The entire staff was very respectful, comforting and supportive. We felt our late mother was respected and well cared for. Our questions were answered and any special requests were arranged if possible. The staff even packed up all of the personal items we had placed for the visitation and had it ready for us to pick up at our convenience. Will not hesitate to use their services again. P.X.Dermody Upper Gage my 89 year old father in law passed. My wife and we’re greeted by Katrina everything was pre arrangeD. We were treated compassionately, with respect, and felt treated like family.Katrina told us what to expect and has kept us informed at every/turn. My wife and I have pre arrangement and dealt with Katie Hyacun ( hope I spelled it wright ) she spent time going over everything with us and there was no high pressure sales pitch. Amazing staff to work with special recognition to Katie Hrycun - Funeral director she goes above and beyond for her clients/families. She is carrying, hard working and dedicated individual and always puts her clients best interest first. I have personally known her for 5+ years and she has been referred to many of my clients for pre-planning services with her and she is done amazing job for them. Denis the directory at the funeral home was amazing. He helped us get everything organized and dealing with some hiccups that we had run into for the funeral of my brother. Our funeral director was Kim Antolich and we really appreciated her professionalism, kindness and caring attitude while dealing with the death of my brother Glen Murray. The staff went above and beyond to look after all of our needs. I highly recommend this funeral home.

Nothing but compassion was shown by all funeral directors to my Dad and I during the sudden passing of my mother. Knowing we could trust our funeral director with the arrangements had made a difficult situation just a little easier while we were grieving. From the initial call with Denis to the consultation and process with Kim , we were treated with kindness, they were supportive , comforting, and informative and eased us through the process. Kim especially went above and beyond for our family during this traumatic time and it made our grieving process manageable. I will forever be thankful.

Don't use this place. They allow family members to bully others and cater to those who aren't the executor. They will refuse acess under no authority. I was disappointed by their actions to not make the right decisions and allow mental and physical abuse on others in the building. Horrible place and service. I don't recommend them at all.

I can't say enough about everyone working here, they care first, everything else follows. My mother in law and mother passed 6 days apart. Denis, Kristen and staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you for your compassion and understanding and thank you for supporting us during this difficult time.

Today we had a service for my brother. The employees were efficient and very sympathic to our needs. Catrina Meeks was exceptional! Even when I called her several times a day she treated me like I was her only client. Thank you for making the day go without any issues so we could reflect on our memories of our brother.

Not only did they do an impeccable job with my mother-in-law's cremation and all the paper-work details last year, but this year, on the one-year anniversary I received a card from Maureen at the Upper Gage location. It was hand-written and thoughtful. I have to say I was very impressed at the attentive follow-up.

Great place to be. The staff there are truly amazing patience and compassionate during our loss of my mother. Their services were great and offer great advice as well help us through some of checklist. I would use them again in future. I know people who have use them before.

The Dermody team was absolutely amazing. From beginning to end of the process they handled our family with care and compassion. Paul, Kim, Vanessa and the rest of the team actively listened and engage in all questions we had and followed through on everything we asked for.

If you want a cold person dealing with you and don't mind speeding to get to the cemetery with your loved one bouncing around the back of the hearst then you should use them. The home was nice but that is my only nice thing to say about them.
