I ordered a jumpsuit and it was too big.. I panicked as needed it to wear in the same day. I search and went by reviews, and chose to use this dry cleaners. I rang but wasn't sure it could happened as such short notice; they were quite positive and asked me to come in so they could let me know. Immediately I felt welcome, the lady started pinning on me...afterwards she said when would you like.. I replied 3pm..by now it was like 12:40. I must say..they prioritise me and this was my first time there. I was so happy as I really wanted to wear my beautiful orange jumpsuit. I will definitely start using this cleaners; yep I got my local ones but the point thry made me feel very special. Thanks alot mother..not sure of her name. You did an amazing job. Exceeds Expectations At Every Level. Anyone that knows me will be aware that my wardrobe is all ‘colourfull’ I had a number of items that needed repairs and alteration – a number of gender specific female jammers needed a much LOWER waistline – patchwork jeans that needed loads more patches – some ‘OUT’fits that required rear opening – flowered jeans that had been ripped open when I broke my right ankle in two places just before Christmas – and a sheer bodysuit outfit which had been custom made needed to be more revealing. I was DELIGHTED with the repairs and alterations – perfected swiftly and at a very reasonable price. See the photos for some of the items described. Also I had some delicate items that had become quite soiled, another local dry cleaner had effected a so so ‘clean’ Nunhead Dry Cleaners did a terrific dry clean. All the staff are always so cheerful and always put a smile on my face. For sure I will be returning in the future!

Gave these people an expensive length of material to make a curtain for my living room. Despite all measurements being clearly stated, they bodged the job not just once but twice, first making the curain back to front and then mismatching the fabric and making it 11cm too short! Admitting that they'd made mistakes, they then wanted a third attempt which would involve cobbling something together out of leftover material and reducing the hems in the curtain. I asked for my money back - not a small sum for a pensioner - but they have failed to give me a single penny of the hundreds owed, even though this is in contravention of Consumer Law. So despite the charming manners and the friendly demeanour, I'm obliged to conclude that they are unscrupulous traders who don't give a toss either about me or their legal obligations.

Dry Cleaning - Genuinely the best place we’ve had our stuff done. Pillows came back super clean and fluffy, would highly recommend. Tailoring - We got some stuff tailored here and honestly it was just alright. I asked for some holes sewing up in some trousers and they just outright didn’t do them. I couldn’t be bothered going back and mentioning it, but I definitely wouldn’t take stuff here again. Even the bits they did weren’t great. Bit of a tail of two halves annoyingly!

Very reasonable prices, exceptionally friendly staff, and truly great work. I brought in my favourite cashmere jumper to see if it could be salvaged after I'd worn holes into the elbows. Despite large holes and a very delicate knit, they worked magic and made it wearable again. Also, when I brought in a large order of winter wear in Spring, they folded and packaged everything for neat storage and moth protection. Would give 10 stars if I could.

As a non reviewer it takes something rather special to put fingers to keyboard but I wanted to thank you for bringing a well partied wedding dress back to new. I’m absolutely amazed after 4 years in a crumpled heap in the basement that it looks so perfect, it’s such a shame it’s got no where to go!! Incredible! Thank you!! Top quality cleaning and alterations. I took my wedding dress in for some last minute alterations 4 days before my wedding day and the team were happy to help. Brought in a second hand puffer jacket that had definitely seen better days. It was clear from the start that it was gonna be in the right hands, the staff is super friendly and professional. The jacket was ready exactly by the time they said it would and it looks immaculate. Couldn't be happier!

Hard to find such friendly service at reasonable prices. They have a 5 shirts for £10 deal. I feel like my clothes are in good care when I leave them here. I had a knit pullover which I was going to just keep to wearing at home or bin however they managed to repair it along with the dry clean.

I can't get over how great their repairs are. I took in a pair of wool suit trousers that were covered in tens of moth holes. Picked them up today and they are as good as new - you would have to look very hard to know where the holes ever were. And all at a fair price with lovely service.

I live in Sweden and still bring my dry cleaning here when we visit because it’s that good! They’re really quick, friendly and get rid of stains that other dry cleaners have never managed to clean. They even fold and pack the shirts up so nicely that it feels like they’re brand new

Fantastic, friendly local dry cleaner who I've used over the past few years for dry cleaning, stain removal and fixing broken zips/ lost buttons. Always perfect service, and always feel comfortable bringing more expensive items to them because I know they'll be handled with care!

Couldn’t recommend more! I recently took a heavy winter coat to be dry cleaned here and it honestly looks brand new. Such quick service and very reasonably priced, and they even fixed the inner pocket lining and tightened the buttons for a (very small) fee. Brilliant

Great service! Took some winter coats to be dry cleaned and some trousers which needed zipper replaced. All came back looking new and well cared for. Just sorry all the beautiful work had to be folded to fit into my bike bags... Very much appreciated!

Not good service. Safe for regular items, but don't take here anything valuable. The staff don't know how to deal with repair errors and try to hide mistakes from the costumer. I don't recommend.
