Had to hire a pro to swap out our water shut off & flapper; also, to put in 8 hot cold supply line valves throughout a rental per condo bylaws. Booked Friday, showed up on time, clean and professionally friendly on Tuesday. Took about 30 mins for meet and greet, review of the work to be completed and quote. Signed off on the quote, everything was done in about 90 mins. Our Plumber, Jonathan, tested all lines throughout the condo, took before and after photos, went through the quote and what was completed. Done. Well, not quite done yet, Jonathan then proceeded to give me a “cool Dad” Mr. Rooter truck magnet for my 7 year old son. Gave it to him when I got home, “Wow, cool Dad, thanks!” Plumbers are like police, nobody ever wants to need them, but when you do, you’re sure glad they’re there! Jonathan, it was great chatting with you, thanks for making it look so easy! He even offered to teach me some tips and tricks… unfortunately bylaws-are-bylaws so I’ll have to save my new found knowledge for my own house. On top of all this, the Team Members (TM) booking the appointments are real!!! Like, they actually care, not AI, with personalities… real! I apologize for not recalling their names but it does give an opportunity for feedback, just to close the loop of great service. How about adding the first name of the Client Service TM at the end of confirmation texts? What a great way to boost Team morale and give them the praise they deserve. Mr. Rooter just completed sewer repairs and a liner for us. We were impressed by how good the customer service was and we were very happy with the high quality of work done. Sam and Josh were awesome! Their knowledge and expertise was outstanding. Sam came quickly to the rescue. We appreciated his patience and kindness. He took the time to explain everything and answered all of our questions. We learned a lot. Sam worked really hard clearing the line and he showed us with the camera. Josh joined and they put together a plan with options and quotes. Josh oversaw the rest of the work to the finish. Each person had their own specialized niche and that made the whole process very efficient. So many more people worked on this project, sorry we don't remember all their names, they were all excellent. We liked all the high tech tools, the Hydro Vac. and the liner system. It was also fast, the majority of the work was done in one day and then they came and put the liner in on the second day. Our experience was really good. Team just completed a sewer line replacement (and more). Very impressed with the many teams that were brought to the table to complete this work! Like watching a well choreographed dance! Excellent project management of all the trades and equipment. Appreciated the efforts of my Account Rep Josh who was pinged constantly with my questions. Very responsive and needed to tell him...answer during the work hours this will wait. All staff were great! I don't know all of their names but Jacob and Kane come to mind. Jacob toured the site with me at the end of one work day to show the new concrete and cleanup. Very conscientious (and endured by sense of humour) .I think he did some clean up on pre-existing smudges on my cabinet. Yes, my choice for replacement (vs liner) may have cost more but I stand by the decision. Me and the next homeowner will be trouble free! Let it flow! I discovered a gas leak in the laundry room while visiting my mom's house. ATCO gas came out and confirmed that there was a major gas leak. They don't fix the gas leak though and I needed to find someone asap to fix this. I called around and no one had any availability for the same day. When I called Mr. Rooter, I spoke to Erin, who was super polite and professional on the phone. She understood the situation and proceeded to put my on hold as she was determined to find someone come out asap. She booked Anthony M. to come out that afternoon. Anthony was great. He assessed the situation and fixed the pipe. Anthony left the space repaired and clean. He was very professional and hard working. Based on my experience with Mr. Rooter, I would highly recommend anyone choose them. It was a positive experience for a stressful situation that ended up resolved quickly because of these great employees at Mr. Rooter. I don't see this type of service very often. I called Mr.rooter on Sunday and had a great experience with their call centre a technician came out today (Tuesday) he was very professional and nice. I had a hole in the pipe and was quoted $617 dollars to fix. After a quick trip to Home Depot and $30 later I was able to replace the whole under cabinet assembly including p trap on my own. Seems to me the price quoted was substantially inflated. Update I did get a call from an owner or manager Chris I think his name was he did admit to be over quoted by 150 and offered to return the call out fee. I was impressed with the courtesy. He also mentioned that they are on the pricier end but that’s because you are paying for the tech and the work is guaranteed. If I had a major issue would definitely call them again but for little jobs Home Depot and you tube is my suggestion.

Contacted the HQ number to book an appointment to address a kitchen sink leak. Christina was very courteous and was able to book an appointment right away. The technician, Kyle B, arrived on time to diagnose my issue and offer multiple solutions at different price points. After selecting my option, Kyle got to work right away to correct the sink strainer issue and correct the piping to current code. Kyle was very professional, did not make any mess, cleaned up when completed and answered all my questions. The work was clean, piping well lined up, and even the minor details such as the strainer label being orientated towards the user were all addressed. Christina from Rooter HQ contacted me a few hours after the appointment to followup if there were any other issues. Great service and would use again.

Sam was amazing! He informed me of the procedure, options and cost along the way and invited me to go thru the process with him so that I could see where the clog was. In my case it was 74 feet out and multiple procedures failed to clear the line dispite the extensive efforts by Sam for. (This was due to the massive amount of sanitary wipes the previous owner had flushed) Sam was able to propose the third option and arranged to have it booked the next day even though they were fully booked to accommodate our vacation. Sam even offered to come in Saturday on his day off to make this work. Who goes that extra mile anymore!?! Excellent service and experience that far exceeded any expectation I had. Oh and did I mention, Sam kept my house clean throughout the process.

Last week I had a tech come look at my slow-draining kitchen sinks and wet bar sink. He did a cleaning of the lines and told me everything was draining well. I took his word for it but figured that night I would test them anyway (only a few hours after he left). One kitchen sink and bar sink drained in seconds. However, my other kitchen sink took over 10 minutes to fully drain. I called Mr.Rooter back the next day to let them redeem themselves. When they showed up today they wouldn’t even touch the sink unless I paid an additional couple hundred dollars. ***Edit: Spoke to the office to discuss this job. Apparently a communication issue resulted in the tech understanding I didn’t need the basement kitchen sink branch cleaned out and therefore it didn’t get done.

Mr. Rooter had cleaned the line for the main floor and basement kitchens with a commercial jetter. I tested the basement kitchenette sink by repeatedly filling it a few inches and draining it. About 2 months later, tried draining basement sink with significantly more water, but noticed slow draining. Mr. Rooter sent Matt out to take a look. He used a camera downstream of the kitchen line and noticed trickle flow. Kitchen line was cleaned with portable jetter until jetter water ran clear. Able to drain full sink of water afterwards with no noticeable slowing in drainage. Incidentally, he noticed a leaking adapter on the P-trap, and he replaced that. 3-month no-clog guarantee was honoured. Would have been a 5-star review if a callback had not been necessary.

Had Mr.Rooter in to clear a floor drain in the basement. We thought it was just a little clogged. After repeated tries, they put a camera down the drain only to find that our sewer drain had collapsed requiring major repair. Their office handled everything with our insurance company, making that part painless. The guys that came to do the work were awesome! Super friendly and professional. Between the excavation required outside,and the concrete cutting/removal inside, their work was top notch. They patched everything up when they were done,leaving no mess at all. Aside from the obvious inconvenience of having to have the work done, the whole experience was great. I would recommend them to anyone.

From the first call to the final clean up and inspection everything was excellent. Each person we dealt with at Mr Rooter was cheerful, friendly and helpful. After my initial call Jason was sent the same day. He diagnosed the problem and showed us a video to illustrate the issue. He brought in Christian who did a great job explaining the problem in detail and suggested a number of possible solutions. A few days later Jonathan and his team arrived to begin the work. Did a wonderful job and he was very considerate in warning us ahead of time about noisey periods, water shut off and time lines. Kept dust out of the main floors of the house and a good clean up. I would recommend Mr Rooter to anyone.

I was able to get an appointment for service the same day I called, in fact within a couple of hours of calling. I was able to track the technician to know exactly when he would arrive, and I also appreciated receiving the technician’s photo to know who to expect at my door. Kyle was very friendly, professional, and positive. He presented several options, explained each and was happy to answer questions. The work was completed efficiently, including the very prompt arrival of a second technician, and everything was left looking clean and tidy. Outside of a bill that was a little higher than I had hoped, I was very satisfied with the service I received.

I had Curtis Hebert from Mr. Rooter give us an in home quote to replace our old 50 gallon natural gas power direct vent hot water tank. Together we set up an appointment that worked for me and my family to get it swapped out. He returned on the day at the exact time we agreed upon. He removed the old tank and installed our new one. It worked out perfectly. He was fast, polite, professional, clean and his customer service was impeccable. We are glad to have a new hot water tank that works flawlessly. It was our first time using Mr. Rooter for any service and I can say with certainty it will not be our last.

Roped us in with a pricey 'diagnostic fee' that doesn't get paid if you allow them to do the repair. Charged us 1200$ to change a tub faucet. If we weren't in the pickle we were in, I would have had it done by someone more affordable. Spoke to a few shops and asked how much they would charge to do the job and a few quoted HALF of what Mr. ROOTER charged. Be smarter than I and do your homework so you don't get ripped off. The repair has held so far, so one star for that... but that's it. Edit: plumber was a nice guy, but kept calling someone more experienced as he didn't seem to know what he was doing.

We had a clogged toilet and phoned and Mr.Rooter was able to send out a technician in less than two hours. Our technician Brandon C. addressed our problem and also advised us on replacing our aging toilets. Upon inspecting our home he also noticed our hot water tank was not doing well. He was able to provide us with a quote to replace the toilets and hot water tank and was even able to come in the next day and replace all of those . He was very professional and punctual and we would definitely call again if we ever have plumbing needs in the future . Highly recommend !

The Mr Rooter team came to our twice this summer for two separate issues. Both time the team was led by Curtis Herbert. He is a real pro and we were very pleased with his professional service. The first issue was a sewer smell emanating from the basement which required a segment of 70 year old sewer pipe to be replaced. The work was done in 2 days by Curtis, Johnathon, Jordan and Jacob. The new pipe was installed, the basement floor repaired and all is well. Next, Curtis and Darius installed a new Koehler toilet. Again, a very professional job. Thanks to them all.

They were quick to discover the problem... tree roots. They made some suggestions to alleviate the problem. After the hydro-scrub the more serious problem of a collapsed pipe section was apparent. After another technician arrived they reviewed the situation, and a plan to resolve the problem was made. I agreed to the quote and the next day a crew of 4 showed up and solved it in about 3 hours. I can sleep easy once again knowing a back up isn't likely anymore. They all were friendly and very professional. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter.

I recently purchased a condo and already found myself with several plumbing issues - some being more pressing than others. Kyle B was very helpful in breaking down all the options we had with exact quotes for everything, so I was able to pick what I was comfortable with getting done right now, and what to plan for in the near future. He got my kitchen sink draining again and replaced both bathroom faucets. Very happy with the service he provided and how friendly and understanding he was. The company as a whole seems very professionally run.

The time wasn't right for me to officially hired Mr. Rooter yet, but while dealing with a home disaster, Matt from Mr. Rooter came and provided me a quote and explained alot of things in detailed to me. Matt and his partner were extremely friendly and respectful, and you can tell they were trying to help resolving any issues. Their receptionist that answered the call was also very knowledgeable (sorry I didn't catch her name). I would definitely hire them to do any required job, and would most definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Ty showed up right at the time we were told he'd be coming. From the moment he arrived he was friendly, professional and prepared. He clearly explained likely scenarios from best to worst case and the estimates for each. Jayden the plumbing technician was absolutely wonderful. Our home helps take care of cancer patients and he took the time to be extremely thorough to do everything he could to make sure he could fix the problem, cost-effectively and so it would work perfectly. He was an extremely kind and considerate technician. Was a good reminder of what is good in this world and honest, trustworthy service. I know he is only one employee of Mr. Rooter but if the company hires individuals like this, then I’m a huge fan of Mr. Rooter.

Had major invasive 'surgery' done on my sewer line - all old cast iron lines from the 50s changed out and the pipe to the city line replaced with a pipe burst procedure. Caine and his crew were incredibly efficient and professional and took the time to explain what they were doing and answer all my questions. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone - it is expensive and messy and disruptive...but if you have to have it done, get Caine and the Mr. Rooter team to help you out - they were fantastic with a capital F.

We live in a pretty old house with some pretty old plumbing - we got a block in our drain that ended up making our dishwasher back up into our bathtub. I reached out to Mr. Rooter and they were able to have someone come out that day to look at it. We had Kyle come by and he was fantastic - super transparent about everything and super quick too. Overall just a very nice guy and so willing to help out and figure out what you need and what works best for your house. Will absolutely use Mr.Rooter again in the future!

Friendly service (dudes name was Austin… good people, 49ers fan excellent choice in NFL squads), they were able to quickly diagnose the issue and went above and beyond to capture another potential future problem that we’re able to deal with now. I like that it was proactive and the use of the camera gives one comfort as we can see these problems (yuck lol). 10 outta 10 would use again and probably shortly for some other business that was less urgent but should be given some attention in the new year

Found water in basement at 630 am.. Sent online service request at 745 for sump pump repair/replacement.. Was contacted by someone at Mr. Rooter by 755.. Had someone here by 830am.. Sump pump completely replaced and job done by 930am.. 3 hours from time I found water to the time the sump pump was replaced... Absolutely Blown away at the response time!! Curtis was super friendly and knowledgeable... performed the work incredibly quickly... Will absolutely use Mr. Rooter again for any plumbing needs!

Michelle in reception/booking office was so great! She was professional, kind and understood exactly what I needed, which was complicated by the fact that my tenant needed help at his apartment. We had a sewer backup and called Michelle at Mr. Rooter. She was polite and helpful and set up a visit from Ryan on the same day. He arrived on time, corrected the backup and advised us of options to prevent further trouble. He came back with Jetter and performed a high pressure cleaning of our pipes. Called Mr. Rooter for a wall mounted toilet that was not flushing as we thought it was plugged. The Plumber gave us quote to snake it out which ended up not being the issue. Fine, but then he gave us a quote to remove the toilet, which turns out was unnecessary. After reaching out with my concerns, Chris at Mr. Rooter called me back and dealt with the issue in a very professional manner. Very pleased that when things went wrong they stood behind their work and made things right.

Had a very bad grease buildup in kitchen drain line. Kyle showed up and cleared out the entire line with a high pressure gadget. Kyle wasn’t happy until there was 100% water flow back through the drain. He stayed later to make sure he cleared every bit of the entire blockage. I’m very happy with the result and the my drain is working perfectly again. Mr rooter definitely helped so much and I’d recommend their service to anyone in need of a good thorough plumbing service.

I had a very badly clogged sink drain. I was able to schedule a same day appointment. Francisco was the plumber who showed up. After an initial assessment we discussed several options and prices. We were having some concerns with a smell coming from under our sink & garburator - I called Mr. Rooter on a Thursday at 12pm, spoke to the most pleasant & upbeat receptionist (Dawn) who was able to get a technician over to our place within the next half hour. Our technician was very professional, gave us 3 very fair quotes and had the job done in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family.

We had Mr. Rooter visit to fix our toilet. Replace the stop valve and the toilet base seal. The service technician tried to sell us on a new toilet to replace one that didn't need replacing. Then tried to sell us on a new water heater, softener, and accessories. The water heater was fine, and it would have cost us $2200 for us to replace for no reason. Premium service at a premium price we were told, multiple times.

Called about plugged toilet in sons apartment. Left my own home to go to apartment. Took me 1/2 hr. Jason was already at site, quickly assessed what was required and fixed problem. Very pleasant . Explained everything he was doing, and informed me of cost of fix depending on how he would have to fix it. Asked if any other problems he could help with while he was here! Cleaned up his tools and area before leaving.

The young man who installed a new toilet in our apartment was professional, punctual, and knowledgable. Wednesday September 6th between noon and 2 pm, I forget his name! I lost my keys that day and ended up calling asking if he had grabbed them by accident, the receptionist was very helpful, I did find my keys, and now feel horrible and hope he doesn’t think I was accusing him in any way! Technician Sam L. from Mr. Rooter came by today right on time. Good communication from their dispatch. Used a Camera to the clogged basement line and was able to clean out the line. Had a plumber out a couple days earlier from a different company and they were not able to remedy the problem. Also had him install the new toilet quickly. Mr. Rooter will be my first call for any future plumbing issues!

Jason was super kind, and professional. Nobody makes an emergency plumber call because they’re having the best day but it was a positive experience! He quickly figured out what was wrong, offered me different solutions with transparent pricing and resolved the problem on the first try. Edit: someone from the company contacted me and refunded me $250. There was a training issue with the people who came. The guys were nice and friendly but $500 to snake a tub drain and they were there for 30 minutes is robbery. I asked about prices before they came and they said it’s based on the situation. Will hire an hourly plumber next time I need one.

The day started with water by the washing machine. We were unable to find the cause or get rid of it so called Mr. Rooter. Ryan came out on a Sunday and had us fixed up within the hour! He explained everything he was doing and was very professional and respectful. He was great and we are so grateful for his assistance yesterday. Thank you Ryan so much!

Excellent experience. Scheduled very rapidly from the time I called. Very knowledgeable and professional technicians. Took the time to get the job done right. Cleaned up beautifully afterwards. My only criticism is that it was more money than I was expecting to have to pay, and that was with my having chosen the lowest of three options they presented.

Our shower nozzle was malfunctioning so we called Mr. Rooter (I keep hearing their funny commercials on the radio) and Mr. Kyle Bobby showed up the very next day, He was very professional, friendly, clean and told us the issues and our options right up front. The tech/plumber was awesome very knowledgeable kind and took his time never rushed through anything and he explained everything the call I made to them was handled politely they tried to accommodate me earlier but I had other things on the go and when I freed up my time they came over fixed not only the plumbing issues but went over and beyond

We have used Mr Rooter numerous times over the years, including installation of a water softener. Today Kyle Boddy from Mr. Rooter came to check a possible leak in our hose bib. Kyle check thoroughly and determined this was not the source of our water issues. He was great and did not charge us. Great company and would highly recommend!

We had a leak under the utility sink, due to some questionable home renovations, previous to our purchase of the home. Sam L. the tech that came in, was amazing. Assessed the issue, came up with several different options for fixing it. And was able to fix the leaking pipe same day. 100% would recommend if you are having any issues.

I was given a text message when the plumber was on his way, which showed a photo the plumber and provided helpful information. Called Mr. Rooter today after EPCOR Flood Prevention Inspection identified a drainage problem. A service technician arrived within a half hour and within another 2 hours the second technician arrived and the tree roots were blasted with water and the drain was cleared. Pleasant professional service technicians got the job done.

Your technician did an excellent job using a camera and flex drive to ensure that the main was cleared of the roots that had caused the blockage. I was able to see what was being done on a secondary screen. It took many attempts to get all the roots and obviously the technician was determined to do the job right!

Service … using a snake to get a rag that was flushed down the toilet ..was super fast, friendly and effective. Done in 20 minutes. The minimum fee was much pricier than much usual plumber … easily twice as expensive .. so I advise price sensitive clients to do some shopping. At least it’s done. That is a plus.

Brandon came to fix a clogged drain. He was very professional and friendly. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. He gave us tips on how to prevent a future issue! I feel confident in the work he did. If we end up with another plumbing issue I will definitely call Mr rooter again.

Fransico walked me through all the procedures, results and gave many helpful suggestions for future care. He also without being asked provided me a "senior" discount.

Hot water tank sprung a leak and needed to be replaced. They were fast to send someone out to inspect, and had a crew available to do the work the following morning. Has a softener installed as well during the process. Brandon, Kain and Jordan were all excellent to speak and work with.
