I recently had the misfortune of staying at Casablanca Tour Blanca during a corporate customer event, and I must express my deep disappointment with nearly every aspect of my stay. Regrettably, my experience at this hotel was marred by numerous issues that significantly impacted my overall satisfaction. Upon arrival, it became evident that cleanliness was not a priority at Casablanca Tour Blanca. The bathroom was plagued with hair from previous occupants, and the presence of dirty clothes left behind by the previous guest only added to my dismay. Stains on various surfaces were prevalent, and an unpleasant moldy smell permeated the room, making it an extremely uncomfortable environment. Adding to the list of grievances was the poor functionality of the air conditioning system. Despite my attempts to adjust the settings, it failed to provide any respite from the heat, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and restless throughout my stay. This lack of attention to basic amenities made the entire experience even more frustrating. The food offered at the hotel was subpar, to say the least. I found it to be of low quality and poorly prepared, resulting in disappointing meals. The lack of variety and limited options further contributed to the overall negative impression I formed during my time there. In terms of service, I regret to say that the staff, with few exceptions, failed to meet even the most basic standards. However, I would like to acknowledge the commendable efforts of Hicham from the front desk or security, who demonstrated a more helpful and friendly demeanor. Unfortunately, their positive presence only emphasized the stark contrast in service quality between themselves and the majority of the staff, further highlighting the hotel's overall inadequacy. Considering the multitude of issues I encountered during my stay at Casablanca Tour Blanca, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and comfortable experience. The lack of cleanliness, malfunctioning amenities, subpar food, and underwhelming service truly lowered the standard of this establishment. It is my sincere hope that the management takes these criticisms to heart and takes immediate action to rectify the numerous shortcomings that currently plague the hotel.

It was my first 2 night stays in moroco and I was disappointed - the carpet and floor so dirty and the socks change to black color in 10 minutes! - small lobby and no sitting area except in the bar which the people are smoke and drink - the shower drain was blocked - the water in the shower was just hot the valve not moving, although I call the and they came and fix it but I already came late at 11 pm from long flight the last I need to wait for one hour to take a shower

This hotel is truly one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. The Sofitel chain typically represents luxury. I have stayed at numerous Sofitel hotels throughout the world, and never have I seen such a poor quality and serviced Sofitel. This hotel was the farthest thing from luxury. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Upon arrival we, we checked in and realized the room had a very bad moldy odor. We had the room changed to find out the same smell was present. And this is not a coincidence. I had reserved 3 rooms and all the rooms had a very bad smell. In my room there was dirty towels and a tub full of dirt and insects. All rooms had dirty stained carpets, very poor A/C with minimal air circulation, very dirty floors and very very poor lightening. Even after complaining about the towels, they had house keeping come remove them and never replaced them. Furthermore, the gym and swimming pool were out of service, completely unacceptable. I had asked to speak to hotel Manager on 4 different occasions. And NEVER ONCE did the hotel manager('s) get back to me. A gentlemen by the name of Adel was helpful enough to create a written report (for the managers to read) about all my concerns for the 3 different rooms, and still the managers didn't respond. Without any reservations, I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience in the many years of travelling. For anyone thinking of booking a room at this hotel, DO NOT!! Absolutely horrible, old and dirty hotel

The room was fine and any issues were resolved promptly. The best part of our stay was absolutely the staff!!! None better anywhere and in particular the Concierge Jawad was exceptional! He went above and beyond to arrange the most incredible personal guide for my husband and I for a day trip to Marrakech. The guide (Hassan) spoke perfect English and has an extensive education and background making a special cultural experience. Although we are no "shoppers" he 'protected' us enduring the few items we did purchase were at fair (local) prices. Also the hotel Hotel Concierge assistant personally ensured the correct train tickets were purchased and provided us a printed schedule for peace of mind in case we missed a train we'd know other options. Each morning in the restaurant we were greeted by Marouane who provided exceptional service with a smile and extras such elaborate pouring of traditional mint tea and introducing us to crepe like treats with nut butter. No better service anywhere! The staff also called the red taxi cars for us ensuring safe transport at better prices than other options. Thank you! Overall exceptional staff - this is why we would recommend this hotel to others.

If there was a rating lower than 1 star, I would award it to the Sofitel in Casablanca without hesitation. What was advertised as a luxurious experience quickly devolved into a maddening debacle. From the moment I entered my room, an overwhelming stench of mold greeted me, making it abundantly clear that the health of their guests is not on the priority list of this establishment. How they claim a 5-star status is beyond me, with air quality being noticeably better in the corridors than within the confines of the room. The hygiene standards throughout the hotel are appallingly low, both in individual rooms and the shared common spaces. Not to mention the bug infestation - another testament to the severe lack of attention to cleanliness and detail. But perhaps the most egregious offense was the management's lack of responsibility. The hotel manager actively and consistently dodged me for four consecutive days, showing a clear lack of respect and accountability to their guests. No attempts were made to address, let alone rectify, the slew of complaints I had. To label this establishment as '5-star' is a sheer travesty. It's a display of utter mismanagement and disregard for genuine hospitality standards. They can rest assured that I will never set foot in this disgrace of a hotel again and will caution others against doing so.

Having stayed at quite a few Sofitel properties in various countries we booked this one expecting the same standard of service and hospitality. Unfortunately we were left deeply disappointed. 1) The air-conditioning was not functioning in the 3 rooms we had booked. When we informed the front desk, the answer was it was a problem across all the rooms and not much they could do about it. Asked for a fan, sorry no fans available. When will they fix the problem, no idea. We stayed 2 nights and when we left the problem had not yet been fixed. 2)The lobby cafe is right next to the bar and on ladies night the extremely loud music and disorienting flashing lights made it impossible to enjoy our meal or have a conversation. Could we move to another restaurant on the premises? Sorry they are all closed for renovation. 3)Could not order a drink in the lobby because the staff at the bar were too busy and staff in the lobby could not get our order. Any apology from the staff on checking out? If course not! Definitely not a hotel that comes anywhere close to Sofitel standards.

We spent 2 nights in the Sofitel. The hotel and staff are great, very friendly. Rooms are great with very comfortable beds and nice showers. Restaurant food is excellent. We had great restaurant service the first night, October 23/23, and all was great. Our waitress was amazing and handled the entire restaurant with relative ease, and a couple of helping staff. On our second night stay on Nov 5/23, we had a very different experience in the restaurant. Service was basically non existent. 3 men serving in the restaurant. We were the only ones in the restaurant for 1.5 hrs and we had to continually ask for service. We did not want to leave the Hotel for dinner so we stayed, and when the restaurant filled up, the service became worse. I will say, that when our food did come out, it was as amazing as the last stay. Fantastic food.

The room furnishings were old and the bed was bumpy. The room had a strange smell, maybe because of high humidity. I stayed for one night (about 12 hours). The concierge (Hisham) and bartender (Zachary) were super nice and very helpful. I had to leave the hotel at 4 am for an early flight. The bellman picked my luggage (including my carry on bag with my Rolex watch in the zipper inside). I followed him down few minutes later and flew back home to the States. After arriving home, my watch was gone. My carry on bag did not leave my sight except for this 10-15 minutes the bellman had my bags. I am sure the watch was taken during that time. Very bad that I am thousands of miles away and cannot do much about this theft.

Excellent location, Great Views. Hotel was aesthetically nice. Rooms where ok along with bathrooms and spa facility. Had engineer attend to tell me AC was fine but it wasn’t, stayed in a humid room for two days with the poorest AC ever. Room sheets were clean but ceiling was disgusting with compiles dust all around edges. Bathroom shelves where broken. No towels in Spa. Buffet breakfast was lame.. extremely lame.. all baked goods where dry, no omelettes, poor selection of drinks.. Paid a lot of money for at best a 2/3 Star experience. Will not be back and. This location has definitely knocked Sofitel down in my eyes.

At first site reception area is BEAUTIFUL! QUITE WARM , I'll say cuz door keeps opening. My first room 2201 bed leaning to side & odor and feeling of live MOLD. 2nd room 1410 suppose to be upgrade and better view, what a laugh (NOT) , this room too reaks of MOLD, I PRAY I DONT GET SICK. MY HEAD HURTS AND CHEST FEEL HEAVY, ROOM is prepaid they wont refund, air in room just enough. pleasant attitudes amongst staff so far.. but this hotel is deadly, my chest hurts. I THINK I'M GOING to count this as lost and move to another hotel. I was so excited to visit this really makes me SAD

Top: - amazing guest service/concierge. They care about you and make everything for your wishes getting realized. Even last minute reservation in best restaurants/clubs. Special thanks to Mr. Abderrahim and Mr. Hicham! - location near the marina, train station - view from the room To improve: - change the Bose Sound system in the room for a new one you can connect via Bluetooth - at the gym I was missing a pull-up bar to train properly and I expect more light to come in since it was very dark in the fitness room at night. Note that some parts are under renovation (rooftop). As I understood Bar will also get a facelift this year. I can’t wait to see the results since I believe that the bar area could be cozier in my opinion. All in all great hotel with great staff.

The most beautiful view of the city and the mosque. The staff is always extremely helpful and nice. The lady at the reception, Mounia, displays amazing customer service skills and a beautiful smile making you really feel at home. All the concierge staff is always incredibly welcoming and the cleaningness of the rooms is outstanding. Best hotel I ever stayed in Casablanca, strongly recommended!

Despite the road works out the front, this Sofitel has been the best Sofitel I have stayed in during my travels through the Middle East and Africa so far. The check in was very quick despite it being very late at night. The room was huge - junior suite. The view from the room was amazing. The closeness to the train station made for an easy walk when coming in on the train from the airport. It was a quick walk to the Medina and United nations square where a tram could be caught to other places within Casablanca. The welcome gift - variety of Moroccan biscuits was also a nice surprise. The shower was massive. Lastly the bed very extremely comfortable.

The staff, especially those working in the restaurant for breakfast, are the best. They were really nice to our little kid and excellent overall service. What we liked less: - the room was not in a great state. Lights were loose and it was very difficult to get warm water. - we had some laundry done. I forgot some money in the laundry. Unfortunately the money was gone. It is of course very possible that the money was lost in the overall hamper. But still a bit disappointing that it was gone.

Our suite was old and dirty with stains in the carpet, cigarette burns in the couch, dust/dirt in several places and a funny smell. It's not just that the rooms need to be renovated, the whole place has a low level of cleanliness, e.g, fingerprints all over the elevator, doors. No coffee, cups or creamer in our room, had to aks for some. Service in the lobby bar was slow. We ordered a chicken caeser salad but got a shrimp case salad instead. Pool area was also dirty. I expect much much higher level of quality from Sofitel and was disappointed with every aspect of our stay.

I have been to many Sofitel chain hotels but nothing as horrible like this . The smell in the room was atrocious and cleanliness was a 0 for Sofitel standers. AC did not work with a temperature of 34 outside. Towels had yellow stains on them , the carpet was extremely dirty and the room had a horrible mild smell. The Kleenex box had the tissues stuffed in the box like it was used prior to our arrival. Overall, this Sofitel hotel was horrible and if there was a minus 10 rating I would of given this rating. I do NOT recommend anyone booking their stay here.

This place is terrible. First of all, I checked into my room and the sinks didn't work. They overflowed when used. The shower flooded the whole floor. There is dirt on the mirrors, and it is not clean. Im siting in my room now waiting for towels to be given to me. I have gone down to the front desk and asked them THREE times and they still have not given them to me. The service here is pathetic. Reception does not care about providing basic amenities. Everything is dirty. I will never stay here again. They can't even provide towels.

This hotel is not for tourist in my opinion. The hotel room had a horrible unidentifiable smell throughout. The room also smelled of stale smoke. The bed was lumpy, my husband and I felt like a third person was in the bed with us It was so lumpy. One highlight was the staff, they were warm and friendly. We let them know about the horrible smell in the room and they tried their best to clean the room again (didn’t help). We were overall extremely disappointed with the accommodations here and will not be back.

One of the decent places were you could stay in Casablanca, the rooms are bigger than most hotels at this price range and very nicely furnished ; the only thing I have noticed is the fact that they are not maintained in a proper way, a deeper cleaning should be done from time to time because you can see some dirt and dust in the corners also in different parts of the tiles in the bathroom

We stayed four nights at Sofitel. The room was very confortable and spatious. Breakfast buffet is excellent, including mostly excellent Moroccan food. Great omelet station and excellent coffee and tea. The first evening, there was no non-smoking area in the dining room but this has been corrected. It is also very close to the Casa Oasis train station that goes to Rabat and the airport. Plenty of taxis are waiting for the hotel guests. We will be back there when going back to Casa

I would not recommend staying here. Although the staff is very kind and prompt, I can’t overstate how disgusting our room was. Everything was covered in some sort of scum or dust. Felt like we had to wear sandals in the shower. All the furniture was old and worn and had stains on it. We could not get out of there fast enough. How this hotel has 5 stars is completely baffling.

Hotel is located next to Casa Port and a police station so area is quite safe. Service is good but rooms are a bit run down. The reception usually only had 1 person manning it so check-in and check- out takes time. Breakfast was nice but it needs more variety. They had 3 types of madeleines for example but limited variety in cereals.

It has taken a path for the worst. As I stayed with them before, I can't believe it's gotten this bad in just a couple of months. The room was covered in mold. You couldn't see it, but you could smell it, and since i'm allergic to this i had a severe reaction to this. After doubling up on antihistamine and changing rooms was I able to sleep. I think that it is a big miss nobody asked me how i was doing in the morning. Really shows a bit of an indifference

The room was spacious and comfortable. The view was stunning. I could almost see all of Casablanca. What I liked very much was the restaurant service.. all the waiters were friendly and hospitable especially Mr. Camara the Moroccan Senegalese he was special in taking care of us. All in all I will stay again and again.

I felt rushed in the check-in to do the security deposit (which was much more expensive than the whole stay). I got in the room and there was no coffee. I requested twice, only on the second time they brought the Nespresso capsules but not the espresso machine. They brought the machine later when I was out and with the "do not disturb" sign on.

Incredible experience. Top-notch services, clean and modern rooms with a view of the port. This is a luxury stay and the whole place reflects that. The only downside to it is that the staff at the front desk can take ages to check you in or in handling tasks.

Terrible room service. Hot shower not working properly and I tried to call guest service and housekeeping numerous time to get it fixed and nobody answered the phone. How would they even rate themselves 5 stars if they can’t do the basics. I also ordered a wine at the bar and they charged me a different price with the excuse of the price in the menu was outdated.

While the room decor seemed a little run down and in need of refurbishing, the great hospitality from the hotel staff made up for any of their shortcomings. Shoutout to concierge staff Wissal & Abduljalil for ensuring my wonderful stay and experience with Sofitel.

This has been my first time in Sofitel Casablanca and I have to say that I was positively surprised by the impeccable staff of the hotel, very professional and courteous. A special mention to the very smart waitress at the restaurant Hind who was exceptional in her recommendations for Moroccan dishes and made my experience memorable. As well, the chef made Lebanese/Moroccan dishes perfectly. You will not be sorry at all for choosing this hotel.

The room was super nice. The bathroom was especially spacious. The service was very strong and the concierge gave us a free night! One thing I will note is that the indoor pool is exaggerated in the pictures, and is really just a simple indoor pool. Overall, enjoyed the stay all will come back if I ever stay in Casablanca again.

The hotel is located at a good location with good view of the mosque. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are showing signs of aging and need refurbishment. Not what you expect at Sofitel with worn-out furniture and interior.

Only go here if you are okay with your credit card being scammed. I would give this place a 0 star, if it were possible. Zakaria at the front desk is the most miserable person I have ever met in my life and is ill suited to be working a front desk.

Great location for the hotel very close to the old city and the port train station. Everything about the hotel is excellent except for a couple things: the rooms are getting dated and the breakfast lacks more "hot" choices. But these are minor quibbles. I would stay here again on my next business trip.

A dynamic, young team for a great customer experience. There was a water problem when I arrived, and they fixed it during the night. Breakfast is nice too, meeting room accommodated the Digital Transformation Forum without a glitch. Kudos to Tour Blanche

Excellent location, excellent service and in hotel food was decent. Their breakfast was pretty great though! Rooms were subpar. The suites are spacious with an excellent view but the showers smelled moldy and things were broken.

We had a training in the hotel and our roll up has been stolen, the hotel staff told me that the camera caught who took it and I waited for it. After a while they returned back to me and said we don't know the person who took it. I will also escalate a complaint to accor management about the security breach in this hotel
