The food here was subpar and the attitude of the staff was downright rude. Came here for my birthday brunch and received serious attitude over 2 eggs that cost maybe 30 cents each. My husband and son both ordered eggs, my husband extra easy, over-easy (which means extra runny) and my son just regular over-easy. My son’s eggs came out hard cooked. When we politely pointed it out, no offer to rectify was presented. We had to ASK for new eggs for my teen. A short time later, we heard the “cook” loudly profess, Gordon Ramsey style, that he can’t cook eggs any more runny, obviously assuming it was my husbands eggs that we were referring to. The cook himself then came out with two basically raw eggs for my teen. When we showed him my son’s hard cooked eggs and my husband’s perfectly cooked eggs, he realized his mistake and offered to cook them properly, but it was too late for us. Why would we want a spiteful cook handling any more of our food? How an utterly disgusting way to treat your customers. We were right and you assumed we were wrong and treated us so poorly as a result of your incorrect assumptions. I almost laughed out loud when they offered us the dessert menu. It was a mistake to come here to eat in the first place, so we went elsewhere for my birthday desert. This place did not deserve our business. Not just the food but the experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths.

Only a 1 ⭐️!!! Would like to give this cosy little restaurant a 5 ⭐️, considering it is a great theatre Aquarius pre show spot. A large group of ladies minus 2 from the reso, were treated horribly/basically bullied! Unfortunately, the server/owner/Kristen was extremely rude, (quite possibly she was having a bad day, and took it out on our party. The service got a 3/5, the food 5/5 which everyone at the table enjoyed throughly. The soup , burgers , and pasta were delicious The server could have easily fixed a issue, (2 members of the cancelled out) by simply asking if we could give up a part of the table to 2 customers, instead, she did not ask, and throughout the whole hour of our dining experience she was very miserable . A member of our group required H2O to take medication , she asked once, twice, and finally a third time! Kristen chose to ignore her request, she was forced to use the washroom sink to get water! Not acceptable! TBH I honestly wanted to give a 5⭐️ review, a very unfortunate experience! Kristen smile more!

We walked over from the Homewood suites, it was an adventure. No views or ambience to really speak of, but the food more than makes up for the shortcomings of the fixtures. Food was tasty, but plating was not remarkable. In order for me to take a picture, it should be a feast for the eyes. We had the pizza, too marks for the crust. Soup of the day was roasted peppers, and you can taste the gas burner char. The patti has a hard burned grill crust, too thin in my opinion if it was going to be left in for that long. My wife got the Salmon tartar, the bitter leaf was a nice contrast to the fleshy salmon. She contemplated the Yellow fin tuna, but settled on the mushroom gnocchi. She thought it was good. The coffee and tea service was at the level of a diner with nicer China. It tasted like the bulk hotel grade, and it was too weak to complement the exceptional Tiramisu. I think it was made on-site and with real mascarpone. Not great for a family, my kids liked the food, but with their pallet, we could have gotten better value at a Boston Pizza. We would go again as a date, and I regret not getting the duck.

We have not been to the restaurant so can’t rate the atmosphere but the food and service is incredible. We’ve ordered on Uber Eats 3 times this month. 2 times getting the French onion grilled cheese with their soup & the chicken sandwich. It arrived HOT & CRISPY both times and the flavours were on point. We also ordered their Passion Flakey which is beyond delicious. We also tried their Bannofee tart which tasted like a banana cream pie on steroids is was so dang good (super rich ate it in 2 sittings). The one time they forgot our soup not only did they call to apologize & were we refunded but the next time we ordered they sent an extra one with a note. So kind and thoughtful. Will definitely be making an appearance to the restaurant soon and sure I’ll be ordering more in the mean time! Wish we took pics but we kind of inhaled it once it arrived lol

Went for lunch. Got cocktails (i had a manhattan), shared a mushroom flat bread for appetizer, and the chickpea fritter sandwich of my main. The Manhattan was really really good... hit the spot. The mushroom flatbread was among the best I've ever had made with what i believe is goat cheese. The chickpea fritter sandwich was also excellent ... perfect for a lunch after which you have to go back to work. Maybe slightly on the spicy side for the uninitiated, but for my Indian, palate it was just perfect. The service... also amazing. Very attentive. The only thing that is slightly lacking in this restaurant is the barebones decor. As the kitchen is open to the dining room, you can always hear the loud kitchen hoods. So it has more of a diner feel than a restaurant with a dining room. But the food and drinks more than make up for it.

What a lovely restaurant. We celebrated a birthday (my mother-in-law) with a large family group here. Seasoned was able to accommodate our large party of 16 and meet the dietary restrictions of several of us readily. The food was outstanding. I had the steak fries as an entree and the steak was perfectly prepared and delicious. Fries were crispy and very tasty. We sampled several appetizers and pizzas as well. The arancini were great and both the Margherita and Canadian pizzas were delicious. I barely had room for dessert after but was glad I did. The tiramisu was definitely worth the wait. Thank you to all at Seasoned who created such a wonderful experience for our family. Well worth a visit for an amazing meal.

I had booked this venue for a bridal party in between dress shopping. I called, and without any hesitation, Kristin was accommodating and very welcoming! She even extended their $5.00 mimosa special for us! Their caesar salad is delicious, the croutons tasted like they were made in house, and the ingredients tasted natural. I had the mussels, which were incredible! The other girls had the burger, and said theirs was delicious. I did steal some of their fries which were perfect in terms of their saltiness and they were crispy but soft on the inside! Due to the fact that they had an open kitchen, we could see the chef, who was genuinely smiling and made the place feel homey. I would totally take a first date here and am totally going to bring my friends back.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful meal. We started with a cocktail that had wonderful coordinating flavors. Forget the name but had bourbon and April. The mushroom flatbread and steak tartar were a treat. Lovely flavors was becoming a theme. Next up were the duck confit and gnocchi. The duck was so crispy and tender with lovely roasted seasonal vegetables. And the gnocchi was soft and in a wonderful cream sauce. My girlfriend loved the sausages in the gnocchi. Desert was not a letdown. Tart candied lemon in canolies and a beautiful light flakie were the perfect ending. This place is such a gem. I wish I lived closer. Thank you for such a treat.

Finally got to Seasoned for lunch. What a great experience. My mother got the homemade burger. She said that she would not asked for the condiments (which came on the side) had she known the burger was so delicious on its own. I had the anti pasti on recommendation of our friendly and personable server. I’m so pleased she recommended it, the flavour of everything was beyond on point. I also had the soup which was caramelized onion and parsnip today, also delicious. Would recommend to anyone. Lots of options to meet dietary needs.

Seasoned Restaurant was easy to find with ample parking nearby in a municipal lot or on the street. Warmly greeted by front of house staff. The open kitchen created an intimate culinary atmosphere. Dining area is cozy and the ambiance is complemented by high quality linens, simple decoration and cleanliness. Wait staff were knowledgeable, timely and friendly. Lunch and drink menus had a variety of options and staff accommodated a member of our party with something off menu. Reasonably priced for the quality of cuisine. Overall a pleasing experience, we will be back!

I’ve lived in Hamilton my entire life and had no idea this restaurant was here but I’m so glad that I found out about it. Our patio dining experience was great. We came on Canada’s day which was a rainy day but we were able to stay dry. The food was delicious, staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Yukon golden fries and Italian meatballs for appetizer then pasta pomodoro and pork tenderloin for our entrees. The presentation of the food was exceptional and it all tasted amazing. Seasoned is definitely a hidden gem and we highly recommend it!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. From the quaint but comforting atmosphere to the exceptional food and service, this restaurant deserves every 5 star review it gets and more. Special shutout to the chef who cooks a grilled salmon and veggies beyond equal and prepares duck confit that famous French chefs would be jealous of. Oh and their pizza? Don't think for a second that it's typical. It may be the simplest her tastiest pizza I've had that I can remember. Stop thinking about whether you should come here. Just go. You won't regret it.

Seasoned Restaurant is just what this city needs! We went for a friends birthday, we had the Autumn Salad, Cavatelli Pasta and my friend had the Osso Buco and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our choices. The flavours and quality were top notch. Our server Kristin was so helpful in pairing the best wines and a tasteful mocktail that complimented my dish. I didn't feel left out as a non-drinker. The Chefs are clearly passionate about their craft and it shows. I can't wait to go back!

I went there a year ago, it was awesome for duck breaat and steak with chimichurri sauce. I couldn’t forget the taste from the combination of steak and sauce, so I went here again yesterday. I should say the quality is still fabulous and I should make no complaint on it! Even my partner who don’t eat steak often, she said the steak was delicious. I would definitely come again for the duck breast next time. (Chimichurri sauce is so good but it is not on the serve list)

Stopped here for a quick lunch before heading back to the office and was thrilled with my experience. Prompt and friendly service; fantastic food. Got the grilled chicken sandwich on focaccia with fresh-cut fries -- strongly recommend. Tiramisu for dessert... divine! Almost too big a portion to finish but I persevered. Our family has had seasons tickets to the theatre for 20 years, and we often had dinner at the former restaurant next door, which is now Seasoned. The prices were good and the service was excellent. On our first visit back to the new bistro before theatre, we were not very impressed. The food was average and the service was not very warm. We have heard the same response from our friends.

This is a real Gem and next door to Theatre Aquarius. Our lunch after our Saturday Matinee was exceptional. My wife's sandwich was large and she brought half home for her lunch the next day. I ask a special request because of a diet I was on and the chefs were able to accommodate me. Staff were friendly and served us extremely well. We will definitely return and not just after theatre.

We enjoyed a beautiful brunch featuring $5 mimosas and the most delectable eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce was the best ever, complimenting perfectly poached eggs. A beautiful arugula, mushroom and asiago salad finished the plate to perfection. An intimate family run business the owners were cooking and serving and took the time to chat. We loved it and can't wait to return.

Nice patio and waitress. My sister enjoyed her pizza. My niece's $18 cheeseburger was sadly wasted. The patty crumbled off. My steak was not worth it. I asked for medium and it came burnt outside and raw in the middle. Very chewy I had to spit out quite a bit. And they serve cooked green onions as a side dish which I left as garnish. Save your $30 plus for the keg or red lobster.

There is no other restaurant in the province that compares to the love and taste you will find at seasoned. I've ordered every meal for the past week from these fellas and it just continues to amaze me in quality and personal touch. You NEED to visit and discover your new favourite spot in Hamilton/Ontario/Canada. Shout out chef Matty, give that man a raise. 10/10

Absolutely the best restaurant in the area. We love date night here. Their buns and breads are always melt in your mouth delicious. The burger is perfectly grilled and the lunch chicken sandwich is magical. It’s fancy enough for your date or special occasion but casual enough not to feel stuffy or pretentious.

Nice, laid back atmosphere that's just enough upscale to not appear stuffy. Great food, we ordered the grilled octopus, steak frites and tiramisu. Everything was done really well, the steak a tad bit more rare than expected. Service was prompt amd attentive. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place for an intimate dinner.

We came to celebrate a birthday. The Fri night seafood special was flavourful with a bit of kick, the pasta carbonara was done perfectly and the chicken focaccia was done exactly as desired! Parking was easy to find, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Service was excellent! We will be back to try more of the menu!!

My wife and here enjoyed an impromptu dinner on the patio here and we were delighted with our choice in food. I got the steak frites and my wife got a pork chop and both were cooked to perfection. A friendly server, and great food on a beautiful summer evening. Couldn't ask for more.

My experience at Seasoned restaurant was quite good. My friend had the octopus and I had the mushroom crostini...both great appetizers. The veggie with a kick pizza was pleasant, and the tiramisu was satisfying. We'll be back!
