I work near this mall and today was the first day I sat in the sofa area of the FOOD COURT for my lunch. I brought my burger there from McDonald’s because McDonald’s seating area isn’t very clean either, and sometimes sketchy people or homeless will walk in there and sit by you or pass out beside you. As I sat in the mall food court, I looked to my left and there was a MOUSE and he was jumping up right beside me onto the sofa and went in behind the cushion of the sofa. I know Vancouver has a rodent problem, but I still instantly left. It’s a food court and PEST CONTROL should be better monitored. I’ve never seen that in a food court before. I’m talking more about the actual mall itself in this review rather than the individual businesses within the mall. Please get better mall management and pest control, thank you!
Rice 'N' Spice at the Royal Centre is an absolute treasure. I am a regular customer of theirs, and loyal because of the quality of the food they offer. I have been going there for years, but Covid had me working from home for 2.5 years. Now, I am back in office at downtown Vancouver and enjoy the food from them again. The taste is as great as it was before, and a great price for vegetarian dishes. They have a promotion where they offer a free meal after you have purchased a few times with them. Please ask them for it when ordering your first meal. Not later. A special shout out to Babak, an Iranian behind the counter for his professional work and demeanor. Definitely recommend this place. Not many in Vancouver are at this standard for quality ethnic food.
Was walking thru the mall that day and stopped in at the lottery kiosk. That was great no problems there as the normal may be. The staff at the kiosk are very friendly, always helpful, but at the same time mannered in a very professional way. That considering they are BCLC operated. I purchased a scratch and win, then went to find a seat on one of the benches scattered about within the mall. I found a nice spot above one of the escalators by the middle elevators. As I was scratching my ticket, low and behold, in typical fashion I was approache.d by one of the malls security guards who asked me one of the stupidest questions
Who actually trains these security guards every person who walks threw is looked upon as a thief or persons up to no good unless dressed to the nines seriously theres a crime in its self give your image a sake already and get a grip most people will go to online shopping and guess what you will be looking for another job think about that for a second....nobody wants to be violated the way your doing your job just saying don't judge the book by its cover unless...unless it's screaming iam who iam I bet you'd be still wrong ..
When I take skytrain to Burrad station if I have to go to washroom I always go there. And the other day...I had to wait for my friend like 30-40 minutes maybe around 1 hour...I found the little lounge area (3 sofas and more than 5 like bar sits and POWER OUTLETS for charging your phones or laptop...etc. and there are food court (most multicultural foods you know ) flower shop, dollar stores, walk in clinics, Driver's License Office, Victoria Chinese Restaurant (Wanna try for dim sum in the future).
another active mall close to skytrain and bus stops - where you go for drivers license renewal - many shops that people need on a daily basis - lots of great food throughout the mall - connected to one of Vancouver's nicest hotels - you can walk underground corridors that also connect to other shopping places in a few blocks radius.edit dec2023 as shown by my photos you can go a long distance underground there are interactive maps
We decided to come down from whistler and spend a day in Vancouver. The bus stop wad right at this centre so we decided to check out the mall and see what's going on, which wasn't much, most of the stores were shut and it was kinda deserted, even the entire food court was shut, but it's a nice place to go if your just trying to get out of the weather since their is a little seating area with 4 seats and a few plugs to charge up.
Convenient office tower in the downtown core with a diverse food court, a variety of tenants including a Rexall pharmacy with amazing pharmacists like Framin, a medical clinic, and major fast food chains such as McDonald's and Tim Hortons. There's a covered access to the Hyatt Hotel, the Royal Bank, Burrard Skytrain and Bentall 3.
This shopping mall is much bigger than meets the eye. It goes underground and has multiple levels with escalators to take you to each of the various levels. There is a staples here which is where certain couriered parcels are sometimes picked up. There is a food court. The number of shops is quite large, I must say.
Today I was walking by the car park and almost broke my leg because there was a hole on the path. The hole wasn't even covered with anything. They didn't have a warning regarding to this as well. Now, I can't even walk properly because of that. So to the people who are going there, be careful where you step.
The place was awesome. The place where I grabbed my grub was very friendly and helpful. The husband and wife owners of Le Viet were very willing to help and serve with no pressure. The food recommendation for me was very well priced and very delicious. I highly recommend it for the foodie in all of us.
Great place to shop. Stores include Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, Save on Foods, Kim's produce, Dollarama, BMO, White Spot, The Source, Dentists, Shoe Warehouse, Food Court, several Cell Phone Kiosks, a Telus Store, and numerous other stores. All with plenty of free underground parking! Recommended!
Mall itself is decent but incredibly deserted. There used to be a lot more stores but they are down to only a few actual retail stores as well as a mostly full food court and a couple of service based businesses. Great spot to walk through if it is pouring rain though to get to Burrard Street!
Not too bad for a place to get a cup of coffee while visiting ICBC, or Staples. They have food court, and some coffee shops, stationery store, dental office, restaurants. Located in downtown area, very easy to reach, but I never visited the place only to grab some food from the food court.
I am in the food court, bought food, ate, I am tiered and exhausted, I laid down on the sitting couches, security comes up to me and asks me to sit down, he said I can’t laid down because “they” don’t like it. I can’t relax after an exhausting day because the security doesn’t like it.
I felt like the center of Royalty here at the Royal Centre. Highly recommend. Take a stroll through the mall. Stop and browse the shops. Need driver services from ICBC you can do that here you Royal human you! Food Court here too if you're feeling famished. Get some!
Royal Centre was clean, well-kept and not too crowded, reflecting the area of town it's in. 4 stars because I don't have reason to go there much. There were some homeless people sleeping on the street, not bothering anyone, and one had a
First I apologize this a a mistake I went to Staple store which the main entrance is located on Burrard street, how can I comment on this issue.... I am not at liberty to state in anyway shape or form possible, however I am at liberty to
Whats not to love? There is an ICBC, food court with great bubble waffle and Chinese set lunches (with legit HK milk tea!), Staples, dim sum place (Victoria) and a florist for nice flowers in a pinch. I like how this connects to all the
I've been using the food court at this mall for 6 months now. There are good restaurant alternatives. I even like couple of them a lot. At lunch time from 12 pm to 1 pm it is very crowded. You may find it difficult to find a table.
Nice place undoubtedly including food items provided by Tim Hortons & other fast food shops; most importantly, modern toilet facilities with best sanitisation approach as expected, in addition to many other activities .
My favourite place. You will find so many different businesses like clothing's, electronic, shoes, watches, mobile, etc. The food court is amazing. Plenty of places and so many different food restaurants to choose with.
Looking for a quiet place to wait or chill downtown.. I usually grab my coffee or lunch and head to the foodfair seating area. Clean, close to washrooms and tv if you want to check on news.. wifi is iffy.
It's a good mall that functions well with the Burrard Station. It's a mall that mostly operates from Monday to Friday to accomodate business people. Little to no action on a weekend.
First time visit Vancouver, so of course we had to try Tim Hortons. Love the foux fireplace ambience. Food is just ok, but a great break from our walking tour.
Had to replace ID, and pick up some paint, it's never over crowded as a shopping centre so I end up picking up the unique items here pretty often.
Main reason to visit - the ICBC office :) In the morning, there might be some funky smells 'cause the food court's starting to prep their food
Your typical downtown/central business district shopping mall. Decent food court with Asian emphasis. Next to the SkyTrain station
Not a bad mall. Lots of the food options in the food court are Asian and there isn't much variety except for a McDonald's.
This mall needs a energy investment!! Can't say it feels good. Needs a serious face lift.....or more
Great gym in there for a free tenant one. Also, it's beside one of the best sandwich places in town
Shops close in weekend except Victoria Restaurant, a flower store, Rexall, McDonald n Tim Hortons.
Royal Center Mall is a wonderful shopping and dining venue on Vancouver Harbor. Worth a visit!
My visit was joyful, pleasant, and the food made with heart. I recommend visiting this mall.
Homeless doing drugs in the bathroom!! Seriously what is Vancouver becoming.....
Wasn't that bad, easy to use maps and lots of names with directions.
Great food court with free wifi.
Always find wjay you need
