I really love going to Trader Joe’s. I was looking for produce which was extremely expensive at Vons. I was so surprised! It was like $10 for a spaghetti squash and $10 for a butternut squash. I know that Trader Joe’s is known for the frozen food but I feel like they have decent produce as well. It may not be on the level of Whole Foods but it is good enough! I went to get a spaghetti squash and butternut squash from them and they were each $3 and they didn’t charge by weight. This was clearly a much better option. The people that work at Trader Joe’s are friendly. I really like the banana bread that comes in a box to make. I also like the potato latkes in the frozen section. They have an amazing vegan French onion dip. They also have these corn chips that are perfect for dipping. and I couldn’t forget the curly lentil chips. Trader Joe’s has some unique items that you cannot find anywhere else. The prices are reasonable. Overall I would recommend going here. The one drawback to this Trader Joe’s in particular is the parking lot can get a little packed and narrow.

Usually come here on Wednesday mornings and the staff is wonderful. Came on a Thursday morning today and everything was fine until checkout— I could read her name tag but a woman with the name “Fresca” or something similar was extremely rude and condescending to us. We had put our items in our own shopping bags so they could easily be checked out and re-bagged. She was asking if “there was a reason” why we felt the need to put our items in bags and what we wanted to do about it. It was incredibly strange and extremely off-putting. She was laughing in our faces and being just generally. gross. I’ve shopped at multiple grocery stores and have never experienced behavior like that before. For a company who cares about the way their employees interact with customers, this was incredibly un-inviting. Will definitely stick to Wednesday mornings where we’ve dealt with incredibly nice employees. She should not be employed here with that attitude.

Trader joes is in my opinion the best place to get your groceries or even stop to get a snack, me as a kid i love the roasted seaweed, the crackers, the guacamole and chips, their strawberries are my favorite, the Oreo like cookies and their baked goods . My mom was always and still is against artificial colorings and flavors so what i love about trader joes is that they have zero products that use artificial flavors nor colors. My sister which is 8 lives finding a hidden monkey called “banana jack” because at the end when you check out they give you a lolly pop i will make sure i post a photo of him. Also the service is great they are all very kind.

I visited this store this morning and like to mention a young girl at register was ignoring me and didn’t even respond to my greeting to her. she was loud and cheat chatting with another person on mother register complementing each other Jewelery and then moving from one subject to another . It’s nice to be friendly with coworker but ignoring costumers right in front of you and handing the purchase receipt as you still talking over costumer’s head is insulting to costumers. I think costumers should be the priority and their presence should be acknowledged and respected. Please leave personal talks for break room. Thank you

Parking is TERRIBLE, and there’s always accidents, zero care for pedestrian right of way. That’s not Trader Joe’s fault though. This store has a great layout, and the flowers last so long! Staff is friendly Cheese selection here is not the best, I live close to Mission Valley and Hillcrest and which inarguably have more variety. I love the plant selection out front here, very broad selection and quality. I specifically like the checkout layout, this store’s checkout area seems bigger. Alcohol selection great layout, too.

I love this store. In 2019 during a difficult time when I lost a family member, one of the employee gave me a basket of 3 succulent as a community thing. She left san diego but the succulent and my appreciation has grown. Recently for the first time when there was a limited # of arugula I called and asked them to hold one for me. I wasn't sure of quality as I like to pick up my stuff but it was the best package, kept cold in the back. So many thanks to all wonderful employees and managers.

Absolutely love this trader Joe's right in La Jolla. Has amazing prices all year round and I'm always a fan of their seasonal stuff as well. All of the staff that I have encountered there so far have been extremely helpful and pleasant as well to talk to. I am here on a weekly basis and will be happily be back soon. Thank you so much for all your hard work at this store and for making my shopping trip more enjoyable. Can't wait to see it when all the new renovations are finally completed !!

High quality, great variety, fun & unique products, including organic groceries (LOVE their organic basil & organic sugar plum tomatoes), delicious dairy free frozen desserts, whipped coconut cream, thinly sliced-salted plantain chips, plain goat milk kefir, etc... Trader Joe's is my go to for all my grocery & gift shopping needs. I go here to shop for everyday, hosting holiday & other parties & even find great gifting options.

Be careful at the parking! I almost lost my left foot today! A lady had her car parked next to me crossing the lines of her spot. When she started backing up while i was loading my groceries in the back seat her car’s back wheel was just about 2 inches from running over my left foot!! Thanks god i turned around on time to see it and knocked her car to stop her. It blows my mind how bad the parking situation is!!

Great prices for healthy foods! Left with a hand basket full & only spent $50. Went to Target earlier and got a few things for that price. Cherry on top is their customer service! Edward was phenomenal & has great character. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. Couldn’t even leave the parking lot without reviewing him because of how great of a job he did. Much appreciation for your Edward!

Go to place for Organic and Seasonal Fruits and vegitables, curated snacking items and fine selection of different Cheese . Package Quantity is good for small family, so you can trip every week here. I like their selective collection of stuff instead of having 10 different varieties of some stuff. You will also find many packed Indian curry items which are better than any other place.

This is a Super Trader Joe's! Just one tip: unless you're walking impaired, do consider parking next to the pet shop around the corner. Your car will be happier for not getting dings. The parking spaces are small and the traffic pretty heavy. They'd also underground parking, with the entrance close by.

What a shop ! Through all the steps of our road trip we’ve seen expensive and disgusting fresh products but here it’s organic, fresh and ACTUALLY GOOD. And guess what’s better ? It’s 2 times cheaper than what we had before. And the cashier Nate was a lovely guy who made my evening more joyful !

Every single member of the team took time to help me and would ask other staff if they didn't know. TJ products are fantastic for a fair price. Store was clean and organized making for a wonderful shopping experience. Special shout out to Dana and the store manager for going above and beyond!

This store is like my extended kitchen pantry. Even when I have to wait in line to go in it's always the most pleasant place to wait in line. The sun is always shining. A little bit of a marine breeze usually. The people in the store are the best. I know so many of them and love them dearly.

If you are a fan of Trader Joe's, this one is pretty standard. I was there on a Thursday AM and it was surprisingly busy. Could be because it's the closest one to campus. Not sure what else TJs would need to do to get 5 stars, but it's a market after all. Does what it's supposed to do

Great store, terrible parking and drivers. The two Mexican men who were at the registers were friendly and gave their take on the Taki like chips I got. I love how they bag my stuff for me. I wish they had some of the old timey, sturdy cotton cloth bags that say the city and state.

As usual TJs was great BUT parking at this location was very challenging due to height restricted parking lot! (Can't remember the exact height but less than 9') I parked out back by PetSmart and walked. Oh well. But this is something you can't tell by looking at Google maps.

I visited this store yesterday, products are good of course, but unfortunately the service was terrible, even though it wasn't that busy. I asked 2 people for help to find a couple of products I couldn't find, and they didn't make any effort and their attitude was poor ...

I love Trader Joe's and go to this one most often. The staff are nice and very helpful. They seem like they like working there which makes it a pleasant place to work. Parking is not my favorite part. However the different types of food I can get make up for that.

Great Trader Joe's - like all of them. Delicious, healthy (natural) products at moderate prices . Always purchase the 99c sparkling H20 & the 50c liters of still water. Also appreciate the large selection of gourmet & domestic cheeses for exceptional prices.

Most TJ stores have extra parking removed to appear more popular. I have noticed that if you spend 20 or 30 minutes configuring fresh produce into various satanic symbols, no one will even ask if you need help.

This is a great store. I went there for the gluten free options. They have English style gluten free muffins as well as gluten free coffee cake. They are both delicious. Trader Joe's LJ is a great store!

Trader Joe’s is always amazing. I always get everything truffle they have going on. Right now they have ketchup and mayonnaise with truffle and they’re amazing!
