We recently switched to Dr. Kang's vet office about four months ago. He had a glowing recommendation from a friend of ours and his office is close to our home. Our decision to seek out a new vet was due to two of our pets having special needs that sometimes required swift attention. One of our cats struggles with urinary blockages and high anxiety. Dr. Kang made some simple diet changes and enviromental suggestions that have helped immensely. Our other pet unfortunately lost his battle with lymphoma and we had to make the decision to say goodbye rather quickly due to his rapid decline. Dr. Kang gave us recommendations for at home euthansia providers and was on standby in case someone couldn't come to our home in time. We appreciated everything he did to assist this process; we were able to let our friend go peacefully and painlessly, at home. Dr. Kang and his team have been very quick to answer calls, fill prescriptions and help with anything we need. They're very friendly and professional. We feel very safe and happy with their care of our pets.

Ash has been going to Dr. Kang for over three years. She loves him. Ash is not arrived to go and see him. She loves him so much that whenever we go for walks by Pet Care Ash demands to go inside and see Dr. Kang to say. I have recommended him to pet owners in our neighborhood. They also love him. He is kind and gentle with the the Ash and her friends. We went to him because Ash had gone to another vet and was not getting better from the medications he had given her. He had even recommended more test at the tune of $500.00 and couldn't promise he could fine answer. Dr. Kang did an exam and discover Ash had a tick. He pulled the tick and prescribed some medications for Ash. She was better in a few days but I keep giving her the medicine for a week as instructed. If you want a vet who cares and has reasonable prices you want Dr Kang. He's the best.

Worst experience ever! If I could I wouldn’t even rate a star. Took my dog to get checked about a couple weeks ago. She got blood work done along with X-rays ! According to the vets my dog only had something wrong with his paw due to a nerve! Spent almost 1k For them to send her back home with some meds and only handed me a paper stating that she was “fine” well as of today! My dog is dead! Now why wasn’t I informed she was actually I’ll & in her last days? Why didn’t they inform me it was more serious than they thought? Right cause they don’t care, but they did care about collecting a check . Next time please fully detail inform those seeking medical attention what their pets actually have and need. Don’t just send a bill & a pet back home to die without their owners awareness.

Borderline incompetent. We took our dog to investigate a gastrointestinal issue. Dr. Kang did not hesitate to recommend blood tests and poop sample, prescribe medicine, then another round of the exact same tests, then another batch of pills, then wave hands and give us the choice to come in for another poop sample or find a specialist on our own. Throughout these interactions, Dr. Kang and their assistant were slow in response, condescending, and showing a lack of empathy. We are so happy with our decision to seek a second opinion and follow the advice of a different doctor who finally placed the health of our dog ahead of their own financial gain and resolved the issue with a simple change of diet.

Dr Kang spayed our puppy yesterday. He did a great job with the surgery. However, he gave her a rabies vaccine without asking us or telling us. I assume this is part of the routine with the rescue organization from which our dog came but we as the owner of our pet do not agree with this early vaccination. Our vet (not Dr Kang) believes it is unsafe to give the very potent rabies vaccine at a young age. We should have been consulted before she was given this vaccine. Now she has to recover from surgery and from the rabies vaccine. I’ve never given a one-star review. This one-star is meant to show how furious I am that we were not consulted before our dog was given a potent vaccine.

Dr. Kang has been taking care of Toby and Chance for 7 years and we have ZERO COMPLAINTS! Toby loves going to Dr. Kang and walks straight into the back. Chance is another story- not many vets can handle him at 90 lbs and volatile around the vet. Dr. Kang is patient and also very cautious and smart when he works with him. His wellness plans make it easy to stay on top of your dog's health. Prevention is much cheaper than finding out an unexpected expense later on. He also works with rescues and provides them with critical resources. If you are looking for a vet in the area- do not go anywhere else.

Dr. Kang (pronounced 'kong') takes very good care of my pets. He's kind, knowledgeable, and not pushy. I've trusted him with the lives of my pets for 8 years now, and have followed him from his last place where he practiced, to his own veterinary he has open now. There is a monthly pay program - which works VERY well for me! You can pay a monthly amount and as your pets' needs arise, you simply make an appointment, go get your shots & check ups and you don't have to come up with $200 or $400+ bucks all at once. Thanks Pet Care Animal Hospital! And thank you Dr. Kang & terrific staff!

We’ve had the best experience with Dr. Kang thus far. He has never prescribed our puppy any unnecessary medicines, his first go to option is “let’s see if your puppy can fight it”. We are first time fur parents and have asked him the so many questions and often the same question a million times but he never gets worked up and always responds patiently to all our queries! The staff here are also very welcoming, they are very accommodating to get you in the same day, esp when even the slightest thing is not right with your puppy.

We've been through 4 different vets and from our experiences, Dr. Kang has truly been the most honest veterinarian we've had the pleasure of interacting with. He isn't like other vets who charge you treatments just to make an extra buck, he truly cares for the well-being of your pet and makes sure to explain his findings thoroughly with you and answer any questions you may have with patience and kindness. I would highly recommend any pet owner to pay his clinic a visit, you'll be in great hands.

NOV 2021 visit for a routine visit for my doggo. Hard to assess the emotional connection between dr and client as covid protocols had me waiting outside in the car whilst the dog was examined. The process went smoothly and the doc and I chatted on the phone. Not so personable but effective. Staff was helpful and friendly. Fees were reasonable. Make your appt ASAP as there was a couple week wait to get in. Parking is private lot and there’s a Starbucks within short walking distance.

Last month, my husband and I got our very first dog together after wanting one for so many years. We knew we wanted the best for our puppy, so we were pleased that our search led us to Pet Care Animal Hospital. From the Puppy Health Plan (which covers vaccinations, office visits, neuter surgery and more) to the professionalism, care, and wisdom that Dr. Kang and all his staff display, we can trust that our little guy will be in good hands every time he is taken to this clinic.

After recently getting a dog and hearing horrible things about other animal hospitals in the area, I found this one and have been in love since. Every time i’ve gone since I’m greeted with warm welcomes and excellent customer service. The one associate with red hair is always there to help me understand and describe what is getting done and what needs to get done to calm any fear I had previously. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!!

Dr. Kang is an amazing Vet. We've been taking our almost 1 year old doodle puppy to him regularly, sometimes for the silliest of reasons, we've always left feeling better. He does not over-prescribe medicines, and has never once misdiagnosed an ailment in our lil pupper. UPDATE: Our dooddle is now 2+ years old and we continue to visit Dr. Kang for all things Dog. Our dood goes in wagging his tail each time.

Took my cat to Dr. Kang for an ear mite test when no other vets in the area wanted to provide a diagnostic without an expensive cytology lab test. Dr. Kang was able to do a quick swab test on Bailey and confirm that she did not have ear mites, just a mild infection. Efficient, affordable and great customer service to provide me a diagnosis over the phone. Thank you Dr. Kang!

My cat took rabies vaccination there. Then I received a letter from the city of San Jose saying that I need to pay a license fee for my cat with all my personal information and my cat information get disclosed. Apparently the vet gave my information out but they never informed me about this when I visited them. This is a disappointing experience.

Dr. Kang exam my dog, Copper earlier and I’m so grateful that is our veterinarian. He is awesome and he has all of my 3 dogs as his patients. He has all my trust to treat 3 dogs for years now. Give a try with Dr. Kang services and you will be happy that your is in good hands. I love his front desk assistants. They are all friendly as well.

My dog Ella has been seeing Dr. Kang for a little over a year and I’ve been very impressed with the professionalism, kindness, and overall care my dog has received. Best vet we have worked with. We have a reactive dog but she always liked Dr. Kang. He has a nice, calm energy. He always gave us good, realistic medical options. We found the monthly plan with annual teeth cleaning included to be a good deal. I’m sad we moved away because its been 3 years and we have not found another vet like him!

The staff are very helpful and nice. The Doctor was very patient in giving us the results of that days treatment and the following days the other Doctor was very patient helpful in calming me when I was worried about my dogs recovery. Most importantly the cost was very fair. I give them 5 stars and he will be Taters vet from now on.

We love Dr. Kong, the vet here. Pet Care is a little far from our home, but they work with Copper's Dream, a wonderful rescue organization from which we got our first puppy. Dr. Kong and staff were so good with our then skittish puppy that we stayed. He's been a fantastic vet for us. I highly recommend.

I have had dogs for the past 17 years and been to so many different vets till I found dr. Kang 3 years ago. Best experience ever, I feel very confidence with his knowledge and got results every time taking my dog Bunny there. Very fair with his rates. Wish I would have found him long time ago.

Dr. Kang is the best! I took my little girl in because she was feeling sick and bleeding from her nose. I was so stressed out but Dr. Kang helped her get better. He is patient and kind. I don't just trust anybody with my Milly but I'm so glad Dr. Kang was able to help get her back to health.

Dr. Kang is warm and easy person to talk with. He is very good with our a cat. He has a medical plan that we pay for monthly and most of what we need is included, like shots, yearly check-up, any other check-ups that may come-up throughout the year along with teeth cleaning.

Dr. Kang and team are welcoming, warm, knowledgeable, and patient to both you and your fur baby. He is literally everything you would want in a vet. Very thankful we met him today. As long as he’s practicing we will definitely be coming to him. 15/10 highly recommend.

The best vet I have ever had. Dr Raj Kang provides sincere care for my dog. He is patient and answers all of my questions without rushing me out of the exam, (like I have experienced with other vets.) I would definitely recommend him to every dog owner.

Dr Kong and his staff were absolutely without a doubt the best, i wanna thank him for taking such good care of my baby chihuahua Oscar they were very caring super patient and so inexpensive compared to other vets I wish i could have found him sooner.

The care fits the price you pay. They have very affordable flea medication. And they dose it out in quantities that allow you to not come to the vet office every month. The hours are good too. Being open on Saturdays even partial is very convenient.

This is a small practice run by Dr. Kang, he did a great job with my cat's dental care, without all the fussing, hand holding, and extra fees that some of the bigger practices charge. I will definitely bring my pets to him in the future.

Dr.kang is amazing. They took my puppy in on the first day itself and accommodated us during covid times. Really sweet. I also think their pet care plan is amazing. It covers the visits and spay/neuter surgery. Highly recommend it.

They don't offer a lot of services compared to other vet. They also have an incredibly long wait time no matter when your appointment time is. It's even worse during COVID. I cancelled subscription and will never come here again.

They charge $40 if you’re 15mins late. I understand they must try and control their schedules, but despite being regular customers, the assistant insisted there are no exceptions. Disappointing—terrible customer care.

Dr Kang and staff are friendly and super knowledgeable. They're even understanding of our excited-to-meet anyone peeing when they enter the room. Prices seem fine, but I have no point of comparison (first pupper).

Dr. Kang is one of the best vets in the area. I truly reccomend him and his services. His pet insurance is amazing and he explains what all of his charges are so there is no surprises when you go to check out.
