This sports bar is spacious and CLEAN! Once inside, it was warm and didn’t have the typical beer soaked bar top smell, which so many old bars have. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The basics: this bar is not trendy; the crowd is mixed. BUT...The tap beer is $4 on Tuesdays after 7pm; plenty choices. Lots of TVs, perfect for watching sports. I got a dirty martini and it was perfect. I know it’s sounds like not a big deal, but I’ve got my shares of bad dirty martinis. The burger is also really good, the bun stays firm and the cheese did not cost $$, which seems to be the trend nowadays. It is a tasty, high quality American burger with pickles, onion, a leaf of lettuce and your choice of cheese for $11, what’s not to like? The sweet potatoes fries were fried just right. Food is NOT greasy! They have top shelf whiskey, Macallan galore and other similar whiskeys. This bar is better than a lot of bars and does not deserve 3.5 stars, so if you are in the neighborhood, stop by! We are fans!
My friend and I stopped by for a quick bite yesterday. We were seated very quick, it wasnt crowded there was only 4 tables in use. Our waitress was polite but lacked communication and follow up skills. She only checked on us when we raised our hand to get her attention. I order the hot pretzels as an appetizer and she said they were out. Instead I ordered the spinach & artichoke dip, my friend order Mozzarella sticks and a club sandwich. Abt 15 mins later she bring out my friends food and then tells me I was just made aware we're out of the spinach dip. Something she should have know when place our order. We ordered the Flirtini for drink but there were our of the raspberry syrup which they substituted for cherry. Finally I received my Cobb salad, which was pretty good. We had to get our waitress attention several times to get a second drink and water. The food was decent but not worth what we paid and our waitress needs better social/communication skills. I won't be back ever again.
This place was in Brooklyn, but the area was so beautiful and quiet. The bar itself is a semi small place, nice ambience, good music, great atmosphere. everyone there seemed pretty chill. My server; she was very attentive and helpful. Me and my spouse ended up ordering the 12oz steak which came with whipped mash potato's and garlic green beans. Delicious!!!! We also ordered the fried calamari which was so so delicious the marinara sauce was sweet. Last item we ordered was the nachos, despite coming with 3 sauces, (salsa, gauc, and sour cream) I wish the containers were a little bigger in proportion. Other than that, I would deff come back here again.

I will never go here again. I was charged for a drink that was not mine. When I tried to talk to the staff (my server Jane, Taylor the bartender, and a male bartender) on June 16, 2023 around 7 pm, I was called a liar and said I had to pay for the drink. The male bartender threatened to call the cops on me because I was explaining to them this drink wasn’t mine and said how embarrassing that would be for me. I asked them to pull cameras to show proof that that drink was not served to me. They refused to pull the cameras and instead called me a liar and said I’m never allowed back. This was such a traumatizing and terrible experience. I don’t recommend going. This is not the first time something like this has happened at this bar. Save your money!

Mostly a nice local bar, where Board of Ed, ADA's, &neighborhood locals gather. A sports bar, so depending on the game(s), can get crowded. Most of the bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly, & able. The food is consistent pub-grub & some good specials.

Friendly, laid back, unpretentious neighborhood sports bar. Lena and India are great servers - friendly and very good at their jobs. Great selection of beers on tap. Place seems to attract a number of regulars. Food menu includes pretty wide variety of typical bar food, but quality is better than bar food. The Court Street Salad is amazingly delicious! Also tried the buffalo calamari which was generously portioned and good. Many TVs with sports on as to be expected . Two story place, second story has a few tables and the kitchen most seating on ground floor. Staff get plenty of exercise going up and down the stairs from the kitchen. I plan to return soon and perhaps try the Catfiah Po’boy - O’Keefe’s has a very welcoming environment.
After a morning and late afternoon of slogging through the streets of downtown Brooklyn, it was enjoyable to step into a place that's as comfortable as an old pair of jeans . Broken in and fits just right. The very same can be said about O'Keefe's Bar & Grill, it does not pretend to be something that it's not. With simple, decent cuisine which is relatable and good drink options this establishment has maintained their WINNING formula. So whenever you find yourself amongst the canyons of Downtown Brooklyn, make your way over to Court Street, step into O'Keefe's, and take a load off. Trust me you'll be glad that you did.

I tried to go here one Tuesday evening but it was packed, so I didn't truly get to experience O'Keefe's until a Sunday afternoon when it was pretty much empty. Despite a rough start (my bartender forgot about my beer for 10 minutes until I reminded her, twice), we had great grilled chicken sandwiches that were served with what I think are Ore Ida seasoned fries, so you know it was good. They have at least 15 beers on tap, which means there's something for everyone. The bathrooms were clean, albeit a bit too sweet-smelling for me, but an overall positive experience. (I seem to reference bathrooms a lot since I've been horrified in the past). I'd definitely return!
This is my hidden gem for a great ribeye steak dinner. It comes with mash potatoes, steamed veggies & side salad with a delicious vinaigrette. Nice spacious location with lots of TVs and a long bar serving great drinks. Great for groups to hang or watch sports. Fun place.

The waitress puts in our food order and another round of drinks. 45 minutes it never comes. I cancel the order becasue it was time to leave. She apologized and said the rounds on her. Brings the drinks and says next round is on her. I decided to stay and finish my drink. Ask her for that free round. She begins to say how I already had it. Brings the check and suggested I drank more then I did. She brought the wrong shot the last time and said they where out. I’m sitting at the bar and the bar tender is pouring what I asked for. Unbelievable. Hire better staff. Dude was fine though
Arrived for a spontaneous party, not sure how many people would come. Jane was amazingly nice and set us up with a private room upstairs...We wound up with over 40 people. The food was delicious and served exactly as we asked for it. The atmosphere was perfect for this kind of party.I don't think the service could have been better. This was my 2nd time at O'Keefe's. Last time was just a quiet dinner with a friend.

I ordered the Burger with waffle fries and the Cajun chicken with waffle fries as well as calamari. The amount of calamari they give you is not worth the $12.95. On top of that it was not seasoned well very tasteless and the red sauce it came with was horrible. It tasted like water with a hint of tomato. The Cajun chicken tasted more like blackened chicken. The waffle fries and bread were soggy. As well as the waffle fries to the burger. The burger was really good. Juicy, flavorful not over cooked and a nice decent portion. If you want to eat from here get the burger.
Love everything about this place, been going here probably over 11 or 12+ years now! It's my go to for any type of meals (healthy and that little extra) from entrees, to burgers, three dif types of fries, appetizers to even salads. They have a mix of different alcoholic drinks and frozen as well! I must say, they do have the biggest most enjoyable salad I have ever had with loads of variety that never disappoint..! My other favourite is there mozzarella sticks, that cheese is amazing, no place can ever compare too, a must have if there! 5+ stars all the way!!!
Very spacious area, the staff was alert, check checking on us and made sure to get order out just as we put in which is always a PLUS! In the downtown Brooklyn area but away from all the hustle and bustle of Downtown if that makes sense! Drinks were very potent lol, Patron Margarita very effective, even though at first sip it didn't seem like it. Location is phenomenal, across from Its Sugar candy shop, a major plus for me. Nice calm atmosphere, everyone employed here is so very polite, and welcoming... Definitely look forward to going back!
I asked kindly for a specific sandwich wrap order to go. It took a little longer than I was told. Not only was the food overPriced, but it was made entirely wrong and the man that answered the phone was a bit rude. He offered me to come back a different day but I Won’t be coming back here, and if this was my business I would conduct it very differently because it’s supposed to be about customer care. I didn’t take the offer of a refund because I was beyond upset and ultimately felt bad for the way this was conducted.
I'm not sure why, but the ownership seems to just throw random women behind the bar to work for the sake of them being women. Most of them are completely oblivious as to how to make cocktails, let alone have interpersonal skills to interact with customers. Simply put, everyone is an Ana or an Olga. Staffing is a major issue here and the lack of diversity is apparent. Also, stay away from the food. I've gotten sick twice after eating here. I seriously doubt they are storing their proteins between 38-42 degrees.
I stopped in on a Monday night for a quick bite. I've been here before and it's your pretty typical wannabe Irish bar. As it was Monday night they had a decent $4 pint special as well as $.50 wings. The wings were pretty good, especially for $.50 each. They were cooked well and a decent size, sometimes places with inexpensive wing specials give you these tiny baby wings. I'd probably go back for cheap wings again if I was in the area but otherwise there's nothing really special about this place.
I like coming by at lunch time. IMO, the music is louder than I'd prefer, but it's usually a good selection. This is sort of a sports bar, so I avoid those times like the plague. The staff is wonderful and the food, while fairly standard fare, is pretty good. This is largely a lawyer hangout during weekdays, so I have had some pretty interesting conversations here (I'm not a lawyer but I am a geek and am very interested in that stuff).

Always a great place to watch a sporting event or just drop in too have a COLD beer. Food is good along with the staff. Sometimes it's just good to know that there an old fashion bar to still have a good time. Watch a game, bring the family, have a seat at the bar and have a conversation all the above.

Love coming here on Friday nights. The bartenders are really nice and the drinks are delicious. I usually sit at the bar so I don't order much food besides the wings. The wings are so good though, I order the medium buffalo and its just the right amount of hot. A fun bar to go after work for a few drinks and to meet up with friends.

It's like stepping out of the neighborhood into a sports bar set. The food is so so, draft beer is a bit off, and the mood overall is loud bar with too many TVs. Nothing much wrong with it if that's what you're looking for but you can do a lot better in Brooklyn.

The best place in Downtown Brooklyn @ I've tried almost everything on their extensive menu. Everything is of superior quality at a great price! Although the sign says "Bar and,Grill". To me, it's a restaurant with a sports bar, which I also enjoy. I pray for your return. You are an Institution in this neighborhood. God Bless. God Speed! Frankie,Marty and Edna. You know my pups too.
I come to this bar often and it’s a nice place to be and have fun but Courtney makes your night more than fun. Her personality, and the way she makes you feel welcome you won’t wanna go home. Courtney is the girl to see if you wish to have a good night and go home feeling nice. Courtney love you and I come because of you.

I don't know what it was about today but the wings weren't that great. They weren't fried as crispy and got soggy really fast. The mild sauce was a little off as well. Tried the artichoke dip nachos and calamari. They were good. Needed a little salt but nothing much. Ill still come back because the first time was just sooo good. Everyone is entitled to an off day right?
This is a great after work place to get drinks and bar food. It's my go to spot when I need a drink and it's very close to my job.

Terrible service. Ordered a drink and wings from the waitress and she forgot both. She came back 15 minutes later and asked if I needed anything. I asked for my drink and wings. Eventually got my drink but never got my wings. Walked out after finishing my drink. Thanks O’Keefe’s for the free drink although not much of a business model.
I ventured into this bar after about 8 years. The place is cleaner than what I remembered however the service is definitely not up to par. I sat at a table for well over 30 minutes before anyone noticed my group. If you are looking for a quick lunch expect to be late going back to your office if you work around there.

one of the best bars in the area. they have it all: good bar food, authentic sports bar bathroom, chill atmosphere, and weekly comedy mics/shows upstairs! they also have the best bartenders. plus several tvs for sports if you're into that. go enjoy a seat at the bar or get a table. but you should definitely go.
Great pub/bar. I love coming to watch any game I want to watch (and enjoying either fries or wings). Drinks are cheap compared to other bars in the area. There is not much table seating though (especially if the top floor is closed).

The food is average here. We Went there for lunch there was no lunch special so we ordered from the kitchen menu. My colleague ordered a burger but it was too salty and they changed it to fish and chips. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich it was average for Cajun chicken really liked the fries though.
The place is nice but it has changed their bar food menu It used to be outstanding pre COVID since then I went to get their Cobb salad and it flopped cold cut turkey and bacon from a jar no eggs and cheese also from a bag .

I came here all the time during law school, and I still come here sometimes after work. It's a good low key bar. Decent happy special, with $1 off the beers. It's a large space there's so there's a good amount of seating and a bunch of tvs for those interested in sports. The food here is decent too.
Cozy neighborhood bar. I had the vegetable wrap with waffle fries and thought it was very good. My friend and I were also happy with the drinks we ordered. I didn't give 5 stars, because the ladies room had one stall and the lock did not work.

Solid bar. Fairly low key. Great for watching games. Wings weren't quite as good as I had heard. Beer selection seems to be getting a little better over the last few months. If you're looking for a lively happy hour or a place to watch the game and grab a Bud or Killian's, this is your spot.
Sports bar with good selection of beers and a cider on tap. Kitchen stays open for last orders till 2345. Fairly large menu for snacks and mains, American style. The standard burger was good and I recommend the Angry Orchard cider. It went very well with the burger and fries. Open until 2am.
This bar has some of the best wings in all of New York City and Brooklyn. My friends and I go out of our way to go to the bar just for their wings and beers on football Sunday. I have been going to this place for Over three years and I have not ever been disappointed

Regular run of the mill hole in the wall. Drinks are what you expect, and the crowd looks like the old western peeps you see in the black and white classics. No complaints, and they have seating in the back so you can stop for a quick bar date or some grub.
Clueless bartenders with inattentive and unprofessional management. Make sure to check your bill or tab before signing your check. You could be overcharged and gaslit by management. Get it together.

Cool, traditional neighborhood pub with good quality food and friendly service. Great to meet up after work for a snack or a burger. When full it is pretty loud in there though. Wine list is a bit short, too, but a big variety of beers of course.
Very spacious. Great service. A bunch of different specials everyday such as Tuesday $1 tacos after 4pm. Has a second floor with more seating. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. Bar is long and does not feel cramped. Has a true sports bar feel to it.
Food and beer are great at OKeefe's. Little too noisy in the back room. Definitely try a beer from their large selection and eat at the bar. Can't go wrong with the burger and waffle fries.

Two floors friendly staff very overwhelming after work tho. Good wings good vodka n Cran. Even though I witnessed the heaviest waitress in there seemingly bullying the other slimmer girls and literally trying to steal two tables from her.

Buffalo chicken sandwich was a throw away… Not sure if that was chicken and didn’t realize it until home. Had a beer while I waited - nice place inside and friendly service. May just not be the spot to get food
Service was great, waitress was very attentive. Food was nice and hot, maybe the strawberry margarita could have had a bit more alcohol. Game on the TV and bathrooms were freshly cleaned. Will be going back.
Amazing service. Roland is the best bartender. Very attentive to all our drink orders. Recommend the pretzel and wings. Both were delicious Highly recommend this bar for a fun night out with friends …
Great spot in downtown Brooklyn, you can catch all the games and their happy hour deals are great! They also have a really nice selection of bar food, it’s like everything you would want, at a bar. Lol
Service was good. Draft beer tasted fresh. Just ordered a snack, nachos with salsa and guacamole. Chips were stale tasted like from store off brand. The condiments lacked flavor perhaps out of a jar.

Ok for that part if Brooklyn;) food good an service was ok. Great selection and roomy. Much noise from outside and not upscale but good pub atmosphere.
The O'Keefes Burger & the steak sandwich is awesome. I usually get the waffle fries or sweet potato fries. Been my go to for take away in this area.
