I left this place a 5 star review two years ago but changing it now. I wish I could give them zero or negative stars. Went there today to get a bunch of things. One item was price tagged for $3.99 on the item and on the shelf all other items like this were tagged $3.99. At the register the item scanned as $7.99! I told the cashier about the errors. He called the manager who said the price is what the computer says. I asked him to come with me to the shelf where I got the item from, and showed him that everything was tagged as $3.99. He started peeling off all the tags. I told him that he needs to honour the price that I saw first and he says in a bad tone of voice "no, you want it, you have to pay $7.99". They are rude and have zero concept of customer service or integrity. They are thieves. Tricking you with cheap price tags on the shelves and hoping that you don't notice the mark up at the register. I was buying a whole bunch of other things but I left everything and walked out. I don't hand over my hard earned money to thieves. Especially thieves that pretend they are religious and sell holly books. Shameful Samir! Never going back there again.

As a regular, I was always happy with their butcher shop service and quality. Their former guys were friendly and helping, but it seems changing. One of the new guy in butcher shop have no idea about his job, unprofessional in character and wasting time. After giving clear instructions, he basically screwed my items. He could have simply ask, instead acting himself as boss and wasting other's time. His work deserves "0" star. May be Samir supermarket need to train their guys about customer care. After all we are paying a good price and deserves better service. Now I should think twice before I need to make another run.

I’m so disappointed I called a day before and I called last week both section grocery and restaurant nobody pick up the phone also when I discuss with the girl at storefront she said because we busy they cannot pick up the phone this young lady was so rude and didn’t even say apologize and she said very rudely that we are busy we cannot pick up the phone I said but I am the customer and I want to order and she said I cannot help not my problem I hope they to attention for these things otherwise you will lose all Customers because the place where have no customer service then why should customers go there

I used to shop here frequently. Then one day I became suspicious and weighed the meat I purchased. It was very different from the weight posted in the sticker. Meat and chicken lose weight in cleaning but ground beef is weighed as is. It was off by 20%. Next time I went there, I asked them if there scale was calibrated. They said yes of course. I bought chicken and ground beef. Only this time, I asked them not to cut or clean the chicken. When I got home, the weight was off by 20% again. If they are cheating on weight, they are probably cheating on quality and hygiene. Avoid this store.

A little bit expensive meat section, and all other a reasonably priced. Have a bunch of options to go from mostly Pakistani or Afghani. They have a few items that can't be found in aby other place but then also they miss some most common groceries. Overall a great store with lots of Islamic and Halal products. Customer service has always be great, they only have one checkout station so you will be waiting in line for long if visiting during busy hours. To my surprise they had lamb Brian and gizzard and all that I was craving for but couldn't find any place else even in gta.

YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN THEY CASH YOU OUT The guy works at the cashier always trying to steal money today he over charged me for Cream cheese Puck and rice after I paid I noticed there is a different price in the receipt then on the shelves and I went back and he refunded me back the different and he did not even bother and apologize most of the staff very rude they talk to you like you own them money or they giving the stuff for free come on customer service!!!! One more thing they are always over price then other stores so my advice to you do not go there.

I went to purchase couple of staff ( liver/ brain)on Friday morning and told me that they didn't receive it yet and maybe in the afternoon. Or the next day when clearly the customer that the other butcher was serving gave her the liver. I don't understand if they have the freight why they understanding it . Maybe for regular customers I don't know . Also. Myself and other 2 customers were waiting while they qwee sitting up the counter and filling it with freight instead of stopping and helping customers . Not nice

Very good fresh naan bread. Their grocery store area is got alot of variety and this place is always busy. Not a big fan of meat area and the restaurant that's why not giving 5 stars. Customer service is ok, nothing exceptional. If you are looking for all kind of middle eastern grocery items and Pakistan Indian items you can find at this store easily.

We ordered food from Samir Restaurant and got the half cooked food which was raw from inside and burnt from outside! When I called the restaurant three people came over the phone and start arguing why I am complaining? My experience is very bad ,its waste of money and time to buy the food and then after complaining...Wrong place worst service.

Great store! They have a great selection of items, anything from fresh fruit and veggies to bread to meat. Best goat and lamb in town! They also have chicken and beef. In addition, you can find special things like liver, tongue and heads here too. They will slice the meat for you and everything is halal. It's a pleasure to shop at this store!

Excellent customer service. The meat section is exceptional and has great fresh halal meat with reasonable prices. One of the workers there named Farish was so helpful when i needed Aqeeqah meat for my son. The order was correctly noted just a few days with proper instructions and delivered just as i needed it. Thank you! Highly recommended

If you're looking for that ingredient that may be hard to find, you could probably find it here. If you are looking for aged steaks, Porter house, sirloin, flank steak, prime rib roast you are not going to find those here. The meats are really fresh, just not cuts that are found in real butcher shops.

I have been shopping from here for 5 years now and they never let me down. They have an amazing team with good manner & great customer service. The quality of meat is always fresh & always available anytime i call to place my order. Big thank you and i really appreciate keep up the good work guys.

Drove from Niagara Falls to buy Fresh Naan but was told by the young lady that aren't available today (Mondays), she was still really helpful, friendly not to mention her great smile. Didn't catch her name but she was the gorgeous young hijabi up front. Will be back in a couple weeks. Thanks.

This supermarket is run by great family. Which gives me a feeling of family. Everyone's r so nice and polite. great customer service and meat section is clean and we'll organiz. Samir restaurants is one of my best Afghan food in Hamilton and Niagara county. Keep it up guys. EXCELLENT.

This place has the best selection of dates I've seen. Mashrook, khudri, rabia, ajwa and more. See picture below, although may be seasonal, specific to Ramadan. They also carry a hard to find items like dried pomegranate powder and black seed oil at good prices. Impressed.

I would like to share one thing that I have seen here couple of times, plz everyone check ur bills payment when u pay for whatever you buy here. It seems they charge extra and be picky on your payment, I wish they fix this issue asap and take it serious.

Some fellow on the meat section are Racists , they are asked me they closed the meat section, I was ok, however I seen that they given meat to their community peoples who came after me , I questioned them , they have not answered me about that

I usually donot like eating Indian food. However this was an absolute pleasure. No doubt best Indian food ive had. Was so good had to order double servings. And the chef was amazing and extremely hospitable. Would recommend this for anyone!!!

They are the best always I am a customer with them long time ago but they have new Arabic girls on the cashiers she’s not familiar with customer service she’s angry and not helpful I hope the owners will follow up with my review

Very good place for Indian subcontinent and middle eastern grocery. Great place for halal meats,fresh bakery, vegetables and so many more. Staffs here are very hospitable, and always smiling. Wheel chair accessibles.

Samir Supermarket has excellent customer service. There are kind and hardworking employees.They have an amazing selection of meat, such as goat, lamb, chicken and beef. Plus everything is halal. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I love it. Everything is getting so expensive. People who used to buy whole goat are getting by just with a leg. Nevertheless, store is doing great. Meat section is amazing. I found chicken hearts after long time.

Getting better day by day. Meat section is good but in billing section they overcharged me 3 different times and everytime they said its a mistake. How many times of mistake takes to say its a crime?

People at the cashier are friendly, but some worker at the meat section are rude. "one little short guy". They also need to update their info with the meat section closing before store hours.

Good variety in Indo-Afgan-Pak groceries and imported foods. A great team in meat section which is one of the finest providing all kinds of halal meats for people from the the ethnic region.

My local & go-to butchers. I moved here from Scarborough which has a lot of Halal options, I was very lucky to find Samir butchery who offers excellent halal meats at an affordable price.

The most part I love about this store is that staff is very friendly. We asked about a produce and they specially brought better ones on the back for us. Cashier is also very friendly.

Good meat selection, they have raised prices in their restaurant to a point that it doesnt seem reasonable anymore. Cleanliness in the restaurant needs a lot if improvement.

They get fresh pita bread every day. Sooo good and soft. I never bought meat from there. But the shelves have a wide range of middle eastern products. Recommended.
