Ostensibly UK-equivalent school aiming to prepare students for "leadership" but not really following through. Teachers are trying their best with world-class curriculum but the combination of disorganization and Burmese workplace culture makes for poor student experience. Academic integrity, critical thinking, and English language are afterthoughts. Most students don't understand this because they're young/inexperienced teenagers who are accustomed to even worse schools. Getting basic information about upcoming term schedules takes weeks; assignment grading takes 2-3 months after each term. It doesn't really feel like an institution because everyone is making things up at they go along. *This is the case for full-time undergraduate programs. Can't speak for the MBA program, though, maybe students have a better experience in those final years.

Myanmar Imperial University is the first private university in Myanmar. The teaching of teachers at the school are really good and the staff is also kind and friendly. It's a place where you can do what you want to do in the long run. This location has a great set of people, they are wonderful and sweet and always working hard. Thank You!! MIU.
