"My family and I first time visiting! Bathroom were nice and clean, no backpack were allowed but no worries they had a trailer out for our bags, smaller purses they'll let you through! The snack sellers, it was a scorching day that day and they kept selling the lemonades with already (melted ice)!! They still sold it for $8"
The stadium is clean and easy to navigate. The CalTrain provides reasonable but still distant access to the stadium (~20 minute walk), and the food and drink was reasonable, with plenty of Food Trucks and Stands available. The team though.... They can pass during warmups but during the game...... 3 touches and a 7-foot touch to set up that slammer result in disappointment. It's like that Joey meme in Friends where he's trying to learn French... In addition, the game started 30 minutes after ticket time and the SJ supporters didn't show up until after we deflected in our first own goal... Not a lot of.... football enthusiasm at this venue. All-in-all, a fine place to take your family for a community activity and some SJ pride. If you're looking for some quality football though, just find a local Buffalo Wild Wings and watch games on the east coast before the night gets away from you...
Was here for a work event and we were hosted at the end of the stadium nearest Coleman Ave. It was a well organized event with open bar, hors d’ouevres, and buffet dinner. Everything was yummy and the staff was very courteous and polite. The screen was used for a PowerPoint presentation and it was clear and easy to read. I didn’t have a chance to explore the rest of the stadium, but it looks like a well designed and enjoyable facility. Definitely would like to attend an earthquakes game or other function here in the future. The only con I can think of is that there are a continuous stream of airplanes landing and taking off, but it’s not that disruptive sine you are outdoors and in an open space.
Exercise caution with the food truck vendors within PayPal Park, particularly the Turkish food truck that offers coffee and desserts. I attended a party hosted by my employer and was misled by one vendor about the balance on my prepaid card. He claimed there was sufficient balance, but charged $11 instead of the expected $1. I recommend using an iPhone over an Apple Watch for clarity on transaction amounts. P.S. Beware of fraudulent food trucks. Always obtain a receipt from the vendors to ensure you know the exact transaction amount.
i had been wanting to visit this stadium for years and was finally able to do so which i was so excited for. the earthquakes played a home match against LAFC and the home team won which was a bummer to me but the crowd was ecstatic. they have a good fan base and the stadium was about 90% earthquakes fans which was good to see for that fan base. i'd really like to make another trip in the future for another earthquakes home game. the only downside is the parking is way too expensive.
My family and I first time visiting! Bathroom were nice and clean, no backpack were allowed but no worries they had a trailer out for our bags, smaller purses they'll let you through! The snack sellers, it was a scorching day that day and they kept selling the lemonades with already (melted ice)!! They still sold it for $8. Host did phenomenal with keeping the audience entertained (July15)!! Drove all the way from Sacramento to support our rugby player and team, we had a blast!
PayPal Park is a great place to watch soccer. Every seat is optimally positioned for viewing. Parking is $35 (cash/card). I suggest avoid the upper levels of the parking structure because it will take forever to get out after the match. Ideally tailgating is the way to go. Gates open two hours before the match. The bar has tons of energy and talent. Snack bars are stocked with the common favorites but also you will find about 15 food trucks parked inside the stadium. Enjoy!
We were here to see Enchant Christmas by the Hallmark. Loved the place, the parking arrangements and the stadium crew. The best part of the place is that they have very good parking arrangements for the disabled people and the entry system. One can spot the place easily, the location is near freeways, the stalls inside the stadium do justice to people with families. I will surely visit this place again and again with my family.
This is the home of the San Jose Earthquakes. The capacity is 18000 people. One of the sides is open and has a big bar(it is behind the goal.) There are fun activities before the game so I recommend visiting at least 1 hour early to try and enjoy the entertainment. There are many bars and food trucks that you’ll have many options to eat and drink. Proud to be a Earthquake fan!
Smaller soccer stadium with good seats all across. The view is good pretty much anywhere. Food and drinks are a bit pricey but consistent with other similar facilities. Parking is somewhat easier than larger stadiums. Park and walk into the stadium in about 10 minutes. Entry is fast through the metal detectors. The large TV screen has dead pixels. The sound system is ok too.
Hallmark's Enchant Christmas is in Paypal Park now! Highly recommended! You can get a cheaper ticket for night owl session ($25 dollars for 2 hours visit) there is a light maze, Santa photo taking zone, food trucks and ice skating remember wear enough clothes as it is super cold at paypal park definitely buy a hot chocolate it tastes so good!
Really clean, updated park. The women's bathroom lines were long, but moved really fast. The food vendors were great, and the food trucks are an awesome touch - there's a huge screen to still watch the field from there. On the way out after the game you can see the players exit over the main walkway. So cool and worth staying around to watch
It’s my 6th time going here to see earthquakes play. The vibe and energy is super great I come from Europe so soccer or we call it football is life! The way the stadium is designed you have no bad seats its kinda like Gladiator arena, drinks are great and food is delicious. One thing I wish would change wish we get a good celebrity player.
An awesome MLS stadium! The whole place is sparkling clean and well maintained. The stands are really steep which gives you the feeling of being close even if your seat is quite high up. A consequence is that the steps are also steep and can tire you out! The atmosphere can vary based on attendance.
We had great fun. Easy parking and beautiful stadium. Soccer in Germany is war, soccer in UK is serious and soccer in USA San Jose was pure family fun. Loads to eat and drink, chilled atmosphere. Actually soccer was the least important bit here. LOL
It’s quite a beautiful park. I’ve never been to a soccer arena before. I like the way the bleachers are laid out with the concessions underneath them all in the shade. It’s in an easily accessible location with a good amount of parking.
Watched the USWNT play their final tune up game against Wales before they head out to Australia and New Zealand for the women's world cup. It was a fun an entertaining game with a sold out crowd of 18,000 fans.
The heat was on today, but not to worry, PayPal Park got the beer and the means to cool you off for a nice sunday evening game. Fun night, good environment (our team should do better ) had a W today. …
Nice stadium. The angle of the seats is steep and makes for a good viewing from almost all seats. The stadium food choices are limited, but there are a lot of food trucks during the Earthquake games.
Absolutely Gorgeous stadium! Extremely clean with amazing box seats and a beautiful color scheme and design. A wonderful place for both friends and family! Home of the historic San Jose Earthquakes
Great experience the hallmark's Enchant Christmas! Totally recommend, cheaper during the week and loved the drinks, the food, the lights, the magician, the food trucks, the ice skating.
The stadium is small but comfortable. You can see the game from any corner. I didn't like the entrance, not much security and long lines. Other than that first time and great time.
A good place to visit and work! Enchant is an interesting event to attend and take photos after Thanksgiving. Go Quakes and welcome women"s soccer in 2024!!!!!!!!!
Enchanted village was awesome! Vixen is the most difficult to find. Spoiler alert: it’s near the entrance, check small entry to space where vixen located. :)
Beautiful stadium, no bad seats in the house. Family friendly atmosphere. Went to see a match , now a season ticket holder for the last four years.
Love Pay Pal Park! So clean and energetic. The games here are wild! I can’t wait for the Season to start again. Vamos San Jose! ⚽️
Home of the San Jose Earthquakes the stadium is not huge but is nice. Nice view of the airplanes arriving to San Jose airport.
I love this stadium. Clean, pretty views of the sky and the field no matter what seat you have honestly.
Always a great time coming to see The Earthquakes play - the food and drink is overly expensive though
