Our leaking kitchen tap was impossible to remove with the tools we had at home (tricky to get to rusted screws under the sink) so we had to look for a professional. Nick arrived on time and did a great job, first taking the old tap off without causing any damage to the sink (another plumber said this may be the case because of all the rust) and then installing the new one. He’s very polite and professional and left the sink area cleaner than he’d found it. We’re definitely using Nick again for any future plumbing needs!

Nick came at short notice to fix a broken sink in our old flat. He was punctual, amiable and had reasonable and transparent pricing. We called him straight into our new place which had unforeseen problems and he came within hours to prevent us having a collapsed ceiling early on a Sunday morning. He ignored the complicated circumstances of loads of people and stuff in his way and cracked on to fix a major issue very quickly. Nick was very responsive and able to recommend parts to be ordered he would need for the work to be undertake. Nick has previously talked me through a repair so he didn't have to come out. For our shower there is a manufacturing default but Nick talked us through how to go through the manufacturer to resolve the fault. Nick was also able to recommend a gas engineer for undertaking a boiler service. Would recommend.

Nick fixed a tap in my rented apartment while I was abroad. He was easy to communicate with and went out his way to buy a replacement tap, when it turned out the new tap was not actually needed he told me and returned it without charge. Many plumbers would not have been so honest and reasonable. He only charged for the work that needed doing and there have been no problems since. Honest, efficient and friendly.

I had outstanding service. We'd got back late on a Saturday night and managed to break a pipe at the back of our washing machine, meaning water was spurting everywhere. I messaged Ponty Plumbing and he called me back immediately (despite it being 10.30pm on a weekend) and told me what to do, solving the problem immediately. All without charging. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was really happy with the work completed by Nick replacing a shower unit and addressing a sink blockage. He was knowledgeable and friendly and explained the work well. I was also delighted to find a plumber in London travelling by bike. Better for the environment and, if you have an emergency, no parking and traffic problems. Highly recommend.

Update three years later: Just updating as been in touch with him over a different issue. He even tells you when it's something you can do yourself to hel save you money which really is amazing. Nick was incredibly helpful and responsive before and after the work done. He made sure he understood the issue before coming out so was able to fix a toilet flush issue and install new taps in single visits. All work is done efficiently and to high standard, and on top of that he's a v nice guy, will definitely be using again.

Nick completed three jobs: mixer taps, basin taps and waste down pipe/connectors. Arrived for appointments at the confirmed time, is polite, knowledgable and leaves the completed jobs tested, great standard, clean and tidy.
