Peter O. Knight Airport is a small but convenient airport located on Davis Island. I recently had the pleasure of flying out of this airport and overall, my experience was quite positive. The airport is relatively small, so there were no long lines or crowds to navigate. I was able to check in and go through security quickly and efficiently. The TSA agents were friendly and professional, and the whole process was hassle-free. Once inside, I was pleased to find that there were a few options for food and drinks. The airport has a small café with some light snacks and beverages, which was a nice touch. There was also a small gift shop with some souvenirs and travel essentials. The airport facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my time there. I appreciated the ease of getting in and out of the airport, as well as the convenience of its location on Davis Island. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Peter O. Knight Airport and would recommend it to anyone looking for a low-stress, hassle-free travel experience. While it may not have all the amenities of a larger airport, it more than makes up for it in convenience and ease of use.

Peter O'Knight is a (the best) private airport in this state for small to midsize jet or prop aircraft & charter or recreational flight(s) adjacent to the Davis lsland yacht basin amidst beautiful sunsets, it really is one of the finest aviation facilities & locale's in west central Florida including the southeast part of the/this country folks

Food court was pretty bad. TSA gave me a hard time and decided a formal pat down was necessary. Luckily I had prepared and didn't wear any boxers so they had their hands full and I made them real uncomfortable if you know what I mean. Terminal lobby was chique though and my flight was fair.

Very helpful staff at the FBO. Courtesy car available helped me when in a bind once. Scenic location at the edge of the bay. Two runways to help wend wind changes direction. It's great that they have an AWOS setup. It's too bad about residential area being so noise sensitive to the north.

DO NOT use this airport. No control tower. No clear direction on which channel to do take off requests. Look up the amount of accidents that happen at this airport .... even deaths due to negligence. If you value your life go anywhere else.

I really like flying into this airport. Their crew car is the nicest I've seen at any small airport. The staff is very friendly and acomodating. We always enjoy flying there!

Great local airport with great views and a friendly staff. Flight lessons & even a place for a helicopter ride. Located on Davis Islands right by the water.

A very nice Airport with excellent services. Unfortunately there is not a restaurant on the field but the FBO staff says that plans are underway to add one.

So peaceful. A new spot for the kids to kick back and take it easy. Be careful or boats and the shoreline is small. Bit its still worth the peace

The airport is only steps from the bay. So we enjoyed the best of both. Nice place to go for beautiful scenery and relaxation.
