Got tagged by the machine to write a review of a grocery store. . Well, what the heck! If it weren’t for this store the Monticello/Crestwood/7th Street area would be a near food desert. Ok, there is a wonderful Natural Grocer across the street but I can’t call them “full service”. This Tom Thumb is designed for the significant apartment dwellers very near by. For them I think it would be perfect. For me, a retired recent arrival to Fort Worth, it is a great place to shop for most of what I need. Selections are somewhat limited from a “normal” T’Thumb mainly due to space considerations and their likely clientele. Very decent wine selection, solid bakery and butcher. Due to CoVid shutdowns it took me 18 months to notice the wine and ale bar between the now open ubiquitous Starbucks and the short order cooking and sushi area! Great! You can even sip while you shop! (Although I took a seat on my first visit to the “bar”.) The store is immaculate. The staff are very friendly. It’s a great store with the hip vibe of the West 7th Street community

I like Tom Thumb, and this location did not disappoint. The store layout was well-organized and easy to navigate. The aisles were clearly labeled, which made it simple to find the items I needed. The store was spacious, allowing for comfortable shopping-cart movement and browsing. Tom Thumb offered a wide range of fresh produce and meats, specialty and international items, and a variety of organic health products. While this store did have competitive prices on many items, some products were more expensive compared to other stores. (However, the sales and promotions they offer alleviate this issue.) The staff at Tom Thumb were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The checkout process was efficient, and the cashiers were courteous and professional. The store Director had a bit of used-car salesman "sliminess," but my overall impression of the Tom Thumb family was very positive. I would recommend Tom Thumb to anyone looking for a well-organized supermarket with a decent range of products and friendly service.

Can’t believe this place has 4.5 star reviews. I’ve never had good customer service here. My most recent visit, there was absolutely no one in the store. 11:45 am on a Tuesday and I could not for the life of me find someone to help me checkout. One register open and no one at guest services. There was a person there on her phone with earbuds in and when I asked her to help me, she said she couldn’t because she was off the clock. She called over the intercom for someone else to come help and nobody came. As I looked around, there were multiple employees standing around reading magazines or chatting. Why is it so difficult to get stamps here. Every register only has one book of stamps and the employees never know how to ring them up. You have to go to guest services every time to get more than one book and they give you attitude for asking for help. I really hope they replace this Tom Thumb with an H-E-B.

I came here during the holidays to purchase a gift card for my brother in law. The gift card ($250) was sold to me by Corey the store manager. Upon him trying to utilize the gift card it reportedly had a balance of $10. When I alerted the store of the issue, they told me to bring all my info in along with the gift card. I repeated this process three separate times as Corey, the store manager lost my info. This personal info had details on it that should not be in public eye, including card information and other personal numbers. The response I got from him and from the district manager is Tom Thumb is not liable for this, and it took a miracle to even converse with them in the first place. I have attempted to call, and speak with them with little to no help. Tom Thumb took $250 from me, during the Holidays and this issue has yet to be resolved.

I would stay away from this location. It is not safe. Me and a buddy had 2 Segway scooters stolen outside this Tom Thumb within 10 minutes of going inside for 2 items. After talking with the manager, they informed me they knew the likely suspects who stole the scooters, because they had been coming around and were not suppose to be there. Also, they would not allow us to view the security footage without a police officer present. So, after calling 911, they informed me it would be 6 to 8 hours before an officer would be available, which is absolutely crazy. Unsafe location with no police protection, so I would not recommend going to this Tom Thumb

I NEVER write reviews!! Unfortunately this is the nearest cheapest pharmacy that is near me. That being said, the pharmacy is the slowest I have ever had to deal with. One of the girls there is probably the most rude professional, and they allow her to answer the phone. Younger girl. Can't imagine how many others can relate. Half the time they try not to fill my prescription till I get there. So I can go shopping for "20 mins" Awful!! Do not use if you don't have to!

If I could give 10 stars for the store manager Richard I would!. I bought some feta cheese that was expired and it ended up ruining my meal plans for the day. I was upset and my boyfriend called the store and Richard was so kind helpful and apologetic. He represents Tom Thumb so well and because of him I will keep shopping here! Richard is a great asset to Tom Thumb and is oh so amazing! Tom Thumb is lucky to have an employee like Richard!

I want to dedicate this entire review to Kim at the bakery! I really hope she sees this!!! Kim helped give me and my husband the *exact* cake we wanted and UNDER BUDGET! The cake from Tom Thumb was the only part of the wedding process that easy and under budget. Kim was so helpful getting my order right and it was ready to go when I came to pick it up! On top of that, the red velvet was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! Thank you thank you thank you!

OMG, definitely one of the best Tom Thumbs in Fort Worth. Clean and well stocked. Nice, polite, and helpful wokers. The produce area was great and they sell the most beautiful flowers there. There's a Starbucks, an actual bar inside and a eatery with a patio area outside to enjoy your food and drinks! The restrooms were clean. Cashiers were ready and available as well as several self check outs. Very pleasant experience!!

This location has the freshest fruits and flowers but beware if you use the Fresh Pass Delivery option they may not check the fruit, always out of stock on items, and if they use a third party delivery service like Uber you tip in advance and the driver just wants your groceries out of his or her car, bring your own cart, and don't expect them to help you carry them even tho you already tipped them.

Love this location. My first time there a few days ago and this location is very clean and friendly. I needed last minute assistance in the floral department at 8am-ish, which who has floral emergencies last minute haha, but I did. Nancy the Cashier and the Store Director Richard Gordon were so very kind in helping me gather what I needed and with my purchase. I still thank them so very much!

It's a good grocery store for when you need a little more than a few things, but it doesn't carry everything for that. You need to go to Kroger's. I can't tell you what it doesn't carry. I can just tell you it hasn't carried a few items on a few occasions that I was looking for and had to drive elsewhere but the environment's good. The place is clean, easy to navigate, no complaints.

I was pretty surprised with the amount of positive reviews on here, given that I find the food to be quite overpriced for what I get. Yesterday I bought a large container of strawberries and half of them were rotten. I also bought a salad seafood that was prepackaged and there was hardly two slices of ‘seafood’ in it. Seems like a lot of price gouging going on here

I love to shop at Tom Thumb cuz their products are always fresh and customer service is also very great. I love their flower department, always carry beautiful flowers. Today I tried the poke bowl from their sushi bar and it’s so delicious and fresh. I usually don’t do sushi at the supermarket so it surprised me. Definitely will try other sushi options next time.

The deli is Huge disappointment !!!? Not enough fresh fried chicken because they had a big order . Could not have made some more for the customers ?? Never have any cold fried chicken in the cold case . The other Tom thumbs have left over cold fried chicken in the cold section, why can’t they?? The staff really seemed like they could care less!!

Dianne is an awesome help every time I go!! I am constantly seeking her assistance, making sure my coupons go through, which I'm sure is a pain for her, but she doesn't make me feel like I'm bothering her or am a burden. I went here for the Grand Opening. It's within walking distance of my office and everything was great. They have a real bar with beer and wine for consumption on the premises, a Starbucks, a pizza baker, a sandwich shop, and beer and wine to go, not to mention a full service grocery with butcher and pharmacy.

Everyone that works in this store location is amazing. I received so much help, everyone is polite and patient the customer service just rocks. The store was very clean tidy and neat I was able to find all of my grocery items with ease and the checkout was painless and smooth. Keep up the excellent work!!!!

Love tom thumb i just wish they had a bigger custom cake selection to order for birthdays because I love there icing. Ended up having to order from Kroger instead. This location has a great ready meal selection and the fruit trays are absolutely amazing such a wide variety selection and fresh.

If your idea of time we’ll spent is waiting 10 minutes for an employee to show up at the meat counter (even after calling the store), then by all means, this is the place for you. This has happened to me more often than not in the last few months and it’s very disappointing and frustrating.

Cordial & accomodating as Ive come to expect fron Tom Thumb stores across the board! Thank you for appreciating the customer! This store also has family friendly & Sensory friendly restrooms. As well as electric vehicle parking spaces and facilities to recharge your electric vehicles.

Great store. I use the advanced purchase and do my orders online and pick it up. Once I pull up and put in my slot number they come to my vehicle majority of the time in 5 minutes. Inside is pretty convenient as well. They are nice and polite. I definitely recommend this store.

Tom Thumb is well stocked with impressive selections. They even have numerous truffles at their deli counter. The only drawback is their prices are higher than other locations. I suppose the reason behind this is the area it's in. Otherwise I would highly recommend it.

The nicest Tom Thumb I've ever been to. There is a deli with tons of fresh food. I was really tripping when I saw a bar with drinks next to the Starbucks. The selection and variety is endless in here. Service was great staff is always friendly so great job.

Great location, good prices and very convenient Starbucks inside. Customer service is excellent. The place is very clean as well, close to restaurants and other stores just in case you need to run for more that one errand at a time. I love this location!!!!

Their produce selection is always very disappointing and the staff doesn’t particularly provide stellar service. Prices seem a bit high considering the poor quality of some of the food (i.e. the produce) and the overall lack of a positive experience.

Really liked this grocery store! Stopped by while staying the night nearby for some late dinner. was impressed with the overall cleanliness, aesthetic, and everything else. Plus, the beer section and some great choices!

Customer service is ok at this location, but associates don't really say hello or ask if you need help finding anything unless you ask. I don't go here for the service just the weekly TomThumb4U deals from time to time.

The staff here are so friendly and actually care about their customers. Every interaction I have had has been overwhelmingly positive. Prices are on the more expensive side for groceries, but I am happy to shop here.

Props to the employees here! They have to deal with a lot. I was here earlier, and I saw a crazy lady yelling at one of the employees over a cart. The manager handled the situation perfectly!

Grocer that has not only Starbucks but also a beer and wine bar. Plus more than chicken dinners for a quick pickup meal. Burgers, pho and fresh made sushi. This store has it all!

Its really disheartening to be told your groceries aren't worth it by a cashier and then asked if you want to put things back. Guess I've got to go back to self check out.

We go there because they have a good selection of affordable cheese. Usually end up purchasing a few other things as well like cashews and dark chocolate!

Tom Thumb has one of the best bakery's of the supermarket bracket. The produce is always fresh here too.
