Horrible service. Paid R2200 for a Verso duplicate key of which the press button broke a fews days later. (it starts cracking on the edges of the press button within 3 days). These press buttons are suppose to last for a very very long time. The owner came back accusing my wife that someone was smashing so its not their problem. They claim to use a Toyota part but there was nothing on the the casing indicating that. It is very obvious that the inside was not aligned with the press buttons of the remote - therefore the central locking button stopped working on the 3rd day after receiving it... this boils down to poor workmanship. So basically I was supplied a faulthy product which stops working within the week and the company were taking no responsiblilty for their workmanship. The only solution offered were that I was to pay another R2200 for a new unit. Which is hilarious because that could mean that I am sitting, in the next week with 2 broken remotes, and R4400 later. I took the remote to my mechanic and he confirms its the remote is cheap Chinese made...definitely not from Toyota as was claimed. So there is a very good reason why their work is not guaranteed even for a few days.

Fixed one thing and broke another! I had my vehicle lock fixed but in the process, my remote battery was damaged. My intention was to have them program/repair my remote but, noticed that a new battery that I had installed, was broken at the terminals. On Enquiry, I was informed that the battery was already broken, which was untrue!! Repairing the battery was a simple enough process but the disingenuous manner in which the matter was handled, discouraged me from doing business with these folks again. I am without a doubt thankful for the services for which I duly paid but, am totally unhappy with the manner in which the issue of the battery was handled albeit, I was going to ask them to programme the remote ANYWAY!! Often, integrity supersedes skill!!!

I made my numberplates at a third of the price than they gave at strand key and lock at midas it was like R140 for both at midas .At strand key and lock we phone and both of the times they gave different prices for same numberplates difrence from midas was 600 rand...if you say you ask 120 a plate then the people that works for you scam the people and put the money in there own pockets because they ask 580 for 1...

The short coloured guy broke my key and wanted to charge me a ridiculous R1900 for a new key when all it required was a battery that costs less than R100. Clearly you're short of hearing as you're short, go back to your camera and audio and listen to what I asked you when I got in, I said it two times.

Took a receiver to them to get a remote. They would sell the remote but refused to program it. I then bought the remote from another place and programmed it myself in under a minute. Poor service and patronising attitude towards public.

Worst service I have ever had. No new customer deserves to stand in front of the counter and be outright ignored when you ask for assistance. Not seen anything like this. Read community groups, many similar experiences.

Had door lock repaired, night latch fitted on agreed date and time. Also had extra keys cut at store. Meticulously neat installation by Aubrey. Crisp, friendly service at store. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Got my numberplates done in record time. I paid and, in literally 3 minutes, the new plates were in my hands! Beware though that fitting is not a part of the service. Still, for R240, I got my new plates. Top work.

Any place that stipulates no refund on their slip even after 24 hours in the box unused raises questions! Will not be returning there. Product was returned unused in original packaging received when purchased .
