I frequent Nashville alot, I always go the back way to avoid traffic and to have a more peaceful ride. Last week I said I'm going to stop here versus,my regular store on the way back to Clarksville. This is NOW my store for all and I mean ALL SHOPPING NEEDS! I was so impressed by the meat departments, they have 10 pound boxes of meat, I haven't seen that since I was a teenager! The isles are neat, produce is awesome too! The staff is friendly and helpful!! Tony,you have my business for life! I will no longer shop at the "chain stores". The cashier told me if there are items I need to put in a request and he will make it happen. They also have their own seasoning blend that they make in house. They also have a fully stocked meat department I can't say enough about the meat department it's very rare nowadays to find the quality of meat that they carry. For my understanding with speaking to a cashier they cut their own meat they package their own meat which is very rare nowadays. Oh and for you beer lovers they have a beer cave of a variety of every kind of beer you could think of! The other thing I really like is the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed nobody's pushing or shoving to get what they need in the store doesn't matter fact when I went into the store it was less than 20 people I was able to get in and out without feeling like someone was going to hit my ankles with a shopping cart. They also have a hot deli area I didn't visit it on this trip but I plan on making your trip today and I'll visit it to see what all items they have if you're shopping at other stores you're definitely missing out try Tony's you will definitely be happier.

Terrific experience and great personal service while I was there. Definitely a little pricier than the bigger chainstores on some items but in line with other stores on bonus/sale options and worth it to actually be able to ask a question and not have the people run from you like the experience of so many larger stores; the owner himself may even be in the store and help you out I've seen. Come to find out he also helps out a lot of the area citizens through sponsorships and donations to local churches and other community groups and organizations, so I personally don't mind paying a bit more for that plus the added convenience to my house. Butcher shop on hand with freshly cut meats (to your liking as you watch if you prefer) and great meat sales monthly. I recommend the "Giant 10lb Meat Sale" if you have a family and need to stock up the freezer!

I shop at Tony's at least twice a week. This is not a big store, and if you want something high-end with all the snob food--this is not the place for you. Their selection is not as big as a large grocery store. But let me tell you, they have great prices and the best meat selection and value I have seen. They have excellent specials and lots of extras like a small deli that prepares really good food for carryout. And the thing that I like the very best--that will always keep me coming back--is how friendly and helpful that everyone is--consistently. The young people who work there are so polite and helpful. I love this place!!

If you're looking for a small town grocery store were you'll be treated like family and greeted with a smile and southern hospitality then look no farther. Tony's Foodland has been a landmark of the town of Joelton for ages and whether you've lived there 50 yrs or passing through you'll be treated the same. Tony's carries a large selection of meat and often as a 10lb sale. Fresh Vegetables that make you think you picked them out of the garden yourself and if there's something that he doesn't carry that you want, he will see if he can get it. That's service with a smile. You can only get that in a small town.

I went in to pick up lettuce and wound up spending 48 bucks because they had such great sales going on and also when I got to check out the young lady the young lady that was checking me out was so nice and then another young lady came up and started helping me empty my buggy and then helped me out to my car I just was so blown away by their kindness and their hospitality I live in Nashville I was there in jolton for a reason but it makes me want to drive back there to go to this store and shop because of their Their staff and everyone is so amazing go by there you won't be disappointed

This place is fantastic for shopping and customer service. I have one comment and it is on the cooked food. I had to discard the food to the trash and buy somewhere else. It tasted like old can food. And I know what I'm talking about, because my palate has a good taste for food, and don't judge me judge your food . No pictures I threw it out. This is not saying anything against the store or people just your choice of where the food is prepared from.

The meat section is great, the prices are good, the employees polite and helpful, .....but.... the produce is blah. Bought mushrooms one day. The next day went to open package and ALL of them were slimy already. Was going to grab a box of "pearl red onions", one of the onions was all moldy. Bell peppers already starting to wrinkle. Thinking maybe y'all need to change your produce vendor or purchasing manager.

Tony's Foodland is a compact yet complete, full-service grocery store and I just love them. I often get prepared food from the Deli. The tuna salad and the pea salad are my faves. I find brands and varieties of canned food that no other stores bother to carry. Meat! The choices are great and so are the prices. Parking is convenient and easy. You should shop there, if you don't already!

Nice store. Throwback to grocery stores two decades ago. Look for sales, some stuff you can find cheaper at Publix or Kroger. I go here to pick up meats mostly. There is a bin in back filled with meat that has been discounted. You can find steaks or roasts for a great price. Great place to pick up something if you live out this way and you're on your way home.

Prices are a little high sometimes, but that's how local grocers have to do it to compete. That being said, they have a solid coupon system and good sales. Given its size it has a great selection of all things. I can get in and out of here in 10 minutes flat which saves me the aches and pains of Wal-Mart lines with their 3 cashier standards.

The prices are to high and the meat starts to turn brown way before the date stamped on it. I've been charged taxes on the Sunday Tennessean Paper on 4 different occasions. I've had to return meat that had hair in it and garlic bread that had thick green mold on the bottom of it. I like his bread but that's the only product that I like.

Pretty much my favorite store to get Meats at. I love how they cut them and are always so friendly. If you need help finding something, they do it on the spot. If they don't have something and you need it. They will try to get it in for you or accommodate and try to find something else that is similar for you. Just a Grand place!!!

A great place to shop friendly and helpful some thing cost a little more than like if you were at Walmart but for how close it is to me and the quality service it's well worth it. Not to mention fresh meat daily and a 10 lb meat sale every month which is great on saving money and for large families or even a family cookout!

I love this little store. Its only 15 minutes from home and they have just about anything you need. Country bacon and ham is very good and meats are excellent and reasonably priced. Sometimes the produce lacks a bit but it's ok. Bakery is good. Nice pies. Good farm fresh eggs too. Appreciate y'all! Glad to have ya!

Tony's has a great 10 lbs. meat sale, and not to mention their deli has an awesome breakfast and meat and three lunches. It's a little expensive on their grocery items, but most of the time you find bargain prices on certain items. I would have given 5 stars if the prices were a little more reasonable.

Cousin Tony: Just wanted to leave a comment about how nice and pleasant Deborah is as a cashier. Having to work on a holiday morning, sometimes brings out the worst in folks but she was polite, cheerful, made eye contact, conversed and of course, was smiling. Great job Deborah and congrats Tony.

It's nice to go in the grocery store, get what you need, and be able to check out in a timely manner! Nice job Tony's Foodland! It's also nice to have a grocery store, that still has employees who will bag your items for you. I guess you could say, it's all good in the smaller Neighborhood.

Friendly staff, good if not great prices on most items and it's the only place I will purchase meats. Tony dose what he can to have really good sales and you can almost always catch a 10# meat sale. When possible you can get fresh vegetables and produce that was grown locally.

The prices are very high than some stores I gone in meat is very high it's not kroger or Walmart it is privately own and they take can prices up the way they want too which hurt the ones who have shopped their live time HGHs down in. And good store to shopped pleastview

Tony's is a fantastic small town grocery store. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They have exemplary customer service and fantastic meat sales. In fact, Tony's is the only place we buy meat! Staff is always following guidelines for safety. LOVE Tony's!!

I love this place. The store is more than just groceries. They have a great plate lunch bar, with fresh cooked meals. And the people that work here treat you like they know you. I recommend this place as a goto. Tony did great building this establishment.

Very nice grocery store. Clean. Friendly staff. Only 4 star because there are virtually no vegetarian options in soups, no meat alternatives in the produce section and no vegetarian options in frozen foods. Coffee selection was also VERY limited.

I have almost always shopped here. Today was the first time your worker was rude to me. She didn't give me my receipt, didn't even say hi to me or talk to me, and then scoffed when I asked her to double bag my two heavy drinks.

We couldn't find what we were looking for. Asked Cody and he actually took us to where it should be. The shelf was empty, but most places would not have put any effort into a customer question. Highly recommend.
