"A true little gem that I am glad we found"
Amazing atmosphere. Very comfortable sits and nice customer service. The cocktails are the reason why it's not 5* - not me or my partner finished the drink Also we didn't know that you have to book the place to come and play bowling & receptionist was telling us that we can't come just like that from the street(because we have to book in advance as it's very busy), but after few "please" she allowed us to enter - the place was completely empty, and the staff was more than excited to see at least us as a customers Overall experience was good and would probably recommend to friends
It was good. Despite the booking, some people were kind of placed at our table and it was like, huh? What’s the point of booking??? Went with a friend and it was an amazing time. She won first but I miraculously won the second time, considering how terrible I am at bowling. Ambience and aesthetics were good. Music was good. Love when the pins are restored and they glow in the dark (see vid). Explored the rest of the building and the terrace was just breathtaking. Beautiful views!
I came with my daughter as part of my birthday outing which I’d combined with afternoon tea at Ham Yard Hotel. I initially thought £25 pp for 1 hour was a little steep but it really was worth every penny. We had such fun, the environment was beautiful and staff were super helpful and friendly and they even brought me a mini birthday cake surprise with candle to our table. Such a hidden gem, would 100% recommend and would love to come again.
This place was indeed a great place to go for a fun time bowling. It was small and personal, which made for a fun time. However, considering we paid £50 for just an hours bowling, the staff were so so rude even though we were giving them ridiculously priced custom. Not a single smile, and two of the staff members even huffed at me. They have no right to look down on people like that. Would not recommend there at all.
A true little gem that I am glad we found. It did take a while to find as there is no signage from outside, it is in the basement of the hotel. The hotel also looks a lot fancier than my family and that nearly put us off but I am glad we gave it a go as it is a superb venue with only 4 lanes, a private bar and a crocodile on the wall!! The staff were all very friendly. Would definitely go back.
Really nice bowling alley, it only has 4 lanes but the atmosphere and interior decor is very nice. Quite expensive at £20 per person per hour per lane. You cant have the side barriers up unless it's a child throwing the ball...which we were disappointed with as would have liked them up. Their rationale was that the barriers were too fragile for adults...! Overall I would recommend
It is located inside the Ham Yard hotel without a very visible sign outside so can be confusing. BUT it is a very stylish place to go bowling! Ambience was swish, staffs were incredible, price wasn't crazy too. The only downside is the price for drinks is a bit crazy, one bottle of small heineken for >£7 is a bit much. But all things considered, would really keen to go back soon!
I had an amazing time at the Croc, it was a hidden gem in one of the most popular parts of London. The food and drinks were great for the occasion and the staff were very helpful and friendly. If you're looking for a more upscale bowling experience, this is the place to go. I will be visiting agian and I would recommend highly.
Nice, clean and well maintained tables. Plenty of televisions in the house. Good selection at the bar. Natural light coming into the place. Plenty of parking. Good selection of food right outside. Lots and lots of players. And the most important for me when it comes to pool halls, a welcoming and friendly environment.
Came here for a company holiday party. Had a great time overall. Food was good, a party-style buffet. Decent drinks. Very friendly and attentive staff. Really enjoyed the bowling. Nice aesthetic overall. Can’t comment on the value for money aspect of the venue but as for other considerations, it’s a great spot.
Located in the basement of The Ham Yard Hotel and offering bowling karaoke and cocktail bar. It as a good place for a night out with colleagues and friends wishing to test their bowling and karaoke skills. We had a presentation here and the sound was hard to understand or the speaker was not legible enough.
An intimate aesthetic bowling alley! I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday evening here last week. It was quiet in the bowling alley and bar and the staff where extremely attentive. The cocktails were of a high standard and I look forward to returning for either bowling and drinks or just drinks.
Nice place, in a swanky area and great bowling. Cheap to bowl. However, When it came time to leave and pick up bill I felt like I got my pants pulled down when paying for drinks which were so overpriced. Pain nearly £40 for 3 double Jack and cokes! Massive let down!
This place is a hidden gem. Lovely ambience and the customer service was really good. They are usually very busy on weekends and would recommend booking in advance. Would definitely recommend if you have kids who love bowling. Price: 25£ pp per hour.
Had an amazing time at the bowling alley thanks to our wonderful host Jaques. He was so inviting, polite and reassuring for those new to bowling. Would very much recommend this spot thanks to the establishment but especially the host.
Really great bowling alley, only 4 lanes so very intimate and decently priced too. Staff are lovely, place is clean (a few bowling balls were a little greasy but I can let that go) - would 100% go again!
Really chic bowling alley. They have four alleys so booking a slot before coming is recommended. Wasn't able to try out the food although had a sneak peek of the sliders and they looked fantastic.
A hidden gem in London! Great bowling alley with a 1950s feeling, even the bowling shoes are vintage design. Doesn't get too noisy and messy. Perfect for a date night or even a group of friends.
Lovely bowling alley with four sections right in the centre of London (near Piccadilly). It's very reasonable for £20 an hour, lovely ambience and the hotel in itself is also picturesque.
Nice little bowling alley for corporate and other events inside the Ham Yard Hotel in SOHO. Good choice of drinks availability for premium price.
Holy £££! Paid 140 for an hour of bowling with the gf, 2 cocktails, 2 cokes, and an appetizer! I get it’s London but it’s certainly not the Ritz!
Brilliant venue with even better staff ! Great time had by all. Food was delicious and drinks were fantastic. Will definitely be back ! 5*
Great venue, vibe, service and cleanliness all top notch. Great venue for a private function with interesting styling and art work!
Terrible atmosphere. Music was low, staff showed 0 emotions and your lanes needs fixing. Also balls were all to small to hold
Great fun for our office group of 14, and the bar finger food was very good indeed. (And I came fourth....)
Such a brilliant night. Staff were ace. Bowling alley is SO nice and reasonable price. Food was ok too!
Amazing location. Such a hidden gem. Very cool decor. Nice cocktails. Couldn't ask for more really.
Had so much fun at the bowling alley and most importantly the interiors are exquisite
Gorgeous friendly staff, great fun for the family! Amazing find just off Piccadilly.
Lovely atmosphere for a party, I'm not a bowling afficionado but enjoyed it.
They only have two lanes. It should be the entertaining within the hotel.
Small but perfectly formed bowling alley in a hotel! Lots of fun!
A bit pricy but really enjoyed it and the cocktails were amazing.
Venue excellant for parties. Food drinks service all are good too
It's a nice bowling alley with 4 lanes. Drinks are pricey.
So much fun! Large space, cheap drinks, great for groups
The most beautiful, luxe bowling alley. Loved it.
Nice setting for bowling & great cocktails!
Good deals on Monday. Super friendly staff
