!
I purchased a 7 ton contractor dump trailer from Miska trailers. During that same year I spent about $60,000 investing in tools for my business but this was the most important purchase I made bringing my business to a new level and freeing me logistically to transport supplies, float equipment, such as mini excavators, getting it easily on and off the trailer. you can easily save thousands of dollars a year in float fees with this trailer and not wait for delivery of construction materials or equipment. I’m now about to purchase my second trailer from Miska. I know it will take my business even further. Thank you for a great experience with your sales team and everybody in your office that made this purchase possible for me.
Our experience with Miska was less than enjoyable, at best. Our budget was $20k for an enclosed trailer and we were treated like we were unwanted, an annoyance. The girl at the front desk (I say girl because a "woman" doesn't act so immature) gave us attitude because we were asking questions. Then we dealt with "Doug" who couldn't have been any more disingenuous, nothing but sarcasm and irritation. We took our business elsewhere and happily spent $27k for what we were looking for, and we were treated as customers should be treated ... with kindness and genuine appreciation. The people we dealt with at Miska have no people skills and we completely wasted our time, there.
I bought my enclosed trailer at Miska Trailer Factory in November 2022. But shortly after my new pick up truck got stolen and I could not take delivery on the trailer as scheduled. It took almost 3 months to get a new truck. I have to say that all this time stuff from Miska Trailer Factory kept in touch with me and they stored the trailer till my situation got sorted out. From the first moment that I walked into the show room and inquired about the trailer till I picked it up there was no pressure, everyone was helpful and informative. And the price was great. Highly recommended.
Buyer Beware - my MISKA car hauler arrived but I discovered a problem --I'm unable to fully open up my truck tail gate. Option: swivel jack C$428. The General Sales Manaager from MISKA TRAILERS responded with this statement; MISKA Aluminum Car Haulers comes standard with the A-Frame JACK does NOT allow your truck tailgate to drop all the way down. The alternative JACK is the Fulton F2 Swivel Mount Jack (single or double wheel). These bolt on Jacks would allow you to remove the A-Frame Jack and install this swivel wheel jack priced from C$428. + tax + installation.
The whole process of purchasing a trailer was seamless. From the knowledgeable sales staff, to the wonderful ladies at the front desk, to the guys working at the back, it was an absolute pleasure. Special shout out to Billy for his extensive knowledge and willingness to help, to Ashley for her exceptional customer service, and Jayden and John for their expertise in getting us set up with the trailer. If you’re looking for a trailer Miska should be the only place to look! Will definitely be back for future purchases. Thank you to everyone once again!
I had a great experience with the purchase of my trailer. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am so happy with my trailer the fit and finish is beautiful. From the point of sale with Billy to the final payment and picking up the trailer I had no issues at all. So proud its all Canadian.!!!! I will be back to buy another trailer when the need for a larger one comes. This is a 5x8 it may not look like it but perfect for home owner needs and moving my lawn tractor. Thank you to all the folks at Miska.
I purchased a 5 ton dump trailer for my renovation company in January of 2017. I was very happy with the customer service I received at Miska and the quality of the trailer is second to none. I have two enclosed trailers from other manufacturers and I am looking at replacing them with Miska's. The dump trailer has almost paid for itself in the first year with the costs I've saved on disposal bins. I highly recommend Miska Trailers to anyone who is in the market for a trailer.
Brad in the sales department made my trailer purchase easy, fast and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The service guys that set my trailer up for me we awesome also. Took the time to answer all my questions and made sure everything perfect before I left the yard. I would highly recommend buying your next trailer from Miska Trailers. Thanks for the great experience. I will definitely be back for more trailers as my business grows.
Miska trailer is a professional , knowledgeable company. Listened to what my needs were and delivered. Billy Luscombe was great. He was busy and found time for me when i walked in. Girls at the front desk were very nice and asked me for help right away. I was impressed with how clean and organized the show room was. Billy went out of his way to find the trailer I was looking for when it couldn't be found. . I would recommend Miska to everyone.
Thanks to Paul Burns and all the Miska team. Paul helped my son choose the right trailer for his arborist business. He was very thorough in explaining the options on the trailer, got the order in, and had it ready within the committed timeframe. Love supporting Canadian business and Miska Trailers is an outstanding example of why that is. Great service and quality product.

I purchased a dump trailer last week from Miska trailers factory. The thing is an absolute gem and dumps like a beauty. I dealt with billy there and he was extremely helpful and able to help me out with such short notice. He’s the guy to ask for! I would recommend getting a trailer from there to anyone and everyone who needs one!
I recently purchased a Hercules trailer from Miska trailers. I would highly recommend to anyone that is considering the purchase of a new trailer, to look no further. Both the quality of the trailer and the sales and service delivered by Jason Longley are 5 star. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Sincerely, Larry Scott
Miska makes a great product and they back it up with exceptional service. My 5-ton dump trailer easily handles the wear and tear of the landscaping business I operate. The float trailer I purchased from a competitor has just been sitting in a field! Thanks to Jason, Kyle, Frank and the team at Miska for their quality service.
Everyone I dealt with at Miska was awesome. Steve, my sales person went above and beyond answering all my questions and giving updates on the process. The crew at the Dartmouth pickup location were super friendly and easy to get along with. They gave the run down on the trailer, insisted on helping me hook up to the trailer.
What a professional outfit! From the minute I found them on the web to the in person visit, they did not disappoint. Doug was an awesome sales person and we had our trailer made before the promised delivery date. Look no further than here if you want a quality, made in Canada trailer.
We purchased a Miska Open Car Hauler and it is fantastic. The quality and construction are fantastic. The low ride height makes loading and unloading a breeze. Out of all the trailers we own, this one tows the best. It’s so smooth and solid! I highly recommend Miska Trailer Factory!
Purchased a 16x7 Enclosed trailer from Miska in 2022. The process was easy and my trailer was ordered and delivered as expected. I had some minor warranty issues and although there were some challenges, Jason was able to help and resolve everything to our satisfaction.
Rick from the service department at Miska is amazing! He is always responsive, he prioritize appropriately and has a quick turn around time for all repairs and maintenance. Highly recommend Rick and the service team at Miska trailers for all your trailer needs.
Paul and the team at miska are excellent! We just purchased our 4th trailer from them. They manufactured and delivered the trailer before the expected pickup date and had great communication along the way! No question that they build the best trailers around.
Thank you to Paul from Miska Trailers for making things right on an Atv trailer we recently purchased. His customer service was way beyond our expectations and we were thrilled. I would definitely recommend Miska and would purchase from them again!
REVIEW NUMBER 2!!! After a bad dream a few years ago from Troys TOys, Miska put faith back in humanity- Billy got me set up with a new trailer... but that trailer was outgrown... so we needed an upgrade. Billy took his time to get all the

I just picked up my second trailer from miska , a 10 tonne dump trailer . I was lucky enough to be able to drive from Nova Scotia to the factory to pick it up . It was great to be able to meet the fine people from Miska . The service I
I purchased an aluminum 5' x 10' open trailer and am very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. It looks great. It is evident that pride in workmanship is a priority of the employees involved in it's production.
Great, customer service, Rick is very informative makes sure all aspects of the trailers are safe and in perfect operating condition. Just had our annual inspection, fair price and great service as always.
I bought a 16 foot enclosed trailer hee roughly 2 years ago. Brand new. Paid close to 20k at the time. And this is what's left of the hinges on the back ramp door. Thanks alot. Truly not happy customer
