Weird and unjust ticket policy. Firstly, ticket prices are insane! The cheapest is 26 EUR. There is a ridiculous discount in the amount of 2 EUR for students. In the half of Europe the discount amount to 10 or more percents but not in Spain. I paid that money and got a ticket. Because I was late for 40 minutes because of some personal problems I got rejected to enter the temple. They never returned me money saying that’s its their policy. That’s not a policy that’s a robbery. Of course they pointed out they have something written on their website. But please make it explicitly written with some big letters at least. I’m sure that a lot of people face that issue
If you’re in Barcelona you have to visit. Its like going to London and not seeing Big Ben or going to Paris and not going to the Eiffel Tower. Although some important tips!! Book tickets online in advance and definitely with an audio guide. I went smack dab in the middle of the afternoon which was probably a big mistake because it was hella crowded! I assume early morning and late afternoon would be best. Get your insta pix of the whole structure at the park across the way and at the tail end of the lake where you have a perfect view!
¡El famoso Sagrada Familia! Very impressing to see it in the real life. We heard a lot during our history classes when we were young and my friends were finally able to see it! Each time I’m going to Barcelona i see it evolving and each time I’m as impressed as I see it at the first time. In the picture it doesn’t seem so high, but I assure you that in real life it is so hugeeeeeee Can’t wait to see the works finished!!!! (Because it has been a long time that the sagrada familia is still on construction.....)
Sagrada Familia is an unique place where you gonna feel absolutely impressed immediately you enter. To enjoy better all the lights there it's better to go in the morning or in the afternoon, just not in the evening. It's definitely worth visiting. It's better to buy the tickets in advance to avoid the long line. Thankfully, there are many entrances for different types of groups such as school groups, organized groups, for people with tickets etc. to avoid the long lines to get in. It's wheelchairs accessible.
Absolutely stunning! Amazing structure and history. Even if you don't have time to go inside, as the tickets need to be purchased ahead of time for specific times and the lines are very long, still worth to walk around the building. On going construction definitely is a little annoying as some parts are covered, but hopefully it will be done one day. The craftsmanship is nothing short of stunning. I suggest going earlier in the day in hopes of avoiding the crowds but regardless it is s must see!
Sagrada Família is a Most Famous place in world specially in SPAIN Barcelona its has a Great history On 19 March 1882, construction of the Sagrada Família began under architect Francisco de Paula del villar In 1883, when Villar resigned, Gaudí took over as chief architect, transforming the project with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms. you can visit this place and book tickets online ...
We visited Sagrada Familia June 2022. We saw it only from outside. A piece of art. Very long lines to go inside. You have to wait a long time because there are many people. Maybe you can try to go visite this in the opening. We went there at noon and it was to crowded. But it is very beautiful! There is a little park there with a small lake and a small kids playground. There you can find trees and relax for a little.
Impresionante.
I downloaded their app to book tickets but tried more than a dozen times without success, even though there were places available. Each time I tried to pay it did bot allow me. Serious disappointment. You can only book online. I will let them know in no uncertain terms what I think of their system. Why can 't you just queue and pay.? Ridiculous.
Indeed an architectural treasure. There is no way to describe what you would experience. And once you enter the basilica, the dreamlike masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí, it overwhelms your senses and touches your soul. Still under construction, 136 years later, number one must see for me when I visit Barcelona again.
This station is the nearest one for Sagrada Família. You go upstairs to ground then you see the huge architecture. That is awesome! A lot bit packed with tourists. So watch out and be careful of pocket picker but Basotho didn’t feel any dangerous atmosphere or had feelings. Good station! Enjoy!
Excellent Architecture. One of the most admired structures in the world. Really amazing to see the church. One of the must see place in Barcelona and Europe. Best of the Gaudi's masterpieces. Hope the construction will complete soon and should see the real beauty of this structure.
There is no doubt about it, this is a must see while in Barcelona. It is very crowded, but the church is quite grande to accommodate the tourists. It is magnificent both the outside and inside. Highly recommend you get an audio guide to appreciate the full story of the church.
The jewel of Barcelona. You can download the audio guide before going or do it over there(rem to bring your headphones). Also you can visit the Museum for FREE after that. Keep around 2-3 hours at least if you want do the complete tour without rushing. Beware of crowds...:p
Stunning cathedral! This visit was part of an excursion of Barcelona, we only looked at the outside, our guide explained that there is still lots more work to be carried out which could take another 15 years. Each part of the building tells a story.
I've been looking forward to this visit for almost 20 years. You have to expect it'll be chaos, because of what it is; so besides that, it was beautiful. Amazing. Breathtaking. Spiritual. I'm still at a loss for words on the experience.
We had a very bad experience at this metro station. It's our first time encountered a group (1 man and 3 ladies) doing pick pocket against us. Thankfully, we didn't lose anything. But it really affected our impression of Europe travel.
Visited here in August 2018, 21 years after I last visited. Whatever you may think of the architectural vision you have to admire the dedication of the people behind the project to realise something amazing. Worth a trip.
This is the review for the station, not the basilica, but our phone got stolen when we where getting off the train at this station, so be careful and keep it zipped and locked
Magnificent architecture and lovely atmosphere. Located right in the city centre. The tickets were sold out when we arrived so it's always better to buy or book online
Magnificent temple. The Sagrada Familia looks fantastic from the outside but it looks even better from the inside. It takes about an hour to visit the whole thing.
RELAX TIME LOVE & RESPECT UNBELIEVEBLE ❤️…
Beautiful piece of architecture, place too buzzing for me,so crossed road and watched these old guys playing some kind of crotchet in small park.
Wonderful place...one of a kind historical churh building in the world. Come and visit to experience the place and beautiful atmosphere...
This catedral is one of the things that must be visited. Stunning design and architecture. Buy tickets online several days in advance.
Amazing architecture. The whole place can be walked in less than 30 minutes (ground level). Recommend doing the self guided tour.
Majestuoso templo, visita obligada si vienes a Barcelona.
A fantastic building still not complete. You need to see it both outside and in where the true magic comes to 'light'
Dont miss this place , amazing feeling from inside and outside . Use the internet to order a tickets . Dont pay more.
MOLT be Very Good Place To visit But You Need Ticket For Enterance but You can Enjoy Scenery Enterance..…
Nice metro station with ticket machines and frequent trains, easily navigable thanks to good signage.
Splendid lifetime work of Gaudi, his followers are striving to complete this every expanding work
Entrance to either of the steeples requires a reservation and advance purchase of a ticket
Beautiful place, not to be missed... Reflection of sun light from stained glass is amazing
It is completely worth it to go inside and make a tour; beautiful outdoors, and inside,
Great peice of history, a real gem. The colored sunlight are awesome.
Very interesting. Must see if you are in Barcelona.
Es grandioso tan glorioso arte de construcción
