I’ve always liked peets . This location is great in the sense that the location is beautiful; I love downtown Willow Glen and I think peets is a great place to stop for coffee or tea in a place where there’s plenty of outdoor shopping or dining to do. Only criticism I have is that today my customer service I received wasn’t the best. I have been to this location many times in the past, and I’ve had good service then, but today I just felt like my barista at the register didn’t care . I asked if the anniversary peetnik beverage reward (if you have the app) was free or I needed to make a purchase to redeem a free drink . Her energy was lacking to serve me and I just didn’t feel she cared enough to be there . I’m not expecting perfection but you can just try to display some more energy in your tone . When the lady behind her overheard that I wanted the brown sugar oat milk latte with jellies , she was like “from 2Pm onward.” I don’t recall the exact wording but it was something along these lines. At first I didn’t know what she meant —- I interpreted that like I couldn’t order that specific drink until 2pm cuz they don’t serve it till 2pm? She then stated “but since it’s for your anniversary free drink reward that’s fine.” Again I don’t recall exact wording but it was something along these lines. I would completely understand if you can’t serve a drink till a certain time but even then— your jellies beverage part of the menu literally has no caption saying that ; unless you meant something totally different . It was so confusing . Long story short - I got the drink. It was good but it could’ve been a tad sweeter . I feel like peets needs to add a little more flavor to this drink, besides the sweetness of the brown sugar syrup. There was still flavor but there could’ve been more . I do like that peets is adding drinks w jellies however the prices are a bit ridiculous. Granted , today I did not have to pay since I had my coupon however it would’ve been around $7 for a medium roughly of this drink. I know the jellies are supposed to make it “luxurious” but I’m sorry $7 is a lot for a medium cup of that. Hence why I’m selective whenever I’m paying for drinks
I was just in around 11am (9/26/22) and the red haired barista was one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. There were maybe 2-3 people waiting for coffee and about 1 mobile order (only one person physically in front of us) and when my mother went to put milk in her coffee, there was only half & half left. She went to the barista to ask for regular milk and the very flustered barista still gave her half & half and then slammed the (second) half & half container down by the sugar area, where I was standing with my son in the stroller. When she was back behind the counter, she said (loud enough for me to hear across the counter) about "people are painfully stupid" today. When I looked at her and asked if there was a problem, she looked at me and continued huffing making coffee. I'm not sure how someone can claim a person is "painfully stupid" when she filled a second half and half container. The way the other coworker didn't say a word makes me think this isn't the first rude day this barista has had. There's tons of other coffee places on Lincoln that don't call patrons names. TL;DR: Barista acted as if we asked her to milk a cow when asked for regular milk; we got called painfully stupid but the barista poured a second container of half&half instead (um?); slammed it on the counter by the sugar where I was standing; mediocre coffee. 0/10 do not recommend unless you're into getting berated.

If you're a coffee lover like me, then Peer's Coffee is the perfect spot to fuel your caffeine addiction. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of fresh coffee beans fills your nostrils and gets your heart racing in anticipation. The coffee at Peer's is top-notch, with a wide variety of roasts and blends to choose from. Whether you prefer a bold, dark roast or a light brew, they've got you covered. And if you're feeling adventurous, be sure to try one of their signature drinks, like the Nutella latte or the lavender mocha. But Peer's Coffee is more than just great coffee – it's also a fun and lively spot to hang out. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating for people to relax and chat. Of course, the real draw of Peer's Coffee is the caffeine. Whether you're looking to power through a long day at work or just need a quick pick-me-up, their coffee is sure to do the trick. Do yourself a favor and give in to addiction. Make a trip to Peer's Coffee – your taste buds (and your energy levels) will thank you!

How do I sum up my appreciation in a single review? I'm a South Bostonian who grew up on Dunkin D's, managed a Starbucks and now my home is full of Peet's mugs and pounds of grinds. Their espresso is not only flavorful but also won't trigger heartburn in those weak to acidity. I can testify to this. All my guests visiting me out of state get treated to Peet's before anything. THIS Peet's in particular has the absolute best crew. We will travel out of our way to have any one of these good people craft our drink and ask us how we've been. They know us, they care and they dedicate full effort to literally every beverage. This spot has all my respect and appreciation. Treat yourself, Google reciew reader. They sure will here.
Loudest Peet's around. This place is a noise box that will give you a headache. Sit outside if at all possible. I don't know if it is simply acoustics, entitled clientele, or both, but the noise alone is enough to scare me away. On the plus side, the entire area is very dog friendly, as is the case in most up-scale neighborhoods in San Jose. You'll see lots of overpriced clothing, but mostly alright people. The staff is passable, but I understand; they are far too busy to get to know in any way. If you prefer quiet, calm, or comradery, this place isn't for you.
Employees are not particularly friendly, shuffling people through the line. Ordered a pastry a couple of weeks ago with my coffee and it was stale. My fiancé ordered a drink and it was not made. So he went to the barista, and they had to scroll through their orders just to see if he had ordered it. I have always gone to Peet's coffee and I was expecting a friendlier atmosphere, quality, and better customer service. I have been there a total of three times. It was always the same.
Although I am a lifetime Peet’s lover, sadly, the service at this Peet’s was poor :( 3pm on a Tue (9/12/23) and the person at the register was just making small talk and more small talk… despite my standing patiently with a box of coffee in my hands, to purchase. The second person behind the counter—even though being apparently available—did not move to help me from the second register Sad, Peet’s! I still love Peet’s Coffee & Teas

Not a coffee expert, had to rush to this store to buy two bags of light roasts for my family before an international trip. Megan explained how light roasts actually had stronger caffeine whereas dark roasts are actually softer w/ caffeine. She's super patient on the phone and very professional in person. Got free drink for the purchase. Absolutely love the customer service when the staff don't just sell you the drink but also take the time to educate you about coffee.
Super friend baristas and quick service. I usually on the app and my food and drink are always ready when I walk in. This week I tried the ham and Swiss sandwich. It was perfect! Still warm and crispy even though I ordered on the go. I love that they offer milk alternatives on the bar and not just in lattes. I find myself at Peets wayyyy more than Starbucks these days for the simple fact that they get it right and they are consistent!
Fast and friendly service, employees are engaging, Smiles all around. Very nice modern rustic interior, beautiful. I ordered an Americano, wifey and I sat outside. (She had a latte, for you Italian's out there, Americans think latte is a coffee drink it's not milk lol.) We sat outside and enjoyed the shade of the umbrella with a couple locals from the area. We had a great conversation lasting almost two hours.
Came on a Saturday afternoon, pleased to see them open when typical cafes are closed. Came for some warm pastries. The banana muffin and chocolate babka was great. Staff was amicable and store was clean with steady flow of customers. Lots of parking around and great ambience at this location.

Wheelchair accessibility
It's a little tight for wheelchairs/mobility aids due to the table placement and 'shotgun style' build, but there is a rear entrance that has easier access.
A coffee shop gotta get latte right. Peet’s are going down the Starbucks road. The coffees are getting worse, no emphasis on barista training or quality. Just keep adding more stores and merchandise. Good news for small coffee shops though

Obviously I was ruining the baristas day. Couldn't be bothered to waste any of her breath actually talking to me. Ridiculously expensive. $12 for two medium beverages. Outrageous.

The staff here is incredibly friendly. They were very friendly to my dog and made conversation with my parents who were here from India. Peet’s coffee is generally great too. We got cappuccinos and it was great. They also gave a massive pup cup to my dog and have a lot of spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Stop by to get some coffee!
The review is not directly related to espresso Considering I order espresso from this location but more often the one on the Alameda, I expect the restroom to be open. I get told thecrestroi.is closed and the store closes at 5pm today. It's now 4:26 pm.

Not a huge fan of this location logistically. It is difficult to find parking in Willow Glen so a walk or bike ride would be good options. And the seating inside and out leaves much to be desired. Of course, Peet’s makes some of the best coffee and you can always count on the quality of product and customer service here.
The employees here are chirpy and friendly. However, my drink order has been a nightmare to make here (strangely this is the only location that has a hard time). I usually order the coconut creme latte. They’ve even ran out of the coconut syrup. Wish I could give more stars but the drink orders need to be accurate.
Friendly employees I am just buying supplies like filter paper since I roast my own coffee - but this place is always busy people do like it always friendly employees Same service great coffee place

I’ve had several people rave about Pete’s coffee, it always breaks my heart. Espresso shouldn’t be bitter, but smooth and creamy... like chocolate. Pete’s is always bitter, shots are poured too hot, beans are poorly roasted, and grind is over done. Go for the tea, you’ll thank me later. :)
Very friendly staff. Line was out the door but everything was done timely. Great drinks for my mornings

I always order online and they give me such Inaccurate pick up times, multiple times I’ve had to get a refund on my order because i can’t wait an extra 15 mins for my coffee to be made. Also extremely rude baristas who do not care about making you’re drink in time
5 stars. First of all this one is nestled in cute Willow Glen community. The "chai latte" we get here cannot be made at home. It has some secret ingredients I suppose. Customer service cannot be appreciated enough and every corner of the store is pristine.
I went in with my wife and waiting for our coffee she started to have difficulty breathing. She started getting better slowly as soon as we stepped outside but she almost fainted. Staff should really reconsider their cleaning products or something.
Ends up being a great hang out for Locals. Same excellent teas and coffees for which Peet's is known. This is the south Bay redition of the Berkeley classic off-center cafe. Gets noisy at times. Often bust but very fast and responsive staff.
It'd be great if the barista would actually announce the names instead of just causally saying if the customer were literally 2 feet away. Service could be better.Coffee was great!

What a great Peet’s branch in a beautiful area. Friendly workers and adequate seating. It’s hard to compete with all the other coffee areas nearby but they can hang. They were having a monthlong promotion of no additional charge for
Asked for a cold brew plus two shots of espresso, ended up with a regular hot brew with the two shots _in_it_. Never thought a barista would even consider doing this to coffee. Was so upset threw the steaming cup right in the trash.
Very long line and still got out of there within 10 mins. Very fast service and that was on a Tuesday around 8am. Great cust service and of course, great coffee. Better than Starbucks or some Philz. Highly recommend this Peets
I've literally never had a bad coffee from this location. Everyone's super nice, too, and it's a great work/study space. It can get crowded but folks don't usually stay too long. 5/5 would recommend.

Try an earl grey tea latte with almond milk-- yum! Friendly, fast, dogs welcome. Lots of people watching and foot traffic. Do you really need a review of Peet's? …
Did I mention I love coffee.... I love coffee and this place makes a great cup of joe. The people here are super nice. I only wish there were more Peet's Coffee bars.
I told the barista that my husband isnt a coffee drinker but want caffeine and doesnt want the taste so they made his drink very sweet. He was able to drink it.
I ordered a blended drink, but it seemed like if I ordered a milk drink.. It was very watery, I’ve gone to a different location and the guy made it just right..
Great store n coffee love the service and works will come here in the mornings to work n get coffee

Love Peet's and the new mobile app really makes it easy to order, then walk in, bypass the line and just pickup your Coffee, beans and pastries. Awesome!
Good service and coffee but they weren't allowing customers to use the bathroom, which is a dirty trick after selling me two large cups of coffee.
I love Pete's coffee! Starbucks can't measure up to the taste of really good coffee as done by Peet's. I only wish there were more locations.
I enjoy every moment I spend in this cozy, aromatic friendly vive that starts with the magnificent Baristas and All working here. Thank you …
Ordered three shots of expresso, but they gave us a white mocha instead. I don't know how you mess that up. The white mocha was good though.
Peet's is the original gourmet coffee. Never over-roasted, always brewed strong, always fresh and hot, but not scalding. I am a huge fan!
I like the staff and service. It can be crowded and the wait times can be long. Last time I waited for my cappuccino 15 minutes...
Super impressed by the great customer service given by Megan! She was so patient with us when we had issues with a gift card.
Great coffee, great atmosphere, and a decent location. Nice little (huge chain) cafe. The staff are all friendly and fast.
Charming staff, efficient coffeehouse. They have a very lovely four-group La Mazarcco espresso machine pulls a nice shot!
Coffee was hot, there was a line. Staff was efficient, I waited while my friend ordered. Not crowded in the seating area.
Always great service! The staff is also very welcoming every time

Lg. White Chocolate Mocha. Crowded, no seating room inside or out. Held my meeting sitting on a planter in the sun...
The usual Peet's fare. Coffees are excellent. This location is always busy but staff move it along pretty quickl.
Shockingly slooooowwwww! It took me 20 mins to get my coffee!!!! Let's hope these people don't hold real jobs...
At least I didn't get my window smashed and purse stolen while I went in for coffee like yesterday at Starbucks.
Wish this place closed a little later. 5PM seems so early. We had to go to Philz across the street as a result
They serve Matcha without the added sugar or as a latte (we got iced with just water), you just have to ask.
Downtown Willow Glen gathering and people-watching spot. Like dogs? (I like dogs.) There are a lot of dogs.
This coffee shop has the best service I've ever had from a coffee shop even when the line is out the door.
Great location. Busy. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is they really needed to empty the trash.
First time here was very pleased! Order to double mocha with coconut milk and it was done very nicely!

Tried the Cold Brew Fog Latte for the first time. It's officialy my new favorite cold coffee drink.
Cozy spot to have coffee and check out what's happening Downtown Willow Glen, work or meet people
Peet's coffee is superior, atmosphere great, staff are friendly. We go here almost every day.
This is my coffee spot nearest to my home. Good coffee, friendly staff and next to Noah's!
My go to coffee shop now, since there aren't any local coffee shops on Lincoln Ave anymore
Friendly staff, good drinks, cramped seating due to small café and larger customer count.
Pay $5 for a caramel macchiato not sure what I got but it sure wasn't a caramel macchiato
Good coffee, but always stifling hot inside and not many places to sit. Often crowded.
The drinks are always hot and delicious! I'm biased though...I used to work there!
Fabulous. Had the white choc mocha. Timely service and a little fun ppl watching.
Peet's will grind your Peet's coffee beans free as long as the bag is sealed.
Coffee is great but parking is hit & miss. Saturday mornings are very busy!!
Not too safe, Group of regulars sitting around without mask. Won't go back
Big place, seating both in and out. Slow service for a place of this size.
Great coffee! I am a big fan of their seasonal flavors. They do it right!
I love all Peet's. This one was no exception. Great people, great coffee.
Great coffee and service, short lines, good prices, parking can be tight
Always a great cup of coffee or tea. Staff are courteous and efficient.
The counter was a little dirty, but I'm super addicted to them.
Stopped in for a brief bite. Clean location, friendly staff.
They try hard, but EG is a rough place to run a good store
Great place. Great service. Great coffee, tea, and treats!
Yea,... I'm going to need those TPS reports this weekend.
Great coffee but you may have to stand longer to get it.
Excellent for a quick variety of candies and chocolates.
Great coffee, nice place, friendly and competent staff.
They are always consistent even in these awkward times.
Good coffee but this location is pretty slow moving.
Rude, and they take very long to get your order out.
Great people, nice place to hangout with few friends
Great coffee. Just wish they had more locations.
Great coffee. What else is there to write about?
Excellent coffee!Always use Peets even at home.
