Not impressed at all with this location. Tanning beds, hydro massage beds, bathrooms, workout area were all filthy. I was temporarily living in Nashville and went to this location a total of 2 times. The second time I went tipped me over the I'm never coming back here. My first visit I noticed garbage on the floor throughout the gym and the staff was more interested in talking with each other than helping me. My second visit I went to use the tanning bed and I had to wait on the staff again to help me cuz they were talking and laughing with each other. Finally in the room to talk and the bed was so gross no one cleaned it. I went and told them at the front desk and they said here use this bed which was also not clean. I went back to the front desk and was told we don't clean the tanning beds or the hydro massage beds but once a week. I was like what?! You have body fluids in these beds!! It's a health issue. Told them what I saw in other areas of the gym and they were like the same owner here owns all the PF's in Nashville and this is the cleanest one soooooo. Needless to say I didn't go back and didn't go to the other PF's in the area. Thank goodness I'm no longer in the area. I've been to PF's in 6 different states and many more different cities. This is by far the worst one I ever had been to.

I used to love this place until recently. In the early morning hours of 3/26/2016 someone attempted to break in to my wife's car while she was inside tanning and working out. The perpetrators stuck some kind of tool, probably a screwdriver, into the lock on the divers side and severely damaged the door handle and lock. There were two other cars that also had damage to them as the thieves broke out the back windshield to these vehicles. Now I know that we all assume some risk anytime we patronize an establishment but apparently, from information I gathered from speaking with the police and some of the employees of Planet Fitness, this is not the first time that vehicles have been damage in such a way while folks were inside working out. I wanted to get this out to the public so that all of you who work out at this location are informed and also to put some pressure on the management/ownership of Planet Fitness to do something about the security in the parking lot.

Planet fitness is the worst gym that I have ever been to. It doesn’t matter what location or what state I go to, they are all the same, obviously. This location specifically is terrible. The only reason I still go here is because I’m waiting to cancel. I’m looking into a new gym membership elsewhere that will have more to offer. The tanning bed quality is absolutely terrible. This facility is always dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting.Not impressed at all. Because I got a membership in a different state, I can’t just cancel at the location that I go to and the state that I live in. I actually have to send a letter to the other state explaining why I want to cancel my already expired membership so it is it reoccurring in my bank account.What a joke! Do yourself a favor, when you go to look for a gym...bypass this chain and find a quality gym.

Front desk staff was horrible. The advertisement for Planet Fitness is not honored by this store. I signed up online was told I'd get a tshirt and tour along with a information on my local gym. Was told there was a 2 week free membership before you sign the contract... not this club! Never got a tour, never got any information on the club, just handed me a card and told me to scan. Never got a tshirt, was told, "we don't do that here"...not for nothing but if I was told I'd get it, I should get it... They were very condescending when advising that my guest wasn't allowed to use the massage chairs, and bed. If I could have given negative stars, I would have just because of the way I was treated as a new guest to the gym. I'm waiting for my year to be over and they can suck rocks. I'll pay more money to be treated better!

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was my first time signing up for planet fitness in I decided to try out the black card membership. The guy who set it up for me, gave me the completely wrong information. Not only that, but he signed me up for a subscription that is a one-year Black card subscription and you get a free watch with it. I was never told that’s what I was getting signed up for or that was even an option. So not only am I paying $25 a month, but now I have to pay an extra 60 bucks just to get out of the subscription. When I went to talk to them about it. They kept saying they can’t do anything about it. When something like this happens they should at least discount one of your months or something. The one time I decide to sign up for a subscription, and it’s a terrible experience

I've been in gyms for 40+ years. This is the worst gym I've been in by far. The staff is unfriendly with 2 exceptions. No gym rules are ever enforced. Let's not forget the times I have been there when no employees were present or the 2 times in 4 days the gym was closed for plumbing problems yet no one was there working. A plumbing issue is a great reason to close the locker rooms but not the entire gym. No signage informing the members to return their equipment or allow others to work in. I've seen multiple people sitting on weight machines for 30+ minutes scrolling through their phones yet no staff tells them to move on. Enforcement of the rules sucks but that is part of the job. Get it together please. Open the doors, police the members and be nice!

As a black card member, I have gone to PF all over the Southeast and several other areas and never found such rude, trifling staff. I drove all the way across town in huge pain for a hydromassage. The girl wouldn't look up my membership after the card reader failed nor would she call my home gym--or even let me use the restroom. I have used this gym before as it is the nearest one that is not in too bad a neighbourhood to be open 24-hours, but there is always a bit of a glitch, and I have to get uppity. This time, I nearly wet myself and had to go back across town in pain and wait through the night in pain until the gym in the bad neighbourhood opened. I'm seeking a new 24-hour gym with a massage table even though I LOVE PF everywhere else.

If you work regular hours and intend to lift weights dont sign up to this gym. Its always ultra crowded in the morning before people head to work and in the evenings after everyone gets off work. The gym is a good 80% cardio equipment that gets used less than half as much as the weights, and machines. During regular hours that tends to mean half the gym is empty and at the same time every single cable, bench and half the machines are all taken with people waiting to use them. Numerous times now I end up having to cut my workouts short or lose sleep waking up super early/going past 10PM to get a good workout in and almost every visit I have to find alternatives to my usual workouts because everything I need for my usual routine is taken.

I have had the best experience at planet fitness. My name is Tiffany and I've never been to the gym in my life, not even stepped inside of one. I was recommended by someone I work with to get a membership for a month and what sold me was they said that the tanning bed was included. Being the Tanner I am I joined, and I haven't looked back since. I like it that I can get off work each and every day if I'd like and head straight there. I can enjoy the massage room, the stand-up tanning booth, in any machine you could ever think about to work out on. And what really blew my mind was that even have a shower with blow dryers how cool is that. If you do not belong to a gym I highly recommend that you join planet fitness you won't regret it.

Been coming here a while now. Quite a good gym, however. The showers are not fit for purpose. Just lately the water has been cold. I don't really like a cold shower. In a permanent state of disrepair. The shower heads are all over the place. Empty shampoo bottles & other detritus often litter the place. The shower area needs to be checked every hour in my opinion. Someone needs to take responsibility for this aspect of the gym. I attach a short video of the showers in another gym I go to. They have just been refurbished. Proximity switch to activate the water. The temperature is preset, at the right temperature in my view. A proper rose (shower head). Less to go wrong. All top notch & very nice.

I've been a member for close to a year now. For the most part I have no issues. The gym is clean. The staff have been friendly. It would be awesome if they built in a sauna room and added a few more massage chairs. Also its disappointing the club I attend got rid of the digital scale and had an old school balance scale. I will say I am a big woman and my initial fear was people were going to gawk, stare, and make rude comments. I've had a few people looking, but not to the point where I feel uncomfortable, and no one had said anything rude. Overall it's a great gym for the price.

I have only used the gym for working out so far. The one time I tried to use any of the black card services, there wasn’t anyone at the front desk to assist with this. Another time I was buying a drink at the front desk and the guy I was working with was very courteous. However, there was a girl working the desk dealing with another customer. She had some questions about how to help that person so she jumped into and cut off the transaction we were in the middle of conducting. This location is fine for working out but I won’t be looking into any other services here anymore.

Great, staff of understanding individuals whom are always willing to assist going over and beyond for customers. Personable management on site seemingly to always have their sleeves rolled up working aside both clients and co-workers alike for betterment of the company and it's reputation. Just moved to Nashville. Every gym I've ever been to has offered a 7 day trial, expecting that if it's a quality gym, you'll opt into the membership. Went in and asked about this and was told they do a day pass for $22, when the membership is $10/month. So you're saying you want me to pay two months membership fees for one day?? I told them ha no thanks and walked out. Seems pretty fishy that they try to trap you into money before you get 3 steps into the place. If they believed in this gym then they would trust that you would too.

Came here for one day on the way home from work, just to get out of traffic. Nice place, not all of the equipment was together or available (only 3 yoga mats for stretching in the back) and the gym was packed, which was great, I love seeing all the folks working out. But it was kinda hard to keep to my planned workout, I still got it done just not the way I planned, no biggie. The staff was friendly and helpful, the locker room was clean didn't smell like a locker room. I'd go here again to avoid sitting in traffic.

I my planet fitness was low rated even with it's very clean environment, modern equipment and friendly staff. I was really impressed to see a highly rated planet fitness close to where I moved so I decided to check it out. I have to agree with some of the other reviews of this place. It is need of an update. The equipment is starting to break and rip, the lighting is terrible, sound is awful, and the color simply looks dirty. It made me a little uncomfortable to see the beginning of corrosion in some things.

If it's not one thing, than another.... been going to this location for a few month now... CLEANING look like never done. Only one shower works well, second one out for a week, and handicap one have no pressure... if it wasn't for 24/7 I would never go there.... my schedule is too tight so I have to deal with mess... There is soooooo much hair on the floor in changing room! On top of it there is some strange guy sleeping in the massage room... could be homeless. I'm not feeling safe at all.

My experience was amazing. The customer service is very professional from the time I walk through the door. Everyone so helpful and very attentive. Austin, nick, Jamar, Andrea. When I say all amazing and very professional at all times. They all have motivated me on everyway and each day I come here.Thank you so much for all you do. This review is more so for the poor customer service of an employee "Mike", that is constantly going out of his way to be unprofessional toward gym members. My friend and I come in almost daily and he always seems to have a bad attitude toward us, irregardless of the situation.There are many ways to notify a person to let them know they are unable to scan a card at a certain register instead of pointing and shaking your head at someone. CUSTOMER SERVICE ISN'T FOR EVERYONE BUD!!!

Waited 45 minutes for an assisted bench press station, watched people leave and come back bc they went to restroom, got water, checked their cell phones or held it for a friend. 3 other people were waiting as well. I went & did other bench press machines and still nothing available. Is there a time limit on these & can their be rules or something posted about being respectful and a time limit while others are waiting? Or get more machines? Just keeping you informed.

I love the club I am there 4 to 5 days a week but the scales in the ladies restroom has been broken all week n there are a couple of stationary bikes that have been down several weeks along with the machine that helps reduce scaring which has been down for a couple weeks. We pay to be able to enjoy our club and it would help if it was maintained better js I am hoping these things are soon fixed as a lot of us like to keep track of our weight

Zero complaints. Everyone goes in, does their own thing, and leaves, as advertised there seems to be no judgment amongst anyone. Currently attending during the Covid-19 pandemic; they provide 6 feet+ in distance between machines, as well as provide cleaning and sanitation stations widely throughout the Gym. Very clean and maintained, kind staff members and easy to learn equipment. Excited to continue my workout routine at this location.

I really like working out here. The staff is very nice and helpful. They're practicing good cleanliness and mask wearing only when your not on any equipment. Which I really like so I can be safe, but can breath good when my heart rate is up. My whole family goes here and we all agree. Check them out, they have alot to try out. Cannot cancel membership by phone, which is ridiculous! You must send a certified letter or go in person. Then, they increase the fees with no notification. Deceptive billing procedures and when you try to leave, they act like the sore ex after a break up. You want me to cancel in person, fine, be prepared for me to scream my cancellation when I come in. This could’ve been avoided if you would’ve let me cancel by phone…

I enjoy the 24/7 availability that Planet Fitness provides.And, all of the facilities have been pretty well maintained. But, unfortunately, at this location of the 3 shower's available, this one has a broken valve handle, constantly runs, and has black mold growing in places on the walls- which implies it's been broken for some time, since it hasn't been cleaned. Really disappointed and concerned- that's unhealthy.

The water in the showers is lukewarm and the air in the room where you take a shower is cold because there is cold air conditioning. In short, when I take a shower sibito after I feel the symptoms of a cold. I assume that the fact that the showers have lukewarm water and that the room is cold is a way to discourage people from using this service and thus save in terms of water and energy.

Do not go to this Planet Fitness. My purse and car was stolen while I was working out. As I’m completing a police report, staff inform me this is very common. Not only was someone else car stolen with mine that night, staff informed me it’s been happening at that location frequently! This gym has members that are breaking into lockers and stealing people stuff.

It’s a shame that the staff deals with their guests unprofessionally and without any respect. The worst staff ever, so unfriendly, rude and disrespectful person’s. I’ll do my best to deliver this message to the club’s management so they can evaluate each employee and only hires staff that would really values and appreciate guests with a lot of courtesy.

I have been going there early in the morning 4-6 days a week for the last year. It's a great value for the average person who wants to exercise. They seem to have a high turnover of staff and occasionally machines don't work. Since I go there early in the morning when it's not too crowded I have never had any problem finding a machine I want to use.

Don’t sign up with these people and if you do, you better get confirmation that your account is cancelled. They will keep charging you and not refund the money when you call them out. I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Dept of Consumer Affairs. You are crooked and this behavior is systemic within the company.

The circuit 30 training area continues to be used by members who play in their phone while others come in to complete a 30 minute circuit without breaking the circuit training setup. The sign is posted, people continue to violate while staff do nothing but play on their phones. YMCA may cost more but the peace of order is worth it.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Nobody cleans. Nobody wipes off equipment. The staff is rude. They allow 5 to 6 people at a time to work out on the same machine, which means you never get one. I came in today and turned around and went home because of how filthy it was in there. I’ll be cancelling my membership tomorrow.

I really like working out at this gym with my sister-in-law in evening. The problem is that there is lady who tells me to get off machine when I barely sat down. She tell me only 30 minute circle. I tell her I just sat down but she tell me to learn English and I move for her to use. I don’t think I will be a guest anymore.

Don’t join this gym my car has been broken into twice ( window busted out)people have been robbed in the parking lot and there is a serious problem with homeless people at this location. The staff here are 100% aware of the safety issues. They need to hire security at this location. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Pro: It is a great place to work out. Enough machines and people are spaced far enough from each other due to their limiting machines between each other. Con: Although it says on the door to wear a mask to come in and have on at all times...it is not enforced. Why post the sign if you are not going to enforce the rule.

Most planet fitness' have a leg curl on the 'express 30 minute section'. We all know that the seated leg curl is not effective at all compared to the proper leg curl. I won't change my review until they remove the seated leg curl and substitute it with a normal leg curl like all planet fitness' in the country.

Very good prices for membership but it is a very busy location so I feel like they need to expand. There is always someone on the weight machines so it makes it hard to get a turn. Also, I think it would be better if it had more free weights because it would give us a better alternative to lifting weights.

There have been numerous times in have observed individuals who aren't the trainer personally training individuals. We're expected to adhere to the company policy, but it would seem that not all do. It seems that a blind eye is turned to this even though it goes against policy. No harm, no foul I guess?

Planet Fitness works! It's clean, fully equipped, and the floor is laid out for targeted workouts. Open 24 hours a day, so it's available at my preferred time and day. There's a trainer on sight that offers group classes at no additional charge. I need that extra push. I'm loving this membership!

Great price, neat and clean. Decent crowd, get crowded in the evenings until 9 PM, and that's when I usually go when people start to leave. Not all of the equipment is there for advanced weight training, but I feel it's sufficient for someone who is looking for a regular fitness place.

I normally just love planet fitness but the general manager at this location is a horrid human being who publicly treats her employees like trash. I will never return to this location after observing her behavior. I think you guys should seriously reconsider who you employ.

The size of the gum is phenomenal with plenty of equipment and space. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The only disappointments were the total body enhancement machine was not operating and it was impossible to get warm water while taking a shower.

I really like PF! Their prices are wonderful - and you get a great workout and access to massage beds, chairs and other things for just $20 a month. Along with getting to use any PF- anywhere you go in the United States. You can bring a friend, also. A great gym!

They lied to me when I was signing up at this location and told me I could bring my 12 year old to workout. When we came to workout I was told my son must be 13. I am now stuck with a useless membership. I hate planet fitness now and everyone that works there.

Didn't honor promotion that's still being advertised. I asked what they give new members. I was told although in the past new members were offered free gym bags, t-shirts, water bottles, towels & etc. Today you will get a "welcome packet" and a tootsie roll.

The worker was patient as I had to connect to wifi. The atmosphere was great and clean. Workout equipment worked i had no problems. As I was leaving, the worker greeted me with warm words. Have a good day. Sometimes, words like that make a big difference.

The staff are always very friendly, greeting you as you come in, and very attentive if you have a request or question. The gym and equipment seem very clean and are well maintained, with cleaning fluid and paper towels always available at each station.

Decent equipment for entry level workouts. Most machines are in good shape but a few are worn out or broken. Staff is hit and miss. Some are friendly, others don't care to be there. It's located in a dump part of town but the inside is usually kept up.

Went here recently and noticed that almost everyone inside wasn’t wearing a mask as soon as I walked in. Per the front desk the mask is optional after you check in?! And people wonder why TN has the highest rate of new COVID infections.

I cancelled my membership in March 2019 and they kept charging me untill now and it's $180 in vain. I called to explain what happen and the person said he can't do anything about it and can't refund my money. This is very bad service.

Clean and friendly staff. Sometime they have real lifters moonlighting there. If strength is your goal this is a good place to start before you move on to a dedicated strength gym that will have a much higher strength ceiling.

Weight lifting equipment in dire need of maintenance and or upgrades. Faulty and poorly maintained equipment can injure you no matter how well you use the machine. Customer service and location is great however.

This planet fitness in particular does an excellent job of keeping things clean and orderly. It's rare that a machine is too busy and you'll never have to wait for a cardio machine.

As usual, this planet fitness is clean and staffed with great people. Our family goes here all the time and don't have any complaints. We love our judgement free workout zone!

it’s solid here. smith machines get hogged on weekend evenings by teens, so save that for a weekday evening or something . pretty clean though and not too crowded most times.

Shower heaters don’t work, hair dryers don’t work and nobody seems to care since a long time. The people are so nice in here. Hopefully they fix everything.

Staff is friendly and the facility is always clean. Also the gym is huge so you never feel like your working out on top of people which is nice.
