"Lovely travelLodge"
I just wanted to share my experience of staying at the Travelodge in Walthamstow after the stressful experience of not having access to water in my flat. THE STAFF WERE AMAZING. Ella made sure I had the sheets changed when I asked even though this is not their policy. Kamal who was amazing and efficient at breakfast time. Tashi who was such a joy to talk to, such lovely energy and really personable. Esme was really helpful when I needed resources topped up in the room. Alex was amazing and supportive when I needed anything and had my needs as priority. There are so many people who end up in the hotel because of unfortunate circumstances and the beautiful energy of the staff made it such a warm experience. I hope they continue to be the smile people need on their grey days :) THANK YOU.

Noteworthy details
I do think it's odd not to see reception as you enter which felt a little unsafe at times, especially when anyone can have access into the building. When replacing lost cards, identification should be requested. There should be a fridge in the rooms. There should be an active restaurant with a variety of food available, which changes. Fresh food which is cooked on the premises. Cleaning of the rooms should happen more often. Separate staff for reception and the cooking/drinks so their can be the best service provided for each experience.

Well Arriving at the hotel you can’t park to drop off your stuff as it’s a taxi or bike area. Got to reception checked in went into room. We had a child and requested a cot was told we would have one within half hour two hours passed and nothing. We went out and then it appeared after asking twice ! Opened the cot and it was absolutely disgusting stains and rips all over it our baby was not saying in there ! He slept in the bed with us which by the way is TINY safe to say none of us got any sleep. Next morning I informed them of the night we had the supervisor said we could get another which we did same disgusting condition! I came back down AGAIN to express we were not staying the receptionist seems disinterested. I spoke to the supervisor she went up and checked and then checked us out safe to say a refund is due and we won’t be retuning We left two days early which was not the plan as we were visiting family and friends. In hindsight we should of brought our own cot but when you get told you’ll be provided with one didn’t think to. Oh yes and the hotel smells of smoke. Have to pay extra for Wi-Fi what a joke. Won’t be returning at all one positive thing is that the location is a good one. That’s all!

Poor
Not even worth the rating…. My family stayed in this hotel for a whole week. Multiple complains to reception were made about smell of cigarettes and weed coming to their room through the ventilation shaft. The solution for the manager was to just come in and spray air freshener -yes, new room was offered, but could’ve resulted in worst conditions. The smell has passed the next day, shockingly. Multiple complains and requests were made about topping up the room, take out tiny bins and change towels-after 4days nothing happened, just the door hanger disappeared which clearly is asking for the room to be cleaned. Receptionist told me to come next day !again! ( for the third time myself and my family multiple times asking for cleaning) to complain to manager who maybe will make sure the room will be cleaned on fifth day of stay. Also calls to the hotel are charged, with zero results for basic service. Unless you don’t require from hotel to do a bare minimum- taking bins out, changing towels, topping up toiletries - do not stay here.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Walthamstow hotel and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Despite being a budget hotel, I found the accommodations to be clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was spacious and had all the basic amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the small touches, like the complimentary toiletries and the coffee maker in the room. The hotel staff were very friendly especially Ella, who was helpful throughout my stay, and was always willing to answer my questions and offer recommendations for things to do in the area. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, I was impressed with the value and quality of the Travelodge hotel. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of a more luxurious hotel, it's a great option for budget-conscious travellers looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Lovely travelLodge. Reception don't get enough credit, so many weird characters in the lobby every time I was down there that hey had to deal with. Jasmine was super friendly towards me and the room itself was fine for one night stay. The only bad thing is the tv remote volume didn't work in my room and the towels were pretty crunchy. I paid for wifi, which worked fine, but it only allows two devices so bare that in mind. I did see some guests get free early check, which did make me wondered why I paid for it I had a nice view from my room and the high street nearby is full of food and stores. I'd totally stay here again!

Quiet, Great value
Room clean and comfortable but looks like somebody's been kicking holes in the bed base- wooden frame exposed.great view of the City and Docklands from the 12th floor.Nice and quiet but traffic noise might be an issue if you sleep with the window open Breakfast is OK but staff seem to struggle with keeping up with demand. Access to tube and bus networks is great- only a couple of minute walk from Walthamstow Central.

To be fair, the location is ok and rooms nice. HOWEVER, it's evident from my check in that they always overbook the rooms and operate a 'first come first served' policy, this is what the manager actually said to the person who I was trying to check in with. As such, it's completely unreliable and I'd suggest skipping it. Also, apologies to Carol, apparently they moved you out of the room allocated to you, as I arrived first!!

Very friendly welcome at reception. The room was comfortable with all you need, try to get a room near the top to reduce traffic noise. The sound insulation is good but it is at a busy junction in central London. 2 minutes walk from the tube station. Breakfast was good and plentiful, in a bright, airy room with a small bar.

This is a belated thank you to the staff on one of the hottest weekends in June. Staff were helpful, accommodating and overall the accommodation was clean and fit for our purpose. Location for public transport is perfect. Walthamstow the village can be noisy on weekends so if you can work around that, its a good location. Lots of restaurants in the area and of course the Saturday market.

Yeah, fine...I guess? Badir on reception was great - welcoming and friendly. The rest is overpriced and could just be a bit better for the money. Shower that only had one temp (HOT), and a shower curtain that just encourages water onto the floor, plus no bathmat provided. Window on permanent vent, so quite noisy from the bus station outside. Covienent location near the station, but that's the best thing going for it.
Very convenient location. Smaller room with more basic facilities compared with recent visit to a Premier Inn. Ate onsite and our meals didn't match the description - apparently because they don't do salad onsite! Nice receptionist gave us free J2O drinks as compensation.

Currently staying at the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The room is very dirty, a lottt of staines, no fridge, we hanged the 'clean our room' card on the door and they only changed the towels. Also one day we came back to the room and they left the door open. Lukely nothing got stolen out of the room. More
Very nice and friendly staff the evening food was ok but clearly microwave. The room was ok but the shower was lovely nice pressure and hot. Ideal if you need the tube as right next to the station.

Excellent customer service. Bed very comfortable. Need to supply more milk and tea bags in room. And although the shower had lovely hot water the horrendous sound it made kept ringing in my ear which was unpleasant. Great location Walthamstow train station 2 minutes walk away from hotel. More

Paid over 400 pounds for two nights, without breakfast, then on top had to pay 3 pounds for internet, they should have worn a mask, then I would know I was being robbed, also no towels were changed and room was not cleaned or bed made up, never again

Honestly, the hotel is pretty average, the rooms are clean but they do not clean them for you and obviously they won't change the towels unless you tell them to. The station is super close, and there's costa coffee, tesco and a lot of shops
I guess it’s expected at this price but overall was really not satisfied with our stay. We got the super room thinking it might be a bit better but alas. There was no mini fridge. The mugs and spoons seemed unclean, the bathroom had a very
Very good location, next to station and shops. Easy to get to Central London. Clean room but down side is that the room is very hot even with a fan. And the parking next to it, whatever time of day always expires at 4.30am (£7 daily only,
Great position for the train station Modern and clean hotel. The hotel just seems understaffed. Breakfast on the first morning was fine. Second morning it was disappointing. It seemed that there was only 2 members of staff working in the
The customer service is excellent, prices is really affordable and the hotel room was really clean. However, the assistant manager Ella is really helpful and friendly thank you so much. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is
Since the review below, a great deal of renovations took place here, the rooms look and are upgraded and definitely this hotel has the best management ever, Mo really cares for the guests and the good promotion of the hotel, well done!!
By far my favourite travelodge iv bn to. Ella was Excellent! Friendly staff and so many great things to do all around... walking distance. They have parking spaces for travelodge guests. Gr8 rooms too More
Standard no fuss Travelodge. Easy to get to from the station and staff are on hand at all hours. Some of the furniture in the room could be updated but can't complain for a cheap stay. More
Super small room. Booked a super room with high hopes but walked in to a very small room. Carpet was stained very badly. Kettle did not work. Fan was broken.
Great Lodge, great views , great shops near by , station is next to hotel. And good car park
