I went to Rexall only because they have a post office. Wow! there were quite a few people ahead of me. I haven't been to the post office in about a decade and was I in for a surprise. I found out that you can no longer send a Registered letter to the U.S. and if you want to get a receipt of the letter you HAVE TO send it as a parcel. Sending a letter as a parcel means you have to complete an online customs declaration form. Mind you the price of sending a letter of 5 pages as a parcel to the U.S. was going to cost me C $ 14 + change. It was important enough so I decided to go ahead. The customs declaration form is online so you scan the QR Code on the post office counter. It took me a few tries finally it worked, and it's not like I am not used to scanning QR Codes. I completed the form, my address, the recipient's address then it asked me what was the declared value of the parcel. The papers I was sending had no commercial value so I entered $ 0. When I clicked on SUBMIT to finish the online form guess what, it cleared out all the address entries I had made and asked me to re-enter them. THE ONLINE FORM WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR LETTERS. CANADA POST DOESN'T CARE SO IT HAS NOT TAKEN THE TROUBLE OF CREATING A SEPARATE FORM WHICH CAN BE USED FOR LETTERS IN LIEU OF REGISTERED LETTERS TO THE U.S. This shows how much Canada Post thinks of customers or providing services. This is utter nonsense. CANADA POST SUCKS!! Finally I sent the letter as an ordinary letter to the U.S. My only other option was to go home complete the Customs Declaration form THROUGH TRIAL AND ERROR AND THEN GO BACK TO THE POST OFFICE to send the letter as a parcel to the U.S. (so I can get a confirmation that my letter (sent as a parcel) was received in the U.S. What an example of bureaucratic bungling. It sounds like a Monty Python episode. The only good thing I can say is that the lady at the post office counter was about the most helpful even though she was so overworked because there were about 5-6 people to be served after me. They definitely need a second post office counter and person there for sure. This is the end of my Rexall Post Office experience. NOW I move on to my Rexall customer service experience. I bought a loaf of bread and some Lotto tickets. The guy at the counter (tall Caucasian guy with glasses, could have been the manager for all I know) served me. Gave me the receipt but did not ask me if I wanted a bag for the bread. I asked for the bag, he pulled one out and tossed it on the counter. I see, you bag your own purchase. Let alone will the Rexall customer service person ask if you if you want a bag, but they also won't even bag it for you. I guess one goes with the other LOL!!! Well that's customer service for you. I often go to the Shoppers Drug Mart about a block away and have never had this kind of callous and indifferent customer service experience. There you have it folks my Rexall experience. IT SUCKED royally.

Had the rudest experience here this morning with the cashier that opened. I went in to buy an envelope for my small business before heading into my full-time job. The post office wasn't open so I went to self check-out and the item scanned so I went to pay. I was then approached by the cashier, and rather than politely tell me that I couldn't buy it at the self check-out, she became confrontational and rude. My "crime" didn't match the response I was met with and it ended in a verbal exchange. The issue that I have isn't that I couldn't buy the envelope, but its with the way she treated me. This person shouldn't be in a customer- facing position if this is how she treats paying customers. It's a Rexall- I'm not expecting top tier service from a minimum wage position, but I do have the basic expectation that I won't be screamed for trying to purchase something that I've purchased in that way many times before, without issue. If it's a problem, be polite about it. No one wants to get yelled at first thing in the morning (or ever for for that matter). 0/5 for this location.

My parents went to this Rexall at 1093 Queen st W to get vaccinated, they went in at 445pm, out by 650pm. The person named Valeria Sula made them waited over 2 hrs, there was NOBODY AT ALL, she just let them wait....my poor parents, don't know English, so she just let them wait. Valerie was super defensive and told me a bunch of excuses, but This is totally unacceptable, I hope Rexall can stop this from happening to other people, I found Rexall for my parents from Google search, I called ahead & made sure u had vacines available trusting you're a great company, but honestly this kinda stuff will not happen anywhere but here at your pharmacy. We understand we have to wait if there's a line up, but with NOBODY being there, then please help people. I would not come here again, or never recommend anyone to come here. Unless you want to wait for 2 hrs. We surely don't.. even it's close by to our house, will not be back. Don't come here, waste of your time. Disrespectful workers

This is specifically for the pharmacy. The first time I had a prescription sent there, I was told when it would be ready for pick up. When I showed up, nothing was ready and I waited (on my lunch break) over half and hour for them to fill it. The second time a prescription was sent, I was told when it would be ready. This time I tried calling first, but no one picked up. I went in and was told that it wasn't ready and they had ordered it, but hadn't let me know. I asked them to cancel it and the pharmacist said that she would. Later, while checking my medical plan, I saw that they had charged me for it, without even letting me know. I am now on hold with the pharmacy; 15 minutes and still waiting. Save yourself the headache and go to another pharmacy. There are many in the area.

We were trying from testers some perfumes with my bf. They are soo rude. They behaving like we will steal the perfumes. You Can’t touch you cant hold or something. Sooooo weird wait for me you cant touch i need to show you bla bla 50 cad perfume who and why we try to steal. So weird. When we going shoppers or sephora and try perfumes what we like best. And buy it that is easy. Why are you making people uncomfortable? I was planing to buy as well but i felt so uncomfortable and i didn't even ask to try them because they made me very uncomfortable and my bf already. I couldn't understand. Such rude behaviour. Don't ask for a tester or buy perfume. they are invaluable

I would give zero stars if possible. My wife just came home in tears because of how amazingly rude an inconsiderate the check out staff were at this location. This older lady continuously snapped at my wife, treated her as if she was a huge bother, and was condescending. When confronted about her behaviour, she became super defensive and tried gaslighting my wife as if she was the problem. Completely unacceptable. I'm shocked and appalled by this. Management needs to fix the issues with their staffing and get rid of these people that are obviously miserable and don't want to be working there.

Definitely want to counter some of the negative reviews at this location. I switched over to the pharmacy here a few years ago and am extremely glad that I did. The pharmacy staff are all extremely friendly and really take the time to get to know their customers and prioritize their needs. Disha is especially kind and we have been on a first name basis for over two years. She is extremely hard working and I know that she cares about my wellbeing upon every visit. Highly recommend this location for all your pharmacy needs!

There is a reason why this location is ranked so poorly. The cashier negotiates pricing of products with you at the register. What kind of headoffice run retail store is this?!! When emailed their headoffice to complain. They had the assistant manager of the store call and they left a voice mail to call back. I wasn't able to get a hold of them again. If someone messes up in labeling pricing at the store when its a manual sticker -- own up to it! This is not an accident when the entire shelf is that price!

  • Manfromnowhere

This is a review for the Post Office. Often people leave reviews only when they've had a negative experience. But In my case the clerks at the P.O were very polite and helpful with a package that needed locating, as I did not have a tracking number. The manager was on vacation and they were obviously understaffed ...so initially, I did feel a bit of frustration getting through to them. But when I did ....the two clerks who worked there were very accommodating. So thanks for that! They deserve a raise!!

Get a Canada Post notice that my package is at this respective in-store post office. Received notice card states Canada Post hours of business for today, open till 9 pm. Get to store after walking 20 minutes in snow and cold, only to be told by a staff member, “they are closed, not enough staff”. No, “I am sorry” or any empathy shown whatsoever. I can understand why this store is so poorly rated for their customer service. This store does not deserve my business.

Update pharmacy did not contact me, I was waiting a second time to receive meds that were not ordered on time. If the pharmacy does not figure out the med a client needs and order them, it isn't a shortage issue; it's actually the pharmacist or pharmacy not putting in the in order. Pharmacy has been helpful. Pharmacists have talent time to explain new meds and possible adverse affects. This is an organized store with quote a bit of discounted items at cash.

I had a sore shoulder and bought their best electric heating bad for $60...it worked for 2 days. I went to exchange it, they said I can't exchange it with them...need to send it to the manufacturer. What is the point of a store that won't handle its own merchandise? My shoulder is still sore...so I went to the Shoppers Drug Mart on the next corner and bought another heating pad for half the price...left the old one at the Rexall...won't go there again...

  • Carlos M

Just to counterbalance the negative reviews, I'm a regular at this store and never had any issues neither at the store nor the pharmacy. Everyone is nice and helpful. As an example, when I was trying to get a flu shot, they took my information in and called me a few days later to book an appointment. Went the following day and got my shot, no problem at all. Thank you rexall staff!

  • JENN FINLAY

I am a previous customer of United Drugmart @ 154 Ossington Avenue & Argyle. At United Drugmart they treated me like GOLD. Dyante the Rexall Driver who also worked at United Drugmart is always pleasant & Smiling. I would recommend this Pharmacy because the household products are reasonable. They also have a New Loyalty Program to earn points called Bewell

  • L.W He

The service at the pharmacy is absolutely horrendous. No communication with the customer, they're very quick to try and overcharge you. They don't even communicate with each other, often asking each other who has filled the prescriptions. What a mess. Some of the staff are nice, but not all (usually the ones that are not doing their job are the rude ones).

  • Jasmine Wong

I got my 3rd dose of Covid vaccine at this location. The staff were pleasant and helpful during my time there. Emad, who administered my shot, made the experience wonderful with his personable and kind nature. We had a nice conversation, and I left feeling happy. I also didn't feel the needle go in at all! Great service.

  • Candy Brignoli

I just wanted to give a shoutout to the two wonderful ladies working in the makeup/perfume section! I purchased a few perfumes over the past few months and they're always so kind and helpful, and that's definitely why I keep going back there! They make shopping at the neighborhood drugstore so much nicer!

  • Jessica

The worst Rexall location; entire Pharmacy is rude and incompetent - the way they speak to people is disgusting and completely unprofessional. Prices are 5x more expensive than anywhere else in the city. Don't waste your time here, there's a Shoppers 2 mins down the street.

  • Tatiana Tanizaki

Apparently they changed the return policy and they didn't tell anyone. You can't return anything if you left the store, even if you literally stepped 1 foot outside for 2s. Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and empathy during this time.

  • Leslie Savanyu

They sent SEVERAL messages about appointment for booster shot of Phizer, got there after taking time off work to find out that it is NOT phizer but Moderna...classic bait and swith tactic...will not go to Rexall again

  • Christopher Johns

Super pricy for everyday items like toothbrushes and deodorant. Basically 60% to 100% more than the shoppers down the street. Who pays 13.98 for a toothbrush?! But the selection is good and the people are also good.

  • Aria Palcich

The Pharmacist working Saturday morning was SO rude. I hope you see this and maybe consider relearning common courtesy. I will never be back to this rexall - shoppers seconds away and they are always pleasant.

  • Shruti Guneta

Pharmacist is way too rude. I had to get my prescription transfer and had to take medicine ASAP but that lady was so annoying and not ready to listen what I wanted to say! Poor customer service

  • Zulema Cardenas

The post office is so unorganized, often closed. I have been trying to get my parcel for 1 week now. Two days it was closed. I called before going but the phone was never answered.

  • Emerson Lackey

They have a self checkout that has been broken for years but refuse to fix it. Frequently has long lines, but their refusal to fix their equipment wastes their customers time.

  • sayo. ca

Some members of staff are attentive and helpful. I got Aveno serum with really good deal($38.99→$6) シーズンもの(クリスマスやバレンタインなど)や期限が近いスナックは激安になるのでたまにチェックしています。

  • Ian Duke

Rexall website states no referral letter required for third doses if individual is on immunosuppressant medication but pharmacist refused to honour this.

  • thirdav3nue xo

Great location employee kindly took the time to reprint my receipt despite it taking her some time, I really appreciated that she was patient and kind!

  • Jennifer C

Absolutely wouldn't shop here if not for the Canada Post. The older woman - possibly duty manager - isn't suited to customer service.

  • donna bird

post office opens 3 hours late & shutters up to 7 hours early. if your taking a canada post contract, staff your store accordingly.

  • Lynn Flatley

Very friendly and helpful staff. Got me set up with a store card and app. Nice variety of products in all different categories.

  • Jacqueline Daniel

This review is about the pharmacy not the shop. Pharmacists are not very knowledgeable about medications and are not friendly.

  • Josh Adams

Very rude, go to someone local they overcharge and argue with their patients probably one of the worst in GTA

  • Chaldean Alkemist

never had an issue, or used the pharmacy, had the products I needed, open reasonably late 10p

  • Diane F

This location has a nice clearance section, but unfortunately some staff members can be rude.

  • Jason Keller

Very overpriced. Consistently 30-50% pricier than the shoppers drug mart down the street.

  • Cedric Julliard

Rude to trans customer and not taking cash still, hard to give them my business

  • Honest Dave

Nice store but pricey compared to the shoppers down the street.

  • Art Winslow

This is a great location. People are always helpful and kind.
