Conveniently placed on the near south side of Indianapolis.

Best Hardware store ever! Most helpful folks around. Simply the best for window and all Glass replacement. The best part is they have been there for close to 100 years! How many local shops do you know of who have made it through all the ups and downs over the last 100 years? The guys in here feel like family to me at this point! Garfield Park area, Old School Hardware Store, Very helpful, kind, & knowledgeable Owner, and employees. especially when it pertains to doing repairs on older homes. They repair storm windows and screens. Cut & thread pipe, sell grass seed, and the only place that I know of that ... if all's you need is one 2 inch screw you can buy that here instead of a whole box...but if you need more they have that too.

I'm building a Wrecker at Hoosier Pit Crew, and I've needed some things to get 'er done. And I've Gotten everything I've went there in need for, because they have it. I was looking to replace an old, old deadbolt set. Siding was recommended by an Eastsider store. When I showed an employee my broken deadbolt, he did not hesitate and went right to where the exact new deadbolt sets were hanging. I bought one to replace and one spare. When I paid, the employee counted out my change. That does not happen often.

I needed glass cut for a small cabinet door. The glass has a round arch at top. They cut it in 10 minutes and only pain $10.00!! Couldn't believe it was so inexpensive! Walking in took me instantly back to my childhood going to the hardware with my dad. Even the same smell of old time hardware! They have everything you would ever need!

My go to store. They have stuff that no one else carries and you can purchase just 1 screw or bolt or washer or whatever instead of having to buy an entire package. They've been around forever. Keys made. Windows repaired. And more. The last of old fashioned hardware stores.

Good ole timely hardware store: creeky floors, the unique smell, everyone works and runs the till. They know their stuff and work with quiet confidence and steady pace, greeting each customer and attending to his needs until satisfied. Prices are great. Try 'em sometime.

One of the oldest neighborhood hardware store still in existence for the Indianapolis area always try to go in there and pick up the small items but I need for home repairs for the convenience not having to go to The Big Box store Ferguson specialty Hardware

They always go out of their way to help customers. We went to another hardware store earlier and they were rude and not at all helpful so we went to Ridings hardware and got everything we needed. They never push higher prices items or things we don't need.

They are always my first choice for my needs. They treat all their customers well. I have gone in not knowing exactly what I need but they have always come up with a solution. Prices are veey reasonable especially when you consider the personal service.

Friendly atmosphere. I think they need a bigger space as it's a bit dirty and cluttered. However, the family atmosphere makes it so easy to shop. So far, I have only needed screws but I plan to look here for other items in the future.

Finally a REAR hardware store. These people know their stuff ! They will thread your pipe, cut glass, and give you good advices. And the prices are not any higher than in a large store. The cherry on the top ? They are nice.

Every time I go here they have what I need. This is a great little independent hardware store. Employees are always very helpful and courteous. It's also conveniently located right off of I65 exit to Raymond Street.

Always have what I need, and always friendly. This is where I buy all my hardware and glass and mirror. They also fix aluminum screens and storms. They have my card if you need any wood repairs or custom wood work.

Fast, efficient, been around forever. They'll cut glass to whatever size you want. Also, black pipe, galvanized pipe. They'll help you figure it out if you need that.

They are definitely great people, Ray and crew have always been top notch, I have been going there since I was a young boy with my father, place holds many memories!

Who cares if it has an old odor of time....I didn't notice..Sudings has helped me lots of times ..you can get things there you could never find anywhere else...

They have just about everything you need for little projects around the house. The custom glass cutting is really handy for older windows that need a new pane.
