I love this store they have been so wonderful to me I was really struggling I needed some help and they came to my Aid in the biggest way they are knowledgeable they won't sell you something you don't need and they go well above and beyond for your pet and for you couldn't be more pleased more happy and more grateful for the people that run this place and that work here they are fantastic I would drive out of my way if there was 10 stores between me and them that would sell me pet supplies at a cheaper price I would still go to pet Planet in Bennington and I will be a loyal customer for life.( and when I say for life that's not hyperbole. Like until one of us dies and even after that for instance in the unlikely event that I die before my dog because my lifespan is like 60 80 years if I'm really lucky and smart but if he's really really really really really lucky and smart lol he might make it to 20 so I'm going to need a new best friend like I'm not just going to deny myself having best friends for the rest of my and I shouldn't have to feel guilty about wanting to be happy and having a best friend so yeah I'm going to rescue another dog at that time maybe I'll get two best friends this time who knows we'll deal with that when the time comes. Now if I'm a normal person and something tragic happens to me and I am not very very lucky or smart and I die before Lusus does I have it written in my will that I want his trust fund to only be spent at pet planet in Bennington and that he needs to go every Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday at least one time during each of those days sometimes more. He will let you know. for life)

This store has always been extremely helpful. I have been shopping at the Pet Planet chain for years and this is my 3rd local store. I love this location: the owners are always going the extra mile to make recommendations and to be helpful. They take time to ensure their staff do the same. Yesterday a fire destroyed 2 homes in our neighborhood. I went by afterwards in the snow and rain to grab a small bag of raw diet for a displaced elderly couple and their schnauzer after speaking to them and hearing they could not go back inside. I told the staff what was going on and for help finding a good raw food. The staff member didn't hesitate to match the bag I had bought and also donated a bully stick and 2 sampler bags full of treats, toys and coupons. When I delivered the items the staff member pulled up behind me: she had called the owners and they wanted the couples personal info so that they can help out by donating items later to get the family anything they need for the dog as they rebuild♡ turns out the couple are also long time customers! Thank you for your community support

Ive been coming to pet planet for a really long time. Its not unusual to bring your dog in or for dogs to feel the need to mark in the store. Anyone who goes to these places knows this. So I dont know whos genius marketing idea it was to place paper bags along the floor. My dog had an accident on the store and some of it hit the paper bag. The girl working forced me to pay for the whole bag of items (35 dollars ) rather than just replacing the bag. The girl working was extremely unapologetic and as you can see from the photos there was literally a single drop on this bag. Really not impressed with having to pay for a poor marketing choice. Also my dog cant have any contents of this bag because he has no teeth so its a complete and total waste. Really dissappointed because the rest of the staff there have been amazing. But id rather drive further than return to this location.

I took my furbaby, Jude, into Pet Planet in Beddington today to get a few stocking stuffer treats, but ended up leaving with enough to fill three stockings! My bad! Haha! He had a great time with the wonderful staff, who are so awesome with pets! Prices are really good, quality of products are fantastic, but the customer service and atmosphere tops everything. This is a top-notch pet store that I would recommend to everybody. Jude says "Two paws up!" Edit-I also took him in for his birthday treats...no place he'd rather be!

This is the absolute best pet store in the area. The people who work there are super helpful and knowledgeable. They have not only helped us find a better and affordable food for our dog, they even went the extra mile of phoning me a few days later to see if the new food was agreeing with our dog. Amazing! From what I know it is also owned by a Beddington local resident and not some fund company. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a pet.

This is a great little shop. The owner/manager (I forgot his name) was super helpful trying to work through us looking for a new food for our dog. Gave us tones of information and recommendations to make our decision. Also the little treats they have by the front door are great. Our dog loves them and they don't make him gassy, which makes it a lot better for us...nothing like your dog running you out of the house. Will continue to come back.

I like to support pet-related businesses that don't sell animals. Pet Planet is staffed by knowledgeable, caring people and has all the premium foods and products that I would ever want for my dog. They have a program with Acana where if you buy 10 of the same size bags, you get the 11th free. I can switch between flavors and still earn towards a free bag. Prices are reasonable as well.

The lady working recommended NaturPet Hairball Care when I asked if cat grass would help with my cats hair ball. Well, I took her suggestion, and then I had to take my cat to the vet 5 min after treatment. My cat had trouble breathing, dilated eyes, and collapsed on her side. I had to rush my cat to the vest for a $500 trip. Will not be coming here again and beware using this product.

The staff was very helpful and patient, answering all my questions about what is best for my new rescue pup. I was able to get an XL wire frame kennel (big enough for a full grown rottweiler) for $116 because she gave me a $10 new pet discount. She also included a free small food sample (around 350 g) made from high quality ingredients and a free ball! I will be back :)

On Nov 28 (approx 1345h) I went in to purchase cat litter. The bag was marked $14.89. However, the bag came up at $15.99. I told this to the employee, and she just took the tag and threw it in the garbage. I asked if I was going to pay the price that was marked on the bag. She completely ignored me. Appalling customer service. I will never shop at this location again.

Phenomenal staff. Very well educated! The young girl with the shorter blonde hair was very kind and helpful. She never rushed me out even tho the store was almost closing. She suggested a few different options for my puppy instead of trying to just sell me whatever. It felt as tho she really cared and knew what she was talking about. I will defanitly be coming back

First visit and they're celebrating being at this location for 5 years! Enjoyed the red velvet cake. The lady that helped me was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Trying out some free cat food samples (dry & moist) she provided, and others on sale for Black Friday, to discover which ones my cats will eat and not be allergic to. Will be back.

Been using this pet store for years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. All the staff are very friendly and informative. Great prices and convenient location. I've never carried a bag of dog good out to my car(even though I insisted on carrying them myself). They always go above and beyond. Will be a customer and highly recommend.

Our puppy Maya loves the people here, and so do we! They are so nice and helpful with recommendations for food and other stuff, it is our puppy's favorite day of the week when we go visit this place, she gets socialization and treats and lots of love and affection! 10/10 highly recommend this place, best pet planet in the city! :)

This place is the best!! We're in the middle of the pandemic and I'm out of catfood. I called 3 other places, all of which were completely useless. Calvin at Pet Planet saved the day! Extremely helpful, courteous, accomodating, and honoured the social distancing we have to follow. This is my new go-to pet store.

Awesome place for pet supplies. I like the staff here, they are always friendly and welcome me. The prices for frozen dog products are really good and same with dry foods. The dog toys seem to be a bit pricey. They have lots of great treats for dogs. I go there about once every week and I always bring my dog.

Staff here are always friendly and happy to see animals along with knowledgeable about the products they sell. I’ve found it’s also reasonably priced compared to other pet stores. Been coming here for a while now and this standard has always been consistent with all staff!

I love the store as it's always clean and well stocked. The variety and price is good too. Only issue I can never seem to find staff except at the till. No one is ever at the rear or middle of the store to help. However, when u do get help, they are amazing …

I like to take my dog here for washing because the dryer is really powerful. Best one I have seen so far. About $12 for pet wash. Includes the shampoo, conditioner, air dry and towel.

Staff are very nice here. They have a good selection of raw and single ingredients. There is a wash tub in the back for our dog which has every 6th wash free. Highly recommended.
