"I applied to Ross about a week and a half ago passed both interviews even with the main manager Ashley it took a while for them to even get back to me and I actually had to be the professional and consistent one and I had to keep contacting them continuously they avoided me and avoided me rather than being professional and telling me “No you did not get the job” I gave the store manager Ashley very sensitive information and I am sure she is going to share it with everybody and I do not feel safe going into that store at all I am very uncomfortable I just recommend anybody that is trying to apply at the store if you’re going to apply there be prepared to be judged and prepare for just peer unprofessionalism the managers should all be fired and be replaced with Managers who can handle giving people the answers they deserve"

I've been going to Ross for as long as I can remember since most of these youngsters weren't even born yet. But I think they would say the same and anyone who goes in this store of any age there's something for everyone at a price for anyone so whether you need a shirt for a date or you just need some new shoes I just went in there and found some shoes I bought on Amazon for $70 I found them they're the exact same pair exact same condition exact box even and they were not even half the price.his store is stocked very well I've noticed their inventory is better than most parts of town I actually live far from here but this is the area I did grow up in and I travel just to get to the location not only for the inventory but also because the people who work at the store give true customer service, which is really something I don't see anymore. Most customer service nowadays that I get is more of an attitude of what do you want?... rather than how can I help you?.... since you're paying for me to have a job. No sorry thats the old retail manager in me, and not that I expect people to bend over backwards but to say hello or make sure you're doing okay every once in awhile if they walk by is key. This is also a huge part of inventory control making sure things aren't lost as well as making sure you get returning customers is just customer service which means attending to your customers and being polite so I've always been treated with respect as long as I'm respectful. I also love the selection from men's to women's to housewares to you know Footwear in both sections men's accessories women's accessories jewelry would be in both of those areas housewares includes everything from rugs to pillows to throws to blankets toys fountains lights smart devices headphones you name it they really have it so if I'm going to go buy clothing even though I've worked in retail management for companies like Urban Outfitters and fans or the North Face for 15 + years this is the store I would go to. Because I can get the same items from most of the stores I just mentioned for a fraction of the price. They seem to keep really good stock of sizes in also for me I wear a strange size because I'm kind of short and built so I wear a 32 waist for the 30 Lane switch isn't super uncommon but really isn't often found in discount stores not a whole section but they have an entire section they also have their sale racks where you can go grab a shirt for 499 and look like you just spent $100 so like I said there's something for everyone and I would at least give it a peek. There's also a jewelry Ray-Ban sunglasses Oakley I don't know you name it 00 and fragrances I forgot to add as well which range from Ralph Lauren to Armani and I've seen all kinds of different smells in there as well as women's. Sorry for the long answere but they deserve a good review
The staff has improved from first opening, and are friendlier and more real than previously. Still bothered by the "scriptedness" of this store as it seems that they must be critiqued by management more on their ability to deliver a particular line or enforce a specific policy (i.e. "please hang your items on this rack so I can count them and give you a card" for the fitting rooms) than to provide clear, exceptional, true customer service. I give them four stars for their ability to prevent theft, and their management two stars for being so scripted and suffocating with their employee expectations. The management team should watch some British "Mystery Shopper" shows for some pointers - maybe more praise and less obsessive observation of protocol on their pervasive security cameras. I shop at Ross approximately 75% less than I did when I lived in another state for the above-mentioned reasons, and I spend significantly less when I do go in because I feel the staff hovers in non-flattering ways. I only shop at this store now out of necessity - like when I really need something I can't wait for online and am waiting for my son in the sports store next door.
I applied to Ross about a week and a half ago passed both interviews even with the main manager Ashley it took a while for them to even get back to me and I actually had to be the professional and consistent one and I had to keep contacting them continuously they avoided me and avoided me rather than being professional and telling me “No you did not get the job” I gave the store manager Ashley very sensitive information and I am sure she is going to share it with everybody and I do not feel safe going into that store at all I am very uncomfortable I just recommend anybody that is trying to apply at the store if you’re going to apply there be prepared to be judged and prepare for just peer unprofessionalism the managers should all be fired and be replaced with Managers who can handle giving people the answers they deserve. This took a week of them wasting my time lingering me on when I never even knew I wasn’t getting the job I even turned down a couple actually. These people have no souls these days.
Upon entering the store the manager had me stand in front of the door and took a picture of me before she allowed me in the store. She said it was for theft reasons! I have never been to this store! Then she allowed me to get through the ropes. I was paying attention and she allowed other customers to go through with no problem. I feel I was discriminated against. Not a good way to run a business. Little did she know I was planning on spending a good amount of money there! I rather give it away then to spend it a a business that allows discrimination on their customers. I'm thinking of taking legal action. Nobody should have to be out on the spotlight and embarrassed like that.
Today was my first experience shopping at any Ross in many years. I liked the clothing and accessories as well as the prices. I was taken aback by fitting room attendant. I was unfamiliar with their fitting room policy as shoes are not allowed in. I wanted to try them on with the clothing but was unable and was curtly demanded to put my items on a rack to be counted upon entry and exit. Attendant said quite rudely that, "PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS STEALING SHOES AND I'M SICK OF IT". I personally try and avoid high crime areas so I dont think I'll shop here again.
I was impressed with the wide variety of products available, as well as the low prices. The store is clean and well-organized, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I found a few items that I really liked. I bought a pair of jeans for $19.99, a shirt for $9.99, and a pair of shoes for $14.99. I was very happy with my purchases. Overall, I had a great experience shopping at Ross Dress for Less. I would definitely recommend the store to anyone looking for a great place to find affordable clothing, shoes, and accessories
I'm a paying customer and I have shopped at this store I don't know how many times or how much money I have spent at this store but after tonight me and my family will not be shopping some we're else we're I felt imberassed it felt like I was being profiled I work at Lowes home improvement it wasn't customer service they were providing I had my son with me and how do I explain to a 5year old how come people were following us it was a moment in my life that I felt like dirt it was a very very bad experience
Went to Ross on Wyoming this morning and found a doggie bed at a great price. Went to go pay for it but mistakenly was standing in the wrong place. The young cashier at the front embarrassed me by telling me that I was in the wrong place and couldn’t I see all the other people standing on the other side. She was very curt and never smiled at anyone she served. I will never go back to Ross. TJ Max always treats their customers with respect and are courteous.
Inclement weather caused Ross stores to close in Albuquerque??? The snow was melted & roads were pretty much cleared by the time their business hours state they were to open. Since the owners of Ross can afford to close their stores over a little bit of snow then they can pay their employees more to be able to afford capable vehicles.
Walked in and wanted to try on some clothes in the changing room before buying them. The lady that was up there was beyond rude and screamed at me and said they were closed and that I needed to use the ones in the front. I don’t think I’m coming back here. The service sucks, no wonder why they always get robbed.
went there tonight was honestly surprised on how expensive some of the things were. Especially since their items that are out of date or out of season. The lady though was nice enough to allow me to run in and get what I needed 10 minutes before they were going to close. So staff was a great prices kind of suck
Nice security greeter but the cashier with the curly hair is very rude. No hello, and seems visible irritated with me when I couldn’t perform tasks that are her job. If you don’t like your job find a different profession. I’m happy to help out but you’re the cashier.
This store makes you stand in a roped off area before allowing you to walk inside. I told the security guard “this is weird. I’m not doing this.” They proceeded to try to convince me it wasn’t weird. I will never shop here again. I do not recommend
Racist and Rude staffs especially the curly hair woman behind the cashier!!!! I was just returning items then telling me that I shouldn’t be in the area that i should be there and keep on rolling her eyes!
I was able to find a pair of shorts for only $8 dollars. Plus Velory was able to help me navigate the store and provided amazing customer service. Huge shout out to her and the team there.
There is no room for racism in a state like New Mexico!! The Asian woman at the door that does security is racist and shouldn't be there if she doesn't like Hispanics.
One of the better locations in Albuquerque. The store is generally cleaner and more organized than most, though often they don't get as much stock as others.
It's still nice store but it's less and less to choose from especially the men's clothes.
A lot of stock. To bad bathrooms and fitting rooms were closed.
Very low and reasonable prices on everything!
