Had to yell to get the bartender’s attention to get my girlfriend a drink after both of them looked our way several times while polishing glasses. We were trying to finish our last drinks as the bartenders old blonde lady and old blue hair lady yanked my girlfriends drink away from her and complained I finished my beer before I get could yank it away. All in all I get you (staff) want to go home but we paid for our drinks we should be allowed to finish it. I should of asked for my receipt back to not give such a generous tip. If I come through again I will get my money back by not tipping such terrible staff. I guess Covid killed or pushed the awesome staff they had before away. They are lucky they are in a prime location or else they wouldn’t exist.

Good pricing, great selection of beer. Kind of bummer that they don't sell any food, no appetizers nothing. It's a smallish place. Indoors can accommodate may be 25 people. Don't expect to have any decent conversation, you have to be screaming at the top of the voice to be heard. Patio is nice and can accommodate another 25 people. But the weather has to cooperate. I am going there but myself, I will give it another shot. But with a group, look for somewhere else with more room. Parking is very limited. Be prepared to park on the street. This was at 7pm on a Tuesday. I can only imagine how bad the parking can get in a weekend. I wish there was a 3.5 star rating which is what this place deserves. Not exactly a 4 star.
Renee is absolutely incredible!! Each time I’ve been in she was not simply managing a crowded bar by herself, she was doing so with grace, patience, and kindness. This is a cozy neighborhood bar that has become a favorite for those working in the local restaurant industry. Definitely a place to meet new and interesting people on any given night. Fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere. But if you ask me.. the greatest selling point is absolutely Renee! The Railyard just wouldn’t be the same without her!

Used to be my favorite bar in the neighborhood. A couple bartenders will ruin your time - seriously. Not a big fan of most of the music that gets played there. There are other places around - but if you live in the area they are not a bad place to grab a drink. Most of the staff is generally great, I tend to prefer the male bartenders than the females for some odd reason. The patio is great if you have a dog and want to grab a drink, not many places like that around. They are also open late which is a plus.
Sitting in the Target parking lot my husband and I found ourselves in desperate need of a drink. I searched for nearby bar without even taking neighborhood in to account. The Railyard offered a relaxing outdoor area. Inside was a bit too loud for my taste but they had a basketball arcade game, skeeball, and a couple other machines for the having of fun. The bar tender was nice and took great care of us. This place isn't as fancy as it's fancy pants neighborhood and I suggest you give it a go.
Laid back atmosphere and patio seating for 50+ people outside plus max occupancy for 84 people inside. Bartender lady is stretched thin this evening. We wait 20 minutes to order, then another 30 minutes to pay. We never were able to pay. She told us to continue waiting, but that required undue stress on our patience and nerves. But the listing of beers is exhaustive. I'm still glad I'm here with friends because we're outside late at night.
I Love This Bar they have a little bit of everything. The bartender is very nice and holds great conversations. They have a decent amount of TV's so you can catch any sporting event and even a patio area for the smokers in your party. They have a small assortment of arcade machines that include Pac-Man basketball skee ball and a pinball machine. So if you're in the area you should definitely check out this small and quaint bar.
This is your classic local bar. It has that 'come-as-you-are' vibe, decent beer, cheap prices, and friendly staff. The decor is not cheesy, and has a hometown bar feel. They have a cool patio, it isn't too busy to get a beer, and they have plenty of seating. I recommend this place for hanging out with a group of friends when you want to relax without all the hustle and bustle.
Modern "Dive bar". I was staying at the Sola apartments for a few days and stopped in here on a Friday night. There was a good crowd giving the place a nice vibe, but not over crowded. They have games there which I definitely took advantage of. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to frequent this spot but its worth a visit if you're in the area.
Fun little bar with a good sized patio and a few cool arcade games. Get in line for the 4 player pac-man. Worth it. MTV Classic is playing on the TV, which pleases the older millennial in me. Kind of wish the indoor restaurant-style tables and chairs were comfy couches instead. Although, this would be a fun place to hold a board gaming meetup.
A neighborhood local bar. We stopped in as a large group after the restaurant next door closed. We were made to feel welcome and continued our celebration. A good choice of spirits (whiskey) and cocktails.

Nice bar that's low key. the beer list is great and there are a lot of hard liquor options. Parking is not that bad and the out door seating is pretty nice. be ready to hear the train though which you should know due to the name of the bar. I definitely will go again and it seems this bar has it's regulars.
Service is good no matter how busy. The patrons, however, are not welcoming or interested in being kind to anyone who's not part of their group. Judgmental bar so don't go if you don't know anyone. Boring af solo.

I really enjoyed it here. It has a Whisky bar feel to it. I truly enjoyed the patio with friends. We ordered food and had some great cocktails. My Manhattan was perfectly blended, they have good Whisky selection. I'll enjoy hanging out there again.

Best neighborhood bar in the Galleria area. Plenty of patio space, and I appreciate that they show hockey games on TV (along with your favorite Houston teams of course). Expect to have conversations with strangers. My wife and I made new friends on our first visit. Excellent casual bar
Beers are quite reasonable and the atmosphere is both inviting and fun. Very much has a hole in the wall vibe, so it's not going to be everyone's first choice - But if you're looking for a laid back vibe with arcade games and friendly service, Railyard would be a great choice.
This is a cozy bar. It is loud but comfortable. It is a small bar, but they have a ton of different whiskies. They have a decent selection of canned beers. They also have a few on tap. The bartender was attentive so I could get drinks through all the noise inside. More
Love this spot! It’s a down-to-earth, neighborhood dive bar with a good selection of liquors and beer. Great place to watch games with friends. They also have skeeball and other activities for those of us that like to keep our hands busy when we’re socializing.
Very chill spot. Great setup for the neighborhood. Tight parking, but most people don’t drive there so there’s enough at night. I miss the old saloon, but these folks are doing a fine job.

Came to this hidden bar the other day and it was super fun. They have games for everyone to enjoy, their music is diverse and they have a full bar. The environment is chill. The place is a decent size and there is plenty of room to sit inside and outside.
Perfect dive bar experience. Great for a low key or a late night after party. Buck hunter, pinball and skeeball along with low priced beer and liquor keep this neighborhood classic as a late night staple in the Galleria/Greenway Plaza area.
Blonde bar tender started out rude on new years eve when my group was passing through. Declined our entire group any beverage because one of our guests did not have ID. I understand TBAC rules but this woman was out of line. Made me feel
So so so happy that the railyard survived COVID and is now back open and still super awesome. Im very Thankful they kept the big buck hunter game! Love that thing and all the cool folks I've been missing since the railyard shut down.
The owner of the Railyard is a great human being, and the Railyard is a great bar. Closest thing to the bar from Cheers in Houston. We really enjoyed the Georgie's Paper Crane. It's a well-balanced drink with excellent presentation.
Perfect for what it is. A nice and secluded hole in the wall to drink with friends. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the place always has a crowd. Lots of fun bar games to play with your friends. They have a nice patio as well.
Nice unassuming little bar with a good selection of whiskeys. Friendly bartender who makes a memorable margarita and good conversation. Definitely one of those local spots worth hanging out and having a couple drinks after work.
The bartenders are fantastic and atmosphere is amazing, if you are industry and you haven't been there then you are missing out. Xander, Warren and Brittany are fantastic, if you go in treat them with the respect they are due.
Friendly and engaged staff. Several bourbon and scotch options behind the bar. Skee-ball, basketball, and some arcade hunting games. Large enclosed patio, several seats around the bar, and a few tables inside.
Great bar, very chill, friendly people.

Great spot with tasty beverages, chill atmosphere, great staff. Good little get away right on the rail line. Old school arcade games, and plenty of TV's to catch any sports you wanna catch.

Spectacular bar with no business having a whiskey/whiskey collection this good! First time in Houston checking it out... Will definitely be back. Laid back vibe, good people, love it.
Great selection of Whisky & local Beer, pretty chill place, no food but well served Drinks, it’s definitely a decent Dive bar that you know only the locals know about. SALUD! …
Great little bar in a really accessible location. Solid drink specials and some rotating beers on tap. There's some arcade games in the back and a patio (no heaters). Nice spot.
Good selection of beers, nice variety of liquor and just cool place. Bartender wasn't the most skilled at mixed drinks. And the bar back was average. For no food it was solid.
This place is dirty and gross and the bartenders are rude. Try using cleaning products. The draft beer tastes like feet.

Manager is very rude and condescending to customers. The waiters aren’t any better and the drinks tasted like I was at a frat house. Would give 0 stars if I could.
I paid $25 for 1 margarita, never again. In response to the company’s response, I had a bottom shelf margarita. Not any kind of top shelf or expensive tequila.
Great local local place in a neighborhood of high-end venture capital, bar and grilles. Love the place so much I made the special trip. Dog loved it also.
Love this place! Good people, affordable drinks, and awesome waitstaff! Ps they have screwball (peanut butter whiskey) you’ve gotta try!
Good selection of craft beers, top end whiskeys, and good tequila. Great bartending and service. Fun games to play with friends.
Fine bar but again like everywhere inside the air con makes places so cold. Hot outside to boltic inside!!! Spoils everywhere
Fun bar with basketball hoop available inside for a dollar. Parking on site and it was not crowded at all when I visited.
