"Run down park in a bad neighborhood, tried to take my son to play and let's say I will never be back! My advice is to find a cleaner, safer park to take your children because it's worth the extra drive"
"I don't know what this park used to be like, but it's currently a place where homeless people lay scattered about"
"Okay yes homeless people are here at the park, but they honestly are so respectful and leave you alone"
"LOve this place i never felt more at home in a place then here it is a fun and exciting place to go but let me warn you it not a place for kids or the weak cause this park is straight up a zoo when it comes to the homeless for years the homeless have uswd this park for a hang spot to do things that normal [oelpe wouldnt but that okay cause i have alot of friend here and they are all for the most part good to me love this place"
"I literally cant play with my twins without being stalked by weird druggies trying to "get at me" and the last 2 times I've got there's junkies shooting up out in the open ive also found broken meth pipes and a dirty syringe in the playground"
Run down park in a bad neighborhood, tried to take my son to play and let's say I will never be back! My advice is to find a cleaner, safer park to take your children because it's worth the extra drive. Even the basketball court is barely holding up, you cant see the lines and the hoops are torn down, falling off or missing. Then to top it off, its filled with homeless people and druggies, I was more than disappointed. Parks are for kids to play not a home for people who have chosen a different path in life.
Playground
Disgusting, worn down and filled with people hanging out doing who knows what but you won't feel comfortable playing with your kids and definitely not letting them play alone.
Picnic area
Filled with homeless people and disgusting.
I don't know what this park used to be like, but it's currently a place where homeless people lay scattered about. That itself wouldn't bother me because they're mostly quiet and respectful just trying to take a safe nap, but there is also a lot of drug use. Walking through the grass I saw used/empty paraphernalia here and there, enough that I wouldn't allow children to wander around because you don't know what they might see or pick up. I have nothing against homeless people, but I have a problem with junkies, especially if they aren't respectful enough to clean up after themselves in a place intended for families with children. 2 stars because there's potential for it to be a nice place.
Okay yes homeless people are here at the park, but they honestly are so respectful and leave you alone. Why we may ask? Mm... Maybe because they are still Human beings! BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER!! ❤️❤️ Anyways I give this park a 5/5 honestly it's nice, quite and they have the COLDEST water fountain!!! I am not lying, it was 110 outside I ran out of water♀️ saw this park and instantly found the water fountain OMG within 2.5seconds I had water like it just came out the freezer at home ❤️ THIS IS WHAT THE CITY OF PHX SHOULD DO FOR US ARIZONANS!!! SUPER COLD WATER FOUNTAINS ! ✍️
LOve this place i never felt more at home in a place then here it is a fun and exciting place to go but let me warn you it not a place for kids or the weak cause this park is straight up a zoo when it comes to the homeless for years the homeless have uswd this park for a hang spot to do things that normal [oelpe wouldnt but that okay cause i have alot of friend here and they are all for the most part good to me love this place
I literally cant play with my twins without being stalked by weird druggies trying to "get at me" and the last 2 times I've got there's junkies shooting up out in the open ive also found broken meth pipes and a dirty syringe in the playground. If you're a woman going alone with kids I highly reccomend just finding another park the creeps from the surrounding neighborhoods are very scary!
This park has all this nice stuff like the softball field, tennis court, basketball hoops, volleyball court, kids playground, swimming pool. Everything but would I come back here, hell no. Homeless people are all over this place. It's very clear the city just pretends like they care about this park. Don't come here. It's boo-boo.
Omg tent city is literally right there I got no problem with homeless people I've been there but don't all gather together right on main Street or maybe that's where they get designated to so many empty buildings yet people on the street its sad just like so much food that it gets wasted and there's people starving in the world
5 stars for the new skatepark here. They converted the old unused tennis courts into a skatepark. It has a lot of small obstacles great for beginners or advanced skaters to practice. Just really fun and accessible to all. Good for younger kids learning and older people who want to skate and not go too big.
Nice park, the bathrooms aren't open though. Plenty of things at the playground to interact with. Basketball courts, and lot's of open grassy areas. Good spot to bring your pets. There's a couple crack heads here and there, mainly at night but it wouldn't be a Phoenix park without it!
Not the worst park itself overall. Small and decent, stopped here with my daughter to eat lunch. But the problem was the park had over 10 homeless people literally camped out with things hanging up "tenting" areas. Sad to sight to see. Would not recommend bringing your children here.
There are a lot of homeless people who've made this Park their home. It's also a hang out spot for people (Teenagers & Adults) partaking in a lot of illegal drug usage. The side walks are occasionally tagged with hate messages and racist remarks.
It's not too during the day...but if you like park hours somewhat close early and just the neighborhood is probably the reason why it's just not the best or greatest area to be after dark or in general really. As far as I know. / I've Been told!
The park isnt what it used to be, it is cleaned up a little better but its just run down. I took my son there once to play and wont be back again. We played on the basketball courts as well and you couldn't even see the lines on the court
Large, open spaces, baseball diamond, basketball court and playground. The playground is not very large and the equipment is pretty old. The users do not take very good care of it and there is constantly trash strewn throughout the park.
Perry Park is a hidden gem! Its cleanliness and peaceful ambiance provide a perfect escape. The scenic views and well-kept pathways create a serene atmosphere. Whether you're strolling or picnicking, it's a tranquil haven in the city.
Maybe I'm used to greener parks and I'm being biased due to that. The park looks run down. Things look functional, people are having fun, but everything could and should be a little cleaner, a little greener and newer.
Homeless and drug use everywhere. Phoenix does nothing. Sadly should just tear down the land and build houses. Very unsafe a lot of break ins , defacation on the side walks. Nothing being done with our city taxes.
Very nice park with a nice playground and huge open grass area. Too many homeless and vagrants. We witnessed a little altercation where a guy got his bike back from a kid who stole it. Street justice served.
It's an OK park, good place to play soccer and small games of basketball but that's about it, maybe a cookout. I wouldn't bring my kids here if I had any, this place is always crawling with drug addicts
I went there for the basketball court and the concrete was cracked all over. The irrigation flooded the court eventually so I had to leave early. The baskets actually had nets on them which was a plus!
Its a nice park. But there is definitely alot of homeless people hanging around. It seems kinda sketchy. But other wise its decent park. You just have to be careful with your belonging just in case
This place I love it's very scenic and it's got a little hoodlums around there and some rich people but it's all good we all the same we all come from the same place we're all human beings right
The Park itself is a cute one, bit it has a lot of homeless people constantly asking you for things. You can't enjoy your time there. It is sad, because I like the park, but it is what it is....
Love the Mexican culture surrounding this place - dancing, games, and music. To catch a quite serene moment visit daytime or before close! I felt right at home here and love this district....
This is no longer a family friendly park . Over ran by homeless encampment , drugs , and there’s someone sitting in the parking lot just vomiting everywhere. I WOULD NOT TAKE MY CHILDREN HERE
My 3 kids, ages 2, 6 & 12 really enjoyed the pool. All of the staff was professional, 2 of them exceptionally helpful, including making sure we got sunscreen when ours ran out. Thank you!
Too many homelessbhanging around in groups. Okay during the day. Scary to be there after 5pm. Even when soccer games are going on they are off to the side smoking weed and drinking.
Park cleanliness has improved recently. Soccer fields are in ok shape, pool open in season. Ramada's available, along with some built in grills. Children's playground looks nice.
That didn't work the schedule out for some of this year and that's the times and everything up and people didn't get a chance to use the swim like they normally do every year
A guy was doing graffiti on kids slide in broad daylight. I didn't like that. Nice new skatepark tho! Other wise avoid the area at all costs. Abandon hope all ye who enter.
Diamond the WonderPup and I are walking around with our new pal, Jake. We had an exciting time for all! No problems unless the soccer/futball players dare not let us play.
Always is full of homeless ppl is not at good place for children play ground to danger place the city dont do anything for make something for be safe place for childrens
Pretty ghetto. I deliver for a company in this area often and this park has been taken over by the homeless and tweakers. Drive a few more miles and find a nicer park.
I Sat to eat lunch and notice a lot of people that had there clothes with them or bags set beside them. I became sad. The park is a good place to be for everyone.
park is currently being renovated, other than that it's pretty ok kinda small nice pool, lots of homeless people hanging there wouldn't send my little ones alone
Too much trash all around it looks like no one picks the trash, also too many people trying to sell young kids drugs, homeless people pissing all over. No good
Not friendly atmosphere. Mostly druggies or hoodlums there. On the plus side the area was clean when I was there and the lawn had been recently mowed.
Business park with my kids who were playing a soccer game. Facilities seem nice the Landscaping was well kept. Overall a pretty nice little Park
A huge transient presence. It does have pool if that's any consolation. Soccer practice makes Virginia street a hassle to travel on some nights
Grew up going to this park. I'm glad to see they've cleaned it up again. We had my daughters baby shower their and it was beautiful! More
Quiet park for sitting and relaxing. There were some homeless people loitering but they were quiet and respectful of the environment.
MY HUSBAND AND I & OUR 2 DOGS PRINCESS & PRECIOUSE HAD A GOOD MORNING WALKING AROUND THE WHOLE PARK …
Besides the homeless people walking in the middle of the game, laying around, or drinking the park was hood but we had a ball!
Its pretty nice and quiet even though it is a park. Not too many people are there. A couple of crazies but overall a nice park
It's not too bad, there's a public pool, play ground for the kids. Public restrooms, basketball court, soccer field etc.
Looked like a nice playground, but we didn't stop because there were homeless people sleeping on the play structures.
Spanky aka d or diago said that he gives this 5 because gizells cuteshe's a life guard at the pools …
Equipment is fun for the kids. The people, area, and overall trash littering the ground make this park a last resort.
Nice park just a lot of tweakers and homeless in the park where families walk around just trying to enjoy the park.
Been going here since i was a child...now I take my kids....never....its filled with homeless and drugs now...sad
Found out my so called boyfriend was having sex at this park ...what a disgrace ..it's a place for kids idiots
The basketball court is what I visit when I go. It's alright. Not too dirty it's kept up for the most part.
The park is in bad condition there's homeless people everywhere not anywhere I would want to take my family
Nice large open area but has been taken over by groups of homeless people. Not a good place for kids.
Many displaced people at the park. Difficult to enjoy when feeling unsafe due to possible drug use.
It was clean for the most part and seemed like a good place to relax possibly have a small picnic.
It's a nice big Park but sometimes homeless and drug dealers hang out there and druggies Junkies
This place is always full of tweakers and shopping cart homeless. Very depressing to drive by.
I love it because it was relaxing has nice green grass it's nice I enjoy it …
Good fields to play but don't be out too late, there's lots of homeless that reside there.
Kids love to play here. It's really been cleaned up and they are remodeling in the spring
Lots of homeless at night and weekends and occasionally have live music or craft fairs...
There was a bum sleeping on the pixnic bench, but didn't borher anyone. Too drunk.
I used to hoop here, No Competition. Never lost on this basketball court. EVER!!!!
Its dirty n so n e strange people hang out there. At least there. Was a bathroom
I would give it 5 stars but there are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts
Nice park most of the time. There are times the homeless over run the park.
It's nice during the summer. The pool is deep and it has many life guards
Other then picking up other people's trash it was a very nice experience
Pool huge sidewalk that goes all around the park great place to walk.
Small, peaceful, family oriented and clean. Also drug-free. …
Love that park...however its unfortunate there are so many homeless.
To much homeless and drugs around is not good place for kids anymore
i love this park i like it cause i can always find a good time there
Its okay but i never stop there too long mostly tweakers live there.
Homeless everywhere. Huge Homeless camps. Trash everywhere. Avoid
Great! Riding my bike, sunshine, music going, no politics. …
This place gets 5 stares if you can deal w the homelessness!!
Looking good for today. Nice and clean with friendly people.
Great as a kid, but as I got olderi refrained more and more
Homeless people EVERYWHERE! CANT EVEN TAKE MY KIDS TO PARK
Nice place family park to play soccer and other activities
Great location and nice swimming pool...right on 32nd st
Excellent park to take the kids to. Strongly recommend.
Nice but small Park never went to the swimming pool.
Great picnic spot.Soccer baseball Olympic size pool.
To many addicts. No respect. Not just that park.
Like the people there. Felt safe during the day.
Park is kept clean. Soccer games regularly too.
This is a nice place to hangout or barbecue.
