I would rate a 0 star if I could. My experience with them cause me to cancel the contract the day they were scheduled to come start painting. I met with Randy, and he was very responsive and quick to provide quotes, able to make it to my site quickly and was very sweet. It just seems he doesn't know how to quote a job properly or properly inform his team. The day they were suppose to start painting, Randy came to site to confirm the quote was good - he had come to the site 3 weeks earlier for a walkthrough and provided an acceptable quote - and with no changed, everthing was good to start and his painters were on the way. He left and his painters arrived and this is when the problems started. We walked through the house and went through the quote and suddenly everything was extra charges. The existing paint was too dark so it would be extra paint they didn't quote for. The popcorn ceiling I had quoted to make smooth would need much more work than they had quoted, extra layers of mudding. If I didn't want damaged floors I would need to pay for floor protection. None of this was discussed prior and I said nothing "new" needed to be added or clarifyied with the new guy. I wasn't unreasonable saying if there was changes we could talk about it more, send me the revised quote (assuming maybe a few hundred extra). Then the painters left saying they weren't going to start that day, that they were starting tomorrow instead. I had taken the morning off work to make sure they were set up to go which was now wasted. Later that day they provided me a quote of an additional $1200 before even starting (about 18% increase), using my schedule to pressure me into paying. In the breakout of costs they would adjust the amounts in a way that was confusing (adding extra closet in one quote and removing it the next) and sending me a quote that they recalled because they couldn't stand by it after I signed it. I'm not sure what is going on with them but keep your guard up. As a young woman I felt like they were trying to take advantage and sneak in little extra costs by putting me in a situation where I would have to pay because I might not know better. They say you can "pay at the end of the job" but be wary that they might add extra costs and hit you with a bigger bill later. I felt like I had to watch every detail of the quote and list everything out or it would be an extra charge. The whole situation did not sit well with me which is why I canceled. I dont know if this was a one-off situation but I would not recommend. As a Professional Interior Designer, I would not use them in the future. They were reccomended to me and I wanted to try them out before suggesting them for other jobs I am working on. They had every opportunity to treat me well for the potential to work together in the future and I was extremely dissapointed with how I was treated. Added after the owner response: I would expect all the qualified people to be available to review the site to provide accurate quotes or request to be on site prior to the start of the job. The owner was on site twice and it was surprising the extra charges came up. The painters over-booked and could not start painting on the agreed upon day. After the new quote was provided was a 17% increase from the origional quote - so I marked it up and sent it back. They revised it for a less amount and I agreed, but then got an email they could not actually do it for that price. I did tell the owner I was surprised and dissapointed with the increased quote and the way I was treated. I disagree that I was aggressive, I was being to the point and know what I wanted as a customer and a designer. I do not appreciate being called aggressive and my review was factual, even noting that it may have been an off day. The review was not based on the work (as they didnt do any work for me) - it was based soleh on thier customer experience, contract negotiation, and accuracy in quoting. The response below is just further example of how I was treated.

Two years ago my husbands and I had the unfortunate experience of hiring The Repaint Specialist for a project, and the outcome was nothing short of a disappointment (please ref. to pictures). We have a 1940's home and we had hired them to repaint our kitchen, including the cupboards, and the results were far from satisfactory. At the beginning, the communication with the company was great, Randy showed up and we discussed the project and our expectations - shortly after a painter was in our home painting. Once the work began, it became apparent that the painter lacked the attention to detail and professionalism that one would expect from a reputable company. The first round of painting left visible streaks, uneven coverage, and paint spills on surfaces that should have been protected. Paint chips within the complete project, areas not sanded or painted, the list could go on. Despite expressing my concerns, the company did little to address the issues immediately, leaving me with a poorly executed paint job that I had paid a significant amount for. Fast forward to two years later, Randy did somewhat acknowledge their previous shortcomings, he offered to rectify the situation - the second round of interactions proved to be even more frustrating. Scheduled appointments for the "fix" were repeatedly no showed for or postponed. Attempts to communicate these issues were met with indifference and unresponsiveness. It became evident that The Repaint Specialist fell short not only in their craftsmanship but also in their customer service, failing to address concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner. I could go on with more details but my experience has been one of frustration, disappointment, and regret. I cannot recommend this company to others seeking a reliable and professional painting service. It is my hope that others can learn from my experience and choose a painting company that values both the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers. I am actively working towards receiving the reimbursement as well as putting my complaint forward to The Better Business Bureau. EDIT: Response to Owner's reply: I would like to clarify a few points for accuracy. Firstly, the job was scheduled for rectification more than twice, all documented. However, on all occasions, the appointments were either not honoured or postponed with short or no notice. Secondly, it's important to note that the decision to seek a refund and cancel the job came 2 years after the lack of attention to detail and professionalism during the first round of painting, this along with 2 years of back and forth without a successful repaint prompted me to take alternative steps. Regarding the issue of stated "no show," I would like to clarify that there was no attempt to avoid the unscheduled appointments. We were unaware, as these attempts came after canceling the job. Which again, is documented. I understand that it can be challenging to manage every customer's expectations, and I appreciate your prompt response today however, as I stated previously, we are no longer seeking completion of the job. My primary goal is to offer information so others seeking this service can make informed decisions. Transparency is key, and while my experience was challenging, it contributes to a balanced perspective.

I needed the complete interior of my house repainted after years of abuse by tenants. I am moving back into the house myself, no more renting out to tenants. The walls had a lot of dents, scratches, scrapes, several holes, etc. that needed repair, prior to painting. I searched for 3 competitive quotes for this job and The Repaint Specialists were in the ballpark with the other quotes as far as price , but there were several value-add items included in the quote which really raised this quote above the others I received. The price also included a 2 year written warranty. When the painter (Will) arrived, he got straight to work. Very friendly and personable guy with a meticulous attention to detail, like myself. Randy also visited to ensure things were going smoothly. He really exceeded my expectations because, in all honesty, I have never had such a good and satisfying experience with a contractor in my over 35 years of home ownership (I guess that sounds a bit over the top, but its the truth). Will repaired every little defect in all walls, he worked quickly but the job was a pretty big job for just one guy I thought. Will under-promised and over-delivered. The Repaint Specialists are very fortunate to have him on their team. Will helped me decide on paint colours that would work on each level of the home. There were 4 colours in total and all of them were applied with perfection and flawlessly. There was also a feature wall around the fireplace, and the colour worked very well with the flow of the room. I consider myself sort of a perfectionist (given my career) but Will found things that needed attention that even I missed. In the end, The Repaint Specialists delivered an excellent and very complete job as in their estimate. The home interior looks 200% better. I highly recommend this company if you need any part of your home repainted. They will most definitely be the company I will turn to again for additional paint jobs if I need them. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I can not provide a good review for this company. Randy was pretty quick to collect payment of 20k for our interior home paint job last May when we had numerous concerns. The first crew had to return to fix a lot of problems, and then the next crew fixed the wall paint drips and nails sticking out of all door frames. Sanding/drywall mud marks are very visibly seen under the paint all over the home. The second crew did a little better with our kitchen cabinets, but we were never given any leftover paint or paint details. Only 2 large empty plastic 5 gallon pails with gloves and paper towels discarded inside them and the one empty paint can in the kitchen had its label painted over top of it in white paint so we could not identify it. We have noticed that our white kitchen paint stains very easily, and we had to do touch-ups as coffee or any juice will discolor the paint within seconds. We also have visible stain marks coming through our white painted sliding door as a sign of the wrong product used. 1 yr later, and we have yet to get the paint brand details after several requests, and we are rehiring another painter to fix up the door and other areas of concern. The house was left a mess with no floor coverings used during all the drywall work and main painting, which left our groat filled with dust and a huge mess to clean up. The only tidy crew was the kitchen painters that made sure to listen to our requests and section the area off and cover the flooring. We have many pictures of the above. Do not waste your hard earned money on this company. *In reply: Randy was contacted directly via phone conversation and texts over this concern. After no professionalism in terms of warranty and care, I have decided to post.

I had this company paint my kitchen cabinets at the end of April 2021, just this week it has been finished (February 2022) to a quality that is acceptable, so 9 months later. The first crew that did the cabinets was Klaudio and his family, finished in 3 days and it looked terrible, my cabinets were oak and the grain was not filled in by the paint, so they came back and put multiple coats of paint on in the span of 3 hours. The paint just cracked and chipped off as it dried (I have included pictures). I complained multiple times to Randy and the same guys kept coming and adding silicone and paint, just making it worse each time. They did not have a clue what they were doing, or how to fix it. Finally they refused to come and Randy suggested the only way to fix them may to strip them and start from scratch. Randy had Mike come to remove the doors, strip and refinish them. Mike did it as a favour to Randy, not really having the amount of time commit to the huge job that it was, so it took months for him to finish. I must say they do look good now, so I will give Randy credit for standing up to the quality of his product and having someone knowledgeable come and fix them, however, perhaps he needs to hire competent contractors in the first place. Mike did go above and beyond and even came and fixed other deficiencies left by the original crew. Had Mike done the kitchen to begin with, I'm sure it would look much better than it does. Because of the amount of paint put on them originally, they had a difficult time stripping it off and gouged a few of them when scraping them. First 4 pictures are of the doors as they progressed through the year, last is of a door now and how it should have looked 9 months ago.

I wish I could give out negative stars here. This was the absolute WORST company I have ever talked to in my life. It took 4 weeks more than what was promised, scraps, nicks, bubbles… I can’t even begin to describe the poor quality. And talking to the owner and his wife? Oh my god… I’ve never met more rude and disrespectful people in my life. They claimed my husband threatened the owner when he was talking to him about how poor of a job was done and how unhappy he was… just because he was in the military? It’s a joke! The wife was so rude and disrespectful to my husband I was actually sick. I would never let these people touch your home. What scumbags, absolute scumbags. ** in response to the owner** We had brand new cabinets, they were absolutely not in rough shape. We OFFERED to pay a deposit and you refused it because that’s not how you “do business,” we also asked you to produce this contract that we apparently signed and you have no produced it, we showed you the marks and bleeding on the cabinets and you said “people don’t normally complain about this stuff”. The painters were friendly and Lynn did her best, but there were problems and they were clearly over worked and working on too many other jobs at once. The issues we have land on YOU as the owner for not taking responsibility and standing by your word, the word you gave my husband. You also said you would come clean up the paint on the floor and you have not. Do not try and spin this as we are not trying to pay, we are happy to pay for services rendered but you also have to hold up your end of the deal, which you did not.

My wife and I were looking for a company to paint our house exterior, The house is a rather large two story that we are very particular about. I got in contact with Randy and he scheduled an appointment to come and see the house the next day. We had a great conversation and I was familiar with some of the houses he had done in the west end.(And his experience) Randy had his quote out to me the next day. We had three quotes, Randy's was the most detailed and my wife and I just had the best feeling about his company so we went with him. Randy's team showed up exactly when he said they would, pressure washed the exterior, came and did some minor fix ups (pounded in some nails and sanded down some rough area's etc) I wanted to ensure we had an exact match of the stain before he started as this was very important to my wife, Randy's foreman came out did a small sample size for us to see and it was an exact match. From there things moved very quickly, his team showed up and went to work. In three days they had the entire house done, they masked all the windows, siding etc. cleaned up each and every night and were very accommodating even if it meant they had to remask certain areas so we could get out of the garage . I could go on for a while about what a great experience it was, but all you really need to know, is this is a reliable company that honours its quotes and does great work. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks. Sorry for the late review it has been a busy summer.

Very happy with The Repaint Specialists. Randy came to give me a quote for staining all my fences, my (very weathered) deck, my front porch and some trim on my house and garage. Sure, we could do it ourselves, but I knew we didn't want to go out to get all the tools and materials and then spend multiple weeknights and weekends to do the work ourselves, only to have to clean up and store all the equipment/rollers/etc. when done. Once I gave the go ahead, Randy had Zed and his crew here the very next day and got it all done in a whirlwind day and a half. At first I was super nervous by the fast speed at which they worked, but it was clear they had done this many times and knew what they were doing. They prepped and sanded and stained very efficiently, including moving furniture and planters out of the area to do the work, and then they put everything back properly. They were tidy as they worked and cleaned up the area completely. They spent the whole day here and worked steadily. I was impressed with their efficiency. Now everything looks fresh and new again, and I didn't have to spend all my free time and money shopping for tools, materials and stain, prepping, sanding and staining, cleaning up and storing everything. I would definitely hire them again in the future!

We repainted our cabinets May 2023. We talked to several different companies but decided to go with repaint specialists due to promised quality even though I had received cheaper quotes. We started out okay but when the actual painting started everything went down hill. Painter would show up late, have young daughter doing work. I had to call painter at 9:30 pm to pick up their daughter so I could go to bed. It went down hill from there. We had to get a hotel room because they wanted to work through the night. After talking to the Owner Randy he said he’d make it right because it was a terrible job. After sending another more professional painter we were happy. Until a few months later. When the paint peeling off. It took MONTHS AND MONTHS of constantly reminding Randy that this was happening. He would schedule someone to come look and then they would not show up. After almost 6 months we had to get 17 cabinet doors repainted. I was told they would be completely sanded down and redone. That is not what happened. I can see where they just repainted over places the paint peeled. But whatever, at least it wasn’t bare wood. I could live with it. Now a couple months later the peeling is starting again. What a waste of 6500$ dollars.

I badly needed a painter to work on ugly spot paints my husband created on our walls to paint over holes from removed curtain rods but the paint he used didn't match our wall. I have contacted several paint companies, either they are booked up or I have to provide quote online and didn't get a reply. I called The Repaint Specialists Inc. and I spoke to Randy. He accommodated my request and the next day, their paint specialists came by to our house and was able to get the exact color match paint on our wall and repainted our 2 walls ( part of our dining and living room walls). They did awesome job in repainting my walls. All the positive reviews here are true which I relied on when I did my search looking for a professional painter. I highly recommend them and they deserve my five stars. Their price is fair. Anywhere is expensive right now nothing is cheap but as long as the work is done properly and I could be happier. Randy was quick to respond and get me a quote. I had all my walls, trim, doors and ceilings repainted in a 1800sqf two story home prior to us moving in. We also had 2 bathroom vanities painted. We are very happy with the results and really appreciated the 2yr warranty. I also appreciate that Randy came to inspect the painting and assured us that after we move in he will make sure any missed spots will be corrected and if the movers cause any issue he will have those touched up too. After the painting was completed we had the carpets replaced which caused damage to our freshly painted trim & walls. I chose The Repaint Specialists based on the many good reviews from Google. Dealing with Randy was very pleasant and professional. He gave me the best quote out of three that I received. His crew, Izair and Artem were very professional and the job was completed sooner than expected despite a family emergency. They were able to get some extra help right away. They are very efficient. I am very pleased with the work that was done by them. After painting the house, I called Randy to ask if Izair and Artem could come back and paint my front door on short notice.They were so accommodating. I would definitely recommend this company.

The gentlemen showed up at our door, Covid appropriate. They walked around the house with me to see what colors we wanted walls and trim to be painted. Picked up the paint and got to it. They cleaned up after themselves really well. They left us the bits leftover paint, which will come in handy if we require touch ups later on. We are really pleased with the outcome and and the professionalism of the workers. We have already had compliments on our transformation from a peach house to a white and grey house. Thank you!

From start to finish it was a great experience with The Repaint Specialists. I requested an online quote & received a quick, thorough quote based on what I had provided. Very happy with choosing these guys and the painting of our stucko. They did two coats and did it very well. No paint streaks or overlapping of any kind on our window trim and all 3 sides look amazing. They were $500 more than another quote I got but chose this company based on years of service and reviews. We had our new build painted by different contractor and unfortunately they left us in a mess. Two coats was more like 1/2 a coat. Casing was sprayed but filling that wasn’t sanded or filled properly. Caulking was missed or poorly done. Randy and his crew came in and did an excellent job fixing the mess that the other contractor left us with. Very responsive, professional and the crew did a great job. Thanks for getting us back to where we should have been weeks ago.

From start to finish this company is superb. From my initial discussion with Randy, quote sent to me so quickly, setting up a date that was perfect for our schedule. Our painter showed up on time, so professional and the work was done better than we anticipated as we had some complicated walls to do and done in a very timely manner. I booked an appointment to have a room in my house painted and wallpaper removed. When nobody showed up at the scheduled time that was arranged I contacted Randy. Randy responded saying that he thought the appointment was the following day. After I explained that I took the day off specially for this project to be completed he didn't even respond. What a waste of my time. Will be booking with another company that shows up when they schedule an appointment!!

Randy and Franco were very professional and nice to work with. They did all the exterior trim and exterior cedar that needed painting. There were a couple of wood frames that needed extra prep before painting. They did a fantastic job, a very strong attention to detail which is important when doing trim work. We love our new kitchen! What a transformation! The Repaint Specialists made our old, dated kitchen cabinets look brand new again, resulting in a brighter, cleaner-looking kitchen. The whole process, from Randy's initial visit through to the completion of the project, went smoothly. They did a very good job for us. Idriss (our on site painter) was very thorough and did very good work...he cared about what he was doing for us, and offered great advice on some additional services we were considering. Randy was easy to work with, and when we did add some additional scope, we were able to agree on a fair and reasonable price very easily. We will use Repaint Specialists again.

I got three quotes and Repaint Specialist was the best price and they gave great customer services. I wasn't on a wait list for months and they kept my yard clean. Great service. I had booked with one of those student painters the previous year where they took my deposit and never did the work. We hired Randy and his team to repaint our 1950’s, plaster, smoke filled home. They did an absolutely excellent job! Hired Repaint Specialists for our kitchen cabinetry as well as our living room ceiling. They had the job done within a week. Some small issues with the paint on surrounding walls peeling from the masking tape, but otherwise we are extremely happy with the work done! Thanks guys!

Id messed up an exterior siding paint job and extensive blistering had occurred. Norman was able to sand down, clean up and repaint the entire problem area so youd never know I was a total incompetent. The quality was top notch and the price was incredibly reasonable.

Got a quote right away from Randy. Amanda and Mike did an amazing job on a complete repaint of a condo to ready it for sale. Painting included all walls and trim including some vaulted ceilings. Fast and professional, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

DO NOT HIRE THEM! They sent a written quote for a job after viewing the home. Then Randy visited last minute tried to change everything about the quote - making more money for himself. He tried to take advantage of retired people! The company is bad.
