Today was my first visit. I came in with my Service Dog. Everything started well. I had specific brands and flavors that I needed to get for my cat due to dietary restrictions. Their cat food selection is a bit limited, but two of the three employees told me about checking in the back, special ordering, and all options to get it to me. Other dogs came in while we were there. Bo (my SD) was laying next to me when two dogs came in. He lets other dogs sniff him, but he is trained to sniff and ignore. One of the dogs growled a bit at him. I didn't think much about it because some dogs do that when they meet a new dog. After the two dogs left, one of the male employees assumed my dog was causing a problem and growling. He made a comment to another employee referring to me as "that disabled lady" and made the assumption that it was Bo. I immediately asked him to clarify that he was referring to my dog. He told me again that Bo growled, etc. I explained that it was not Bo and that I was a woman with a disability, not a disabled lady. I told him how I was living with a disability, not suffering from one and that my disability does not define me. I explained how offensive it is refer to someone in that way and to assume it was my dog without any base. I explained that I literally cannot function in public without Bo. Making that assumption also questions Bo's (and other SDs) legitimacy and necessity to me. The male employee apologized and said he never meant to offend me. For the record, I believe him. It doesn't make it okay, but I do believe him. After explaining all of this, I was done. Bo was sensing my anxiety and heart rate rising, and he started to alert me. I told the female employee that I would have to think about the special order I had started with her. The female employee was an absolutely WONDERFUL human being. She apologized, thanked me for being honest, and told me to call her later if I wanted to order the food. I don't want this guy to be fired, hence why I'm not putting his name in this review. I do, however, think that a bit of training on correct terms and thinking before you speak would be good. Based on the reviews, this seems like an isolated incident. As of this moment, I don't feel as though I can give them my business.

Park Pet Supply is my dog's favorite store and lucky for her we live down the street. This place is a one stop shop for all of her favorite things- food, treats, naturally shed antlers, and even baths! Park Pet Supply sells multiple brands of natural dog food, treats, and toys and they are willing to order at your request. I switched my bi-weekly Pet's Mart purchase of Wellness dog food over to Park Pet Supply because they are cheaper and willing to stock the version that my dog eats. I would much prefer to support a local business in my neighborhood, too. Park Pet Supply also operates a "wash your own dog" spa right next door. For $15 you can use their facility which includes a variety of shampoo/conditioner options, secure bath area with a gate, towels, ear cleaner, nail trimmer, blow dryer, etc. We stop in at least once a month for a bath. I love this option because it keeps my bathroom clean and allows me to bathe my dog without having to drop her off somewhere. There is also a grooming facility on site. I have only used them for nail trims but will give them a try next time my dog needs a shave. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming and often have treats on hand for my girl. They also offer a "frequent bather card" that you can stamp each visit in order to earn a free wash and a customer loyalty card that earns you free treats after you spend a certain dollar amount. Support local and shop at Park Pet Supply!

Absolutely lovely place to get everything for your furry friend. Staff is always top notch and highly knowledgeable. Their prices are better than big chains like Petco and PetSmart, so why go to a place where they don't care about you vs. someone who wants to see pictures of your best friend! They also have rewards programs, which gets you free goodies, and I mean honestly what else is there to say? If you respect good transparebt business and positive attitudes in life, why go anywhere else? P.S. my cat ended up not liking food we've gotten for her before (shocker, right?), and they had no problem exchanging it for something that she would like after we were given samples of a few different types of cat food. Only Park Pet Supply would go above and beyond with type of stellar customer care! Also, they donate the open bag to shelters or whatnot. You really can't ask for more! I wanted to share my recent experience with Park Pet Supply. We recently adopted, Koda, and reached out to Park Pet Supply for some staples like a leash, harness, dog treats, toys, etc. I emailed with them to figure out what would work best for his breed and young puppy energy. They were super knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting the right products. I paid via a secure invoice online which was super easy and then stopped by later that day to grab the curbside pickup order. Koda also received a free adoption bundle packed with toys and treats. His tail would not stop wagging! If you recently adopted a dog or cat, you could get an awesome adoption bundle too! I highly suggest Park Pet Supply for all your pet needs. Had all great experiences until today. We’ve been buying same 30 lb of dog food forever. Have been going here for almost 13 years. We were one bag away from the normal free 30lb bag of food. So, basically, have to spend $600+ to get a free bag, which has happened many times throughout the years. But, their “new” computer system says we’ve only been buying the 15 lb bag so we have to start all over? Sad that humans can’t think rationally past their new computer system. My guess is that a human entered our previous purchases into their new system incorrectly (from hand written cards that they’ve used since we’ve been going there). Too bad humans are incapable of considering “human error” and side against a loyal customer of nearly 13 years. We left with no resolution :(

A puppy recently found her way into my life and I began the quest to find food I felt good about giving her that was both nutritious and ethical. As a vegetarian (mostly vegan) buying dog food can be low key traumatizing. So to find a pet store that cares about the humane aspect of pet food and is close to home was a godsend. Beyond that, though, I was struck by the warmth of the employees. I have been several times now and no matter who is working that day they all greet my puppy like she’s a celebrity. They adore her and play with her and give her treats. Of course she LOVES to go there. Lol. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel good supporting this business and would highly recommend them.

This place is amazing - friendly and incredibly helpful staff. I can’t remember names, but there are two people here that have given me so much information about food and ingredients every time I’ve come in. If they don’t have it, they’ll get it for you. They have really great kibbles, and tons of options and toppers for raw diets. I’m looking to start ordering my cats wet food through Park Pets so I can finally break up with Petco for good. My pup had surgery today and was really struggling in her big plastic cone, so I popped over to see if they had soft cones and they had exactly what I needed. She is so much more comfortable now and I’m thankful to have such a great pet store nearby.

I absolutely love Park Pet Supply and recommend it to all the pet owners I know in the East Atlanta area. They're super knowledgeable, helpful, and really do care about the health and happiness of your pet. They've given me free samples of different foods to try for my very picky kitty. One of the employees there, Bryce, has been thorough in explaining different items and patient with questions, as well as going out of their way to make their own suggestions. They also have great rewards programs and I've gotten multiple free bags of litter and food through their rewards programs. Plus, the curbside service throughout COVID has been simple and convenient. Loved this place. We were accomodated really well and we basically had an inside tour of the shop to purchase our much needed toys for our new pup. The sales lady was very accomodating and she gives us really useful advices and knows their products well. She'll help with with anything and everything. They are actually not open for walk-in.. We were just lucky to be given a chance to go inside and have a look for a ourselves. I would pay a visit in this shop when I'm here in Atlanta, that's for sure. Prices are reasonable too and the quality is remarkable. There's also alot of healthy pet food choices (Canned, Raw & Treats). Would really recommend.

I visited this store in January 2012. I had been to REI looking for some dog hiking boots, after browsing through REI limited selection of $65.00 dog boots, the manager mentioned Park Pets store. I called they were very nice on the phone, mentioned they would keep the doors open for me if I came soon (it was near closeing time) and they had the exact boots I was looking for $10.00. They help my dog try them on, gave him a treat and we went on our way. Customer service was excellent, the people there were all kind and playful with my dog. I'll most likely attend this location for my future pet needs before trying any of the large chains.

We loved the entire experience! My hubby and I brought our newly adopted puppy in and we received an adoption kit and it was very very helpful. We thank you guys so much! My older dogs love the duck hearts and necks! Can't get enough of your amazing treats! As a registered veterinary technician I can say the employees had a lot of knowledge and I really appreciated that. They helped a lot and were very on point with the information given. I loved it! And 100% back them up. The only concern I had was there was a lot of grain free food in the shelf. Do your research. Do not rely on all the marketing. Thanks for all y'all's help!

Best place! Staff are great and have extensive knowledge on their products and pet care. Always are so friendly and offer to carry products out for you. they have multiple loyalty lines that it seems like we get something free almost every time we're there. They foster cats in the shop for adoption. There's a sister shop next door for pet bathing and grooming including self-serve. It's small, but they have everything we've ever needed for our pets, including stuff I'm hard pressed to find in big box chain stores. But you can always place special orders through them if they don't have the quantity you need.

Great place for high quality dog food at a good price. I love the system of getting one bag of dog food free after buying a certain amount. You also get to pick out free treats after spending a certain amount, which my dogs love. The staff is usually very helpful and attentive. The only thing that bothers me is that I have on a couple occasions received comments & assumptions about a few things that rubbed me the wrong way. I get it, some people are not great dog owners and it can make you skeptical of everyone but those people are probably not buying high-priced products & shopping at this store.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to right a review... so this is looooong overdue! I've been coming here for years and if it wasn't for the amazing selection and incredibly knowledgeable owner and staff, I probably wouldn't have my furbabies on the superb diet they are currently on. They are thriving, and I am so grateful to be close to a pet supply like PPS. All are so caring and love what they do. PPS continued to be open during quarantine, responsibly serving curbside, and I am glad to have been able to continue having easy accessibility to what my babies need. Thanks y'all!

What a hidden gem! I was blown away by the service, the quality of products and the owner was a goldmine of information!!!! It was so nice to go in a pet store and someone know what they are talking about. She spent a lot of time with me to talk through options and find the best products for my dog. The pricing was in line with a regular store and not jacked up like you would see in a boutique pet store. If you are looking for a holistic option this is the place to go, especially for newbies that are confused and need guidance. It was worth the drive!

I can't recommend Park Pet supply highly enough! I recently picked up 2 strays on a North Ga highway, and brought them home. When I went in to buy food and other supplies, the store was unbelievably generous helping me get started. The rep from Acana was there and also helped in every way she could. I had been shopping there since I got to Atlanta a few years ago, ( for my old hound,) and I don't know another group so committed to making sure that our pets are well cared for. This isn't just a pet store store trying to sell you whatever they can. They all know so much and truly care about how your pet is doing. I also love the fact that they also have monthly sales on premium products. Always friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Great selection of quality foods and products.

This place and the team who run it are absolutely lovely! Go above and beyond to help your pet. Recommended the rabbit feet to me for helping to clean out my dog’s digestive system, and they have become a godsend every time she has an upset stomach! Can’t thank them enough. I’ve moved and now live an hour away, but I still make the drive monthly. They even recommended and set up a monthly order for me so what I need will always be there in stock on my monthly drive in.

The staff here is the absolute best. Every time I walk in I am greeted and asked what kind of help I need. Everyone has always been so friendly and the shelves are always stocked with what we're looking for. Atlanta has so many amazing small pet stores that I can't think of why you would want to visit a big-box store. I hate shopping anywhere for anything even I pop in just to look at what they have from time to time. Six stars, no doubt.

I would give this place more stars if I could. I fell in love with this place from the moment I entered. The customer service is top notch! I love this place. It's in the neighborhood and they are always friendly and helpful. I use the dog bath more than anything but when my dog is not feeling her best they give great suggestions for products even if they don't carry it. If they do, they are happy to apply it for you or offer excellent guidance to do it yourself. Plus, products with replacement guarantees, are done so without any hassles. Best pet store in Atlanta!

This place is packed with awesome foods, treats, supplements, and toys! The staff are knowledgeable and honest and will provide excellent personalized service. The cost of the foods is more competitive than even big box stores, which makes buying the best food for you pet so much easier! They also offer points rewards when you shop. It's a great place to shop and support local business and get a feel for the neighborhood.

This is the best pet store I've been into in awhile. My pupper had some diarrhea issues and I mentioned to one of the staff members. She provided me with a wealth of knowledge and some samples of food that would be good for my dog and she is all better now. The staff is super knowledgeable, helpful, and caring!! This is now my local pet shop and total worth driving out of the way for. Highly recommended!

Tara Lynn is definitely one of my favorite employees here. All of them are great, helpful, resourceful. They reccomend products that they use for their own pets. Tara has great energy and is naturally sweet. Shes so easy to talk to. I always feel welcomed here. One day, I came here for raw food for my husky and ended up buying food for my cat too. Now, I don't even buy regular kibble for my pets anymore.

Love the staff here. They make shopping a pleasure and are able.to guide you to what you're looking for while you say every other word that describes the item you want except for the right words. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's a bit of a detour for 7s to come here, but we make that detour because we love going there. There are 2 parking spots specifically for the store behind the store.

Every since I moved to ATL, I’ve been coming to this shop for my oldest dog and now my new puppy. The people here are amazing and always super accommodating. Even if I move, I’ll still be coming here. They seriously are a staple to the community and our pets! Even during a pandemic, they’ve been so helpful and make the purchasing, process easy! These people are amazing. My girl was given two months to live after having a hemangiosarcoma tumor removed IF i did chemo in august of 2019. I got her on all raw meats and veggies, thanks to park pet supply, with some turkey tail and tumeric. No chemo and 7 months later she is a 13 year old pup. Full of kisses and teaching the new addition to the family how to not suck at being a dog.

I have been going here for 13 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have one dog who constantly has allergy and skin issues, and the staff will recommend products and then follow up with me when I return. Even when I do not bring my dogs in, they always ask how my dogs are doing. The prices are reasonable and they offer many different healthy, high quality brands.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I've been coming here for the past 1-2 years and have always had a great experience. I recently got gifted a kitten by the cat distribution system and took her into the store. The employees were all super knowledgeable about typical kitten care and even gave me an adoption bundle with free kitten food and treats.

We just adopted our sweet kitten recently, and they have the most awesome "new adopters" basket for free! I gave them a call about it and Ms.Colleen was so sweet and helpful in getting everything just right for our little Kyo! I will definitely be coming back, and Kyo loves the amazing, high quality food they gave to us! We were both super happy! <3

This place ROCKS!! There is always a place for me to park in back. I have to purchase a large amount of raw food and the staff is always so helpful. I have been coming here for almost 20 years and always leave there smiling.They have this cool hunting indoor cat feeder where cat has to find food in mice you hide around the house. So FUN!

It's so great to have a place close by to run in to when we need something. They sell great brands and everyone is always helpful and friendly. They even have a frequent buyers card that lets you earn free things! I work late sometimes so it's great that they are open until 9pm.
