The health center is the most unprofessional medical staff I've ever encountered. They cancelled an appointment I made several weeks in advance on the day of. When I tried to reschedule, they couldn't get me in until the following month because priority goes to "yeast infections and things like that." I asked if I could have someone else's appointment in the event they cancel, at which point the woman on the phone got audibly irritated, like this was an extravagant and far-fetched request, and the call ended. Fast forward and I'm getting a call back from an upset nurse practitioner for the sole purpose of squabbling with me over the previous phone call and who had no intention of getting me an exam. Completely asinine behavior from someone who is supposed to be a health care professional.
You are better of at attending community colleges or just stay away from Seattle school with exception of uw. Tho not a private school. Seattle u has racial discrimination qualities, terrible security, president of the school is just the face of diversity of the school nothing any real good comes out of his position as himself just used as a prop. Terrible services for any support in this school when you have issues. If your a black student be wary and make sure you have any logo on you to at least indicate that you are not a crazy stray ag night. This is a waste of your money and a waste of your education as a person of color and as a person who values good education fight to get into Bellevue college or uw. Don’t go here
I'm on my way. And whoever wished ill will things on my lovely Washington state is gonna get it. Back off of my favorite U.S. state. San Juan Islands we are getting married soon lovely Friday Harbor lady. I need a nice plantation ranch of my own. Hicks out. :-) Hicks in.... Ahhhhh air. :-) Fresh air. Fresh water/salt of course too. Hahahahaha Howlauya 21st of May. :-) You can take the boy out the country but you can't take the country out the boy. I will survive. Look up the DMV. I wanna stay. :-) UW! UDUB welcome. :-)
I'm getting my masters are there in Computer Science. While it is not as intense as I would have expected it to be, it is definitely a great second choice to UW if you are looking for in person classes and are interested in pursuing a PHD. It is worth noting that the UW Professional Master's in Computer Science will not help you get a PHD. The lack of a project or research will block you from PHD programs.
I live only 3 blocks from here and it's got rare plants so I like that since I need a cane to go places. Too bad a Street goes through campus so they got a skybridge that goes to third floor so you have to use steps or elevators on both ends. Otherwise so nice campus.Update: New campus store now moved to 12th and Madison Street. Actually off campus. I miss old one but it is more junk there.
Nice campus and only glitch is James Street seperates campus. Nice plants of rare varieties. The Campus Book Store moved to Madison Street off campus and the Cave on Campion is now under new management or gone? It's no longer accessible to non students l found out. Two bad moves.Add these two glitches. It's still a nice campus.
This university is amazing. The small class sizes, quality of food, nice buildings, beautiful campus, friendly people, and school programs/athletics make this university a wonderful place. This school is going places, and will certainly be a "powerhouse" in all things in a few years. I am proud to be a student here!
I had a campus tour with a friend of mine who was a Masters student at the university. I like the ambience, lots of space for outside reading or hanging out. The university is also well located with lots of places nearby and can be conveniently reached through bus or train.
My daughter went here for two years and hated every single minute of her wasted time and money. Her credits from there are not transferable because every school in the area knows it doesn’t have real teachers or classes. There’s 100% a
If you're looking for a place to take a nice stroll on a sunny day, this is a great place! The landscaping is top notch! You can find an unofficial dog park here, as well as a fountain to wash the dogs off afterwards! ha
Dedearia ver las estatuas del campus concretamente la de un indio monyado en un caballo, los brazos caidos (comp si acabaran de abatirlo ) , agradeceria mucho si alguien pudiera enviarmela, gracias desde León, España.
While I do not attend this school I live in the area. The campus is beautiful and has many walking paths. It's a great alternative to taking 12th. They even have some public building so you can use the ATMs.
Great campus in the heart of Seattle's coolest neighborhood. Check out the multicultural student center in the student union. A must see and the people are great:)
Stayed here for a short bit, but it was enjoyable. Nice campus, however there were some crazies that would wander on campus occasionally
Overall a pleasant place to be. Much less crowded than UW during passing periods, and broadly similar architecture and styling.
This a cool place to check out even if you have gone to this University. It has a unique vibe and it has a nice environment.
Nice campus! It seems really small but when you walk around it's cool to see how integrated it is within the neighborhood.
I was able to buy books for self study and test out of a lot of courses, the staff is very accommodating.
Great law school! Beautiful campus and very friendly and helpful professors.
Best University for Mechanical engineering in the heart of Seattle
Didn't go here, but it's a gorgeous campus to walk around.
Great neighborhood. Quiet and close to public transit.
