Update** We have found a place to live and finally moved our belongings out of storage at Public Storage. Everything was exactly as we left it....in excellent condition. The loading area was very convenient and Ross, Della, Sean and Crystal could not have been more helpful and friendly. Truly wonderful people who know their customers! Thanks to everyone who helped us through this move! While in the process of moving to Calgary we went to Public Storage to find space for our belongings. Crystal, Sandra and Crystal (yes x2) were so friendly and helpful. They did not have a unit available but found another facility minutes away that had a unit for us. Upon arrival at the second facility we were greeted by Ross, Della and Cris. They were amazing to deal with and within minutes i was unloading into a unit. Ross checked on us several times to see if everything was going okay and they were all so friendly and pleasant! What a great start to our new adventure in Calgary! I can only hope that everyone is so friendly and helpful. Big thanks to everyone at both of those Public Storage facilities…..you have certainly made us feel welcome>

I switched to this storage for a heated unit, and it's the best experience I've had for owning a storage as a first time user. I was always anxious that my stuff would get stolen, but clearly their security is incredibly tight. During one of the days I was organizing my stuff, I saw them making rounds and pulling on every lock to make sure it's all locked, which is really reassuring. Each unit has an alarm system and your locks have the public storage sticker to ensure that your lock has not been changed out. Price is in its best range, but sometimes they could have deals going on. I was initially helped by Della and my experience during the beginning process was incredibly easy. By the end of my stay, Della, Sean and Ross all helped me and answered any questions I've had. Obviously, you don't rent a storage to live in it, but it really felt like I lived there. Great experience, great location, and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you, Public Storage!

Initial review: RED was an amazing associate to deal with today. Although his non busy day he expected, turned into a busy one, he was very polite and took the time to show us the storage unit, answer any questions we had, and was amazing when it came to my special needs child that we brought with us. He was non judgemental, and was beyond friendly! Keep up the amazing work Red! We will be around Centre Ave several times in the next while and will keep enjoying the friendly faces of staff on site! I was in a pinch as the storage I had arranged for was not going to work at all (the unit was inside and there was only one access point for unloading) I called Public Storage and they had an amazing offer on the table for less cost and triple the size of the one I was looking at. Within 20 mins I was at Public Storage with access to the unit. They had easy access and a seamless process of getting everything into the storage unit. Everything felt well protected and safe here. Upon initiating and ending my storage requirements, all their representatives at the Barlow location were so friendly and easy to speak with for any questions I had. I really appreciated that since we all know during a move things can be stressful. I highly recommend Public Storage - Barlow.

My experience at the centre Ave location in Calgary. I have rented a few times from different storage facilities over the years but this time I was very surprised at not just the facilities but the staff! First off the unit was awesome, clean and easy access. But the staff... Amazing! I was a little frazzled walking in to the location with my short notice and circumstances but they were so quick to help, kind and friendly! First off they got me a coffee and got me into a unit real fast. The staff are amazing! A special shout out to Inderjit the property manager who checked me in and to Monique and Greg who were so friendly and just awesome people! If I ever need storage again I know where to go!

Sneaky and underhanded, but very happy to take your money. Went in for a quote,was given a price with the first month for one dollar, told the fellow that I wanted to shop around a little bit. Came back a week later with my truck loaded up and told him that yes I would like to rent the unit. Went through all the paperwork and did not receive my first month for a dollar, when asking about it was told the promotion was over -but the sign outside clearly says “first month for a dollar“… :/ … my fault for loading up my truck and leaving myself in a position where I no longer had time to go somewhere else. I would give public storage zero stars if I could.

From the very beginning the staff at PS was extremely helpful and friendly. I was not sure exactly what type of storage unit I needed and they were more than happy to take me through each option and help me decide which one was best for my specific situation. I also had a small issue with my storage unit at one point and they were very quick to help. They followed up with me to ensure I was kept up to date on what was going on and I felt they genuinely cared about helping me find a solution. My entire experience with the team was a very pleasant one and I am happy that I chose this location. I would recommend it to anyone looking!

We were looking to rent a storage unit as we were moving house. From the beginning, Ross has been very kind and helpful to find us the right storage units for our needs. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. From reserving the units, following up with us and finalizing the contracts, he was very professional and friendly. He lessened the stressful experience of moving. The staff (Della, Chris, Melissa) at Public Storage in Centre Avenue have been great to work with. Della, the manager, has helped us with renting another unit. All in all, it was a great experience and I would rent from them again.

I had to make arrangements for storage in a short time and all it took was one call to public storage. They were very professional, courteous and in no time had accommodations for my storage items. Thank you Public Storage for taking my stress away. When I moved my storage from the unit my movers forgot an antique teacup cabinet behind in the lobby. I called to find out that it was still there and they were kind enough to put it in a locked storage until my arrival to pick it up. Lastly a gentleman, I believe his name was Cameron assisted me to get it into our vehicle. What wonderful service you provided . Thank you.

Dear Managers; It gives me great pleasure to be able to add my name to what must be a considerably long list of satisfied past and present customers of your storage facility. I have been a unit renter there for a fairly long time and I've never had anything but a positive experience. The girls there, Meghan, Della, and the others have always been so kind and welcoming. They have done everything possible to help me when I needed something, or lent an ear if I wanted to chat for a moment. They are always kind and considerate. I honestly can't imagine a more pleasant staff to deal with.

I am frustrated with the service I get when in fact the fault is in the Public Storage’s side. I’m not happy the way things are going as I’ve been informed that it will take at the least of 2-3weeks. Yes, Maria and another manager informed me it will only take 2-3 weeks! I’ve been informing your staff a couple of times before my move out, even giving me pro-rate and says that everything should be paid until I moved out as I dont want a headache such as this. I paid my fees on time and in “ADVANCE” and i still needed to wait because of the mistake of a staff?! 5-6 weeks is too long!

I needed a storage locker in the city that could accommodate my truck. Travelled to almost every storage place in the city before being directed to this location. Since arriving here I could not recommend this location any more. The employees have been friendly and helpful. They have went above and beyond to accommodate me and my needs. Specifically I would like to mention the property manager Renae, she has been an absolute treat to deal with and has made my experience a breeze. Accommodating me in all my requests. Please keep up the good work.

These guys are a life saver! Me and my mother had gone to sentinel storage and had the worst experience. In the middle of moving and in a time crunch. When we got to public storage we we’re greeted by three lovely people named Ross, Della and Sean and a maintenance man (I didn’t catch his name) they calmed every nerve I had about putting my stuff in storage and completely understood how stressful it can be while moving. They were humorous and I felt like I could stay there all day. Thank you for employing people like this.

Emergency move out and I called to book a reservation. I was pleasantly taken care of by Kevin at their call center who had processed the booking within 15 mins. When I arrived at the location I was greeted and helped within 10 mins and was shown the unit prior to agreeing to anything. With this being my first experience with Public Storage I would highly recommend them over a competitor, we all know them by the "-" in their name. Please keep up the amazing service and I will definitely be back if needed!!!

Meghan and Della were outstanding and very accommodating. It was closing time, yet these two ladies went out of their way to ensure that I was well taken care of and had everything I needed in a timely and very efficient manner. I really appreciate them both taking the time to address my questions and concerns and explaining the options available to me. I had a truck full of items and they could have easily said were closed, yet they took care of me and I really appreciate the quality level of service.

I reserved a unit the night before and got a call the very next morning by a wonderful rep named Maria! She was very informative and helpful. When I went in to sign and pay the very same rep Maria was there yo help me. I swear she was so informative, and explained things, that there is no misunderstanding if storage wars ends up with my stuff due to lack of payment. Anyway I’d recommend the center avé location any day. Again she very polite, friendly and cheerful. Good work ladies!

An excellent customer service experience! As our place recently flooded, we needed storage immediately. I spoke with Inderjit on the phone initially. She was pleasant, helpful and extremely patient with me. Once we arrived at Public Storage, we were greeted by Inderjit and Red. Both were so nice to deal with! They took the time to go over the options with us and show us around. We will definitely recommend the Centre Avenue public storage! Thank you for such a great experience.

The location is nice and clean and efficient for storing BUT the sign up and show you around process took about 4X longer than it should have. Maybe some people need to be walked thru like a Grade 3, but it for sure was a time waster for me. They require you to actually go physically in to see your ID which is ridiculous since you can buy a house virtually from anywhere in the world. Need to come into 2021. But overall the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I have to say that although the situation was not optimal, the staff at the center ave NE , location have gone out of their way to provide exemplary support and customer service . Della is by far the shinning star of this location. Della is knowledgeable, approachable, and truly enjoyable to have worked with ! I've recommended Public Storage several times to friends and have rented their facilities whenever I've had need. It's always been a great experience start to finish and this time was no exception. The buildings and units are very clean and well maintained, and they have excellent security and customer service. Red was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole process took no time at all, was completely hassle free, and thoroughly enjoyable!

The staff and this location, were fantastic! We rented a unit here for 4 months, and it was extremely well priced and affordable! The staff was very professional and friendly, and the units were very clean. I felt very comfortable leaving my valuables here, and paying the fees, and looked forward to going in and paying my dues at the end of the month. Great job! If I need to rent storage again, I will make sure to come back to this location!

Raised prices, but nothing to offer for the price hike. I like that they are clean. But that is only perk. Washrooms are locked all the time. You have nowhere to wash your hands. There is no manager or security on site after office hours, so all concerns are pushed to next business day. No garbage can to get rid of litter. So, the price hike really doesn't warrant any merit. Uhaul across the street is cheaper by far. Will be moving.

Rented a Public Storage unit for my mom yesterday at the Center Ave location in Calgary, AB. Service was exceptional, and the ease of securing a unit was stress-free. Ross helped walk my mom and I through the terms and conditions of renting the unit, as well as showing us to our unit. He, Della, and Sean were all fantastic examples of friendly, efficient, and superb customer service. Happy to bring my custom to Public Storage.

The staff were very helpful and gave me all the information necessary to make the best decision for my situation. The facility was clean and well lit, and easy to drive into and out of. There was always 2 or more carts/trolleys at the main doors for ease of moving your belongings. When I had a problem with my door code, on one occasion, the staff went over and above to help me fix the issue. Very impressed, would recommend.

I would leave this place and absolute zero but I can't. This place has SO many hidden fees it is absolutely disgusting. It's a joke. They don't tell you anything and all of a sudden there is 30% more added to my monthly charge. They also tried to charge me 2 late fees in one month and they will charge you a disposal fee even if they don't do anything or even enter your unit. Stay away from these crooks !!!!

The people who work there are fantastic. They balance being quick with being thorough. They are also mindful of how they can assist, for instance, with a mover waiting in the drive while you fill out paperwork. If I was only rating the staff, I would give 5 stars even though I think 5 stars should be rare. The facility is fine, just not a 5 star facility (i.e., perfect or very near).

My husband and I started out looking for the most convenient location but we didn't expect the friendly and efficient staff - such a bonus! Both Della and Renae are very accommodating to our needs. The location is great, secure, clean and with 24 hour access.

Good efficient experience, both checking in and checking out. Ive taken off one star, because many of the "4 foot x 4 foot" storage lockers are much smaller than advertised; some were closer 2.5' x 3.5'. I looked at several with the staff before we found one that was the correct, advertised size. So make sure you confirm with them what size you are actually getting!

Me and my boyfriend Jesse have dealt with this public storage location many times and along with a few others. This location offers the best service. They go above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied. We have dealt with Renae and we have been nothing but satisfied with herr level of professionalism. We look forward to continue doing business with them.

Great experience! Right from call to Della and the check in with Red, the experience was great! Informative and knowledgeable, helpful and speedy processing. Would recommend and use again. Would give them 5 stars but the loading dock entrance was weirdly small to get the dolleys through. Seems like poor design, but wasn’t a huge deal ! Just took some maneuvering

I needed a place to store some Airbnb furniture and ended up here. Ross and Della were absolutely awesome in helping me with all of my questions, concerns, and needs. Public Storage was there for me saving me a storage unit in the event that I didn't find a place in a very tight market. They put a unit on hold without taking credit card information! Imagine that!! Good reliable company for storage. Fast, friendly service. Erica was helping me.. she was new but was very nice to deal with. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the small doorways and tight corners that make it difficult to get large objects through. Other than that, its a great place and I would definitely recommend it.

Nice quick efficient response to my enquiry. I was able to visit and review the storage unit within an hour and make a decision about the rental. Within an hour of viewing I was able to sign an contract for the space and began preparing for a movein!! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Looking forward to a long term association.

Very fast and efficient at getting me registered and on the way to using my rented space. Also great deal for the first 3 months at 50% off. And service at the counter was very pleasant. Cant rember the name of the new lady but i can tell she had a great welcoming smile that radiate through her mask! Just wish they were open 24 hrs.

I used my heated Drive Up Access Storage Unit for business purposes and I have to say I was extremely happy with the service that I received. The facilities are in clean, neat condition and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is looking.

If you rent it out, it's great, don't mind the size, but the storage size is not as specified. size 5x10 feet but only 5x 8.6 feet. meanwhile they charge each size. Items that are 9 inches long cannot be placed in size 5x10. while other places rent the size 5x8 exactly 5x8 and maybe more.

Great people to deal with. I really liked that you could simply add time to your rental without any hassle or long term commitment.,which i needed to do. I was impressed at how clean the facility was. I would definitely be a customer in the future should i need a storage unit again .

My overall experience has been good. With the exception of losing a piece of one of my collectables, getting my stuff up to my storage unit was relatively easy. I am impressed with the way the facility is run and for less than the previous storage locker charged

The staff were incredibly personable, efficient and knowledgeable. While I was clearly consumed with my task at hand, they made sure to spell out the whole process. Pricing was also very competitive in comparison to their competition - highly recommend overall.

I stored my stuff here for a couple of years and staff always attentive, welcoming, and friendly. Very clean and well maintained. They also check the locks and let you know if you forgot to lock your unit -- which I have done a couple of times.
