"I had a worst experience & time @ the T-Mobile'-Rainier Square"
"They've been doing construction here for like 2 years and literally it's inside the store now with hammering and what sounds like those machines that they break up concrete with it's almost like a bad movie stage they've rearranged and relocated everything in here like three or four times I never know where to look for anything and there's construction debris everywhere it doesn't feel very hygienic either and I've also had issues with the customer service lady during the daytime she was extremely rude for no reason other than it seems that I was white I was picking up a Western Union and was in line and served literally after people that were just coming to the front of the line for some reason she just kept ignoring me it was completely frustrating and then she had an attitude with me when I finally said something can't remember her name I wish I could but I see her there in the afternoons all the time and I do believe she's a manager All in all it's pretty hectic and crazy here nothing's usually where it's supposed to be and I don't know what they're building but it's sure better be amazing when they're done because they've been doing it for years must be the first supermarket skyscraper or something"
"There's a Safeway here, among other retailers but this Safeway is one of the most mismanaged stores I've ever witnessed"
"The plaza was full as usual and hard to find parking spaces were available mainly in farthest away parking spaces from the shopping/businesses located in the plaza"
"We walked into Safeway pharmacy and sign up for vaccinations and got seen right away they were very professional and serious but very courteous there wasnt a wait"
I had a worst experience & time @ the T-Mobile'-Rainier Square. If it wasn't for all we had purchased. I would NOT shop at T-Mobile after. When i I 1st was introduced to t-mobile, all staff were very friendly, helpful, polite. We began noticing new members, staff, etc... One day, after a long trip, my Samsung began to do things that i wasnt familiar with? So i always was able to take my Samsung to our regular store , Rainier Valley, i asked one worker, why was my phone requesting for password giving me problems?" Then this one, unfriendly employees/ employers, staff members gave me the worst customer service. Instead of this worker helping me w/ advice. As many other T-Mobile always had helped me in the past. I never felt so peed-off as I had this day. i needed help to find out why my voice message kept requesting a password & not a passcode, which never happened before. Ever since I began using t mobile, my phone has never had issues. I verily seldomly go there for help. I'll never ask them anything ever again. I still pay my bills at Rainier Valley inlet. There's some very kind workers, but there's those who are very much, still unprofessional, Unfreindly, and unhelpful. I won't ask for very limited wotkers for any help or assistance since that last male refused to help me, telling me to go call 611. Not one worker in the past gave us poor customer service. I now stand in long lines. It takes, sometimes, 45 min before I receive assistance. SAD

There's a Safeway here, among other retailers but this Safeway is one of the most mismanaged stores I've ever witnessed. First, it doesn't appear very clean. Stock was low on a number of items I needed. The lines were the longest at each open checkout, of which seemed to be about 3 in total. The only saving grace, so to speak, were the self check lanes. While these lines seemed to be the quickest moving, there were also many people waiting for their turn. I was surprised by all these separate issues -- as it's been my experience that Safeway stores are normally one of the highest rated and well managed grocery chains around. Something definitely needs looking into here.
The plaza was full as usual and hard to find parking spaces were available mainly in farthest away parking spaces from the shopping/businesses located in the plaza. Our stops we had to make only took a couple of minutes at Safeway surprisingly and was rather quick at the the D.O.L. place too (no lines outside the D.O.L. and only took about 1/2 an hour to complete our business there) and our stop at the Chinese Restaurant was quick but super disappointing witch is quite unusual. (Their food is normally fantastic and super yummy) but overall our visit today at the Plaza was overall satisfactory!
We walked into Safeway pharmacy and sign up for vaccinations and got seen right away they were very professional and serious but very courteous there wasnt a wait. We shopped afterwards it was a great experience and it was no pain with the vaccination I thought I was gonna be painful but it was not and the the tech that administered the vaccination was sweet and nice I just had a really good experience and I recommend everybody to get their vaccinations at the Safeway Rainer pharmacy!!
I don't like how some staff clearly judge you when you walk in, even if you are doing that the customer doesn't need to know it'd be a little more professional not only that don't assume you know that person's going to steal because I don't and I didn't I buy every time I go to the store I was able to find this great shoe rack for 899 some toys for my kids may I love Ross it's usually good prices but sometimes the staff needs to work on their professionalism that's at every location
I had to come edit my review seeing as the whole plaza is not affiliated with Safeway. The Ross here has a great household selection, but with the recent dissection of the taco Bell there's not much promise here for a good meal unless you like magic dragon. Which I personally think they got that name because no matter how much of their food you eat, 30 minutes later you feel as if you're starving even tho you just ate a whole thing of chicken and beef teriyaki. It's like MAGIC!
I have several issues with this Plaza, and don't feel safe shopping here. The parking lot isn't very well planned so traffic doesn't flow in and out smoothly. There is always trash lying around. There are usually shady characters hanging out, sometimes bothering me on my way in to Safeway. There have been some improvements in recent years (a Safeway fuel center and Mod Pizza in the parking lot) but overall the negative still outweighs the positive.
Rainier Valley Square is the south end of Seattle. The area is alright I guess. In the day time it gets busy with traffic, but its always movement. Its a lot of different ethnic or diversity. So that means there is a mixture of restaurants for the people to eat at. Also different kinds of grocery stores so you buy the food you want or need to enjoy and learn about other people and there background and what origin there are.
The Safeway keeps getting better and better over the years but I feel sorry for it because the plaza it's in is covered in trash. I wish people would throw their garbage in the trash receptacles instead of in the streets and sidewalk. But then I also wish whoever owns Rainier Valley Square would make the trash bins less accessible for critters and humans to pilfer through, especially the big one across from the laundromat.
This Safeway is not my favorite place to shop, I find the clerk's to be very unfriendly and slow. They make you feel like you are bothering them when you ask for help. I only shop here when I don't have the time to shop further away from my friends house when I go visit her weekly. Not once in over a year has even one employee made me feel welcome or appreciated for my business.
this review is for the Safeway only. Great shop, it's big aisles makes for easy shopping, it's a clean mart, great selection. Easy access from either direction off of Rainer. every employee I have dealt with has been friendly and knowledgeable.you may spend a little more money, compared to Kroger but to me, it's worth a couple of bucks for the selection and convenience.
Got myself a couple pairs of Adidas for a song! No dance. Up to date styles & comfortable. Ended up with some nice Spyder socks that I would have killed for when I was younger. I build these stores for a living & see first hand what it takes to be this good & I guarantee that these employees work very hard to keep up with the sales. Thanks for doing what you do!
This is probably better than average as strip malls go, but it is just a strip mall. Safeway anchors the plaza and it also includes a Ross Dress for Less, a Sprint Store, and a T-Mobile Store. Fairly large parking lot but it seems like it's always nearly full. Nothing special to draw you in, but nothing awful to keep you away either.
There are some really great businesses here that make shopping more convenient and life easier. One stop shopping, many times. I love that safeway delivers and the ross being here is great for home necessities! Then if you are hungry, stop for some Chinese food after. I am happy to know that there is an urgent care center here, too.
Been around for at least 3 decades and still has room for businesses to stay that were here during this time and still here plus room to grow with new businesses to open up and set up shop here in the great soufend which is only growing and getting bigger and staying diverse with its residents all living in the Rainier valley!
This place is crazy small, there's tons of other activities going on inside the store, in the parking lot, etc. The prices are extra high, the produce is blah, and there's really no reason to shop here...UNLESS you live close by and can't make it elsewhere. I'm wondering why the prices are SO high for a store in this location?
Kinda confusing... was looking for the licensing place, but the only building that had the street-address number was an abandoned pizza place and "suite C" was barely marked, all the way across the parking lot and tucked into a corner partway behind the Lowe's. (Why give multiple buildings the same street address?)
I shop here a few times a week, only living a block away. Usually the Safeway is adequate but since the recent "snowed-in scare" that got everyone buying everything off the shelves, the store's stock of things never recovered. Some items I've been waiting 2 months to see back on the shelves, and still waiting...
There is never to many people, lots of room and time to tryout as many different models as Your time permits. Customer service is great, with easy going and attentive additudes. And just happened on this sunny day that I dig out my shoes from last summer that were 17 bucks and are still great.
The Safeway is huge and usually has everything I'm looking for. Ross has tons of random stuff at great prices. I'm a little bummed that Taco Bell is gone. Can't remember what else is there, as I only visit now and then. But yeah, it's a shopping plaza, what more do you need to know?
Nice Starbucks in Safeway. The plaza is well kept. There's an Amazon fulfillment tower called Ranier here that's convenient. Ross is messy but has a pretty good selection of merchandise. It's in a lower income area so expect some panhandling. All in all a decent place.
Its a big shame that they have closed their restrooms i wonder are the employees doing that Amazon bottle thing if their closed where do they go also some of the customers like to wash their hand before shopping to be kind to other people whats this world coming too
Rainer square is littered with homeless. They are people too and it is a shame how they must resort to panhandling, stealing and hustling. But the ross has a solid inventory and the safeway is being remodelled and provides a pleasent shopping experience.
The worst! The service is bad! The staff makes you feel as though you're bothering them while they are at work. I literally hate going in there. I live closer but will drive all the way to Renton if time allows bc THERE the service is like night and day!
Run down mall run over with panhandlers that's seen it's better days. You wouldn't want to leave your car parked here overnight. Shop here often enough and someone will eventually hit you up with a sob story for gas money between the store and your car.
The new remodel of the store is great and easier to find thing's the only bad thing when I was there was self check out when you wanna check out you need the cashier to do something before you can check out but other than that it's a great place to shop
You can buy kosher food here , big place very clean and easy to parking out side, you can buy groceries for your house Safeway offer delivery and pickup you have member card you can save money on your grocery and you save money on the gaz station
It is one of my favorite malls here in our place. All the stuff you wanted is available in this place and it was very affordable. They also have a lot of dining shops where you can spend your time while waiting for your friends. Come and visit!
Crazy thing about this area of Rainier is everything in Safeway was so overpriced compared to Redmond that I refused to buy anything from them. Qtips were $6 in Redmond they’re $2.86 for 200 or 500 can’t remember. But a great difference.
I like this little area because there are several stores and businesses in one area they have urgent Care,Ross, Safeway Walgreens right down the street T-Mobile's and I think like a nail salon or massage place and a psychic reading it's
I do like the remodel of the store, but being harassed by a panhandler who is agressive and blocks the entrance is not appealing. It's a shame that the disregard by the employees (& manager) about being concerned about their customers.
What's that "Cell" tower about!?! It's too short to communicate with any other. It sits in the bottom of a valley and is shorter than the surrounding buildings. And! Your cell reception gets no better standing beside it... Just say'n
Never clean or organised but you find the most random great stuff in there from time to time. This one has more bedding options than some of the others, so if you're looking for blankies, this might be the spot for you.
I got it at ROSS! I needed a bag, Ross's had it and the price was a steal! I needed shoes and Ross had my size! And yup the prices are awesome! Customer service from the security guard was just as great! Thanks ROSS!
Q: "Do you like it?" A: "I love it." I GOT IT AT ROSS!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the Grocery Outlet brand grocery stores of Target brand big box stores. Get all the top brand's worst atrocities and misprints galore!
Old school. Felt great to be back in the Rainer community after growing up nearby. Square has great discount shopping. There is even an urgent care provider and licensing office inside. Has everything.
The the best Safeway to shop at, but it's like any other Safeway. I have no bad experiences at this Safeway.atmosphere isn't the greatest but it's a nice store with nice employees and it's kept clean.
My first time there. I thought be lots more people. It's after a new year. Lots good clothes they have. In near future I may have to check it again. Looks like there doing inventory for the new year.
Love this place! Only complaint is the Zip up Echo Hoodie I bought from there didn't last more than a month of use before the pocket lining ripped up and the echo design came off. Talk about cheap!
Its ok for a Safeway. The shelves are stocked good (sometimes messy). The employees are alright, but most the time they seem too preoccupied w nabbing shoplifters to pay attention to the customer.
What I liked about this shopping store was that they had a very nice variety of items. You can really choose a lot of beautiful clothing and others. I always purchase for my everyday out fit here.
Awesome spot in the heart of high end shoppers. Always pass thru there and wonder if one day I could live in high end fashion. Till then just grateful to be in the presence of trendsetting stuff.
Management dropped the ball on many levels. Understaffed and indifferent to customer requests. Passed the buck continually. 2 hrs to be told to come back because mgmt left for the day ...
Pretty solid shopping venue - easy to get in and out, and doesn't seem too crowded, good options available - at least right now, can't speak for the future. Such is the nature of a mall.
On a saturday with 1 checker open and the line all the way back to men's shoes makes no sense at all. No apology and no customer service experience...just slow with no cashier's I guess.
This place has a Ross store to shop at, Safeway, a couple of phone Stores, vehicle licensing place, and an Asian cuisine restaurant. So it's not a bad place to take care of your needs.
Good inventory and all but the employees are judgmental and it's hard to feel comfortable while shopping. But I'd like to add the management isn't that bad, actually kind and helpful.
This Plaza contains the areas anchor store Safeway. the largest amount and variety of food in the area. And they often have manager specials because they're moving stuff so quickly.
Very quiet and safe well also not to mention much cleaner then almost every other Safeway I've been to in Seattle! And staff is very helpful but always with a smile on there face!
Shopping at Safeway is always great for me. Love the friendly staff always have good selection and I love using the Safeway app it helps me save even more money all month long.
Good mix of retail and service business... Safeway Grocery & Fuel, Starbucks, Ross, Sprint, T-mobile, and Indigo Urgent Care makes this Plaza a valuable neighborhood center.
Me and my neighbor went there to renew our auto license tabs. The line was short, and our clerk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Totally convenient and recommended.
This place is a disaster. Chaos at checkout, consistently low inventory, parking lot is not safe. Employees are friendly- I feel sorry for their working conditions.
Safeway is big, reasonable prices though checkout is SLOW. Rarely have all self-checkout stands running. NOT the place to pop in and grab one thing in a hurry.
Cashiers are horrible at self-check counter, Encountered multiple disruption from other customers & Harass other customers. Something's wrong with management??
Love all the employees at this Safeway I would give my life for anyone there. God bless them all, in the name of Jesus. sincerely James dawayne Butler.
Reducing my rating from 4 stars to 2 due to increasing incidents of parking lot violence over past 2-3 years. Don't feel safe shopping here any longer.
Yes I love this Safeway it seems like they have more available than other Safeway's around my area employees are great and helpful and friendly …
It's definitely a bit off the beaten path, but it has plenty to offer. Safeway, Ross, DOL, TMobile, a Chinese restaurant, and a family clinic.
Too much of a police presence and their security is really touchy too many boosters people stealing s***last choice of Safeway's I would use
Yeah, it’s a typical shopping center. I only visited the Safeway here and it was good. I just wish there weren’t people fighting outside.
I went to the Safeway and they didn't have no Hennessy. None everything else but Hennessy, ive never seen anything like that before.....
I asked to go the bathroom and Brittany ignored my request having me wait only to tell me the person who opens the restroom is on break.
If you have the time shop at a different safeway the quality and Quantity of items here is not as good as other stores in better areas
Not the greatest neighborhood, it seems to be the most ghetto est one I've ever encountered and the organization needs a lot of help
Small Safeway but had all I needed. Police outside to discourage any rif raff. It was 10:00 at night also. Appreciated it.
Excellent location. Good neighhood meeting place. Lots of different stores, and businesses . Big huge parking lot.
Ride on cart never works needs to have parking lot checked more often for correct parking and shopping carts.
It's ok but I hate the security follows me around everytime I'm in the store and I NEVER steal.
Better than the Safeway at Othello. Has everything I need & more. Clean with great security.
We got what we needed without incident but personally, I've always been leery of this area.
I used to work here years ago....always fun to shop there and run into old co-workers
Okllllllllllkl+21st Century is the first time that the check requested on December
It's easy to get some groceries and items do or your needs.Good costumer service.
Was almost assaulted by newspaper vendor, security was not concerned. At all.
The best place to go grocery shopping for whatever your actually needing.
It's in the hood police has a mobile police station in there parking lot.
The DOL office in this plaza makes it quick & easy to get car tabs.
The employees are chill as well as the laid back atmosphere.
I went to the Safeway here. Not really a good neighborhood.
good service, very clean, attention is fast but efficient
Goog people and very nice and clean place togoshopp at
My favorite Safeway on rainier or in the South end
Moderate parking but quick shopping experience
The most unsafe Safeway in Seattle.
Love safeway My favorite store !
Good very nice …
