Long time customer. Years there. Went through several rate hikes and rake hike attempts. After over 12 years or so, we are trying to move. We've always paid on time, never missed a payment and are quiet people. My truck had to go in the shop and we only had a few items left in storage. We asked if we could, since we are and we're loyal customers, get the remaining items out when my truck got out of the shop and have a pro rated bilk for the month of December. We were only going to need it for 2 days in thr month . Manager said 'nope. Nothing he could do.' Just ridiculous because customer service means you can always do something of you care about customers, your reputation and take the time. Public Storage could are less. We transported moat of our things to another storage company near our home. Where we are is nicer, cleaner and management always present and friendly and they've worked with us. Huge difference. I'll not use Public Storage again. There are plenty of options out there and I'll stick with a company that treats customers with respect, particularly rewarding long time loyalty. Can't wait to get truck out of shop and vacate this place.

I called several places to receive a quote and none of the places were able to compete with the rates and customer service I have received with Public Storage. After speaking with the customer service call center, I received a text to confirm my quote. John from this location called me shortly after to see if I had any additional questions I may have had and to schedule a time to look at the unit. By then, I was wowed. Most companies don’t even respond to a simple quote request, much less calling to follow up on an already given quote. Finally, when I went to view the unit, Ermilio, provided an excellent demonstration of how to lock and unlock my unit, showed me where to enter and exit the property, how to use my code and where my storage unit was located. Thank you for hiring the best employees to provide excellent customer service! I definitely recommend this location and this company!

I was needing to increase the size of my storage unit. On Friday John, at Public Storage, could only come within $60 of the nearest competitor. I signed a contract with the competition on Saturaday and went to tell John that I was having to move out. He checked his most current prices and said the price had gone done $70. So I was able to same day cancel the completions contract, at no cost to me, and sign a new contract with John. I did not have to rent a truck to move my stuff and was able to move to the larger unit that afternoon. If John had not looked to see what the new prices were I would have to have paid about $10 a month more. Rent a truck for about $50, didn't have to pay a $25 administration fee and lose about $110 on the unit I was leaving. He was able to transfer that money to the new unit. It was a win win for me thanks to John. Thank you!

Finding itt difficult to trust anyone at this Public Storage unit facility. They told me they put a manager's lock on my storage unit petr my request where I found out they didn't. They call me to say there was a manager's lock on the unit several months ago and if I wanted removed. I said, No. So, I don't know if they went by what was in their computer logs and didn't verify the unit directly or if they took the manager's lock off without notifying me. I requested the manager's lock because of theft to my unit where the property managers leyt them into my unit. I found out that the burglars posed as police officers trying to uncover some evidence. You would think they would have notified me. This goes against me policy with the storage facility by allowing others into my unit.

So far, I am just getting started - we are in the middle of a move back to San Antonio. Setting up a unit is just another detail to be checked off the list. Sometimes in working through the more mundane tasks you are lucky enough to run into somebody who makes things easy and you are glad you met. Danyelle was just such a person. She helped me get set up - readily answered all my questions - and we talked about our respective moves to San Antonio. Personable, professional, and helpful - it was nice to have talked to her. How often does renting a storage unit brighten our day?!? For us, this should just be a place to supplement our apartment while we find the perfect home. Thankfully, it is already a pleasant experience.

Didn’t have a great overall experience. I rented a unit inside with climate control for 6 months. They tried increase rent by $50 at month 5-6, which I fought. At move out, I ended up with ants in 5 of my boxes and in a empty refrigerator at move out. Asked for a call back from the manager and never received one. I was also told by staff onsite that I would get a prorated refund since I moved out in the middle of the month but didn’t receive it. I called customer service but was told the partial refund is against their service agreement which is different from out I was originally told. I asked that escalated it but still never received a call back.

Ms. Sandy is the saving grace for this location. JOHN on the other hand is not. This man has made me cry, stood watching me while I was in my unit, it made me so uncomfortable I had to leave. His vibe as woman makes me feel unsafe. This man has bullied me. I don't know if this is because I am a women or a POC, either way there is a problem. I have expressed this to management with no response. If JOHN is at this location, women beware, beacuse management will not do anything about him. The only reason for the 3 stars is only because he is still at this location. If he wasn't the location would get 5 stars.

No way I’m coming back here. This place is horrible. They have hidden fees out the wazoo, I’ve been paying $45/month for almost a year and then they come out with $60! Out of the blue! I’m paying for the smallest space! Not to mention they have all these promos “first month $1!” NOOOOO... first month was $55 cause of all the hidden fees! Who pays $23 for keys?!? COME ON! I’m going else where. Not to mention they lock the gates at 9 pm so if you need to move after work hours you’re SOL. And there isn’t a restroom available at 6 pm. So good luck if you gotta go.

I had a fantastic experience today at public storage located at 15267 Huebner Rd., Danyelle was the sales associate and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She knew what I needed without measurements or photos. She is Exactly what you look for in a sales associate and was far above any of the other 5 sales associates at the other storage facilities I visited today. She was able to meet my price and actually beat the lowest price in town. If you are looking for a storage facility I would highly recommend public storage and especially Danyelle.

I am a long time customer and over the years have always been very satisfied with the cleanliness and how well the property is maintained. I am especially pleased with the staff. Of course, I have seen many come and go, and cannot think of a time when I had a negative experience with any of them. Recently, I had an occasion to have manager, John help me with a matter that I was calling about. He quickly helped me to resolve it, and must add that he was courteous, diligent and very professional. All in all, he provided excellent customer service.

I used to work for public storage about 2 yrs ago and i totally love how they thrive on customer service. I found myself in need of storage and public storage was my first choice. Clean units, bathrooms on property and best of all great rates. You can't beat first month free! Aldo was very helpful and worked with me on my storing needs. He was even caring enough to make sure i actually needed the big unit i had signed up for. I will never go anywhere else. Definately going to recommend to friends and family!!!

Max Riedel was Wonderfully Helpful to me on my visit today to my unit. He helped me get my lock to work and helped me make my payment and explained in detail to me about the upcoming updating project that will affect my unit on June 15. He helped me establish a good preparation plan for covering my contents to keep them from getting dust and paint on them during the renovations. After shopping around for storage units in my area, I decided that Public Storage had the best price point with the best amenities. I walked in and was promptly greeted. Bryan was knowledgeable and pleasant as he was able to answer all my questions and relieve me of any concerns. He was thorough and presented a professional and welcoming attitude which is always a plus for any business. I recommend Public Storage on Huebner for their great facilities and fantastic customer service! Thank you Bryan!

I used this storage facility for over a year. Property is secure and well maintained. There are plenty of carts available to help with moving boxes in and out. The manager, John was very helpful in finding a convenient location both when I first moved in and when I had to relocate to a different unit on the same property. John also was helpful in getting me the best deals available. I saw him most times I was on the property. It’s a convenient, secure and well managed property.

There are lots of storage companies in town, pretty much all the same. The biggest differences, however, are the employees who work face to face with their customers. The Shavano Park property on Huebner is managed by Caroline, who has an innate sense of how to take care of her customers. She truly cares about her customers, and does what she can to make her customers' storage experiences successful and pleasant. You won't find many Carolines in the other storage companies.

We have 3 storage units in Virginia. We have moved to San Antonio, TX. My accounts have all sorts of due dates, often the system doesn't work since my husband and I have different last names. Kathye, the property manager at this facility was incredibly helpful. She found all our info and sorted out our issues. We don't even have a unit at this facility. I was so grateful she didn't mind fixing our accounts. Friendly and Helpful! Thank you Kathye!

We have had a unit for over a year and there was a projected price increase. I spoke with John and he was able to lock our initial rate in for a bit longer. We have not decided what we will do with the furniture from my deceased Mother and Father, so the extra breathing room is much appreciated. It is refreshing to see a company these days willing to listen to our scenario and accommodate our request. Highly recommend this facility.

I dealt with Bayley and John. Both are very nice people who make things very simple to understand. I visited this location a met John and he explained everything to me after I made my reservation. I completed my reservation with Bayley and she was very helpful in answering all of my questions and explaining how things work at Public Storage. I highly recommend this place if you want a hassle free time getting a storage unit.

This is the best storage facility I’ve ever worked with and that’s saying a lot having been in the military and used a number of storage units. John is simply amazing. He makes the process of getting a unit really painless and truly accommodates your needs. We had the largest sized climate controlled unit and all of our items remained in perfect condition when it came time to move out. Definitely recommend this location!

Just moved in some items today for the first time at this location. AJ made the transition process very easy with exceptional knowledge on the facility and the best unit for the amount of things I brought. I was happy he recommended the damp check product for my cloth/fabric sofas because those were the items I was the most hesitant to put in storage. Great service! Looking forward to an even better storage experience.

Writing about excellent service at Public storaSt and Huebner Road in San Antonio by John who is the manager here. Ran out of space but didn't figure this out until 5:30 PM, I was 35 minutes away, and he closes at 6 PM I called him in a panic and he said he would be happy to stay until I showed up. He was great, his attitude was really friendly, and he took care of me on his own time. Five stars plus!

While having some technical difficulties getting my payment made online.... I received Excellent Customer Service provided by a very Professional and Courteous Gentleman named Myers. This is a safe and secure facility with easy access. I have been a long term customer on 2 different occasions at this facility and I highly recommend this particular location. We have had several units at this Public Storage location, gradually moving to a smaller unit. The staff has always been very courteous, professional and helpful. Recently, John, in the office, voluntarily told me about a special that ended up saving me over $70 in rental fees per month. How awesome is that?! I would highly recommend this particular storage location to anyone.

Ermilo was very nice and helpful when we were there. I had reserved online and I wasn't too sure on the size. He gave us a tour of the facility and showed us the unit. Asked us questions to make sure that unit would fit our needs. Very pleased with the facility. And the best part is the price!! Best price all over San Antonio and climate controles too!

Sandi is the best! Have had some issues and they haven't really had a manager lately. Sandi walked by my unit the other day and asked how things were going. I was honest with her about my frustrations. She said she would make a call and get some answers for me. To my surprise, Sandi not only followed up, she got a solution! What a welcome relief.

The employees working they were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the details. It was a quick in and out to get the paperwork signed which was all emailed to me. The gentleman was very professional and I felt very safe and feel even in the evening I will still feel like it’s going to be a very secure place so I highly recommend it.

I would love to give Sandy a big shout out!! :) She help me an all kinds of ways by changing the information by giving me the paperwork that was needed to be done, she also was able to change the code to the gate for me. Aldo did an excellent job getting me signed up for a storage unit. He has great people skills and made it very easy. I would definitely recommend going to see Algo if you need to rent a storage unit. I was pricing around for units today and since I've stored before I decided to come back to public storage. This was a great location and rates were reasonable. I was greeted by a nice lady named Karina. She was very informative and knew what size storage I needed. I will definitely be back to rent here.

The facility is very clean with plenty of parking and room to turn around with a truck and trailer. John was very good at explaining the details and was very courteous. A few days after renting my space, Karina was very sweet helping me resolve an issue with a trailer. I highly recommend this location!

Had our storage unit broken into. Office manager said we needed to come see what was stolen to file a police report but they were NEVER there during their office hours. A note stating when they would be back would have been helpful as we tried to visit 3 times. Did not answer our phone call either.

Caroline has always been very helpful and has helped me with every move I've had. I appreciate knowing that even though Public Storage is a huge corporation, that it hires professional and courteous staff to help -- if anyone has any storage needs, I will be sure to recommend her facility.

Great! Was only here a month but loved it. The only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t a trash receptacle for storage owners, but other than that , everything was great. Clothing donations booth is a suggestion as well
