Located inside First Street Market, they are one of the vendors of Calgary's first food hall and I have to say, my favourite vendor. I have been a huge fan of Pure Modern Kitchen Bar since they first opened. This new location offers up some amazing savoury donuts (MUST TRY) along with some delicious soup. If youve been to their first location, you would know their pho is packed with flavour. The famous char siu sesame donut has been my favourite since the OG pure, and this new location offers even more versions of it. The Bo Kho Donut is a must try if you've already had the classic Char Siu Donut. They also serve milk tea which i love. Their milk tea is very creamy with a bold tea flavour.
The quality here was shockingly amazing. It's a taste of authenticity and yet simplicity that lingers in your mouth. Something about the sate oil also makes everything good (so good you can eat it with plain rice and it enhances the flavour a lot). The cost of pho or rice bowls is $15 and it comes with a rich warm broth. Quantity is ok but it's the taste I'm more targeting. There are also baos and savory donuts at $6 each. Wings is also an option. I would go back to this place for a hearty meal that hits the spot. Good service as well and quick to order/make.

Craving for a pho that is not in Chinatown. Tried Pure Street food and I wonder why I didn’t have this before?! Broth slow boiled to perfection, oozing with flavour and gloss to the soup. Their saté tasted amazing with just the right amount of spicy kick and the peanut taste didn’t overwhelm the whole bowl. Variety of meat were tender and savoury, too bad they don’t have beef ribs when I visited but they added more beef shanks to compensate. Will recommend this place for people who wants soup before watching a Flames game!

Lots of complex delicious flavours. Today I just had their satay brisket pho noodles soup. Hats down one of the best ones I have ever had. It was so good. Generous portions. It was a happy day for me. It's a MUST TRY ******** The cha shui pork rice was nice too, the egg was perfectly seasoned, and perfect consistency. Overall, the dish was a bit sweet and a tiny bit spicy. It came with a little tasty soup. Not bad. I will try something else next time! Food is too good here!! Yummmm

Tonight we tried the food at the First Street Market . We opted for Pure Street Food, it was amazing! I had the Chicken Rice Bowl and my wife the Pork Rice Bowl. Both were delicious and very well prepared and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our meals and the way we were looked after while ordering. The First Street Market is a great concept, everyone was able to get the food they liked best and all of us got to eat together. We will be back! Thanks for a great meal!

Love this place. The food is always deliciously consistent with a smaller but diversified menu. The owner Lam is a hard working guy who strives to give everyone a wonderful meal and a smile. I keep going back and back and……….

I LOVED the dry noodle bowl! It was tasty, innovative, and full of flavor. It comes with 2 types of noodles that were cooked to perfection plus a warm soup/sauce to pour on top. The right amount of meat and spring rolls too. Perfect to fill me up for lunch. The sesame donut with pork belly filling was solid too. I want to go back to try more menu items but I know the next time I go I’ll be ordering the same dry noodle bowl. Delish!
I went in to order take out from another place but they weren’t serving till 5 so I decided to try this place and omg I’m so glad I made that decision I got the pork belly rice bowl it’s so delicious I had to come on to write a review! I will definitely be back and try other dishes Thank you for the yummy food I already wish I brought more food home haha

Located in First Street Market food court. Pho is tasty, full of meat, and an ample serving. Pork sandwich on sesame roll is an excellent addition to the pho. Reasonably priced. Busy place around lunchtime on Weekdays.

No respect for customer. Food is average. They were not able to take the order, meal was spicy, I asked for no spice because of sharing with my kid, instead of dine-in, they gave take out, I asked for extra bowls for kids, did not take attention. They haven't fixed all these and they showed very aggressive behavior. In Canada I have never seen like this.

We as a family with two little kids went for a Sunday lunch to this place, asked for no spicy for one meal, all meal were spicy. Instead of dine in, they served take out, asked extra bowls for kids, got nothing... When we tried to ask for what we order, a guy with anger issues handled the situation very badly and unprofessionally. Food quality was far from what we expected.
I’ve been here to order a rice bowl three times and each time they’ve told me they have no rice. Half the menu is rice dishes…… another time I went to order and they said they weren’t taking orders. Just a few minutes later I found the employee smoking outside. Thumbs down for service.

I highly recommend Pure Viet if you are craving a rice bowl! I’ve had the basil chicken and Kalbi beef rice bowls and they don’t disappoint. Both are flavorful and well portioned! The ingredients are fresh and I love the broth that comes with it to pour over the rice! 10/10!

Easily one of the best pho bowls in the city. Cost more than your typical bowl of pho, but you can tell they slow cook their broth and use quality ingredients. You can taste the marrow extracted from the bones. Ask for a side of their sate if your a spice lover

OMG - It is all SO Good!! The Spicy Sate Pot o Pho is the BEST, and ruined me for any other Vietnamese place. Damn you, Pure Street Food! Now I have to drive across the city when I’m struck by an irresistible urge for Pho. Also, the Pho (pronounced Faw) isn’t to be overshadowed by the Savoury Sesame Donuts, they rock! Try ‘em!!
The Pot au Pho is something special. Oily broth on the sweeter side with generous amounts of differently cooked beef (you know the broth is going to be good when they leave the beef bone in your bowl). I experienced an elevated pho that remains faithful to the essence of what makes pho great. Thank you.

Food is very expensive. The quality is below or par with ur average Viet place. Save the money and go elsewhere for Vietnamese. Or try something else at 1st st. Repeat customer. Each time is a let down

The spicy sate Pot Au Pho was sooo good broth was very flavorful, unlike any other pho I've had before. The beef bone was super tender and delicious! Also ordered a pork belly bun, which was also super good! Sesame bun with banh mi filling, 10/10

Portion are small. Expensive. Food not that great. Better Vietnamese places. Sesame donut to oily. Mi kho sauce taste weird not my cup of tea. Don’t know how this place got high rating then other Vietnamese restaurants?
The food is good, but not sure if it's worth $19 for a pho or $20 for a rice bowl

This is the best Vietnamese place in Downtown. Their pho broth is deep and flavourful. You can tell that they use a lot of ingredients with care. Service is a bit slow but worth it.
Authentic Vietnamese street food. Delicious Vietnamese soups Pho. Very flavourful and right mix of spices, meat and veggies. Will come back for sure to try other dishes of the menu.
This place is unreal. The broth is excellent. It’s in a good court style but high quality flavours and great price for how much meat you get. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
