This place makes me feel like I'm in a trendy tech companies break room. Definitely geared towards Gen-Z dorm living. But that doesn't stop people of all ages from staying. Breakfast buffet is very decent, they have this cool robot pancake maker that feels like "the future is now" . Seriously wave your hand, batter squirts into a conveyor, Cooks as it travels. The flops out onto your rotating plate. Pretty cool. If I could make a change/request, it would be. Serve both sausage links AND bacon daily. Decaf coffee is available upon request for those that get the jitters. Just ask. Beds are firm but comfortable. Pillows not too flat. The lemon scented bodywash in the showers smells freaking awesome. Might see if I can find a clone on Amazon. Room service is available upon request or automatic every 4th day for those long trips. The TV's are decent size but the guide completely Sucks. Channel 2, no interactivity. Does not match any available online channel guidelines for DirecTV. So that's very annoying. They have 2 tiers on WiFi, and it tries to upsell you upon connecting. The free tier was good enough for work, browsing, YouTube & laughing at some Instagram videos. This place is definitely going for the hip/trendy design wise. Not what we set out to look for but was very reasonably priced. We would stay again.

Awful experience. Traveled here for work, checked in Saturday night and by Sunday morning, mine and several other vehicles had their windows smashed and belongings stolen. I understand these things happen but I was told by an employee that this has happened multiple times recent. You should probably warn your customers about this if it is happening frequently, maybe even hire security instead of being so negligent but obviously you don’t believe your consumers are worth around $25 an hour. Was told on SIX separate occasions that the manager (supposedly Josh) would reach out to me, still nothing. I wish I had got the very sweet young lady who checked us in as she was the only one there who showed any sort of customer service. This matter has been escalated and Hilton will be losing a substantial business account because of Josh’s (if he even exists) inability to communicate, follow up with or show any consideration for his guests safety.

This Tru location did not disappoint! Clean lobby and rooms, top notch amenities, great service and location to shops and food. The staff were welcoming and I can tell care about customer service. Complimentary Breakfast and tea and coffee were exceptional for the price of the stay. Hard to find good quality and affordable prices these days but they do it here!

I booked 2 rooms during my stay in San Antonio. Connecting rooms were not available, but staff assigned us rooms that were directly across the hall. Check-in took a little bit longer than expected. Thus, the lady in front of me appeared to be experiencing an issue of some sort. A staff member inquired with myself and the lady behind me regarding the type of assistance that was needed. I found it kind of rude that she immediately assisted the lady behind me without an explanation. Another staff member brought this to her attention, and she explained that she hadn't been trained to complete guest check-in, but knew how to replace a lost key. A little communication would have been nice. The rooms were kind of small, but the entire property was clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast options! I'd definitely stay at this property again.

I really really want to like this place. Unfortunately between being able to hear the TV and snoring from surrounding rooms and the lack of hot water makes it a firm no for me to try again. I think the idea is outstanding- it was nice to see people using the common areas and the gym. I love that there is a common area water dispenser. The staff is friendly and it’s always a huge positive when a place is dog friendly which this is. Being a Hilton, I expected the front desk staff to be a little more “up” on the Hilton process. I got asked for a credit card when I checked in even though I had booked through the Hilton app with my Hilton card. I was surprised when I didn’t get to choose my room and have a digital key given the modern/new-ness of this place. I hope a little more effort is given in the future on places like this because it could be cool but right now isn’t worth it, at all.

Understand, this is not a "regular" hotel, if you will. It is designed to be modern looking but minimalistic. It succeeds. It is sufficient for a short stay but nothing longer. We did 4d3n; I think if we stay longer, we'll look for a different place. But, the location was perfect for our needs. Service was excellent, shout out to Hilda! Breakfast was good. If you have family at Franklin Park, definitely consider this place.

My stay was not as good as I thought it would be. My check in went okay and was given the complimentary water and snack for being a diamond member but as soon as I got to my assigned room I noticed the shower had some hair. Also, the pillow I was laying on had some crumbs. When I went to turn on the water in the bathroom there was no hot water and being that I had a long drive and was exhausted, I didn’t bother to call the front desk since I also had to be out by 6 am for a early morning trip. When I went to check out the gentleman was asleep so took him a bit to realize I was there. Anyway, I don’t think I’ll be back to this location anytime soon.

Just have to say that the staff was so friendly & welcomed us well. The morning breakfast was worth the trip too, the rooms were so comfy & I wish I could have stayed longer. I also liked that everything to sight see or adventure around was so close to the hotel & the drive to places was so quick. I most definitely know that I will book another stay next vacation I take to San Antonio again.

Clean rooms, good beds. Updated aesthetic is more fun/modern than most. Breakfast was disappointing, though. Everything is sugar. Cereals, nasty pancakes with literal candy and whipped cream as toppings, muffins, bread, etc. There were some little cheese omelettes that were ok, but the sausage was turkey sausage. That and boiled eggs were your only protein options. No salsa for the omelettes, either.

Our stay was good. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. The only thing I didnt like was that the receptionist kicked us out of the back patio area without explaining why. We were out there for about an hour and she comes out and says "this area is closed" and leaves. I didnt see any signs stating there was a closing time for that area, if that was the reason she said that.

This hotel was a lot better than I expected. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We got plenty of complimentary water bottles, lots of options at the free breakfast, and the location is right behind a plaza with a bunch of food options. The room was clean and cozy with a big TV. Only negative was finding a hair that didn't belong to me in the shower but everything else was better than expected.

This was the first "Tru" I stayed at, and I really liked it. It has a modern and trendy design, but the rooms have comfortable beds and all the accessories needed. Good, hot breakfast included with plenty of seating in the main lobby area. Lots of restaurants within walking or super short driving distance. Friendly staff. Good value.

Very noisy hotel. You can hear the TV on the next room. The AC unit is very loud. The bed is not comfy The rooms are very very small The STAFF increased the rate when I checked out. Even I reserved as a member and through the Hotel website. NOT Friendly at ALL. I will never come back and I DO NOT recommend this hotel to any one.

First I have to tell you check your statements. Multiple charges to my card which were only supposed to be holds. When I called and spoke with management I was told to pick it up with card company. Also I understand being so close to downtown you might have to pay for parking but their valet is astronomical! This branch of Hilton is no better than any other crook.

  • Jenny Chamberlain

The price was great and the location was excellent. The rooms are brand new, very clean, and quiet, even if a little small. Although I had to leave at 6 am for a meeting before breakfast started at 7, the staff still got me a fresh bagel with cream cheese, some yogurts, and some juice. Overall I was very pleased and plan to return. More

Very friendly front desk team. Jonathan was there the first day and he was very nice and helpful. On the 2nd day there was a very nice lady at the front desk. The hotel is nice and clean. It is also new, but I guess what makes the difference is the customer service which was great. Breakfast was simple and fresh. More

I stayed three nights, arriving very late after a delayed flight. I found the staff very helpful. and accommodating. The room was clean, had a nice comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Whilst a budget hotel, i thought it gave all round excellent value. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Nice set up. Small/ convenient gym with treadmills, yoga balls, weights, clean towels. Bathroom size is bigger than most of the hotels in the price range with is awesome. Patio with plenty of seats and great views. The building is 10 months

Great location close to many restaurants and shops, the rooms are clean and the bed super comfortable. The hot breakfast was delicious with a variety of options: scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, muffins and bagels, pancakes, fruits

TRU was great choice for our weekend mini vacation visit to San Antonio. We found it to be centrally located and convenient to surrounding attractions. Clean building, room and restrooms. Great Service from all shifts. Great

  • Noor Himani

The room smelled like mold. For this being a new hotel, it didn’t feel very clean or up to date. The shower water pressure was also very low. I think this place has potential to improve but our stay was not pleasant.

  • Sabrina Rosas

The Hotel was absolutely beautiful. They have a nice patio and a cute little view a nice lounge area. Breakfast was good. The best part was the shower! Only bummer was this doesn’t have a pool. Good location. More
