Tried ordering a cake for a birthday with a 4 leaf clover on it because my father in law is Irish and his birthday is one st pattys day and the lady on decorating duty tonight just said straight up she couldn’t make a German chocolate cake, didn’t give an explanation as to why so when I asked why they couldn’t make it since it’s on the choice online to pick as far as flavors she just said they couldn’t (later finding out from Kevin they don’t have the ingredients).. so I switched to vanilla to be easy and asked for a 4 leaf clover on it (given the reason above) she again just said no and that it was a copy right issue.. I asked how since they do many other decorations and it’s literally a leaf..? Still couldn’t get a straight forward answer as to why so I asked to speak to a manager(can’t remember her name) just seemed like it wasn’t a concern to her at all or like she really cared at all or even try to help me she just passed the call over to Kevin (who I was told is the baking manager) and I apologized to Kevin for him having to deal with the issue and again, just talked to me like he had other stuff to do and was very short and rude and asked when I needed the cake I just said atleast by the afternoon Friday to which he complained and said “yaaaa might not happen, we have over 25 cakes for tomorrow “ and then ended up saying I could pick it up at 4. Didn’t ask for my name for the order or my phone number and just hung up. I ended up calling the publix off of belleview where a girl named Charlotte took my order and was absolutely so sweet and easy to work with and nice.. will not go to This publix location again for anything .. though it’s “just a cake” to them, it’s important to me, I’ve gone through publix many times to have huge orders of subs made for my office meetings and parties and will not go to this location Again given management alone and lack of care from all of them. Out of everywhere people can go to, 9/10 they choose publix because how nice everyone is and known for having the best customer service.. definitely not the same for this location.

This Publix is a recommended must for fresh produce, meats, deli, fresh breads and desserts. The butcher's are helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable about various cuts of meats. I have thoroughly enjoyed shopping at this Publix in West Nashville. The front customer service desk offers warm greetings and hidden smiles, due to masks wearing. Nonetheless, friendliness is palpable. They offer hot meals, too. The Tennessee Lottery can be played here as well, with a Lottery machine for easy access. Autumn, an employee, works every aspect of the store. She is one of the friendliest employee there. She always has a warm smile. She deserves employee of the month! If you are a lady shopping at night; the parking lot is well lit with bright lighting for security. They offer special parking for pregnant mothers. I think this is awesome. I highly recommend shopping at this Publix in West Nashville.

I ordered a chicken Parmesan onions, green peppers toasted as well cut into fours. What I got was a cold sandwich from the refrigerator shelf and somehow the peppers are now pickles. When I first moved to Nashville the Charlotte Avenue store. Remind me of Sandy Springs Georgia. Top-notch everything that comes out of that Bakery or Deli is good.. But for some reason. There’s been a decline. I don’t know if it’s new management. But today I got a very very sad sandwich. And I’m not one to complain but the last four times that I ordered a sandwich from the deli it’s been wrong. I don’t want to ride peoples back I was in the food industry. Definitely not trying to make the jobs harder. But just give me what I asked for please.

I enjoy the pleasure of occasionally shopping at Publix. The prices are indeed higher than other retailers. We don't mind because the store is seldom crowded, they have excellent meat, dairy, and bread, the manager is friendly and has given us free items when the price was incorrect, and the subs are fantastic. They have made two birthday cakes now, one farm and tractor, and another construction themed, for our kids. Both cakes were great. Also, one of the balloons I bought for the kids popped and they gave me a free one when I tried to buy another balloon. It's small things like this that keep us going back to Publix.

This review is of the deli. A few weeks ago, placed an online order. Went to pick it up 10 minutes PAST the pickup time. It wasn't there or ready. It was dead with 2 ppl behind the counter mind you. Fine... "Unprecedented" times you know.. They finally got to get our order. Got our order home and the meatballs were still frozen. GROSS! OK, 2nd chance time today. Missing items on both of our sandwiches. Bacon being one of them that we pre-paid for. Word of advice, go to 51st Deli down the street. I have been going there for years and never a messed up order. They also serve Boars Head.

Horrible I was here 2 weeks ago and I was going to purchase a dinner plate from their deli . I have Never in my life seen how food was mishandled back here their food was cold and they never keep it hot and there was a fly crawl out of their corn disgusting they should be ashamed of themselves serving the public this food this is unhealthy and some can get really ill and this isn't how you treat people. Side note I have been to the other Publix and they keep their food hot on the steam table so why this Publix don't follow the rules.

We were looking for a particular type of bagel that was out if on shelf. We asked the 1st person we saw at the meat counter, he was going to check when the person that resupplies the cooler area in cheeses, etc, was coming out with cart full to replenish shelves. Low and behold, the bagel was on the bottom of the stack, and the two of them were able to open box carefully at bottom, and there they were. My husband was so happy, and I was, too, and the two guys were so nice. Thanks Publix! Thanks to these two men!!

Tried to order a cake for an event. Requested and ordered a cake with flames on it, along with "We'll Miss You, 'Friend'!". This. This is what we received. Now, I've seen fails of all kinds. I've seen mistakes that we're understandable. This? Wow! My 6 year old could do a better decoration while needing to go to the bathroom. Pink "flames"? This looks like a scribbled note hidden in an Easter Basket! Publix, stick to helping people carry groceries, and sell that bakery off to anyone else.

I am former Kroger customer. I am a very dedicated Publix customer now. While shopping at Publix if an employee sees you looking for a product they offer help. The store is clean and well lit. Shelves are stocked with many options, many different name brand products. I just left Publix. While putting groceries in my car a Publix employee came to me. He asked if I needed help. Then took my basket. Bravo Publix’s!! Your high level Customer service is unparalleled!

Specific issue with the deli. I was in the area and needed to pick up dinner. I chose Publix because of the convenience of online ordering my sandwich. My issues are: they were not busy, there were multiple associates behind the counter, and there were 20 minutes to complete my order, which I in turn had to wait an additional 10 minutes for. Please stress timeliness and attention to details to your associates. I am greatly disappointed in my experience today.

Absolutely perfect as always! I had three employees ask if I needed anything, because they're all fabulous! Baby bella mushrooms we're on sale 2/$4, of course I bought two. Their flowers were gorgeous, bought me some crazy daisies. Accidentally walked down the ice cream aisle, so I now have to work off a pint of ice cream tomorrow. But it was all worth it! In all honesty, I just come in for the nice employees. The food is just a bonus.

Today I visited this Publix location to pick up some subs for lunch for my co worker and I. Jenny in the deli was who put our sandwiches together for us and she was such a delight! You could seriously tell that she loves her job! She even went above and beyond and offered a sample of the new Aloha Boar’s Head turkey to try and that is what I ended up getting on my sub today! Keep up the great work!

Service was good and the staff was friendly. My only issue was that the selection was very limited compared to the comparable supermarkets in the area, especially in the deli and meat departments. The Publix, Harris Teeter, and Kroger on West End are all nicer and close enough that I would never come to this one unless it was just for one or two basic things and I was already at Nashville West

If you're deli says that it opens at 10... Does it not stand to reason that all the hot food would be ready at 10? So when I walk in at 11...should it look like no one has cooked a single thing? Should your letting me know that it'll be 45 minutes before anything will be ready not come some explanation, seeing as you've allegedly been open for an hour? Help me understand...

Super nice people, the lady doing the demo cooking(I guess that's what you call it) was awesome, the sample was meatball suband zucchini & onion salad (I have never even tried zucchini) was good. The deli was great as well, I asked for cod fish and they only have it cooked on Friday she said, ( it's Tuesday) but she went and cooked it fresh for me. Yea! It was good.

Convenient experience shopping here! I appreciate the proximity of Publix to other shopping centers to allow me to run errands while on a brief break from work. Isles are clean and organized which made the experience swift and intuitive from shopping at several other Publix centers. Staff was helpful and friendly as well which made for a great time shopping here.

The cashier and bag guy were very rude. I was not greeted, my bags were thrown into my cart. My items were carelessly tossed into the bags as well. No offer to help me out to my car. Cashier at number 4 today in the afternoon gave the impression he hated his job and was annoyed he had to work. Awful experience, very unlike the publix experience I usually get.

I love this Publix I used to live a quarter mile away from this center and in the last year moved to joelton which is a 25-minute and I love this center so much that I still drive all the way from my new home in joelton to the Publix at Hill center every two weeks to do my grocery shopping best prices best customer serviceAnd the shelves are very well.

I love this store. I find what I'm looking for and the staff are Always helpful and friendly! It's not as big as the Publix store in Belle Meade or have as much variety and that's ok. If I need something unusual I can go to that store not far away but this is my neighborhood store for 98% of what I want and need and it's a great store!

I ordered a sandwich yesterday afternoon and the woman serving, that had tatoos, was in a very bad mood and very rude. She was short with her responses. Why not just saying nothing or just be moderately pleasant. Going to Publix should be a positive experience. She rushed through the sandwich as well and just threw it together.

This is a fantastic store. All of the workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Most times I go in Vicky is working, and she has such a fun, and positive energy! The store is usually very clean, and products stay stocked. I love using the app and getting those deals - lots of bogo's. Love that this is my neighborhood store!

Exceptionally racist. White female employee acted as if she didn't hear me asking for her help for 2 mins. Then refused to say what isle the item was on, pointed in the direction of the isle. After she realized I wasn't going to leave without help she walked out and said the appropriate isle. It was the wrong isle too.

Due to poor planning on my part, I wound up wiping out a lot of their inventory for an event serving 70 people. From the manager, Mr. Moy, on down to rest the department managers and rest of the employees, they accommodated me in every way with a smile on their faces. Absolutely outstanding customer service!

I am a big Publix fan from Florida. This is a large and well organized store with usual clean isles and friendly staff throughout. BUT when you order sliced turkey in the deli and you get home with a shredded mess in a bag you wonder what training goes on and I can not give my usual 5star Publix rating here!

Fresh brand new store in East Nashville located where H.G.Hills used to be if you're old enough to remember. Publix is the main grocery store in So.Fla and they have quality products especially products that may not be to familiar to the South but very big for the growing Caribbean community that's growing.

Publix is almost completely self checkout...that takes jobs, also...are you going to pay those customers for doing that plus bagging their groceries..then you are going cashless...bad choice as well...disappointed that Publix are making these poor choices for their customers to endure...takes more time ..

I ❤️ Publix! This grocery store is known for its great customer service, fresh produce, bakery, and deli / hot meal selection. Among groceries, my favorite things from Publix are the Mardi Gras wings, the daily soup selections, the chocolate ganache cake, and raspberry elegance cake! Oh and their flowers!

What’s happened? I’ve been coming here for over a decade and in the past two years it’s gone from one of the best to one of the most expensive and poorly stocked. No rain checks, no coupon doubling, less and worse sales. Sample station is gone which is such a shame. I miss trying and finding new recipes.

The produce is the best in town. Love the BOGOs! Best of all is their Customer Service! The eye to eye Hello's. They ask if you need help finding an item before you ask for help. Wow, Best bakery in the area. Ok, I haven't tried them all, but I've eaten some great baked goods and this tastes very high. The fact that it's in a grocery store is even more amazing. It made me want to try other products that they choose to have in their location. Maybe farm raised beef?

I ordered a cake from the bakery to be customized to look like a tree stump. I showed a picture to the baker from the internet. They did such a wonderful job and the cake looked exactly like the picture!! Not only was it beautiful, the taste was outstanding. Thank you Publix Bakery.

Publix all of them are great stores. As I've said before I dont know who trains there staff but only once have I encountered a rude employee. There meats and vegetables are always fresh. I've never had a problem with a return. I just love this store.

Expensive and not real efficient. Self checkout is great and so is the 15 items or less line but only having one normal lane open isn’t enough. People lined up 5 deep with full carts in that lane and nobody is paying attention.

I normally love publx produce. But the spring mix I got was going bad. The date said Aug 7 when purchased 7/31. but it was nasty. Slime was throughout. The apples when cut were brown inside.

I shop here a lot mainly because it is the closest supermarket to my apartment. The produce section is excellent and well maintained. Dairy section is top notch too.
