Enjoyed a wonderful meal here last night, the service was great with really friendly staff. The food was exceptional, we couldn't decide what to try, so had the set menu A, which included mixed starters, then crispy duck, General Tso chicken, chilli beef, garlic and ginger prawns, mixed vegetables and either rice or noodles. We opted for both, so selected noodles with the meal and added an egg fried rice. The starters were delicious, highlights being the Chicken Saté and prawn toast, which was very generous in prawn meat. The chilli beef was among the best I've had - as crispy as you'd like but in decent sized pieces. The General Tso chicken was also really delicious, as were the vegetables, which were incredibly fresh and served in a very moreish sauce. The Ginger and Garlic prawns were the stand-out dish for us though, with lots of ginger and garlic, superbly balanced.. Very tasty indeed! Portion sizes were generous and although we were both stuffed at the end of the meal, everything was so tasty, you couldn't help but continue picking at the left-overs - which is a good sign to me. I'm really looking forward to trying some more adventurous dishes here, as everything was seasoned perfectly, and the freshness of the ingredients just shows the quality the owner (Who is really friendly and apparently is a great chef herself) is striving for. We were treated to a complimentary drink at the end of the meal too, which was actually very generous. Dare I say that last nights meal was better than we've had at the mighty Xian in Orpington, and equal to what we considered to be the best Chinese restaurant in the local area (Lotus in Locksbottom, which sadly closed many years ago...) We've waited so long to have a Chinese restaurant in Chelsfield, and we've been blessed with what looks to be an absolute cracker! #impressed!

Stopped on by this evening to order and pick up takeaway on their second day open. Please note they don't accept cards yet, cash only. Service was friendly, as it took longer than the 20 minutes quoted for my food to arrive I was given a complimentary drink while I waited. We had the prawn toast which was perfectly cooked with an excellent thick layer of prawn; the salt and pepper calamari, which was fantastic - caused a minor argument in my house over who got the last piece; vegetable noodles which were generous in portion and very tasty with fresh ingredients. Given it was day two, a very solid 4 out of 5, I look forward to visiting again and upgrading my rating. Due to current circumstances I haven't visited in person but have had numerous deliveries. Exceptional stuff from Panda Cook every time.

***BIG WOW*** after reading the good reviews we decided to give it a try and the food was absolutely beautiful fresh flavoursome food. We get a take away from here every so often and turn up to buy and get it. Honestly our experience has been mixed at best, on just actually getting the food. No point calling in advance because they don't start cooking until you turn up to pay. Having changed tack and coming from the pub to pay and get a time to come back, even with 30mins wait times, has often left us sat there with nothing. I'm sat here after 50 mins from paying, and told to come back after 30 mins after that which I did, with nothing. It's great when it comes, but the lovely food is soured by the long wait beyond what you are told. Especially when you turn up in person to order it.

WOW .. Just wow! What a beautiful little place this is at the bottom of our road. Luckily we booked our table in advance. It was so busy with not a spare table and a good run of takeaways going out. Cosy little restaurant with amazing staff. So friendly and modest. There was a wait but once you get your food you will not be disappointed! The prawns were so fresh, juicy and delicious. The duck rice is a must!!!!! Out of this world. The portions were large the price in my opinion could have been more. The food didn't weigh you down it was freshly cooked and the staff had great knowledge of gluten free options. If you can't tell we are so happy that this place is in walking distance. You must GO!

Excellent, even with allergies! We are allergic to egg and dairy so always very cautious when eating out and tend to stick with the same places. Today we went on a leap of faith to support a new local family business. The food is well cooked and very fresh, they were very thorough checking ingredients for us, and simply nice people! Lovely food, thoroughly recommended. We shall be back. Some say that it as as good or better than Xian. I'd say it's a different offering but equally nice. Also bonus 20% for ordering before 6 p.m. which is great for a family with very small children like ours.

Visited Panda Cook for dinner, the food was amazing. We had a selection of dim sum which were the best we've ever had, truly authentic cuisine and beautifully presented. We also had whole seabass which was expertly filleted at the table, what a joy. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, an absolute delight to have such a lovely local restaurant, we will definitely be returning soon.

I have always been impressed with the quality of the food and service from Shu and her family and last night was no exception. You could taste the freshness of the ingredient. The quality of the food and portion sizes were just perfect. I had missed the food for a few weeks and last night the experience made up for it.

Unfortunately I found the quality of the meat used in the dishes, especially the chicken, of very low quality. I also found the prawn toast tasteless, with a lack of prawn. It's a shame this place doesn't do more dim sum dishes too. I was really rooting for this place so hopefully they improve their ingredients soon!

Ordered online, was promised a 45 minute delivery, after 1.5 hours called to chase and was told it’s just leaving the kitchen, another 30 minutes went by, called again, told the same thing. Cancelled the order in the end. Appalling service won’t be back

We picked this restaurant due to location and previous reviews, for birthday celebrations. It was definitely a good choice. Excellent service and tasty food. We arrived to a table decorated for the occasion. We even received an impromptu lesson in using chopsticks! I would recommend this restaurant. More

Only had the fried rice so far and it was great! As good as Xian and easily better than all others in Orpington. Good work Panda Cook. ...now hopefully someone opens a decent italian deli with take away healthy non-frozen oven meals (to catch all the homecoming train foot traffic) on that strip as well?

This was probably the best takeaway meal we have had in ages. Food delicious hot and delivered in time specified. Will recommend to friends and neighbours and will now be our go to for takeaway. Price was good as well judy

The best food ever. I have a Chinese stepfather and we have visited lots of fantastic restaurants. Many high end and fine dining. The quality of the food at panda cook is second to none. Not fancy or fine dining but truly authentic . Fresh and delightful.

First time going there absolutely the best chinese I have had, friendly staff it was my birthday they brought a massive slice of warm chocolate cake 12 scoops of ice cream and a massive plate of apple fritters 100 percent recommended this place

Always had delicious takeaway from here, the only Chinese place so far I've found with tangerine chicken. And I've been looking for it since I'd travelled to the US. Delicious, and fresh quality food!
