I agree with the negative feedback provided here. Donna seems to be the hunter, once customer agrees to insurance it is then passed on to the trolls answering the calls. After answering all the questions, the proposal arrived with incorrect information which indicates that they ask you a series of questions which are answered my them not us. When asked about security devices on/in car, I explained I have a dash cam and factory fitted immobiliser but they decided to answer “no security device fitted”. When I called to highlight errors made, it was casually brushed off with “well the drop box only gave us these options “. Well, if that’s the case why was it not discussed with customer before taking it upon themselves to make that decision?? Having spoken to quite a few of these incompetent members of staff, CLAIRE she definitely represents the company! She talked over me as I was explaining my concerns and chose not to wait until I finished talking. She did this a few times and when I highlighted her behaviour she had the audacity to tell me “ I’m trying to help you”. well I suggest you start by zipping that fowl mouth of yours and learn to use manners as clearly her behaviour is of a wild farm animal. She isn’t use to people standing up for themselves and clearly hasn’t had anybody highlight her faults hence the reason she cancelled my call mid conversation. When I called to speak to her superior regarding her Ferrell behaviour it was brushed off with NO consideration or apology which says it all! IS THIS THE BEHAVIOUR OF PROFESSIONAL BROKERS IN WHICH I HAD AGREED TO TAKE INSURANCE OUT WITH THEM. AFTER THIS APALLING AND SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO CANCEL!! IF YOU WANT A PROFESSIONAL AND ACCURATE INFORMATION ON YOUR INSURANCE POLICY, AVOID THEM LIKE A DISEASE!!

Friendly on-boarding staff. Couldn’t fault her. Clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. Customer service team… clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, not so friendly. My advice before you chose to employ this broker is to read your policy wording fully and ensure you have the important parts of your insurance policy in writing as well as verbally agreed before signing. If there’s an issue, let’s say with a windscreen claim the first thing they’ll do is check the voice recordings from your on-board conversation. That’s fair enough I guess? You’ve signed it, you deal with it. Not had that kind of reply or service from a broker before though. My experience with other brokers is they’ll at the very least call the underwriter on your behalf before trawling though voice recordings looking for evidence to absolve themselves. It appears that as a customer of this broker you are merely a number, a commission. Hoping not to have to talk to them again before my policy expires. There are other brokers out there which don’t act in this manner so really consider their offer before signing. Given 2 stars because I wouldn’t recommend this broker despite their 60 years in business.

I honestly do not understand the bad reviews here. I have just been off the phone to Amy, who very professionally and timely answered any queries and juggled eloquently for my needs. She reminded me by her approach, how I once was with this company but left only because of competitive rates elsewhere - but judging by straight black and white answers and an professional knowlegde of both the law and requirement, very little pushy sales tactics involved. Believe me, I only just cancelled a policy from Business Choice Direct because the pushy salesman forgot to inform me (or indeed permit me to question NCB protection) - he just wanted the insurance and offered low price. Amy here was very clear, gave me quotation on both - why can't other companies understand this?

I would like to say how highly I rate this company, I was recently involved in an accident ( not my fault ) the staff at Osborne's could not have helped more, they arranged a hire car within 1 day & kept me working. Whenever I needed any help in the process. Claire Caroline & Chris could not have been more helpful. The incident has now been all sorted & I have my car back , like nothing had happened. I would go on to say I have been previously insured with other so called taxi insurance specialist & when a similar accident happened it took months & loads of calls ( all to different people ) to get sorted, but they were the cheapest !!! I have since learnt my lesson & will always insure with Osborne's. Thank you

One of the best insurance companies to provide you with very competitive prices. They also rewards you for your loyalty when it comes to renewal. I have been with them for over 8 years and the reason being is that this business is run by honest and competent individuals who do care about their customers, special thanks to manager Caroline and Clare whom I have known for over 7 years and are one of the kindest and sweetest ladies around when it comes to looking after their customers and posses wealth of experience underpinned by their remarkable skills, frankly speaking these ladies are the reason why customers like us stay loyal to Osborne and Sons as they live and breathe customer care and professionalism

This company are always helpful and always go out of their way to make sure that any queries are resolved. I had an unusual question about the policy before I took it out and the team went out of their way to find out the information for me. I have been with this company on one policy for years and now have a second policy with them because I am so pleased with them. Never had an issue at all! I havve read some of the other reviews and can't believe what I'm reading, however I see that some below leave bad reviews wherever they go which reflects more on them than the companies they are reviewing

I find the staff at Osborne’s to be very patient and professional. I was looking at buying a new car and they told me about all of the different options I had and exactly how much it would cost me with no issues. I prefer being able to speak to someone without being kept on hold for ages or being redirected to a website and Osborne and Sons are always efficient. I also like the fact that if needed I can visit the office which you can’t do with a lot of the “big insurers”. Thank you to all the staff at Osborne’s for all of your help!

This company is extremely unprofessional and disorganised. They falesly give you reassurance when dealing with a claim, explaining how it will be dealt with and then REVOKE on it and DENY what was initially said and give a completely different action plan. They claim not to receive information and when it re-submitted they are unable to open the file as they do not have the technology or know how. I don't know who is running this outfit but it needs some professional management as it's coming across as a Mickey Mouse company.

I got a verygood quote from this company and was very happy with they're professional manner. The lady I spoke to explained to me the different between rated and unrated insurance, gave me a very competitive quote and then even reduce it when I explained that my existing insurance was cheaper. other companies need to take note...Ive spoken to other brokers who have very bad attitude and just want to get your money as quickly as possible. 5 stars for osbornes

I have used Osborne and sons for a year now..renewal is coming let's see if they are still competitive. I have had no issues with them for a year and there prices are competitive. Edit: April 2018 Osborne's offered a competitive price but wasn't better than my new insurer.. however I still can't fault them for the service as they tried lowering there price twice and they spoke to me in regards to details of the policy which where important.

This local freindly insurance company goes all out to help your different insurance requirements weitheir it's personal or business a professional service with a personal touch a local rate call that actually gets answered insure locally keep the small freindly businesses in your community help at hand you really can not out a price on it competitive too I have insured here for decades and have never been disappointed

Wish I could give it a minus 5 star. After insuring via the firm for nearly 10 years, claim free at around £1500/year, the firm showed no common sense or understanding when we had to cancel the hire insurance in 2020 due to Covid break out. It gave us several different quotes on cancellation charges and kept on increasing its figure. Very nasty experience.

This company have been providing me with Private Hire Vehicle insurance for 6 years now. Don't use they not issued and of the year no claim cartificate they asking dashboard camera returned and removal fee and they already changed when they installed camera instaltion and camera so not worthy to use for £200chip offer morality every one from insurance to Tfl they just robbe PCO driver

A great friendly service by a broker named Lynda emphasis with my current situation of not getting a discount from my previous insurer after being with them for a year. She had given me a discount which I was very pleased i will be recommending this company to friends and family .

I have been with this company for many years and always found their rates competitive and service helpful so am surprised to read the negative reviews. I would rather talk to someone than spend ages on line, maybe that comes at a small premium but that has not been my experience.

I own many cars from a Bentley to e type Jaguar no matter what insurance you need from my experience of magazine insurance company’s to specifically car brand insurance these are the easiest and most competitive I’ve found and will only use.

They charge 25 pounds to check your DVLA records then they discuss the policy details with you and change given quotion with an expensive one if you not agree your 25 pounds will not be refunded Fraudulent behevior not recommendable
