Customer service (negative 5) Manager and new young cashiers lack customer service. Inapt at conducting menial tasks. You will never get an apology when a big financial mistake is made on their end. You can have evidence of their financial mistake and they will attempt to brush it under the rug. National Bank Customer Service Call Centre You can call the National Bank customer service hotline but they will never call you back regarding your complaint. Location (+ 3) Only location in central Hamilton. Parking is located on the back of the building. Traffic turning onto Vine Street from James St can take a while. Wait times (+3) There is never a line-up to be tended by a cashier. The bank is never busy. Overview Do not bank at this location. Take your business elsewhere. I will not bother to find out if their customer service has improved because simply it will not due to poor management and training at this location.

Hi I've always found the tellers extremely helpful and dedicated to the safety and well being of the customers. I've been with them since long before they moved to James Street North. Love the new location due to the fact it is closer to my house. The only issue I have is with the online banking side of things. Now more than ever it is important to be able to send and receive transfers and just be able to check my balance however I continue to have issues signing in, transfering funds or receiving money from family members ect. Currently I am unable to even sign into my personal account coupled with the new closing time of 2pm makes it very frustrating to be able to get things done.

Just like to state that one of your advisors, Fabrizio was fantastic. He went above and beyond my expectations and was able to get done what needed to be in a super productive way! He gave me his professional opinion on the options I had and I am super thankful for listening to what he suggested. Customer service was over the top. Employees like Fabrizio is what drives the repeat customer to come back. I will for sure be coming back to national bank for a mortgage just because of the way he provides service to me! Much appreciated! The tellers were also amazing and super helpful.

I been banking here since they were at no frills plaza as I did security at the plaza. They were good but moved to new location. Such a bad bank. The hours are the worse. 1 day it's open to 5 and closed on weekends even the Atms are closed. It stupid. at least put an ATM outside of bank at least. Like geesh. Thank god I am now with tangerine. Great bank no problems and they have no fees. Plus they have debit Visa. I mean every bank has debit Visa all accept NATIONAL BANK like seriously. This bank so behind on times . Sad

I'm a bit of a inpatient person and on few occasions been in hurry and we'll inpatient.. I was but the girls there took care of my issues fast and had me on my way if anything it was me that was the only problem im fairly new to this bank but hold a mortgage with them i find in most cases them to be fast and professional and thank them for there help I'm not the most organized person but they can make sense of what I'm looking to do thank you all

My experience with National bank is that they are not professional only one lady that’s young works there or use to idk but she is very kind and understanding but others gets frustrated and gives dirty attitude and be like I’m trying to help you maim , I’m student, and I will never go back to that bank I love Scotia bank! Great bank and very kind people!

The worst bank ever 2 times hold my card for no reason i had to send money to my son's birthday i could not do that because they blocked my card i called the number they said the branch put hold on your card and it's holiday now I'm pissed and my son is pissed screw National Bank. Please open account in different bank

I was here to open new account but people who provided appointment have no regards to your time. 12 :30 appointment and at 12 45 I was treated like they are doing favors to customer/me. What a joke this bank is !! No wonder it's still where it is !! You survived because of no competition in Canada

Satisfied customer, have been with them for 9 yrs since I relocated to Hamilton, ON. They offer great customer service, and often willing to seek answers for any financial issues in regards to bill payments, pre-authorized payments scheduling and various other options.
