I brought meats to cook chicken thighs and ground beef and they all smell I even try washing it off and marinating the chicken thighs and lemon juice to see if the smell will go away but now I know that all that meat isn't all fresh and that's disgusting because I lived here 11 years and to even have or sell expired meat that smells funny or like rotten eggs is wrong and if the health inspection comes and finds out that they have expired funny smelling meat they would lose their license for that they need to do better and stop reselling expired meat that has a funny smell because someone is going to sue because it can get someone really really sick the ground beef I bought it was not the regular one but it was the the family size the one I believe the 100% ground beef and even with a funny smell I still cooked it and ate it because I was hungry but I'm sending the others back I opened all of them to see if the all smell and they smell real badly and I'm taking it back and I'm getting my refund with the receipts for all meats that I bought including the chicken thighs that I threw out that I had marinated and lemon juice

I'd appreciate knowing what the prices are before arriving at the register, especially if there are multiple signs posted throughout the supermarket promoting a sale (with inaccurate information) or having items and their listed price match with the shelving. It'd also be nice if the butcher was present until 8:00P to assist customers. Just a suggestion, it could be a bit more organized and not so tight spaced when maneuvering a shopping cart. Overall, I like that it's right up the block but I think the operating hours on the receipt should reflect the actual timeframe it's open.

Is a very nice supermarket but it needs to have better qualities and they meet section.. I bought a piece a meat that it didn't look good when I got home ground beef it looked a nice and red and inside a little red other than that the store is very nice clean but like I said it needs better qualities and the meat section it's not nice to mix the nice meat with some bad meat please don't do it again

Good place to pick up a few things. I wouldn't do any large grocery shopping here though. The meat often doesn't look great, but if you need bread or anything pre-packaged, it's not bad. Staff is very nice. The only problem is, you'll most likely be savagely mugged or killed by the drug dealers and public housing trash that hang out in this neighborhood. It's where God goes to die in the Bronx.

Sales are pretty good. If they don't have something that is on sale they will try and accommodate you with something else. The manager is quick to open another register if the lines get too long. The employees have always been kind & professional. Convenient to have other stores like the pharmacy, post office, nail salon, discount store, pizza shop, and other stores right on the same strip.

Giving it one star because I had to! This supermarket is disgusting. The meat is rotten. Everything is expired. It's overpriced. The owner is perverted. He likes to talk and kick it to other woman while his wife works there as a cashier! I hate coming here. Please go down the block to the other supermarkets.

I recently held a free back to school bbq for children in the bronx. I asked the manager Joel who was very cool by the way, if they could donate anything to the cause and sure enough he and the staff really looked out for us! I couldn't have done it without their help. Thank you guys!!!!

They had a kind and friendly cashier the day I went. I am hoping they will bring orange , black, and various taper and pull out candles soon and more various breakfast tv dinners and more organic and low carb foods.

This place is nasty fruit be having Mildew on it was going to buy Strawberries from here and when I looked at it the whole packed had mildew! A quick soda maybe some chips but I don’t do my Big shopping here..

Too expensive poor quality of meat. Produce not much too choose from. Deli no selection and every 9.99 lb. No name brand Ham ,Cheese , Turkey. The area is dangerous... Not worth even walking into ...

Not a supermarket I will go food shopping in but ill definitely go to for something last minute. Their prices are kind of high, and I've had to take back meat a few times. But overall they are ok

Friendly staff. A handy neighborhood market for when you are in a hurry, but I wouldn’t do a lot of shopping here. Prices are generally very high, and the place also smells kind of gross.

I don't like the color of their meat in the meat department it doesn't look fresh. Over priced items. Fruits are always molded.. Very thing else is okay.

Not generally crowded! Courteous staff. Do not expect 20 varieties and sizes. It is a neighborhood store with a good variety of the basics.
