I decided to give my bathroom a facelift with a new paint job and quartz countertop, after installed the drain assembly wasn't lining up and the old faucet didn't fit the single hole cut out. I realized I needed some help finishing the job so I contacted The Urban Plumber - I spoke to Allan over the phone and he was able to make some suggestions in regards to what brands I should consider. I found something in my budget and shortly after he was able to accommodate me for installation. Richard was actually the plumber who came over to do the work, everything was done tidy and perfectly as I was hoping it would be. I'm very particular and was not disappointed. I will definitely be using The Urban Plumber for all my plumbing concerns going forward - I have to mention, it was great that even though my job was on a smaller scale, Allan was available and patiently answered all of my questions until I was ready to proceed - Allan was also able to help me on a second occasion with a revamped utility space in my basement. He plumbed in the spare toilet, laundry, and slop sink. The guys were done within a few hours. I was billed fairly and very happy with my experience using the Urban Plumber again. Thank you so much!

I called Allan to do the second phase of an install, and we discussed the scope of work to do the bathroom and finalize the kitchen plumbing. Because I was moving in the next week he verified the team would be there around 11:12 p.m. for 4 to 5 hours of work. Upon arrival they pretended they didn't know anything and sat around for an hour looking very confused knowing they were on the clock grabbed their tools and left, Alan finally called me to level set saying they were picking up their parts and coming back within 10 minutes I got a text from him stating they would not be returning and telling me the job that I required to get done would take well over a full day. Luckily I had a second contact that came over and did the work that we required within 4 hours. Allen retracted his commitments in a time of need, and frankly his guys stand around on the clock adding up the hours and taking their time to go buy material which further increase cost. Totally unreliable and I would never refer anyone to this plumbing company. Everybody has a bad day but the fact that he decided to text me instead of having a conversation was totally unprofessional

Would not recommend! The plumber that came took one glance at my toilet - a dual flush Kohler, not some unusual import - and said that he's never seen two fill valves and that we should just replace it. When I said I wasn't interested in having him replace it, he fiddled around with it, didn't fix it, and then offered to replace a part at a quote much higher than what the owner had told me on the phone. I no longer felt I could trust this company and luckily did not go ahead with the repair he suggested. I called the manufacturer instead and they sent me a 5 minute YouTube tutorial that allowed me to fix the toilet myself. Pretty crazy that an experienced plumber wouldn't have known to try the very basic fix the manufacturer suggested (rinsing the fill valve) or at least research a toilet they aren't familiar with before suggesting to replace it or trying to fix it. I had to pay even though they couldn't fix the toilet so this was an expensive lesson in calling the manufacturer first!

I am very satisfied with the exemplary service provided by The Urban Plumber. I had a slow leak from the temperature adjustment dial in my shower/bath. I initially spoke with Allan from The Urban Plumber and he clearly and concisely explained what parts I would require in order to eliminate the leak. Once I obtained the parts he arranged for an appointment with his team. Richard and Ryan from The Urban Plumber were professional, prompt and courteous. In addition, the charge for the repair was reasonable. I highly recommend The Urban Plumber and would definitely utilize its services for any future plumbing issues.

We was really flexible, even offering to come after regular business hours to check out the problem. We were given a quote by Mr. Rooter for 3x more than the final price of what it cost to fix the minor issue we were having with our shower. Richard (the plumber who saved the day) was great. The team at Urban Plumber was great. I need help repairing my shower because the water wasn't as hot as it used to be. Most plumbers I contacted couldn't identify the cartridge that needed to be replaced. When I contacted Allan, he pointed me in the right direction about which plumbing supplier to ask about the cartridge. The supplier knew exactly what it was. Then Allan's team (Richard and Ramon) repaired my shower with the part. They were on time, quick, professional, and the shower has worked great ever since.

I have used Urban Plumber twice so far. The first time for our outside water pipe that burst in the Spring and recently for a plugged toilet. They are incredibly responsive and professional. The toilet was an emergency call at night and he came within an hour of my call. I was very worried he would wake up my kids, but he was in and out quickly and quietly. I highly recommend them!

I had a slow leak under my kitchen sink, a valve was failing. Allan was able to take care of my plumbing concern in a timely manner. In good practice I agreed to have all the valves changed. We called this company for several jobs now. We got their information from the internet and took a chance. They fixed the hot water tank superbly, repaired our large basement pipe, did our kitchen sink that started to leak and now our bathroom vanities. They picked the taps and vanities for us and they look beautiful. We are extremely happy with them. Very professional.

I strongly DO NOT recommend this plumbing company. First, I was over-billed for 1.5 hours. This is an utterly dishonest business that had the audacity to imply that I the customer was lying when I questioned the time I was billed. After continuously arguing with the owner for a refund, he agreed to send a cheque to me, a cheque that DID NOT come. A terrible experience!!

I've used The Urban Plumber several times on my rental property. Allan and his team have been excellent to deal with and always pleasant and professional. Very responsive which in itself is huge and is half the battle with trades. They are also on time and very reasonable on costs. Flat out fantastic experience with these guys. I had three key jobs to get through as we move forward with a full kitchen reno. They arrived, looked over the job, and gave me an estimate. Picked up parts and got straight to work. I'll be calling on them again when the cabinetry is installed to finish up the sink, dishwasher, etc.

Richard and Ryan from Allan's team came by to replace the toilet flange and leaky drain connection and re-integrate them back into the existing lines. The guys were polite and respectful and great to chat with. Repairs were executed cleanly from the ceiling below, and toilet was re-installed and now working flawlessly.

We have used The Urban Plumber for many years. They always provide great service. Any reviews that you see here from Yujin Ahn or Adam Dahan are fraudulent. They did damage to a property I manage and went after our plumber posting 'revenge reviews' . trying to damage his business.
