So I am a Veteran of 15 years of the Canadian Forces and I just moved to the Richmond area and I have been to this Subway several times now and the customer service is below adequate and in fact the staff is quite rude but I guess more in a robotic way which is odd for a small town. Being in Ottawa the nation's capital I asked if the do a Military and Vets discount on their food as the majority of Subway restaurants do across the NCR. This Subway said no we do not do discounts for Vets or serving members, I accepted this and left it at that. Today I bought subs for my kids for lunch and while standing in line I heard the server ask a customer if they were a construction worker, the man replied yes and the server said great you get a discount on your meal hahahaha I was literally taken back. I asked the server if her just offered a discount to a construction worker and he replied yes I did and asked if I was a construction worker and I said no I am not but I am a Veteran and you do not offer discounts to us or serving members and he said that is correct with a smug look on his face. So I will not only not be shopping at this Subway in Richmond anymore but I will not support any Subway ever again. If the owner or the manager of this store reads this you should be ashamed of yourself and your staff. I hope that any CAF member or Vet who sees this follows suit and does not shop or support Subway ever again. Subway your a gross.

Very disappointed with my veggie wrap. Had to ask for ‘extras’ multiple times. When someone orders a veggie wrap you expect a bit more veggies on the sandwich than those who order meat. This is the only location I’ve been to that doesn’t put a lot of veggies on the veggie wrap. Sorry, but will drive to Manotick next time. Update: went back to this location on June 15th to try them again. I ordered a chicken bacon salad with double meat. The portions are still disappointing and at every other location I’ve gone to the portions were a lot bigger. I’m so disappointed and hope the restaurant changes their approach. Will try again in another year.

Arrived here at 11:15pm as I was craving a sub, only to find that the Subway was closed for the night (and looked like it had been for some time). Both the website and the hours on the door say they are open until 12:00am. This is unacceptable for a major franchise. Either change your hours and update online accordingly, or you know, actually stay open during your stated business hours. I will consider updating my rating if management addresses this concern. Otherwise, beware - who knows when they are open or not. It really sucks when other options are miles away.

Updates store and menu. Very clean location. Nice staff and very good food for a subway. Best subway cookies I have had since I was a kid 30 years ago.

good place, friendly staff. My family watched as a disabled person pulled up out front he struggled walking into store. Staff member Georgia met customer at front door holding door and customer by the arm to assist into building. She seated him at closest table to door. He must be a regular she asked if he wanted the usual. She made his sandwich and brought it back to him and assisted customer all the way back to his vehicle. Great act of kindness. The world needs more people like Georgia!!

Overall great location. Jean is excellent - fast, professional, friendly. My only complaint is that the "Italian herbs and cheese bread" is mostly just "Italian herbs bread", compared to how it used to be. Not sure if this is corporate trying to save on ingredients or if it's at the franchise level, but I'd love to see more cheese on top of the bun.

Owner handled my sub into the shape of a hotdog then let me leave without a bag or napkins on top of all this they now expect to be tipped for this horrible service would rather drive an extra 15 minutes to stittsville and spend my money there

Just wanted to give a big shout out to one of your sandwich artists, Ryan. He has been so pleasant, a great chat and basically knows my order by heart. Subway has been my pregnancy craving and Ryan has some how almost always been the person to take my order. He is so polite and quick and always asks me how I’m feeling as my pregnancy has progressed. Excellent customer service and quality sandwiches each time

Temporary hours on the sign say that store closes at 7, showed up at 650pm looking for 2 subs. Pulled in and server turned off the open sign,then greeted us at the door and said sorry we are closed. Advised him there was still 10 mins to close and we would be quick, and the response we received was "sorry everything is shutdown. Highly disappointed and terrible service. Will never go there again!

Staff seem friendly enough. But not the most professional. Asked for a chopped salad. Had eyes rolled at me. ( They are slightly inconvienient) and then they refused to chop the salad. As its not against " covid policy " no other subway has refused this. Its a shame this is one of the only places in richmond for fast food.

best subway i have ever been to. amazing staff, great service and delicious food. big shoutout to the awesome girls who helped me, they were all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic about their job. definitely would recommend to a friend!

Going to this one is a gamble. Vegetables are often not fresh, this time the tomatoes were mush and the lettuce was limp. Todday was the first time they gave us stale bread and it tore as they made the sandwich. The staff was rushing and messy, even though there was no line and only one order.

Has been the go to place for my friends and I to grab food for the past few months. Amazing service and friendly staff, highly recommend!

Be careful when ordering online from here twice now I ordered extra meat and received only a single serving the first time I caught the mistake and the manager corrected it but this is seeming like a pattern. I won't be returning to this location.

Awesome place, generous portions Freindly staff. Subway has a system of order, YOU CAN'T PACK THE SUB UP OTHERWISE WON'T BE ABLE TO CLOSE IT BUT.......if you want extra you just simply and I'm sure they will gladly be able to help you out.

First time at Subway in a very very long time, good service, sad they no longer have the Egg Salad Sub, Staff member said its been like ten years since they have had that sub.

Very dissapointed. Unfriendly service. Limited to three topings only. Wont grill ciabata with any lettuce to avoid a fire. Wont accept nationwide coupons. Wouldnt recommend!

Subs were made great. Had a problem with the website freezing up when I ordered and ended up with two orders and two payments. Owner fixed the issue and made me whole.

Just got a sub here they are so cheap with the meat. He uses ice cream scoops and only puts 2 on the sub barely even covers a very thin layer won't go back

Every subway has different prices but this store owner is the most shameless, $12.75 for a six inch chicken tiryaki and a 200ml minute maid juice box.

The store is well clean, the customer service is very good and the food is delicious. I recommend this store to my friends and family.
