When was the last time grocery shopping put a big smile on your face? You probably already know that TJ’s has great prices and a great selection of fresh, frozen, canned, and packaged foods. You probably have your favorites that you can’t live without. But I have to say, their employees are the greatest! This location has particularly amazing employees, but to be honest, I have never gone into a TJ’s where the employees haven’t been friendly, helpful, and engaging. I’m writing this in the parking lot because I didn’t want to forget to write this review. Today was a great example of how amazing these people are. One staff member came up to me and asked me if I was finding everything okay, and gave me a nice compliment (when was the last time that happened to you in a grocery store?), then the cashier and I had a lovely conversation while she was ringing me up, another staff member helped bag and joined in on the conversation. On my way out, the staff member who complimented me was outside collecting shopping carts and thanked me for returning my cart, then repeated her compliment and wished me a great day. I was shopping after a long, busy day at work. I was feeling a little tired and run down, but the staff here put the biggest smile on my face! And that happens just about every time I have shopped here. So I just had to write this review to thank these amazing people for doing a great job, with great attitudes! Thanks for putting a smile on my face after a hard day at work, and thank you for being such wonderful and amazing people!

I really love Trader Joe's. What a great market. A large percentage of my grocery dollars are spent here. Everything they sale is of the highest quality and at reasonable prices. When I go down the frozen food aisle I literally have to fight the urge to throw one of everything in my cart. I love the fresh flower bouquets at the front of the store. They have a nice selection of organic products. They also sell alot of products that you just wouldn't find in any other grocery store. For example, in what other grocery store would you find Pho being sold in their frozen food aisles? None. I just love it all. Also, they hands down have the friendliest employees of anywhere in this country. Funny and true story...once the cashier ringing up my purchases was so engaging and friendly while making lots of eye contact that I found myself while exiting the store thinking to myself "was that cashier flirting with me?". I got to thinking and when I got home I googled if Trader Joe's employees were trained to be flirty with customers. Turns out, a lot of people have asked this question. They are not, in fact, trained to flirt. They are just payed and treated so well that it lends itself to them being really happy with their jobs and this translates to really friendly service with a smile. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about Trader Joe's. Two huge thumbs up.

This is one of my most favorite places ever! They have so many great options! Their staff is super super friendly! My daughter loves their organic smoothies so I am constantly stopping by to pick her some up! They are very well stocked. The prices are very good. I bought some soaps yesterday as well as a rose water toner and a rose oil hand cream. My husband absolutely loves his place for all his spices. They have absolutely gorgeous flowers that are very well priced I bought a succulent yesterday for ten bucks. I also bought some tea tree shampoo and conditioner as well as a body wash and they were only $4 each and each bottle has 16 oz. They also have the most delicious mochi ever! Also, they have these Frozen chocolate covered bananas as well as strawberries that are delicious! Sorry for the long review. I would definitely stop by this place if you never have you would be amazed at all the things they have! And the prices are very very good!

What can you say, it's Trader Joe's. You either love it or hate it. If you want 56 types of toothpaste and motor oil while shopping for your Twinkies, I'd suggest you go elsewhere. For those unfamiliar with the TJ's experience, it's a carefully (dare I say it?) curated selection of sundry goods, so you don't get 12 choices for ketchup (but you do for hummus) and the junk food is less junky. A fair selection of organic foods and no artificial colors in anything. Frozen prepared foods are a strong point with amazing variety and quality. Also, a disproportionately large selection of wine and beer for a small store. It's great to be able to get in and out quickly and deal with people who seem to like their jobs (this last being one of my favorite parts of any commercial experience).

We often shop this location and now I will say that we will not come back to Trader Joe’s. While shopping on 09/02/22 we witnessed two managers go to a man with a shopping cart and making a scene just in front of the registers. Not only was the one manager scolding the man but they took the cart away and had him leave. Now I don’t know why nor am I saying that whatever he did was right but I feel that the managers could have handled the situation in a better way. There certainly was a more professional way than to make that type of scene in front of all the shoppers trying to checkout. That left a very bad taste in my mouth and no one should be humiliated in that manner. We may just be a couple of shoppers but maybe others feel as I do and will not be back

I hadn't been to this particular Trader Joe's before. I was amazed at all the plants and bulbs they had for sale. Prices were very nice (not expensive) It feels like a warm and inviting place that's easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They carry all sorts of products and foods. It was very clean and organized. It's a longer drive for me but I'm sure I'll be going back. Oh! They also have the best reusable shopping bags for sale ‼️ I bought several more since plastic bag usage is not supported. Even their wine and beer selection is very good! Next time I'll make more time to explore. It does get busy but it's a good business to support. I definitely recommend TJ's

Modest but homey uptown location. Too bad TJ's quit carrying Chambord, but a plus I guess that they even have a full liquor & extensive wine selection (if you're into that – I only got the Chambord, & only to top Ben & Jerry's – which TJ's doesn't carry, not a prob). Hope they bring back the daily coffee sampling too, but I guess summer '23 is still too COVID-adjacent. Could do without the dumb code locks on the bathrooms (the TJ's off Paseo del Norte doesn't do this), AND the staff secondhand smoke on the east outside where you park. Other than that - staff always helpful. Stock up on seasonal items/specialities you like quick, they WILL sell out not-to-return before you're ready.

I have been to many Trader Joe's around the country, at least 40, maybe more. They all have some things in common, good private label food and a great staff. However, some are bigger than others; some look kind of old and in need of some TLC; some have a bad produce section with expired or moldy veggies and fruits. This one is a good size, not too big, not too small. When they are too big it takes forever to get through them. When they are too small your choice of produts are limited. This one had some hard to find TJ's items. Their produce section was clean and only had fresh foods. Everyone was nice to me and I felt welcomed. This is, IMHO, a five Star Trader Joe's.

Very busy, hard to find parking, discontinued favorites, new gems. When I showed up the parking lot was 100% full. I had to follow a person to their spot and then sneak in as soon as they pulled out. The inside of the store was packed. I was sad to find that the sweet potato chips have been discontinued and that ice cream cones just went out of season. However, I found a vegan Parmesan cheese substitute at a reasonable price that actually tastes pretty good and a oat milk chocolate bar that is safe for my dairy-allergic girls to eat while still having that mild milk chocolate flavor. Some things you can only get at Trader Joe’s. It was busy for a reason.

I’ve always loved TJ’s because they unload the cart, bag my groceries, and help me out to the car. But I want to give a big shout out to the employees at this location. I went in today with a very fussy toddler, he was screaming down the isles and laying down in produce. A couple different employees tried talking to him, calming him down, offering him stickers, and distracting him the best they could. When none of it worked, they made a point of telling me that I was doing a great job and that I was being so patient and calm. It made me tear up. The employees have always been nice and helpful but today they went above and beyond. Thank you ❤️

Highly impressed with this Trader Joe's at 2200 Uptown Loop NE, Albuquerque NM. In my opinion, the Super Duper Staff at this location makes ALL the difference. Each and every staffer I came in contact with was friendly, attentive and proud to represent the Trader Joe's brand. If you've ever shopped at Trader Joe's, you already know that their shelves are stocked with some of the most unique and awesome merchandise! Items you won't find at the everyday 'big box' stores. Stores are always bright & clean. Parking availability is 'thumbs-up'. Security is visible. Employees are The Best!!

I loves me some TJ's but for the love of God can the customers follow the rules of the road, stay on the right side of the aisle and not stand around contemplating GMOs and HMOs and global footprint organic free range cancer causing nonsense while you schlep around drinking Starbucks- who purchases its beans from slave laborers in other countries and Starbucks still contributes to our landfill. TJ's is 1/3 the size of a regular grocery store, so that means move quickly, kindly and be aware of others. Nobody cares. Thank you for coming to my Pre Menopausal Ted Talk.

Trader Joe's takes the mundane out if grocery shopping and transforms this ubiquitous task into a culinary shopping delight. They don't carry everything, but what they carry is more important, the choicest fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and nuts, spices, sauces, oils. Their meat selection and wine selection are mouth watering. I was there early and parked in the first row. Traffic was light and there were as many employees as shoppers in this store. I didn't wait in line to check out, just walked up and was taken care of efficiently and politely.

Is Trader Joe's ORGANIC really organic?! Is Trader Joe's VANILLA ALMOND MILK REALLY VANILLA?! Read the labels. AS CONSUMERS WE ARE NOT RECEIVING what we pay for. CONSISTENCY is important. And this entity is consistent with their products wherever You can find a TJ store. From the quality of fruits and vegetables. To the variety of snacks be it vegan, keto and or whatever You're into these days. Items here are Reasonably affordable. Tons of conventional products, Spacious and clean environment for shopping and Oh the S T I C K E R S for kids are fun.

Purchased scotch by the label @ the UPTOWN one. Which my Scotch said was $18.99. The other description was for the Sherry cask at $24.99. So I brought it up to cash register purchased and was given the wrong price. So I brought that up to customer service, and they said well they just wrote it down wrong. Which then I asked if I can go ahead and exchange it out for the lesser one and was told they don't do refunds on alcohol. So buyer beware, their pricing seems to be more of a bait and switch, unless it was a one-time thing. I doubt it though..

I can’t say how happy Iam with this store and their honest crew members. My family are on vacation, me from Washington. We stopped at our favorite grocery store to load up for the week, and I lost my brand new Apple Watch. We spent the last 4-5 days searching for it at the rented house and calling everywhere we had been. Then my sister in law remembered Trader Joe’s. I called and wala it was there in their safe. Thank you so much, your crew and store are Wonderful ! Wish we had one in Mount Vernon Washington! ❤️❤️❤️

I love shopping for groceries here! Every week I treat myself to fresh flowers and eucalyptus because they’re so affordable at TJ. The selection is awesome, with exciting new products always popping up. Good value if you know how to hunt. Quality food at reasonable prices. The employees here are always so friendly. Checkout is the fastest of any grocery store I’ve ever been too! There are NO self checkouts, which I greatly appreciate. I will continue to go out of my way every week to shop here. Thank you !

I found it to be very uncomfortable when this young lady (who was working at the store) was following us around the store. My sister and I were here to shop for trail mix and would then keep there distance and follow us around. I found it to be very concerning because she wasnt discreet and kept making eye contact at us. I wanted to talk to the cashier about that because that is extremely inappropriate. I know next time that happens I will report it. My sister and I did not enjoy this experience.

I am a fan of Trader Joe’s. It’s sometimes a tossup between a fav as in Whole Foods. But, there are some extreme differences. Fresh Veggies and the wide variety of items distinguishes the two. I enjoy both. And having the option of going to either is a plus. But, Trader Joe’s has a great price point and an easy location to get in and out of in Albuquerque. So, it’s usually end up going to both. But, Trader Joe’s is simplistic and inviting and I will always shop Trader Joe’s.

I was in line to check out. I was finally up next and this taller gentleman who was the cashier never made eye contact with me. He talked with the woman he just checked out with for a good ten minutes and then just walked away to the back without saying a word. Leaving me to get in a different line. A little acknowledgment would have helped saying maybe you had break or you just didn’t want to help me. Never happened to me before. He needs to learn some manners.

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's! They always have friendly staff, great prices, great food and a clean and welcoming atmosphere! The quality and selection of food within the store is always great and I can always find something new to try and expand my palate. They always have fresh produce that looks and taste very yummy along with their own brand of packaged products that are interesting and very diverse. Like I said who doesn't love this store? It's awesome!

For starters, please think of 4 stars as a favorable review. TJ's is a good source for lots of things, and a regular stop for me for certain items. Stock varies from visit to visit, which is understandable but slightly inconvenient. It is among the best sources for wine that is often better than its price would signal. Many exclusives and store-branded items are a good deal. I say: shop here! 4 stars is a very good grocery store.

Trader Joe's is amazing. My girlfriend and I moved here and we now shop at trader Joe's. What gets us, other than the awesome and unique items, is how amazing the staff is. I am not sure if it is because of the pandemic or what, but they all have been amazing each trip we've taken. All the cashiers and staff outside are all conversational and actually fun. I commend them for being so enjoyable during the unprecedented times.

We like Trader Joe's selections. They have better quality products than the generic super markets. They have a good cheese selection. I like the layout of the stores and they always seem to have plenty of friendly staff out on the floor and at the registers. We also like their wine selection. Best price if you want some simple box wine for a gathering. My alternate is Sprouts which has an even bigger selection of veggies.

Trader Joe's is a great place to get fresh cut flowers and also planters of different kinds. Very good prices. Good quality. I miss the samples and the little cup of "pick me up" coffee. I find the prices on produce to be better than or very competitive with other markets. Meat is good with many choices. Add some of the many varieties of cheese and you have a great sandwich. Great customer service. Great management!

Super clean. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. I got a pound of dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Omg they are good. I managed to not eat them all on the way home, but only through extreme willpower. I forgot to go to the restroom, so I can't give a report on it. There's lots of delicious food shoved into this little building. The parking lot, like all Trader Joe's parking lots was crowded and chaotic.

Produce is terrible and often out of staple items - their usual response is the truck will be here this afternoon or tomorrow. That being said- I do like shopping at TJs. Great dairy, especially cheeses. Good variety and excellent price. ALso a large selection of dried fruits, nuts, crackers, soup broth, canned tomatoes and ice cream. TJs make shopping pleasurable and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

I like Trader Joe's. This store was nice. They had plenty of stock. I bought some beautiful flowers because they smell nice and can reduce stress. The people working there were great and extremely kind to my grandson. The peanut butter cups are amazing too. The trail mixes didn't seem to have chocolate in them, probably due to the heat in Albuquerque. I like chocolate in my trail mix, who doesn't?

Always a great trip at Trader Joe's, as they always have great produce, veggies, and treats! This trip yielded Spaghetti Squash, Queen Anne Squash, Honey Crisp Apples, pot stickers, pasta sauces, cheeses, tea, cocoa, and a couple bottles of exclusive adult beverages. This store is always clean and provides excellent customer service. My cashier was Daniel, and he was very, very kind!

I found what Werner Herzog wrote in review about Trader Joe's to be very accurate. Especially with the construction happening (2/2022). I mean yeah definitely get the peanut butter cups but they are now by the freezer. I enjoy the gluten free chicken nuggs very much. I do wish the gluten free products were easier to find as that is my sole purpose there and a significant allergy.

I moved from NYC 5 months ago and my Trader Joe's experience has changed tremendously. When I go the staff is delightful. Whenever I can't find an item either they get it for me or when they run out they let me know what days the product might be coming in. I've been getting consistent wonderful customer service since I started coming to this location. you won't regret coming in.

We love shopping at Trader Joe's due to their good selection of healthy food choices and their incredible prices. If you need help locating something or asking a question, we've always found it easy to find someone to help and they're always courteous and will go the extra step to help you The store is always clean and well lit.

Very nice and helpful people working there! I also love their melatonin tablets. However, their selection of alcohol free beer and wine is abysmal. All the while companies like Whole Foods, Sprouts even Total Wine and More have gone above and beyond with the selection of alcohol free products. You can do better Trader Joe's. Hence, my 2 star rating.

While I'm not a fan of the lack of self-checkout and having to come up with a conversation with the cashiers, I think the food and prices are great. Love the tags all over the store giving more detailed explanations for various items. It adds a lot of charm and makes it feel very welcoming. I hope they fix their card readers to properly scan ebt.

There are many pluses from shopping at TJs but perhaps my favourite is that you can buy European wine at more or less the same price (a little more, actually) that it would cost in Europe. I guess it is because they do their own import (it is owned by a German company). I really recommend their aged Barbaresco. At 20 bucks it is a steal.

Man, I LOVE Trader Joes. They have great goods and a beyond reasonable price. I've only been to this location a few times, but it is hands-over-fist cleaner and well-organized AND fully-staffed than the one on Paseo Del Norte. It's in a central location to a lot of shops so it's not too much of a destination. I recommend.

This is my home away from home. The staff could NOT be more awesome. I love, love, love them. I tend to shop here far too often (seriously, several days per week). Of course, it's Trader Joe's, so the snacks and frozen foods sections are always incredible. Great beer and wine selection. Etc. I could go on and on.

I like coming here. Prices are really good for people like me that want good food without the high price tag. The employees are friendly and helpful. There is an amazing amount of organics and vegan offerings. Almost everything is Trader Joe's brand but it's really high quality. The in-house beers are excellent.

It was a nice visit, we came to get several different items ready for the holiday. We appreciate the Texas toast sized cinnamon raisin bread that is offered at the paseo location, so we missed out on that because it's apparently only over there That's the reason for four stars other than that great visit.

I just really love this store! The employees are always so nice and friendly and it's just a really nice place to shop because of that. They also have cool plants for great prices! Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store! I really love not having to worry about my food choices there because everything is amazing. They offer samples of coffee and various food items every day. It's easy to get hooked on something new that way. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I love it!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at any Trader Joe’s. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The store is ALWAYS clean. They’re ALWAYS fully stocked. This location was no different. The two times I went, both checkout clerks were kind, sociable, and happy. Try the coconut cold brew coffee.

Trader Joe's promises to never have self-checkout. Love them even more now. I'm a fan of so many of their unique foodstuffs and products, I don't even know where to start. Latest food crush is Organic Mostly Mesquite honey. Find your crush and carry on shopping at Trader Joe's.

Lots of interesting food and mostly happy people there. The building was cold due to open freezer bins. Wear a sweater or light jacket. Cash registers are close together, a little crowded. Parking lot needs to be bigger. We have to grocery shop at 3 different company stores.

I thought it was a very interestingly great visit. First time visiting the place & it couldn't have gone any smoother than it already did. Loved how they have interesting information about what the item you're looking at, has! Definitely will be returning soon!

My husband and I have been consistently surprised by how great the service is here. All cashiers seem to be having fun at the register and with the customers. It makes you feel like only shopping there! Prices are surprisingly cheap and the variety of products is excellent.

I loved coming in here. First time at this location. They seemed to have some good bargains. This wasn't a planned stop, but we picked up a few items. Wasn't real crazy about the parking lot, a bit confusing to get around, people not really careful pulling in or out.

It's Trader Joe's! If you're not familiar with it, you're missing out. Their selection is excellent with a lot of unique goods. Store brand liquors, beers and exclusive wines. Store brand goods are excellent. Excellent olive oils, chips, breads, nuts and produce.

This Trader Joe's is consistently busy and, frankly, a little crowded. What they don't have in square footage, they make up for in product variety and truly excellent customer service, especially in the checkout line. Their flower selection is not to be missed.

The selection may be smaller than larger grocery stores but you can you can do a grocery run. There are certain products you won't find anywhere else but you will live. Staff is helpful with locating products and providing information about them and options.

Always helpful kind people willing to help. Love the fresh products! It's a great store for so many reasons. Buy flowers for a friend, or wine, specialty snacks, or magazines for cooking. Well laid out floor plan, and lots of cashiers for quick in and out.

The flowers are always beautiful and plentiful. The people are helpful and friendly. They'll quit stocking shelves to help you find your items. They are helpful & kind to my 92 year old mom. And even listen to her story of the day. The food is good.

Very small, difficult to bumping baskets. Wish they had fresh fish and meats. Friendly and convenient, but silly to close at 8pm! What about medical staff that works 8am to 8pm. I love TJ wish they had more modern day options for busy professionals.

Trader Joe's has a wonderful selection of wonderful gluten-free items! I am especially enjoying the hamburger buns and English muffins. If you need gluten-free, ask for their list. They provide amazing friendly service with these excellent products.

Great selection with affordable, healthy options and friendly staff makes TJs a long time fave. We now live 4+ hours drive from the closest one so hopefully TJ will open a store in Silver City NM someday but in the meantime we make an annual visit.

This location always has friendly staff and stocked items for the season. I love going to trader Joe's for skin care and snacks, it will always be in my go to for a quick yummy gift to give friends and family. They always have unique choices!

Need more of these. fresh produce & meat, great seasonal items, all the staples, and believe it or not, better prices than big stores. You want to pay $6 for a loaf of sourdough bread at Smith's, go for it. I'm gonna get it at TJs for $3.49.

Hands down to the best trader joe in town. This is my favorite one and the staff is always friendly and courteous. Store is always kept tidy and clean. So much selection for great prices. Security is also in place to make you feel safe.

I always love shopping here. They have unique finds, and since I have to drive 3 hrs to get here, I stock up. Great sourdough bread, meats cheeses, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, crackers Chai tea, and the list goes on. Highly recommend.

Store is ok and has a lot of variety. I don't really care for most of the products in there, but that's my personal choice. One of the few items I always go for is the dark chocolate peanut butter cups! You can't go wrong with those!

Great place, but watch out for Albuquerque drivers in the tight parking lot. Been here twice and I've seen two accidents. The one was absolutely hilarious. Someone just broad sided a parked car with their mini van in broad daylight.

I go here often. The staff is always helpful, and when it's busy it seems like everyone jumps in on the registers. They actually use all their registers, which is great. Also they don't have self check out, which I appreciate.

I haven't been inside a Trader Joe's in a few years but I went in here to get a few of their seasonings I like. The shelves were well stocked and the produce looked beautiful and fresh. I also found a few new things to try.

Their zero-calorie sprays are the best! Beautiful produce. Highly recommend the frozen Argentinian Red Shrimp. Melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness when prepared in the Instant Pot. Friendly and knowledgeable employees.

I love Trade Joe's, people are super friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and produce always fresh. The only complaint I have about this location, is the parking! The lot is small, spaces tight and it's busy!

I compared my receipt between like items from Walmart and Trader Joe's, with getting more organic from the latter. I saved 11 dollars shopping at Trader Joes! I only wish they had online ordering, as I am disabled!

I don't know how traders can always be super busy, but never have a long check out line and happy wonderful customer service and decent prices. Traders should be a model for every other grocery store in America.

Always going shopping there everytime I go to Albuquerque. Love to purchase items you can't buy at a regular store that are as good as the ones at Trader Joe's. Recommend this place if you have never gone there.

Went in here a few hours ago and we really appreciated the efficient check out from Ashley and the bagging person! It's not an easy job and five full bags of groceries was packed up very efficiently and fast.

This store is always shuffling in new products. Lots of healthy food to choose from. The workers here are friendly and they know I have a drinking problem. But it's New Mexico, so drinking is normalized.

It's a small grocery chain. The parking at this one is small but not as horrible as most. Now that I have a family and am not just shopping for myself, I find their shopping carts annoyingly small.

I love Trader Joe's for its long list of great products at fair prices. There isn't one thing that I've tried in this store that I dont like. Check out their dark chocolate truffles. TO DIE FOR!!

Trader Joe's is a fun place to shop. I like to try their new products. The cheese selection is always interesting. The only issue I have is that it is far from where I live.

Latest visit: the vitamins I went looking for were no longer available, nor the instant cold brew coffee, so sad face. Old post: Always find something new, staff is friendly

Absolutely love that T.J.s has not resorted to self-checkout like all the other grocery stores. I really appreciate the cashiers there, and the prices are still reasonable!

Love Trader Joe's. Never go with a list but always find tons of great things. They're frozen dumplings are terrific. Always have a very friendly staff. Lots of surprises

It's our go-to place for: Hummus, Mini-Avocados, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Bananas, dried fruit and assorted nuts. Checkouts are fast and friendly. I always leave happy.

As usual, everybody was friendly n helpful. Some items I recommend: Meyer lemon cookie thins, 73% Belgian dark chocolate non-pareils, n TJ's PB protein granola.

I can always find great snacks and fresh fruit in this place. It's clean and someone is at the door collecting carts and cleaning them after each patron.

Greatest place to shop in uptown. The staff is friendly,helpful, and knowledgeable. Plus, you get impaled stuffed animals to traumatize children with.

Super busy almost always. Parking can be tough. Nice Trader Joe's with lots of your favorite food choices and wines!
