I love shopping at T.J. Maxx. As others have stated, this is a very nice, clean store. In the past few weeks I've bought everything from men's designer jeans ($15 - what a bargain), to men's sandals to trucker caps to candles and even a meat thermometer from this store. All of it at very reasonable prices. For the most part, items on the racks are in the right section according to sizes. This store can get quite busy and on my last visit it was difficult to get my cart down some of the aisles due to the number of shoppers. No biggie. People must really like shopping here for the store to stay so busy. The one thing that irked me a little, on my last visit the dressing rooms were closed due to a staffing shortage. I do understand that many businesses across the board are having staffing issues, it just kind of stinks that I couldn't try on a couple of things before buying. Fortunately everything fit and looked nice when I got home. I'm not going to drop this review down a star due to something related to a staffing shortage in these difficult times. I'll also add that I've only ever had friendly cashiers upon checking out. So, if you're on a budget but still like nice things, then this T.J Maxx might be the store for you. Give them a try!

Nothing but shoplifters!!!. The company needs to protect their employees and customers with new policies and or new procedures. These thieves are using store shopping cart as a weapon. They load the shopping carts with merchandise and as customers are walking into the store these thieves push the shopping cart into the customers as they attempt to exit the store with the stolen merchandise... I noticed what they were doing and after several attempts I decided to stopped them by standing in front of them and saying "don't even think about it"!!.. I also said if you're not embarrassed to steal then you're not embarrassed for me to take photos of you and post them all over Facebook.... I told the staff since you can't do anything about it I will... These people think that they're entitled to take whatever they want while others have to pay.. Nobody is holding them accountable and they know it!!!! I told them I would be waiting outside for them.... which I did... Good News!! They decided to leave the shopping cart and merchandise inside the store.

I am very disappointed with this tj maxx. This is usually my favorite tj maxx in the whole ABQ but today was extremely disgusting! It was a busy day which is fine for me. I was walking in the cosmetics aisle and one for the tj maxx employees purposely and forcefully ran themselves into my right arm! Idk why and if she said I’m sorry or it was accident I would have been ok with that but she just walked off. I notified the store manager but she did not care. I went on shopping, trying to brush it off but that same employee came up to me again and just stared at me up and down. I was so confused, maybe she thought I was someone else but at this moment I was so uncomfortable and scared I started crying and my bf tried to comfort me and said to just leave which we did. He tried to talk to the store manager again but she brushed us off once again. We will not be going back to this tj maxx in a long time! Super sad and disappointed!

I love shopping at TjMaxx but this location always disappoints me. Every time I am there I feel like the employees are following me like I am doing something wrong or appear to be stealing. I’ve gone into this location several times because I love TjMaxx but I can’t shop comfortable when I feel like I’m being profiled and followed around as I shop. I’ve noticed employees following me and one seemed to be almost chasing me as I went to walk out. I’ve never stolen anything in my life and it just upsets me that this has been my experience almost every shopping trip. Also, I don’t think the cashiers are very welcoming/friendly, they seem bugged helping you check out, which I get everyone has their days.

Love TJ Maxx but the customer service at this location is horrible. Won’t be going there anymore. I’d rather drive across town. I understand social distancing, wearing a mask, and all of the changes in today’s world. But it is not ok to single out one person for not standing in “the red square” (I didn’t know I was suppose to or would have). Security yelled at me in front of everyone and EVERY single other person paying was not even close to this red square and he didn’t say a word to them. Even after I was still polite and didn’t want to cause a scene. If you’re going to hold someone to a rule, hold it to everyone.

Alot of variety and styles, getting new shipments of different things often. Although they are good at stocking up in plus sizes I normally wear size XS and they only had a few shirts in my size, none that I really liked or that fit my style. I couldn't find any jeans in a size 2 other than one pair (not ripped for school uniform). The dress selection was amazing though. Many that were my style/size, but my sister had a few problems, including her style of jumpsuit not fitting (she wears size large) and some ran small of they didn't have the right sizes (only medium or smalls) for what she liked.

My first time at this TJ Maxx and I’m impressed! The store was tidy and organized, with many employees ready to help with any need. I didn’t go in with any particular item in mind but ended up walking out with many dog treats! I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were half the price that I had previously bought them for at a different store. My check out experience was speedy and the cashier who helped me was kind and courteous. I enjoyed my shopping experience here and am looking forward to coming back to see what deals I’ll be able to find!

This is the only TJMaxx I like to shop at. I do not like the others. I like the layout of this one. i always find stuff and I want and need here. I come here often. I like it. I wish they had some men's shoes for my boyfriend, they are lacking in men's section. Overall, I like this one and it is usually clean and the layout is appealing. The only thing that might be dirty is the food section with the honey. It usually gets cleaned up. I like the variety of items here. The other TJMaxx is very limited and it is not worth going. This one is best.

This store always seems empty. Not very much to choose from in the major shopping areas I look to buy from which are usually Women’s Shoes, handbags, and home decor/ kitchen items. They have like 5 pieces of furniture. That section could be a little corner in the back. Also I don’t see much inventory for dishes and canisters etc. Same stuff every time I go in there, it’s spaced out to make it seem like there’s a lot of merch but there’s really nothing new and not much to choose from, kinda sad considering the area.

It's a small store, but you can find variety and good prices, especially on luggage and travel accessories. Some days you can find more things, but other days the stuff is gone. Depends on your luck. The staff is very nice, there's plenty of parking right in front of the store. My only complaint so far is that the price tags sometimes cover the product information, the staff there should pay more attention to that. But overall it's a good place, it's not crowded and I like shopping there.

Was shopping with my nephew and overheard what I assume was a manager talking to their employees like they’re gods gift to retail. I think his name was Jenna? Anyways, I immediately put my bagged chalk candy and a grass scented candle back because he was so rude to their staff. Jenna, if you’re reading this honey, it’s ok to take some time off to get your mind right, you sell frying pans and sheets for 13.99

I had called to make a complaint (nicely) about how I felt uncomfortable at the store because a couple employees seemed to be exactly where I was checking on me because I had a full cart. Talked to a manager and she left me on hold mid sentence while I was talking and practically hung up on me before I could say something to end the call. Will not shop here again.

I do really like TJ Maxx, but the last two times I’ve shopped there, they’ve allowed families/customers to enter the store without face masks. Even though there is a sign on the door stating that they are mandatory. The employee at the front just looks at them and let’s them in. Oh well. Find a safer place to stop until they crack down, I guess.

What happened to the Men's Department? It's a complete mess and there is only casual and athletic gear. 3 dress shirts on hangers. All while. Looking for a blue dress shirt but there was NONE. No selection. Lots of housewares and women's shoes and clothes. Sounds like yet another retailer NOT catering or caring about the guys.

I want to hate t.j Maxx but I always find the best stuff here. Since they've moved to this new location, things are arranged better and it's easier to find anything you're looking for and of course all those things you're not looking for. The staff is actually really friendly and it's always an enjoyable experience.

This location is aimed more toward women and kids. The men's section is very limited as is the selection. I didn't see any men's shoes at all. The prices at this location leave something to be desired, but you can still find decent deals. The store itself was clean and we'll organized.

I didn’t realize their hours changed and I almost went in right before closing. The worker lady was standing at the door and rudely shooed me and my friend away and cussed at us. She could have just said they were closing. There was no reason to act like that.

I love TJ Maxx! I wish the store at Winrock/Louisiana has more selections like the one in Montgomery. I am closer to Winrock so I have been shopping there most of the time since it opened but I would rather go to Montgomery. The staffs are always nice.

Incredibly rude older woman staff lead as cashier. Talked down to us when we asked a simple question and hurried me through the paying process while I was typing in my phone number. We are nice to staff I'm not sure why she treated us like that.

They don't close at the times listed in google! Additional they always close there doors 30mins before there closing time. They say they close at 9 and have the door close for no addition customers to walk in the door 30 min before!!!

First visit during covid-19 and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was compliant with the mask wearing, store was very clean and well stocked. All the employees were kind and in good moods, just a pleasant experience all around.

I always find the best bargains! I got an awesome candle, some bathroom fragrance spray, a stainless steel colander & a silverware drawer organizer, plus a few other items for less than $50. You can't beat that! Yay!

Nice and clean clothes and accessories for a cheap cost. Brands like champion Nike and countless others are here at discounted prices. Overall a good way to get clothes that may be a little more expensive elsewhere

Annoyed being followed around by staff like I was going to steal something...killing time before my flight and this is not what I go into tj maxx for. Btw I still purchased toys despite their rude behavior.

Not a big shopper here normally but everything i was looking at was kinda over priced. (Costco has 2 of the same items cheaper) This store was also really small compared to three other on in Albuquerque.

Stopped in to browse and ending up finding some good items at a great price. Just wish their cashiers would take a little extra care to fold the clothing instead of just throwing them in a bag …

TJ Maxx is great place to find something you may need at a good price. I just like to go look around and you never know what you may find. Could be a gift a shirt a pot or some cool glasses. Lol

Love this place but rude employees! Apparently I messed up some pillows! Every time I moved them to see witch ones I wanted, the guy would come and fix them! He did this three times! Wierd!

A smaller TJMaxx with fewer racks. They have nice fitting rooms and my fave are kitchen stuff that are very attractive. Would always end up checking out at the counter with a lot of stuff.

The wife and I had a wonderful time shopping at this store. It seems like every aisle we went down we encountered something different and something new. Way to go TJ Maxx.

My husband says 6 stars if I could. I had the Katsu (chicken) curry, it was the best I have had. Husband had Ramen and said it was amazing. Will be coming back.

Honestly their fall clothing and decor rarely misses, but side note a large group of people just walked in and stole stuff today... may wanna.. get security...

They should update their their store hours on the website. Disappointed they were closed when website at this location says they’re open till 10pm.

I found a lot of amazing feminine products here for low prices, even a squishmellow once, it’s a great location. I hope they bring in more clothes

Good place to shop. It's not always well-organized, tagged correctly, or clean. The discounts can be great and they always have a lot of options.

It's small, but it had Innesfree, The Saem, & Nature Republic skin care products. I found 2 pair of Lucky pants that fit. So I bought them.

I was looking for a new comforter set and they did not have much of a variety. The line was extremely long. But the store was nice looking.

Had everything I needed for gift giving. Awesome prices and a lot to choose from. Would recommend for a quick shop and dash experience.
